Finally, a Glimmer of Justice for the Russiagate Hoax
Mueller prosecutor Aaron Zelinsky has been called in for questioning by U.S. Attorney Ed Martin in what could be the first real move toward justice in the Russiagate hoax
For those of us who had nearly given up hope that there would ever be accountability—no matter how small—for the countless abuses and crimes associated with the Russiagate scandal, there is now a faint glimmer of hope. That glimmer comes in the form of a letter from U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ed Martin, to Aaron Zelinsky, a former member of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, instructing Zelinsky to submit to questioning about his role and that of the Mueller team in advancing the Russia collusion hoax.
Zelinsky was one of the lawyers on Mueller’s team who harassed, intimidated, pressured, and coerced individuals within President Donald Trump’s orbit in an effort to extract fabricated stories that could be used to falsely suggest Russia collusion and ultimately justify removing Trump from office during his first term. The specifics of the letter demanding Zelinsky’s interview pertain to his role in the prosecution of an ostensibly innocent man, George Papadopoulos, a foreign policy advisor for the Trump campaign in 2016 who was imprisoned as a result of the investigation.

I doubt there will be any justice because whatever crimes may be involved, the statute of limitations has run out.
You make a good point, but I’ve also seen an argument to the effect that, since efforts continue in an attempt to cover it all up, it could be considered an ongoing conspiracy, leaving the door open to prosecutions.

One dead after protests against KFC branches in Pakistan
Police in Pakistan have made dozens of arrests following a string of protests targeting KFC branches across the country which led to one man being killed.
Protesters, angry at the war in Gaza, have been urging a boycott of the chain, claiming it’s a symbol of the United States and its ally Israel.
At least 20 attempted attacks on KFC outlets have been recorded across the country in the past week, Pakistan’s Minister of State for the Interior Talal Chaudhry told the BBC.
Videos on social media show mobs armed with iron rods entering KFC stores and threatening to burn them down before police arrive to arrest protesters. In Karachi, two stores were set on fire.

That is, after all, why the scammers went to Ellison, whose office has nothing to do with the pandemic relief funding that was being stolen. The appeal to him is not based on his role in the bureaucracy, but on the political leverage he can bring to bear on bureaucrats who depend on his help.

Delta CEO Draws a Line: No Tariffs or No Planes, Says CEO Ed Bastian –
Delta Air Lines has weighed in on the debate surrounding the Trump Administration’s trade policies, deciding to take a hard stance and insisting it won’t pay any tariffs on any incoming Airbus aircraft.
With much of the economic world facing uncertainty over the effects of potential widespread tariffs imposed by the White House, aviation leaders have discussed the possible impacts on the industry. While some carriers, such as United Airlines, have suggested support for tariffs, others, like Delta, have taken a tougher view on them.
Speaking during the airline’s Q1 earnings call last week, Delta CEO Ed Bastian insisted the carrier will refuse to pay any potential tariffs imposed on its aircraft deliveries in 2025. Instead, he confirmed that Delta will defer any deliveries of incoming aircraft if they are charged tariffs on them.
Economic Implications for Delta
Any potential tariffs would likely hit Delta hard, considering it’s currently undergoing a significant refresh of its aging fleet. The Atlanta-based airline is awaiting delivery of 285 aircraft as of March 2025, according to its latest 10-Q filing.
All but 100 are from Airbus, which would be subject to tariffs as it is headquartered in France. Currently, a 10 percent tariff on all imports has been suspended until July 14.
Airbus Responds
Airbus itself has also commented on the evolving situation, suggesting that it would pass on the costs of any tariffs to its clients, which could potentially lead to a standoff with Delta. However, it’s not clear how the U.S. airline will successfully negotiate with the French supplier on aircraft already purchased should the tariffs go ahead.
“We’ve looked at plenty of scenarios of what could potentially happen,” said Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus. “In most cases, it’s very damaging to our U.S. customers.
