The ghost towns from the loss of textiles and furniture in my state are inumerable and sad to see.

Yes, I used the word sad in a meaningful way. My husband and I moved to NC 25 years ago. In exploring the state over that period of time, we have driven through so many of these ghost towns. It gives you such feelings of despair.
The remnants of the hollowed out factories were once architecturally significant structures. Their vast sizes tell you how many people, families and related businesses were destroyed.
Even visiting places like Concord Mills shopping mall is not uplifting, considering what it used to be.

I used to live in a small town in Arkansas called Pocahontas. They had a few manufacturing companies that kept the town going. The politicians in DC shipped that manufacturing to China. The population has remained the same since the 80s.
We are celebrating in my small rural town of <5000 people. Our aluminum factory almost went bankrupt in 2024 but it is making a rebound with P. Trump.
Very familiar with this. My late husband worked for Broyhill. Use to go with him to furniture markets in Lenoir. The Green Park Inn was fabulous. Life was good then. Sorry he’s not alive to learn about this.
There was also something of a furniture manufacturing industry at one time in Gardner, Massachusetts.

When I grew up in coastal NC, Hickory was the furniture capital and Kanapolis was the textile capital of the US.
It would be appropriate to see a resurgence of excellence of those two industries in NC.

The President alone is charged to exercise his Office as he sees fit. “Plaintiffs,” who don’t approve of what he’s doing, cannot come before a judge who doesn’t like what he’s is doing either, and thereby derail him. Such power does not Constitutionally exist: long ago, courts simply assumed it, and no one challenged them at the time. The repeated actions of these judges will force this confrontation.

I think the answer to 129 legal challenges is to go to court and litigate the 129 legal challenges. It is better to defeat them by winning, than by finding some way around. It will put a stop to the shenanigans in the future as well as the present.
Congress can and should strip these judges of their jurisdiction. See my above post.
I have suggested Congress can dissolve the DC District bench, and it ought to do that, or move it to South Dakota. But looked at from another angle, President Trump won a hard-fought election to earn the right to litigate these legal challenges. He may desire to seize the opportunity to do so.
Some of us have been calling for the dissolution of the DC courts for a long time now.
Put the process of the punishment on the other jackboot, and make the Feds prosecute their victims in the state and district where they live, minimizing disruption to their lives, and diluting the force, and the enthusiasm, of the Feds, for prosecutorial adventurism.

DOE was established as an agency by Congress. They will have to end it.
They did it with no…ZERO…lawful, constitutional authority to address matters respecting the subject of “education”. True, they can end it, but it can also be ended by the President. In fact, he has the duty – by his Oath – to abolish it.
Retired Magistrate here: Yes, the DOE was established by an act of Congress. It was split off from the Department of Health, Education and Welfare in 1979 into a separate agency. However, the Department of Education does fall under the purview of the Executive Branch.
So yes I can see a lawsuit being filed immediately to determine if President Trump has the authority as the Chief Executive Officer to terminate the Department which was created by an act of Congress and signed into law by President Carter. I believe that President Trump knows this; however, this was one of his campaign promises. He knows most citizens are in agreement with termination of the Department of Education so he is willing to see where this ends up.

Respectfully … people need to learn that the States and their LOCAL Governments HAVE BEEN in charge of Education, Welfare, Medicaid and any State Specific Project you can name.
The States, through their representatives in CONGRESS submit their FEDERAL BUDGET needs, which in turn are authorized and approved by CONGRESS as well as signed by the President. The spending authorizations are packaged as STATE GRANTS and sent to the State Governments to be spent, distributed or diverted, per the rules and authority that come with the State Grant.
ALL that Federal Agencies like; DOE, FEMA, EPA, and others do, is ADD REGULATIONS which must be obeyed. That means wasting money and time to comply. For the past 20+ years what have any of these agencies provided but rules that waste money and time with disastrous results that keep getting worse??? Those agencies are NOT needed as laws already exist to provide the cover the new regulations add and the coordination as well as funding distribution functions can be allotted to another Cabinet Office saving the cost of having some full blown entity that exists to give some “redundant-self important” schmuck a fancy desk.
Time for “people” to start learning what is happening and demand performance from the Government Agencies that have been RESPONSIBLE … the State and Local Governments. That is where the money and implementation occurs. Too bad for the 30% who always be butt hurt from the “Left”, they never get enough anyway.

The States Already control the money that comes from the Federal government as part of their Federal Grant Packages, Authorized by Congress.
This actually REMOVES a layer of harmful regulations as well as removes a removes a layer of regulators … that already exist.

IMO, this is incorrect analysis. My property taxes are mine. And if I pay them and get them back to send my kids to the school of my choice…that’s a great thing. It makes schools compete for my tax dollars. Another great thing. If I’m in an area where the school sucks, I can use the voucher to move my kids to a better school. That’s not a perfect solution as transportation issues arise. But I’d prefer to have the option, then not. Lastly (for the moment), teacher unions hate vouchers. I am almost reflexively against teacher unions. They care about teachers, not kids (read that again: I said unions, not teachers).

The problem is that this is not “government” money, it is taxpayer money. It comes from the horrendously high property taxes we pay, the biggest part of which is for the local ISD. People just want to be able to decide where “their” tax money goes. I don’t have kids in school anymore, why am I still paying for it?
The argument that vouchers are just “to help Gov. Abbott’s rich friends send their kids to private school on the taxpayers dime” is ridiculous, that is not what he is doing. This argument comes from the public school administrations (my wife is a public school teacher).
Vouchers are not the solution, but can be a part of the solution. The money has to come from somewhere. I remember that when they passed the Lotto in Texas that it was supposed to fund the public schools. I fear it became a black hole for money.

I wasn’t sure anything would be worthwhile in these files, as it seemed like any real documents alleging CIA or government involvement would have been burned long ago.
The new JFK files document set (63,400 pages) were released on Mar 18, 2025, to remove past redactions, but so far, they show no significant bombshells. Scholars are still reviewing all of the documents, but at this point, no “smoking gun” is expected.
However, the heavily classified documents are still being identified, copied and distributed. So, there is a lot we have yet to learn.
Furthermore, DNI Gabbard has stated that the more heavily sealed documents have yet to be released. More will be forthcoming.

This is not discretionary and the court cannot assess a “de-minimus” security amount either; it must be defensible predicated on the costs and damages that the other party may or will suffer with the evidence of same in the order itself if the injunction or TRO issues until disposition of the case and the posting of said security has to be completed before the TRO or injunction is valid.

Like I said recently, Trump is scared of having conservatives in Canada. He’d much rather deal with the only party he’s ever dealt with before.

The bizarre error will now call into question the validity of his ruling Tuesday, which even seeks to reopen building access for dismissed USAID employees.

Chuang, who serves on the Federal District Court of Maryland bench and was appointed by former President Barack Obama, claims that Congress created USAID and, therefore, it cannot be shut down solely through presidential authority. The process of weaponizing these agencies against the American people began decades ago and there have been many casualties along the way. When they went after Trump the way they did in 2016, they exposed themselves for the world to see. Question now is, whatcha gonna do about it?
Bondi and Patel are, on-paper, leading teams of DOJ and FBI that hate them and hate the boss even more. It’s not a few thousand of them. It’s endless thousands of them. Strong leaders can fix this sort of thing, but it takes guts and courage and you also have to be kinda smart and have a strong inner-circle. I know it’s very early but I just don’t see that in Bondi or Patel. If they were capable of remaking these agencies in short-order, the GOP Senate would have never confirmed either of them. Recall what the GOP Senate is all about. It protects the deep-state above all else.
I’m betting both of these folks are just gonna “Bill Barr” Trump for as long as they can. This kills lots of valuable time and gets us closer to a democrat controlled House and Senate. Strange Ukraine tidbit. I work for a small company in the US that manufactures specialized equipment for the natural gas industry. We just received a request to quote a large number of systems in Ukraine. The nature of these would require them be placed at different sites on natural gas pipelines, and it’s the sheer number of systems that’s interesting. It speaks of a large scale infrastructure development.
The requesting organization appears to be the official natural gas pipeline company of Ukraine (monopoly). The request was sufficiently detailed to appear to be legitimate, and followup conversations also appear to be legitimate.

Problem: Since funds today are largely digital there are no counterfeit serial numbers that can be traced and removed from circulation. If this has happened the entire integrity of the US Government’s financing has been destroyed; there is no way to know the full scope of that destruction because of course those funds are in circulation.

Whenever you read or hear, “the CIA killed JFK,” think ‘James Angleton, top Israel man in the CIA.
From 1951-1974, Angleton was the CIA’s head of the Israel desk. For that entire time, he was the *ONLY* US intelligence official authorized to talk to the Israelis. And he did it largely without any oversight or accountability to ANYONE.
From 1953-1974, Angleton was head of CIA Counterintelligence. He was infamous for “running a CIA inside the CIA.” When JFK fired CIA Director Allen Dulles in 1961, Angleton became unsupervised until he was ousted in 1974. He was known for constantly hunting moles–but never finding any (I wonder why?).
Under Angleton’s watchful eye, Israel invaded Egypt in 1956 after Angleton had personally assured the CIA director that no such attack was being planned. Later, Israel successfully attacked and covered up its attack on the USS Liberty during the 6-Day War (also supported by US Intelligence). Also under his tenure, Israel stole nuclear secrets, technology & enriched uranium from the US for over a decade. The infamous alleged visit of Lee Harvey Oswald to Mexico City, connecting LHO to the KGB, was likely performed by a body double and orchestrated by Angleton as part of the ruse to set up Oswald as the JFK patsy.
During the Warren Commission, Angleton exercised considerable control over documents he provided, and when/how he provided them, to the investigation.
Angleton left behind 40 secret vaults that had to be drilled open. It took the CIA 3 years to sort & catalog their contents. It took another 6 years for a report to be written, summarizing the findings. This report fills 12 legal-sized volumes & has never been released.
During his reign, Angleton made dozens, perhaps more than a hundred trips to Israel. And was friends with all sorts of powerful Israelis, including Teddy Kollek–the first mayor of Jerusalem–and Yitzhak Rabin, eventual Prime Minister of Israel.
When Angleton died in 1987, the Israelis held a special tree-planting memorial service (memorial plaque pictured below) for him attended by the following notable figures: then Defense Minister Yitzhak Rabin (who was in Dallas the day JFK was shot); the then current heads of the Mossad & Shin Bet; former Mossad chiefs Meir Amit, LARPing as a cowboy), Zvi Zamir & Yitzhak Hofi; former Shin Bet Chiefs Avraham Ahituv & Amos Manor; and former Military Intelligence chiefs Aharon Yariv, Shlomo Gazit & Binyamin Gibli.
Angleton biographer Jefferson Morley asserted that Angleton “was a leading architect of America’s strategic relationship with Israel that endures and dominates the region to this day. Angleton’s influence on US-Israeli relations between 1951 and 1974 exceeded that of any Secretary of State, with the possible exception of Henry Kissinger. His influence was largely unseen by congress, the press, and much of the CIA itself.”
At the previously-mentioned memorial service, Rabin remarked that Angleton “was a friend you could trust on a personal basis.” TELL THAT TO JFK AND AMERICA! The CIA didn’t kill Kennedy–Israel did, with the help of its compromised sycophant James Jesus Angleton.
Well, to show fidelity to the facts, there is no proof that Israel killed JFK, but Angleton was most definitely a double agent.
And this is the problem because most of the information on Angleton has either been redacted, or has been classified and never released.

Sounds a lot like “The Romans killed Jesus.”
What motivation would Israel have to kill Kennedy? I’m not denying they worked closely with the CIA, because they did, especially the attack on the Liberty.
Israel was definitely not driving the CIA, they were more of a pawn.
But the CIA certainly was more motivated since Kennedy vowed “to splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds.”
