There’s about nine Angleton documents that became public yesterday and if you read those documents in conjunction with Lee Harvey Oswald’s CIA file and documents released in recent years you see this pattern of malfeasance around CIA operations around Oswald that have never been explained.
Who is James Angleton?
He was The Counter Intelligence chief of the CIA and his testimony emerged yesterday. He testified to Congressional Authority in the 1970s, to a couple of committees in closed door testimony. So, this executive session testimony has become public for the first time.
What exactly did he say?
What Angleton said to the committee was that he had relied on Israeli emigres to build his own intelligence empire and one of the people who he deployed to monitor and surveil Oswald was probably one of these Israeli agents. It’s not clear yet, but it seems like the the evidence in this new testimony strongly suggests that that Angleton recruited Oswald as a source or a contact. It’s indisputable that he kept him under surveillance for four years from 1959 to 1963. These new documents point to an Israeli connection using an Israeli agent to monitor Oswald. You know, Bill Angleton had 180 pages on Lee Harvey Oswald on his desk a week before Kennedy went to Dallas. That fact alone has only emerged in recent years, received no news coverage and is really an extraordinarily important part of the story. What the new documents raise is was the CIA atrociously incompetent when it came to the alleged lone gunman or was Angleton actually running a Counter Intelligence operation involving him and I believe it’s the latter.
Lee Harvey Oswald had nothing to do with the assassination. Oliver Stone read it correctly and simply observed: “Who had the means, and the motive, and the ability to cover it up?” LBJ intended to kill two of his hated political enemies in the same car at the same time. But the mandate to “don’t touch Jackie!” wound up saving the Governor’s life.

The Golden State’s blanket ban on ammunition magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds is constitutional, a federal appeals court ruled on Thursday.
A divided en banc panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld California’s ban on so-called large-capacity magazines. The court split 7-4, with the majority holding that the types of magazines covered under the ban do not count as “arms” under the Second Amendment.
“Large-capacity magazines are optional accessories to firearms, and firearms operate as intended without a large-capacity magazine,” Judge Susan Graber wrote in Duncan v. Bonta. “A large-capacity magazine is thus an accessory or accoutrement, not an ‘Arm’ in itself. Possession of a large-capacity magazine therefore falls outside the text of the Second Amendment.”
Wrong. The Second Amendment knows full well what “an arm” is, and it was written at a time when “an arm” was: a musket.
Likewise, the Second Amendment never discussed the various “accessories or accoutrements” of “a musket,” such as the ram-rod.
“A firearm is a firearm,” no matter what is attached to it.
And, I will assure you of this: if you seek to limit the number of bullets in a weapon to “ten rounds,” you will soon find the dead bodies of innocent citizens with twenty bullets in them.

My own view is that taxpayers should NOT be funding universities, especially in light of the trust funds many of them have that number in the billions of dollars. Hopefully this is an area the DOGE takes a good look at (grants and other funding to colleges).

This morning, the DOD released an updated policy on people with gender dysphoria who serve in the military, and then the DOJ filed a motion to dissolve the preliminary injunction and a stay pending appeal. Judge Reyes called for an immediate hearing. Judge Reyes is ranting at the DOJ attorneys, as in the previous hearings. The attorney appearing on behalf of the DOD is a bit feistier than the previous attorney, as one point responding, “I understand your honor would run the military differently.”
