In the aftermath of the DOJ manipulating the FISA court to attack President Trump, Chief Justice Roberts needed Boasberg to protect the FISC. As a result, Boasberg sat at the epicenter of some of the worst DC judicial decisions ever. Including the precedent of forcing VP Mike Pence to testify in a grand jury against the accused, President Donald Trump.
Simultaneously, Boasberg did everything he could to fulfill his commitment to Roberts, even appointing Mary McCord, wife of Roberts’ senior staff Sheldon Snook, to be amicus to the court. {GO DEEP}
Yes, Roberts will protect Boasberg, because Boasberg -who Roberts appointed to be presiding judge of the FISC- has major leverage over Roberts.
Boasberg has assembled his shields over years, and CTH has outlined every step. The brutally obvious began surfacing when Boasberg appointed *Mary McCord as amicus to the FISC.

But I honestly believe with what has been occurring with strip mall judges obviously using their power to impede President Trump in his constitutionally delineated duties, Sundance’s throwing sunlight all over Boasberg and his relationship with Roberts and his dishonourable judicial conduct, and too many receipts discovered by citizen journalists who have done extensive background checking on these district judges whose own (or ther families’) connections to corruption are shocking, we can say we have arrived.

The President has plenary power over Security Clearances whereas the SSCI power in only recommends the granting or withholding Clearances, the Presidents powers override the SSCI. President Trump should revoke the Security Clearances of all the Federal Judges who he considers a problem thus removing them from FISA Court and all cases involving National Security.

Then Rehnquist submitted his retirement, so Bush moved Roberts’ nomination to be for CJ, and nominated Alito to replace O’Connor.

Let’s not forget Obamacare, the law clearly violated the interstate commerce laws. Obama publicly threated Roberts saying go ahead and reject it and see what happens. Many, myself included thought the deep state had something on Roberts. He changed it to a tax, something the constitution does not allow
For the purposes of the Anti-Injunction Act, it was not a tax. (The Act says you cannot challenge a tax until you have paid it; then you sue for a refund). But for the purpose of constitutionality, he found it to be a tax, and the authority in the taxing clause, not the commerce clause.
The SCOTUS does not have the Constitutional authority to declare a new tax.
That power resides solely within the House.
The Senate cannot propose a new tax, then have the House vote on it to say it “originated within the House”. The President cannot arbitrarily declare a new tax upon the people directly – he may impose tariffs on other countries shipping goods here the people have a choice to buy or not.
SCOTUS cannot simply declare something to be a tax, that wasn’t a tax prior to the SCOTUS ruling.
That’s the whole thing that was so unconstitutional about ObamaCare – the bill that passed had a Senate origin, not a House origin, and when taken to SCOTUS, Roberts could not wait to convert the provision into a new tax.
Both of these are unconstitutional.
Then Roberts should have been impeached back then for Obamacare.

There will be more paid chaos in blue states and cities but they don’t have as many ‘volunteers’ as you would like to think. People investigating the activists find lots of the same faces at violent demonstrations across the country. They have teams, not armies. They are nowhere near as powerful as they want us to think.

We should hold those entrusted with upholding the law accountable. Instead, we grant them permanent positions—much like the Catholic Church appoints a pope—along with impenetrable immunity, while absolving ourselves of personal responsibility.
Wrong: There is no point in continuing to glorify the rule of law,™ while ignoring its evident breakdown in practice.
The rule of law is a social convention, not a natural force sustained by its own righteousness. If one side of the political spectrum ceases to uphold this convention, it ceases to exist altogether.
If those who interpret and apply the law do not believe in and live out the values it embodies, the paper itself completely loses its meaning.
The power of the permanent bureaucracy that Roberts and federal judiciary protect is concealed within a nameless, faceless, and ever-changing process that cannot be held accountable.
It is what happens when we pretend the responsibility to guard and enforce our values can be delegated to a system known as the rule of law.
It is a fatal error to idolize warm-sounding ideals disconnected from political reality.

Roberts said the “normal” process needs to play out. How many district judges issued TROs against Obribem? If the process is so “normal” the 2 Trump administrations shouldn’t stand out like sore thumbs. The d-rat working theory would be that that’s because only Trump does unConstitutional things. Seems most, if not all, of this ends with ‘Obama’s judge. Perhaps its time to cut the head off the snake and shut down Obama. From there work down the body until there’s nothing left but the rattles of a dying serpent.

How typical that the silent bias slithers into the 1st paragraph of this article. On one hand we have “Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts” and on the other we have just “Trump”.
How about; “The President and Commander in Chief of the United States of America Donald J. Trump” vs “just some guy named Roberts”?
Judges have immunity for “judicial decisions” they have jurisdiction over. Steven Miller made it clear that that Boasberg does not have jurisdiction for his order. Judicial ruling without jurisdiction are not only impeachable but should have immediate judicial oversight/discipline. Judges can be disbarred for this behavior. Orders are null and void without jurisdiction. No jurisdiction = no immunity = impeachable. Robert only comment should be on jurisdiction and judicial discipline. He has no business in political discussion on the legislative oversight of the judiciary. He will need to recuse himself on oversight of Boasberg as he has already placed weight on the scales of Justice and removed the blind.
I don’t recall Roberts having any problem with impeaching President Trump over political differences.
Bush appointed Roberts. I would wager that Bush and Roberts have the same opinion of Trump and it ain’t good.
