Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years

Most Canadians have wanted secure borders for sometime, so P Trump’s demands were originally welcome to many but then hyperbole and other definite intentions took over. Canada has ramped up its border surveillance via helicopters etc but the accusations continue without any recognition of any improvements. What is next? Canada must build an 8, 889 km ( 5,524.6 mile) long border wall? Not whining—just confused what the end goal is. P Trump should be more specific but the new PM will just agitate back to continue the madness.
Trump’s recent trade actions are the worst ever example of election interference between the 2 countries. It sidelined the popular Conservative leader who would have ensured the border was secure and instead boosted the New Lib PM Carney who was anointed on a more vicious anti Trump position than Trudeau. Dislike of Trump erased all CPC gains and any mention of Trudeau’s numerous blunders and harmful policies that Poilievre had made exposing the Liberals. Thanks to Trump’s “emergency intervention” the election outcome is now uncertain. Carney is a climate nut who actually said in his acceptance speech that “Poilievre will let the world burn” with his economic policies. Trump might have ensured a WEF, climate doom promoter will now oppose him. Trump will have more fun ridiculing and agitating him but it will not lead to a calmer, wiser relationship with Canada.

I disagree. I think it is a trade war, and to me, that’s a better selling point to the public. We’re getting charged ridiculous tariffs on certain products, and Canada acts like they’re the victim. Even Trump’s circle has said as much. I just watched Peter Navarro recently, and he was going through the list of tariffs on Canada and how unfair it is.
Well, PDJT and Howard Lutnick are going to the media framing the conflict as “drugs coming over the border”. This may be phase one in their PR outreach to get people used to what tariffs can do. This is training all of the nations who have ripped off the USA for decades to understand that their financial abuse of the USA is ending.

Where I live, our logs goes over the border to canada and then comes as finished lumber. We have been tired of the BS for years. I buy locally from a small mill, usually non-kilned since I am not using it in the house for framing. They do have a small kiln, and have even supplied wood for whole houses being built. I also get “flats” from their yard for free. After letting it “age” for four years, it makes create fire starter or just a quick fire when you need to take the chill out of the house. This way the hard wood isn’t wasted and used only when it is cold.

Where I live they have closed the saw mills yet they still cut down trees, lots of trees. The trees are trucked to shipping terminals, loaded up on ships and then sent overseas. The only domestic processing done to the logs is to strip them of their bark. They do come back as finished goods and a lot of those goods you have to assemble yourself.

Came in 101 inch sticks that we would cut, split, stack. Became a partime job killing most weekends from mid Sept to late Oct. Propane costs a little less than $400 during the 3 cold months. Oak cost a little more. It was a waste of wood for me to buy oak for my outside boiler. I would get coals 2 feet deep, but that wasn’t capable of warming the house to 70 degrees when outside temp was -20F or lower.

Elon Musk changed the voter roll fraud landscape – forever – doing more to clean voter rolls than the work of election integrity groups for the last 40 years.
Elon made cleaning voter rolls a multi-database effort – which is the ONLY way to do it – and we should all be grateful for his efforts.
Voter rolls are not being cleaned by Secretaries of State – at least not in a meaningful way.
Sure, states like Texas publish they removed a million voters from their 16 million voter list – but those are mostly maintenance deletions.

The real way to see what’s going on in voter rolls is with multi-dimensional data analysis – economically impossible with the technology states and voter integrity orgs use.
For instance, states do not do “temporal analysis,” discovering the woman who voted from the same address for 15 years, and it is a fraternity house.
Multiply that by colleges, missions, shelters, churches, Job Corps Centers and a score of other transient locations and you see why every state in America has voter roll anomalies exceeding 8%. Many approach 20%.
So why not change that?

Compare the list of agency employees with email log on files. Oh, look, these thousands of employees haven’t logged on to their email for a month?
Sort the Social Security database by age and inquire why so many 120 year olds were cashing their checks.
Compare the IRS 990s with the GovSpend database and see how much dough is being given to NGOs to encourage illegal aliens.
Musk introduced the concept of auditing government databases via contrast – that is by comparing databases to get context.
