so maybe I’m a simpleton (probably am), but all this hub-bub about this El Salvadoran gang-banger being deported seems ridiculous to me. Was the guy not an illegal alien? If yes, then the story is over. He and the other 50M illegal aliens should be deported. The fact that he’s a gang-banger and a wife-beater seems like a side-show to me. Who cares? I agree. The hub bub created by the media is just that, hub bub. It seems two reasons for it. One, to place negative reactions towards Pres. Trump as is their usual m.o. and two, to try and influence voters for the mid terms. I can tell you , as a matter of black letter law, Harvard has broken the law on disclosure of foreign donations. There was law passed late 70’s some time that is very clear on what information universities are required to disclose and Harvard and others have broken the law. Period full stop. When Judges Become Prosecutors: The Curious Case of Judge Boasberg
Let us begin with the most fundamental problem: Judge Boasberg should not have had this case in the first place. The class action challenge, filed by five Venezuelan men detained for removal under President Trump’s invocation of the Alien Enemies Act, should have been litigated in the jurisdictions where the plaintiffs were physically held. This is not a matter of procedural nicety. It is a matter of jurisdiction. The Supreme Court made this point abundantly clear in its 5-4 decision on April 7, 2025, effectively vacating Boasberg’s preliminary injunctions. The Court ruled that the District of Columbia was not the proper venue. That should have ended the matter. Yet, remarkably, Boasberg refused to acknowledge the decision as anything more than a temporal inconvenience.
Nine days later, on April 16, Boasberg struck again. Citing the original injunctions as binding at the time of the flights, he found probable cause to hold DOJ officials in criminal contempt. That decision, even if technically permissible within the narrow confines of Rule 42 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, was nevertheless legally indefensible and constitutionally grotesque. His injunctions had been vacated. His jurisdiction disclaimed. His findings rebuked. And yet he now threatens prosecution? One begins to wonder whether this is a legal proceeding or a one-man vendetta dressed in black robes.

Interesting information and I had heard of some of the Trayvon Martin incident and Bondi being involved but not to this extent.

If all this is preventing her from doing her job of cleaning out the DOJ, if she’s this compromised, then something is majorly wrong here.
Why would the Pres. keep her in her job? There seems to be a gap here on what we know and why she’s been appointed to a major position in the Trump administration. Is there anything we the people know that’s actually the truth? I’m beginning to think that would be a hard “ no.” How do we trust even the President if this kind of messed up hiring is continued?
My firm inclination was to have patience with these newly appointed people in the Trump administration having time to manage very complex jobs that they just started. However, this kind of damning evidence is going to begin to change my thoughts on all of them and on where this administration is really going. We need more clarity on what’s going on here.
