I was largely more interested in reading the dissent by Justices Alito- joined by Justice Thomas.

Now I have a legal question: is the dissent a pathway for the Trump administration to now appeal this somehow?
The dissent, it sounds like to me, opens up enough problems with this ruling- that I don’t see how it can stand.

The very first thing they’ve said right off the bat in the top in line one is that it’s not clear if the court has jurisdiction.
It seems to me that if President Trump’s legal team can now prove the court doesn’t, then how can this stand?

And next: Chief Justice is doing quite a job at destroying the courts, like seriously.. the credibility and respect for the courts has been driven down the toilet because of Justice Roberts– who appears to be no more than a crook in a black robe.

What can be done next?

Time for the Chief Executive to give the middle finger to the SCOTUS who are clearly out of their lane. They can screw themselves. There is no other way. This is blatantly illegal and a superseding of Article 2 powers of the Office of the President. It’s over for Roberts and Barrett

If SCOTUS refused to weigh in on The Big Steal in 2020 due to “lack of standing” why are they weighing in on behalf of illegal alien invaders who really have “lack of standing” here in America?

What ‘standing’ does the ac loo have in the SC regarding prior illegal immigrations ?

Did the ac loo get a prior SC ruling / approval to allow illegal immigrations into the U.S. in 2021, 22, 23, 24? What written law allowed that to occur?

If not, what ‘standing’ would the ac loo have that would stop the illegal immigrations from being reversed in another direction – into other countries?

Maybe it was executive branch miss actions, that miss allowed (and facilitated) illegal immigrants into the U.S.

it may be executive branch actions – in accordance with written laws – that can allow (and facilitate) illegal immigrants going to other countries. There is legal precedence.

Those who have the goal of destroying President Trump and wrecking his presidency now seem to include a majority of the Supreme Court. I don’t believe a SCOTUS majority would issue such a ruling unless they were also assured of victory in the end. What I would like to know is what or who makes them so confident?

Anybody can say anything an that includes Supreme Court judges. Whether or not they have the power to enforce what they say is an entirely different question. Exactly what enforcement power does the Supreme Court possess? Who wields that power?

This “ruling” – really a diktat – is the last of the decloaking happening before our eyes. 7 justices on that court have no business anywhere near a legitimate government. What they had hoped was that they could pretend to be “conservative” issuing the occasional ruling here and there to keep people believing they might be okay. At least some of them.

But this is simply some very bad people decloaking to reveal their true selves. Anti-democratic. Anti-American. This is about as big of a middle finger at the voters as you’re ever likely to see. And it is a statement of sorts. “You can vote for whomever you choose. But WE ARE IN CONTROL NOT YOU.”

I’m having a hard timing coming up with reasons not to just call for the arrest of specific judges at this point. To call this lawless and madness is charity. They slam their gavel and whatever they say you have to do and you don’t even get to speak in your own defense? That is pure unvarnished tyranny.

The Supreme Court sat in silence when there was tons of physical proof of the fraud in 2020 yet refused to see any of it.
They also sat in silence when 15 to 30 million invaded this country in 4 yrs yet when PDJT want designated terrorist removed it full stop or one at a time per their permission.

I thought that it was Boasberg that determined in his ruling that there was a ‘class’ of aliens (TdA apparently??) when he ruled about turning the plane around, etc. I was actually somewhat surprised that Gorsuch was part of this latest SCOTUS ruling. Frankly, our judicial system is beyond corrupt at this point, and while Congress has no oversight over SCOTUS, they certainly do over these inferior courts. The president does not Answer to the Court. Neither does Congress. The Court does not Answer to either of those. All three stand apart with their stakes. The other two collectively, and the public at large, well, that’s the counter to it all.

So, if Executive ignores and Congress does not impeach/convict, then the Court is without an enforcer; i.e., the Court has a Will, but it has no Way.

Send the Federal Marshals in and rip those bums out of their robes and physically throw them out into the street!

Like Justice Alito, I too refuse “to join the court’s order because we had no good reason to think that, under the circumstances, issuing an order at midnight was necessary or appropriate.”

I think we, as a class, have sufficient reason to completely ignore this ruling since it ignores the Judiciaries own rules, processes, and procedures as well as the constitution of the United States. This administration should blow this up as loudly as possible, then proceed to spell out exactly why they are ignoring the ruling.

What happened in the middle of the night this weekend, was unelected Supreme Court Justices exercising a superior Judicial branch authority over the Executive branch and the lawfully elected President, who was acting WITHIN his Constitutional authority. It was a judicial Coup d’tat, sans the hammer and sickle posters and red flags, because they acted WITHOUT Constitutional authority to justify their edict. They did this in the middle of the night without explanation, as all tyrants do when seizing power.

For those still keeping score, with this Supreme Court edict, we’re now WAY past the “Constitutional Crisis” portion of the current drama.

This Solicitor General needs to be a superior wordsmith and possess a deep knowledge of constitutional to argue in front of the Supremes. This guy representing the “People” is totally incompetent should be relieved of his duties,

Has anyone polled the public with a specific questions:

Should the President ignore the courts and continue to deport illegals?

Have the courts usurped the constitutional authority of the President to conduct our foreign affairs?

In the interim, it’s time for the President to engage in Lawfare, starting with Roberts. I for one would love to see him perp walked out of the SC. The damage that he has done to this country is about on par with Obama.
