Yea verily re the birds. I have a Carolina wren singing its heart out daily defending its nesting tree here. Beautiful and very loud birdsong. I feel honored when the birds visit this small speck here on Planet Earth.
I moved my suet feeder that so many birds have flocked to over this long and dreary winter (the woodpecker’s have found it day one) to re-establish the Hummingbird Feeder.
Spring has not exactly sprung in my heat as yet. But when I see the first Hummingbird I will take courage.

Good afternoon Retired IG. The first hummingbird showed up here in N. Texas over the Easter Weekend. I am still feeding the birds. I feed the birds all year here and also have two sources of water for them. In the winter I have heated buckets and the birds became accustomed to the buckets and now look for them in the same area every year when winter arrives. Have a wonderful day.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.

I condemn what Israel has done in Gaza and the West Bank and Lebanon and Syria and Iraq. If we honestly watch PDJT and look at the fruits of his labor we will be amazed.
Listen to what President Trump says, his transparency in what he thinks, and the purposes behind his actions. You can see the consistency in the words he speaks, what he asks/demands of others, and the massive nearly overnight changes he is making in the world. It is amazing. It is amazing he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass, often seemingly on his own team — but less so this term.
The purposes of everything he does, despite my battered conservative skepticism, are for benefit first of the PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States with its Constitutional Republic is the best environment in the world for happy people.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who selfishly took advantage of this country and its people and its wealth for their own selfish gain at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He wants the US to be a light on the hill, and will negotiate win/win with those nations and countries who respect us and the principles and intent of our Constitution. But if you do not respect us, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness share in our wealth at our expense. And if you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us until you show you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of who truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic which support the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train, seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth — and the principles of our Creator who is undeniably the standard in all of our founding documents.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 93 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

I’m curious if those against Caldwell listened to the interview.
I found it very interesting.
He was never given a polygraph.
They did not limit his access to sensitive information post removal.
They did not take his phone to scour for leaked information or contacts.
He worked with Pete Hegseth for roughly a decade.
I distrust our government enough, which includes the IC, that I don’t believe the pushed narrative.
Until there is proof that he was the source I will continue to be skeptical.
I’m not convinced that this isn’t an IC maneuver to weaken President Trump and SecDef Hegseth.
The forever war crowd would love the Iranian situation to go kinetic.
That’s kicker for me: “He worked with Pete Hegseth for roughly a decade.” And he’s quickly fired?

That’s what my dad said after he spent 14 yrs during both the Korean & VN wars in the USAF.
Every now & then Holyweird puts out a “limited hangout” such as “The Shooter” that goes part of the way to the truth.
Yes, I like that movie. Along with most of the actors in it. I like actress Kate Mara – mainly because she is one of the few HollyWeird actresses that keeps her clothes on (as far as I know).
Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc. were ALL overthrown so that multinational corporations could come in to exploit the resources of those countries.

Thank you for posting this. I’ve been saying for years that my battle buddies and I were nothing more than underpaid mercenaries not fighting for the best interest of our fellow countrymen. Let me clarify one thing. I’m all about smoking the bad guys and sending them to hell where they belong. My point is the entire premise of the Iraq war was based on a lie. Our entire government at the time got on board and decided to lie to the American people. What resulted was a generation of soldiers that once again got used by the powers that be and through their corruption they corrupted us. They made us mercs and killers for an unjust cause. I would say there is “NATIONAL SECURITY”, and then there are “National Interests”,…and then there are “Corporate Interests” and they have all gotten confused.
For instance, in another comment above I give a brief review of the history of Iran vs the U.S.
American and British oil companies found oil in Iran, and began exploiting it.
Iran elected a leader, who Nationalised the oil resources, for the Iranian people.
And so the CIA and Brit Intel arranged a coup, and installed the Shaw.
Why not just buy the oil, from the Iranians?
Apperently that would have cost more, or so they thought, at the time.
More broadly, we now know the U.S. has enough oul reserves to be energy dominant.
Why were American Oil companies exploiting oil around the world, instead of here at home?
Rather than modeling our Constitutional system (as established by the founders) and showing the World it really IS the best system, our Gov. has been bullying the World, and supporting tyrannists like the Shaw, or the Diem bros. in Vietnam..and then we wonder why they hate us?

Good question. There was a missionary up in Alaska during pipeline construction. He befriended an petroleum engineer that showed him the data that there is more oil in Alaska than Saudi Arabia.
He said plans were to build three 4 ft diameter pipelines to handle the oil. But the Government wanted to bankrupt and nationalize the oil companies involved.

By the point the US had developed the atomic bomb, it had practically defeated the Japanese navy, and was preparing for a marine invasion of Japan similar to Normandy. We would have invaded the homeland of a fanatical followers of a god-king Emperor, marched to Kyoto, and it would have been a certain bloodbath for both the Japanese and US military, as well as Japanese civilians who had not already been conscripted. They were literally down to women and elderly (why do you think Japan has such a population decline today? They sent most of their men to be murdered in the war)
The atomic bombs were a wake-up slap across Japan’s face. Your enemy has such a technological lead, they can wipe your entire culture off the map with no military losses. Of those who survived, a high percentage lost family members or suffered permanent disabilities.

A while back I was astounded to learn there were a small group of japanes that were originally from Nagasaki, but were living/working in Hiroshima, and that survived the bombing there.
Concluding that the “end was near” as they assumed the emperor would never surrender, and the U.S. had an unlimited # of such bombs, this group independently decided to go back home to be with their families, and took a 3 day train ride, arriving in Nagasaki only minutes before the second bomb went off.
Which, they ALSO survived! Can you imagine?

Roberts knows he can get away with this, though. He doesn’t stand for election, Congress isn’t going to impeach him (Republicans won’t even break the filibuster for ordinary legislation!), and it is very unlikely that Trump would ever flout a Supreme Court order.
In this environment, the Court is sovereign. It has near total control over the executive branch in domestic affairs. Watergate demonstrated this decisively. Judicial prerogative, de facto, trumps executive prerogative if the President is a populist or a conservative.
The only way out of this framework is through a unilateral decision by the President to explicitly ignore a Supreme Court ruling. That will be a huge public fight. I believe Trump could get away with this if he wanted, [I don’t – W] but it seems unlikely that he does.
Even if Trump bends the knee, this problem will remain: if the Supreme Court [and even just DISTRICT courts – W] is sovereign then elections are meaningless. [Which, by its “Rule of Law” efforts in other countries is exactly the goal of USAID aka CIA – W] Congress cannot legislate (because of the self-imposed filibuster) [AND their desire to obstruct Trump with the district courts THEY created and could reel in if they wanted…but they don’t – W] and the President is subordinate to the unelected Court. Because of civil service protections, he can only appoint 0.1% of federal government positions so the bureaucracy is untouchable too.
A neglectful Congress [NO, complicit, dummy; you’re only part way to being red pilled – W] sovereign judiciary, powerful bureaucracy, and weak President [Oh, you mean the one who almost had his head blown off? Merely a coincidence… – W] means the Swamp is immune from electoral control. If conservatives accepts this institutional arrangement there is nothing more to do or say.
There will never, under any circumstances, be any meaningful change in a system arranged like this. Only the President, acting unilaterally to seize back his due constitutional powers, can enact reforms. In order to do so, he must battle all of the other branches at the same time and bend them to his will.
Only all-out political war can result in a restoration of popular, elected government. The whole purpose of the post-1945 consensus was to eliminate any ability for the people to undo the administrative state through elections. The two attempts to do so–Nixon and Trump–came under intense literal assault from the institutions.
The problem, of course, is that this system, by its very construction, delegitimizes itself. Americans increasingly hate their own government because they see how much the ruling class hates them. It is parasitic, tyrannical, and treacherous. Open borders, endless foreign wars, vaccine mandates, lockdowns–there is a reason Trump keeps winning bigger and bigger majorities!
The hope of the Swamp is that the flood of migrants will eventually lock their power into place indefinitely and the founding stock of the country will simply capitulate and troon out or OD on fentanyl.
America needs a Tribune–a Champion of the People–against the corrupt elites who bleed the treasury dry. What else is there to hope for? Our options are to accept defeat or to find a champion. That’s it.

An Easter dinner out with family turned into a big embarrassment for Kristi Noem and the Secret Service, as a thief stole the Department of Homeland Security chief’s handbag and the big stack of cash and various other sensitive items it contained. At Monday’s Easter Egg Roll at the White House, Noem confirmed the theft but told NBC News, “I don’t think I can comment on it yet. It’s not resolved yet.”
The crime unfolded Sunday night as Noem was eating with her extended family at Darden Restaurants-owned Capital Burger on Seventh Street NW in Washington DC. When it was over, Noem was without her large “Gucci B” shoulder bag (some of which retail for $4,400), a $600 Louis Vitton Clemence Purse, and valuable contents that included roughly $3,000 in cash, her DHS badge, passport, driver’s license, credit cards, blank checks, medicine and apartment keys. “Her entire family was in town including her children and grandchildren,” DHS told the New York Times via email. “She was using the cash withdrawal to treat her family to dinner, activities and Easter gifts.”
A law enforcement source told the Post that a review of security camera footage captured a white man in an N-95 mask, dark pants, a “fur-type” collar and ball cap pulling off the crime. Around 7:55pm, he entered Capital Burger and headed up a few stairs to the area where Noem was dining. After sitting near her, he maneuvered his chair close to hers and surreptitiously used his foot to nudge her handbag toward him. A few minutes later, he picked it up, tucked it inside his jacket, walked out the door and down the street. Noem had just finished settling the tab when she felt something brush against her leg; at that moment, she thought it was a grandchild, sources told the New York Post.
Who carries $3k in their purse?

If I am traveling in a Midwest urban city, I would regularly carry $1k. In DC, $3k wouldn’t be too much. I do it in case there’s a power outage and cards won’t work – experienced it 2x for multipledays. In case I find a must buy 1 of a kind item- offering cash can get you a discount. Or to make a purchase, I don’t want a paper trail on. ie 2nd amendment related
