Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.

When fighting a war, I believe a top priority at the start is taking out the comms.
President Trump established that important “war tactic” right out of the gate when “branding” the enemy’s comms as “fake news” and “very fake news”.
Notice while trashing the “enemy” news, he was also sure to give high praise for those in the news who told the truth.
One of the best ways to control the news is by “owning” the microphone. President Trump has “owned” the micro phone for ten years straight. He influenced the news because he “is” the news.
Both sides covered him. Whether they hated him or loved him, they all covered him. One side lied, lied and lied some more. The other side told the truth and kept telling the truth.
I believe in the current phase of the war we find ourselves in, President Trump and the good guy team now completely control both sides of the news (total control, not just exerting influence) and are simply “putting on a show”. The show is being orchestrated in order for the masses to awaken to the depth of lies and depravity of the media and those the media has been lying for/covering up for.
Step back and look at it objectively. There is no course correction that can save the media and the ones they are protecting. Their doubling down on stupidity instead of pulling back should be seen as a bright shining light that they are headed for a big crash landing.
The only question that remains is who is steering that plane?

Tariffs are like many other government powers: sometimes you gain effect by applying them, and sometimes you gain effect by reducing or delaying them. Fundamentally, they are both a revenue source and a negotiating tool.
For example, I don’t necessarily agree that “Trump changed his mind because of the bond market.” He started by rolling out a detailed schedule of tariffs which was basically calculated as “50% of what we pay now.” Most nations responded immediately, in private talks, and he responded by altering but not eliminating the tariffs. I think that the entire operation was “as planned.” He also could anticipate that the most-important target, China, would not play along. And, so far, they haven’t.
The Slimes often cite sources it can’t name. This is one of the tells that it is fake news. MSM always in the bag for the globalist gobblins.

This time, the New York Times — and all other Fake News that repeat their garbage — are enthusiastically taking the grievances of disgruntled former employees as the sole sources for their article. They relied only on the words of people who were fired this week and appear to have a motive to sabotage the Secretary and the President’s agenda.
There was no classified information in any Signal chat, no matter how many ways they try to write the story. What is true is that the Office of the Secretary of Defense is continuing to become stronger and more efficient in executing President Trump’s agenda.
We’ve already achieved so much for the American warfighter, and will never back down.
Interesting, trying to resurrect a dormant story suggests a sense of desperation and possibly a recognition that the, ‘hug an MS-13 gang-banger’ tactic is backfiring badly on the DS’ political arm.

They aren’t desperate. They’re playing the game of delay and delay some more, block and block the policies of the administration, so the agenda of the American people via their elected President is thwarted. More likely they are working very hard out of the public eye to make sure they win the House and/or the Senate in the mid term cycle and then gear up for the next Presidential contest. They will be happy to do as much damage as they can to the Trump actions and to make him look as bad and inept as possible, as has been their usual m.o. The play now seems to be to continue to cause as much turmoil as possible and they are doing it with the most insane causes like the MS-13 issue.
IMO, The media is the key. If something can be done to stop their inflamed manipulations of every political story that comes out then maybe people can learn more of the truth and pay attention to it and fight the enemy with full knowledge about what that enemy is trying to do.
It could be, but it could also be a regime whose preparations for Trump II are dislocated because he did not follow their predicted path. They, being of smaller intellects but possessing huge egos, assumed that the Trump playbook would follow their own e.g. politicisation of institutions, who then focus on acts of retribution and revenge against political opponents. Their media allies had the scripts pre-written, like good leftist drones, ready to attack the wave of anticipated criminal investigations that the DOJ and FBI would unleash, that would provoke a 24/7 barrage of hyperbole to shift public opinion.

Agree, but I think Trump’s learned a lesson from his first Administration, popular support gives you space, whilst denying it to your opponents. As for the mid-terms, why will the Democrats win a majority in either house? If I was being uncharacteristically optimistic then the remaining years of this decade will be the last for the globo-liberal/techno-feudal, leftist experiment. I think that Francis accepted the Office at a turbulent time, and sought to bring reform. He was born in a culture far from Rome and brought that perspective to it. His actions and decisions were often and loudly criticized, but perhaps that is a good thing. As they say, “you are over the target.”
I think it fitting to note that, while your colleagues elect you, you must then accept it. Knowing as much as you can of what that actually entails. It is a brave decision.

Maybe it’s different where you live but I find that gun shows tend to be more expensive for new stuff and ammo. It’s possible to get some deals on used parts but I would never buy ammo there.
Shows are ok for a box or two of clearance stock, or some bags of plunking reloads.
But most serious gun enthusiasts who regularly shoot, except for SD rounds, either buy in thousand lots, or reload their own. And they rely on a drive to an ammo distributor, or the UPS truck.

You just have to find one.

As a Catholic, with the news that the pope has died, I am praying that his attempts to stack the college of cardinals with political allies fails and that they elect the next pope as God intends. The current pope was elected illegally, from my read of the situation (he was lobbied for, for example), and while he was not the first man, nor the worst, to be elevated to the position for the purposes of earthly politics, one might argue he has done the most damage to Catholicism.
I understand there are quite a few Protestants out there who hate us, or view us as evil, or think that the Church needs to cease to exist. But at the same time, the Catholic (and Orthodox) churches serve as an important link to the past. Every priest I know now is hard right; largely gone is the Boomer activism and deliberate communist infiltration of the priesthood from the 1960s that has caused so many problems. We need a renewal – the entire Christian world needs a renewal – and may this be the time that happens.
Some say that the Pope is the closest we have to an earthly “king of kings.” Most nations have embassies to the Vatican City.
In any case, the Office is one of God’s most unusual and direct servants. We may not see the likes of John Paul II for a long time, but we can hope for it. A man who understands and properly uses the powers of the Office can do much good.

A quiet battle is underway inside the Trump administration as establishment forces move to sideline key MAGA figures. Investigative journalist Laura Loomer reports that Chinese-linked NSC staffer Alex Wong and Senator Tom Cotton are working to oust Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Cotton, long rumored for a top defense post, is allegedly positioning himself to take Hegseth’s role.
Multiple pro-Trump Pentagon officials have already been escorted from the building. This appears to be a coordinated attempt to isolate Hegseth and reassert control from within.

The wildest Blue Anon type conspiracy was that Trump was going to invoke the Insurrection Act on 4/20 and declare Martial Law. The prime Russia Gate hoaxer Natasha Bertrand of CNN “reported” late Saturday that Noam and Hegseth pushed back, and Trump has decided not to do that “for now”.
The narrative is that a handful of some blue hairs and pink hairs that left the nursing home, got on a bus, to go to a “Hands Off” protest for a few hours on Saturday, that Trump is afraid of them. That Trump wants to outlaw protest.
They really believe this.
My guess is that 4/20 Blue Anon conspiracy was built and floated for weeks to try to invoke more protests over the weekend. They want to launch Summer of Love 2.0. That didn’t happen, so the cover story is that Naom and Hegseth resisted.
These people.are getting more and more insane and unhinged. It’s amusing yet kinda frightening at the same time. I want to laugh at it, but these are the same people that literally want us all dead. Mass mental illness.

“…Up to 27 million Soviet citizens – perhaps more – gave their lives in the epic struggle to defeat Nazi Germany and its fascist European allies, including Vichy France, Italy, Hungary, Finland and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Russia holds the honor of liberating Europe from the evil of fascism. By comparison, the other anti-fascist allies of the United States and Britain lost less than 5 per cent of the casualties that the Soviet citizens endured.
It is fitting that many international leaders are attending the Victory Day parade in Moscow this year. They include China’s Xi Jinping and India’s Narendra Modi.
Many others, however, will not be in Moscow, which is lamentable. The American President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer should be present to pay respects to the soldiers and civilians who sacrificed their lives. Deplorably, the toxic politics that have poisoned relations between Western states and Russia have rendered such participation impossible.
What is all the more appalling, however, is the explicit ban on European leaders attending the celebrations in Moscow.
This week, Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s Commissioner for Foreign Affairs, issued a warning that any politicians who went to Moscow would face severe consequences. Kallas, who was formerly the prime minister of the tiny Baltic state of Estonia, was appointed last year as the EU’s most senior official on foreign policy.
One of those defying orders is Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico. He rebuked Kallas for daring to tell him, as the leader of a sovereign nation, where and where not to go. He added: “I will go to Moscow to pay respects to thousands of Red Army soldiers who died liberating Slovakia.”
Fico was elected on a platform calling for friendly relations with Russia and an end to the NATO proxy war in Ukraine. He has consistently opposed sending more military aid to the Kiev regime. Last year, Fico survived an assassination attempt in which he was shot by a gunman motivated by pro-Ukraine politics…”
