Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

We sure are..just yesterday at a our local “dog park” I was introduced to a seemingly decent and by his admission conservative voting individual.
The he mentioned “ Trump” and how nasty and racist etc he was, and how he was hurting Canada.
So as per usual I quietly discussed Herschel Walker, Mike Tyson, Tyrus ( the ex wrestler on faux’s Gutfeld)
He trashed them all with venom..
I stepped it up a gear and mentioned Dr Ben Carson and his incredible history and relationship with President Trump.
He “ blew a gasket” and called anything President Trump had to do with that a photo op.
The “nutjob” then went on a J6 rant.
Keep in mind this park is located in a wealthy area where average home prices are 2 million or so, and many of its users ( not the dogs 😉) vacation in Maui, or Palm Springs.
Sadly my immaturity kicked in and I didn’t relent until he wandered out of the park.

Boy did wishful thinking ever deceive me. I hadn’t seen extensive news on the “relaxed or delayed tariffs on Canada” when I glowingly commented on P Trump in a previous article.
Nothing has really changed. The economic chaos continues. My glowing comments of P Trump were genuine at the time but based on incomplete info in the article. It felt great for a short time to believe that Canada and the USA were going to become friendlier again and negotiate fairly within the USMCA rather than impose EO’s. Why was P Trump’s main concern Fentanyl not even mentioned at all during this WH pause announcement.
Canada’s economic minister claims Canada can totally remove $200 Billion of trade with the USA just by trading interprovincially or east to west in Canada rather than south to our former friend, the USA. 200 $Billion is a large amount for Canada if it’s true but some American companies will be marginally affected with lost business.
I hate letdowns but I’ve been through far worse like everyone else here. Maybe one day, our 2 countries can heal relations but it will be a slow process if it ever becomes possible again. The constant uncertainty with strict pronouncements, then alleged pauses and so on ensure distrust and revulsion. When friends act like this, friendships are usually over forever.

That was going to happen as the Conservatives forced Trudeau to announce his resignation over an added 6 % green tax on Canadians. But ALL of the issues that led to the Conservative lead were cast aside by P Trump’s actions and the issues are now concentrated in the anger and chaos caused by tariff threats, short pauses, worse tariff threats and so on. The Liberals are still the sitting gov’t and they can announce actual policies etc and their PM and Cabinet can perform on and dominate all the news cycles while opposition leader Poilievre can only make suggestions from the sidelines with zero power or influence. P Trump singlehandedly altered the Canadian election and marginalized the Conservative party during this trade war.
I know a few CBSA people and Canada has made a serious effort on the border but it’s just ignored by Trump.

I see VSG PDJT mocking the administration of Canada resulting with the Canadians growing up to become a more independent self sufficient nation or recognizing their vulnerability and dependence on England, or China, or the US, and deciding collectively who they will align with .
President Trumps actions to Canada are like saying to a 22 year old, “OK, time to grow up and start paying rent, get a job, buy your own stuff. We are not supporting you any more. You are acting like an economically dependent child with us, and we are not going to do it any more. You know better. Get a life.”
Canada, you can become a responsible State with us and share in our federal funds and governance, or you can become a free and independent nation. But we’re not going to let you pretend you are free and independent nation while you are dependent on us like a 10 year old.

It appears that we live in the same province but I have been one of the few in my sphere (maybe smaller than yours) that liked P Trump and his MAGA policies since 2015. Some tolerated my opinion when I was countering the hoaxes etc but others were repulsed.
I don’t disagree with any of your complaints about Trudeau. It’s debatable which of us dislikes him and his past actions more. But thanks to Trump’s harsh rhetoric and tariff threats, amateur Shakespearean actor Justin has been able to recover from the humiliations and embarrassing losses during the QP policy debates etc. with Poilievre. He is back to his favorite acting roles of standing up to Canada’s enemies and playing the courageous saint Justin against the “evil” job bandit Trump. The Liberals have regained votes because Poilievre has been largely sidelined. No Question Period and no parliamentary discussions at all. Only what the Trudeau MSM decides to report and its always favorable to Trudeau.
Trump has delayed the supposedly “existential emergency tariffs” once again, so why didn’t he respect the Canadian election up to now and not even mentioned tariffs so Trudeau would not have had the chance to reclaim his glory to some voters by “bravely and doggedly” standing up to the “tariff bully.” Who is orchestrating this “trade election interference charade” that has greatly benefitted the Liberals–but hopefully not enough to win the election–it’s a toss up.
As a Canadian, I am compelled to support all actions that will help end this tariff debacle. I noticed that one of my wildest suggestions is being seriously considered by Eby but there are many more that will ensure that Canada will not be impoverished easily or without a fight. Americans close the border are already being hit and I wish they weren’t but EO’s rule in 2025. Canada has given me a great life (despite the Trudeaus etc) and on this issue, it’s worth the fight IMO. Several family members and in-laws fought in WW1, WW II and one in Korea etc.

If the tariffs were explained correctly to the Canadian people it would be helpful for understanding how they work. The press and govt. officials seized on this issue, gave partial information and hyped the subject as high as they could to the people. Was the fentanyl issue explained thoroughly and why it is such a problem for the uSA? Was the back door China deals to Canada and then into the USA to avoid tariffs etc explained? If they were explained and Canadians don’t bother to listen and understand the whys of what’s going on, then really this will be a long period of friendly relations gone awry and you are on the verge of electing a much worse PM than Trudeau was. Good luck with that as the left played you all like fiddles to get this to happen in this way for your elections.
Remember when we talk borders, we’re not talking about our land border with Canada per se. Chinese ships arrive in the east and west ports. I’ve had to remind many Canadians that China ships Fentanyl to the USA and Canada along with pathways through the USA’s southern and northern borders. When they say that the USA is responsible for inspecting vehicles coming into the USA they are not wrong, but the flow from Chinese or other flagged ships comes into their ports.

Canada can end the problem by not permitting China to import the products used to make fentanyl, by complying with Trump’s border requests, and by withdrawing its own tariffs of long-standing against U.S. products.
(And there really is no “economic chaos”, at least for the U.S.)

You and everyone else that believes fentanyl is the worst problem involving Canada has been duped. Trump’s recent pause never even mentioned the stinking drug this time. Yes, fentanyl is an important issue but it is being used as an excuse to raid Canadian jobs. I know CBSA people and I’m told only non-confidential things that don’t align with the accusations. Especially now after surveillance etc was ramped up.
P Trump is targeting the Canadian Dairy industry that survives only because of a marketing board. But many humorous stories occur.
Depending on the value of the Canadian dollar, the individual cross border purchase conditions change. When the Can. dollar is at a level that means a Canadian can cross the border and grocery shop more cheaply in one of the U.S. border towns the steady stream of cars appear. When one of these thousands of repeat travelers stop at the border and are asked the ‘purpose of your visit” it is usually a short quip. “Gas and groceries” and off they go.
This quick cross border business is either welcomed by the Americans or despised. At its peak, parking spots become difficult to find with so many cars parked with B.C. licenses, restaurants fill up etc.. East indians with large families have been known to drive pickups across and load it with pallets of milk. Yes, pallets that clean out a store’s total stock. The stories are endless and while P Trump rightfully complains about the Dairy industry, I doubt the he has any idea of the amount of American milk that crosses back in Canada at certain times of the year. I don’t know how it is today.
Maybe Trump’s efforts will end or greatly diminish this long standing tradition when the nations were friendly.
Every Canadian I have ever dealt with, whether it be in the military, at work, or just talking in some hostel somewhere in SE Asia, has had this very weird superiority complex when it comes to the subject of America.
Now, I see nothing but whining online about Trump. Do you really think he’s going to attempt to annex Canada? Do you really believe anyone in America wants to import your liberalism and massive Asian invasion problems? We don’t. Trump doesn’t.

Exactly – this is what President Trump is doing, whether for Canada, Mexico or the nations that comprise the EU, he’s forcing the people, not the leaders, the citizens, to start taking on, embracing their individual nation’s best interests at heart;
this is the only way to undo the globalist WEF illusion, not by fully recreating nationalism for nationtalism’s sake, but nationalism for the purpose of people remembering who and what they are, in other words remembering that national self-respect, honoring one’s own borders, beliefs and behaviours; and when that is done, reaching out and working with other nations also able to stand on their own, that is what will create a world at peace.
When Trump complains about allegedly “heinous Canadian trade advantages”, it’s MAGA Presidential.

But, that’s just how I saw his comments, looking at the bigger picture whenever President Trump throws off-hand remarks like that out into the world, as he described in his interview with Theo Von, painting the big picture by using smaller, off-the-cuff, comments and then wrapping them all up into the bigger concept.
The only way both countries can become friends and allies again is to eradicate all radical leftists, socialists, and communists from both countries.

U.S. State Department funded $3M to create a Ukrainian Social Media Influencer network. The contract details state the program was to “Identify, train, and engage 25-40 social media influencers.”
The contract was awarded to CP Marine, LLC, and they were obligated over $20 million since 2021.

“Tensions?” The media continues to treat this whole thing like it was some perverse kind of video game.
Three years ago, NATO was poised on the borders of Russia, ready to launch an invasion. Wisely, Russia decided to invade first.
Ever since that time, the USA and other Western nations have been providing the technical capacity for their “advanced” weapons to strike and kill – while Ukranian soldiers did the dying.
After three long years, a new American President rightly declared that this entire thing is senseless – accomplishing nothing, killing hundreds of thousands, destroying weapons that are needed elsewhere, and bankrupting everybody.
If that be “instability and change,” then: bring it on!
It’s just your limited experience.
The budgets for this year were set last year. All Trump is allowed to do is stop spending unspent money, cancel regulations not backed by law, and try to get next year’s budget squared away by October.
The federal gov has been running on auto for so long, it’s not clear if even half the $6T spending is backed by law. Nothing is being linked to projects correctly in the Treasury. So Trump has to audit the gov via DOGE to get situational awareness of what he’s actually running.
All this while facing a 50% budget overrun, a generational debt load and a 53/47 Congress who is highly incentivized to do nothing.
In 2 years, Trump risks a legislative change. So doing nothing could mean loss of control of the Legislature, then half the toolbox goes away. As we saw with Biden, EOs can be cancelled and reversed by the next president, or the courts, so it is imperative to get these changes codified into law now.
We are already short on time, and it is only March.
Trump is not trying to make changes to the world, he is trying to make changes in line with America First. The changes involve getting the U.S. out of foreign entanglements, just as George Washington advised. If that means changing some things, so be it, but the whole world will not be changed.
When you delay conflict, it generally works to the oppositions advantage. The best way to win a fight is fast.
Am suspecting that as a young man, President Trump was one of those kids that preferred to pull the bandages of skinned knees off quickly while friends of his preferred to slowly peel the bandage off.

There seems to be no evidence President Joe Biden actually signed the documents he is alleged to have signed. This would include bills passed by Congress, executive orders and hundreds of pardons.
The available information demonstrates these documents were signed by “autopen.” It is a automated signature that could have been affixed by ANYONE.
This goes a long way to explain why President Trump is now constantly signing executive orders and other documents in full view of media witnesses. He makes a point of holding up the signed documents.
It may be because the Trump administration is going to challenge ALL official signings by Joe Biden as not being done with his conscious knowledge, presence, permission or actual presidential signature.

Hur reported Biden (in questioning by Hur) , was an “elderly man with a poor memory.” Hur claimed Biden could not be prosecuted for what he may have done because he was not of sufficient mental capacity or memory to understand what was being done or had been done.
It is a bedrock tenet of law that a signature on an official document, by a person of such mental incapacity, is not a lawful signature.
House Speaker Mike Johnson reported Joe Biden insisted (personally to Speaker Johnson), he (Biden) had never signed an executive order freezing exports of liquified natural gas though such an order was published, just weeks before, as having been signed by President Biden.
The entire Biden presidency appears to be a fraud executed by others using a feeble old man who had no idea what was going on.

Handwriting analysts can easily detect “autopen” – as can you. I think that we should look at the “signed” (sic …) text of all those orders and bills, and determine which ones are exactly the same.

The TN legislature killed a bill that would have restored property rights in investment securities for Tennesseans (The Great Taking). The UCC amendment that subverted property rights , which TN adopted in 1997 was likely unconstitutional.
The Senate nullification bill was amended at the last minute to basically gut the bill. It was changed to require a unit of the Attorney General’s office to review and approve or deny any claims of the people of unconstitutionality. The original bill intended that the elected officials, in consultation with their chosen legal counsel make this decision.
It seems that reigning in the federal government and nullifying unconstitutional federal laws is going to be quite the challenge

The attack killed approximately 130 people and injured numerous others. Russian authorities arrested four gunmen in connection with the attack.
During his interview with the FBI, Sharifullah admitted that, on behalf of ISIS-K, he had shared instructions on how to use AK-style rifles and other weapons to would-be attackers.
