I have been asking a lot of “Why?” questions lately. Been even thinking I’ve been cursed. Thinking a lot on God and His conversation with satan… “Have you considered my servant, Job?”
Did God do that to me?
From my prayer and meditative time today, I have the following:
Father God,
You know all things. You Are The Maker of heaven and earth. You Are The Giver of life and You Control death.
You know I am seeking.
What have I done to deserve such cursing?
An Answer came to me:
Not praying to bless my enemies. I curse them with my lips and my heart and mind. I am teaching my daughter to do the same. (We are in a state of constant grumbles and complaining.)
The Answer continues:
Christ died for all of these. Christ lived, was scorned, was abused and lashed, for the least of these. Yes, these people persecute you, but He died for these, too. His lasting words on the cross were, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” Christ showed compassion in His final moments. (None has suffered more than Him.)
This throwing back and forth of curses is not how Spiritual battles are won.
“Vengeance is Mine; I will repay”, saith The Lord. (Romans 12:19-20 NIV)
Luke 6:45 NIV
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Father God,
Help me to earn Your Forgiveness. Help me to make amends. Lead me and guide me to Your Heart and Your Way which is everlasting. Help me to be worthy to be called Your child.

Christianity is not for the weak nor faint of heart (lacking the courage to face something difficult or dangerous). We are called to obey, not to question, not to make excuses, but to obey. What an incredibly convicting message for me today. I need to be still in my grumblings and I need to REJOICE IN HIM THROUGH WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW.
Who am I to question? Is God Worthy of our belief? You bet HE IS! Can we trust Him in all things – good and bad – YES, for He Works all thing for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His Purpose. Romans 8:28. That is “all” things.
I hope these words bless you today, as they are blessing me. For The Lord loves those Whom He Corrects. I need correction and He Is a dutiful Father Who Is Willing.

FORGIVE ME, LORD
Your commands are simple – but hard to keep;
For falling short of your precepts – I weep;
For the consequence of sin is surely death;
Separation from You – gasping for breath!
What have I done – what is missing from me?

Therefore it’s important – prudent for he;
To repent, reconcile and – be holy!
The Bible tells us – do pray unceasingly;
Keep God in your heart – ever increasingly;
Be mindful and watchful of what you do;
Say – defray – don’t delay – He wants you!
Do you think for a moment salvation is free?
Do you think God offers it unconditionally?
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, paid the ransom for sin;
Your sins are forgiven – to let you back in!
When you entertain demons – devils defy;
Your soul is in jeopardy – can you see why?
The Spirit lives not in a temple defiled;
With no inspiration – you are beguiled!
A devil comes in all shapes and sizes;
Temptation is simple – he so devises;
There are deadly sins – yes – seven in all;
That sneak up on you – like a plague befall!
Just when you think all is going quite well;
That pesky devil lures you to hell;
Watch your back – your tongue – be ever prayerful;
Repent seven times – and please be careful!
Be slow to anger and quick to forgive;
Put on your armor – continue to live;
With faith and through grace under protection;
Pass all your tests and do pass inspection!
Forgive Me, Lord – for I have failed again;
Alas, I’m not perfect – like You – Amen;
Please heal me – reveal me – refresh me anew;
Remain by Your side – ever faithful to You!
