Posting to Twitter (X platform) the Ukraine President delivers the following message:
“I would like to reiterate Ukraine’s commitment to peace.
None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump’s strong leadership to get a peace that lasts.
We are ready to work fast to end the war, and the first stages could be the release of prisoners and truce in the sky — ban on missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure — and truce in the sea immediately, if Russia will do the same. Then we want to move very fast through all next stages and to work with the US to agree a strong final deal.
We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. And we remember the moment when things changed when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins. We are grateful for this.
Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive.
Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it in any time and in any convenient format. We see this agreement as a step toward greater security and solid security guarantees, and I truly hope it will work effectively.”

It’s just that Democrats demonstrate that politicals come before human life. Democrats showed not one iota of shame, sadness or compassion for the million Ukrainian soldiers killed. Just watch interviews with ex US servicemen that almost to the man live with regret that they had to kill some young German or Japanese soldier. Because a righteous and good people cherish life above all else. Democrats are marching along the same path in which the Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Toto, Mao, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Hutu’s, pick your poison. They are all the same. The believe that they’re Demi Godlike, they’re standing atop the moral high ground and that death and destruction to those not in alignment with them is justified. Perhaps that is why it may not be a bad idea to let him experience the consequences of “You are either willing to make a deal that creates Peace, or we’re OUT.” I agree that Z’s handlers may have written this and they are stalling for time. Perhaps in their deluded world they think the Democrats protesting President’s Trump’s speech tonight will pressure Trump to come around to Z’s terms and Trump may even invite Z into Fort Knox to help himself.
Meanwhile, let us not forget that there may be pro-Ukrainian terrorists who are out to assassinate Trump. Routh, the one who was caught having been in a sniper’s roost on Trump’s golf course after the Secret Service turned a blind eye, was in with this crowd allegedly. Funny how that whole story disappeared from the news and Routh was simply charged with “firearm offenses.” This group went after JD and his family in Vermont this past weekend when they were on a ski trip. JD & his family had to be evacuated. Keep praying for the safety of our President, his cabinet, and all of their families. Psalm 35 is a good one to pray on their behalf.

He sounds more and more like the addict he is every day. Presidents Trump and Putin are both serious men. Zelenskyy is not in the same league, nor has he demonstrated that he can back up his ever changing promises.
Trust is a key element in any negotiation, be it business or foreign affairs. Both sides need to be able to trust the other party to uphold their end according to the terms. Zelenskyy continues to overplay his hand to the point where his credibility has to be seriously questioned given the high stakes involved.
Since Zelenskyy has already sabotaged 3 attempts by the Trump administration to close the mineral deal I don’t think that President Trump would be out of order to wait a few weeks to let the effect of the lack of US support settle in and then insist that Ukraine hold elections first. After which negotiations could commence in earnest.
Putin will not tolerate the stop and go situation that Zelenskyy might create but President Trump is well situated to provide the guarantee providing he sets the table properly in advance. And it should not be overlooked that this is not only about Ukraine but about an attempt at normalization between the US and Russia.
Maybe US and Russia can make a deal on the future of Ukraine’s minerals. A business partnership.

If Z believes that peace is personally a danger to him (ie elections may replace him with someone who may throw him in jail) then he’ll work to sabotage the peace process. Not to quibble, but I don’t see much to applaud about Zelensky “caving” on X, which costs him nothing but keeping the theater performance going. What we need now from him is compliance, if he expects U.S. support. Contrary to what he’s been led to believe, and what the stupidity of the previous administration suggested, the U.S. is not a bottomless piggy bank. If Ukraine’s welfare rests on the support and goodwill of the United States, then there is a moderate time limit baked into this conflict because we cannot, and under President Trump, will not, just keep writing checks ad infinitum. The demand now is that he seriously pursue peace. Otherwise, he can take his comedic act back to the battlefield and see how well it plays with the Russians.
Zelensky’s recent performance in the Oval office, goaded on by the Left in this country and in European capitals, did him no favors and in fact burned through the small amount of goodwill that might have existed among the administration. If the U.S. weren’t in the hole already for billions of taxpayer dollars, then walking away would be a serious consideration. But the President’s position is that the U.S. will get some satisfaction for all the assistance we’ve given, a good deal of which has been squandered due to graft and corruption.
This is Zelensky’s last chance to do the right thing for his country. Otherwise, he’s free to see if the Europeans have it what it takes to save his hide.

This is the kind of thing he has said before, and then came Friday’s debacle. Apparently he is someone who has an agenda that may not be his own, but that he is being paid to make happen. He says one thing one day and another thing the next. I’ve watched his body language in past interviews and it is clear that when a subject is uncomfortable for him, he looks away, possibly at a door or someone we cannot see, but he is not making eye contact with the person speaking with him. He touches his face, and makes gestures as if to “throw away” what his interlocutor just said. So he shows stress, perhaps he is conflicted, but he never appears genuine. He always appears like he’s in the room and partly not in the room.
If there is a cease fire, there will be an election in Ukraine and he will definitely not win.
Right before he met with Trump and Vance, he attended a meeting with many Congressional members who are the pro-Ukraine contingent, all of whom encouraged him to reject Trump’s offer of peace and make further demands for money and weapons from Trump. So he did exactly that. Clearly people like Nuland, Vindman, Cornyn, and other money laundering recipients from Ukraine’s laundromat are backing him up and encouraging more war, more war.
Wondering if it is the combination of Zelensky being thrown out of the White House after his stunt combined with the now offer by Putin to be the middle-man negotiating vehicle between the U.S. and Iran regarding nukes that Zelensky string-puller’s days are over – that neither President Trump nor President Putin have both moved beyond the games.
It would be nice to think that it is possible to end this human tragedy of vilifying entire nations because of old British paranoias.

It is appropriate to remember that Zelensky had a career as an entertainer (lowbrow, to be sure, pretending to play the piano with his member) and was backed by the oligarch Kolomoisky (well known as an early funder of neo-Nazi paramilitaries used to suppress Russians) for candidate President of Ukraine on a platform of peace with Russia because of his pop culture name recognition. Kolomoisky absolutely wanted to crush ethnic Russians and Russian-language speaking Ukrainians who wanted to remain as part of a larger Rus civilizational realm and not become the easternmost cheap labor reservoir for transnational financialists, but he did NOT want war with the the Russian Federation. It has turned out as Kolomoisky feared, catastrophically bad for profits and opportunity for rent-seeking generational wealth vanished.
If Zelensky was a minnow in a little pond and Kolomoisky a medium fish in the same little pond, the trillions of dollars of potential profit drew in the sharks of globalism from their lairs in the City of London, Paris, and New York (and elsewhere, it is increasingly distributed). Zelensky is like an athlete whose original contract with team Kolomoisky was bought out by team City of London in a deal that neither Zelensky nor Kolomoisky was allowed to refuse. I claim CoL because he has a close protection detail of British mercenaries, but globalism is a geographically distributed cartel movement so his handlers/owners/investors are likely living in a number of places.
