Here is my take on the Zelensky drama in the White House yesterday, consistent with 1) what Sundance has been telling us about the line that Trump has to walk, and 2) Susan Rice’s observation that the meeting was a set up with the way Vance triggered Zelensky. Did I get it right?
Trump is trying to bring peace to Ukraine in a way that doesn’t highlight who his real adversary is – the cabal of Western neocons and intelligence agencies that expanded NATO to Russia’s doorstep and deliberately provoked Russia in an attempt to weaken and destabilize Russia, with said calab led by US State-CIA. Publicly acknowledging this reality would trigger a huge anti-American backlash on the world stage. In yesterday’s meeting, Trump was making Zelensky (not an admirable figure in any way, the corrupt puppet of the Western neocons) the bad guy instead.
IMHO, …No.
The flaw is in the rrason you give, for PDJT not openly and directly refuting the false narrative that Russia was the aggressor, and instead in forcing acceptance of the reality that NATO expansion into Ukraine proked Russia, to rightfully defend itself.
International law says the aggressor pays reparations, and zalenskis supporters, Macron, etc. are salivating at the chance to grift on the $ from Russia, payed for “reparations” but if russia is NOT the aggressor, the western countries must “unfreeeze” those frozen russian assets, and release them to Russia, and then the U.S. and western europe are on the hook for the reparations.
THIS is “the mess” Our President inherited, and he KNOWS Russia should NOT be on the hook for reparations, its not ‘fair’ or ‘right’.

Blackwater founder and former Navy SEAL Erik Prince told Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM that according to one of his “well-placed sources” in the New York Police Department, “The NYPD wanted to do a press conference announcing the warrants and the additional arrests they were making” in the Anthony Weiner investigation, but received “huge pushback” from the Justice Department.
Prince began by saying he had no problem believing reports that the FBI was highly confident multiple foreign agencies hacked Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
“I mean, it’s not like the foreign intelligence agencies leave a thank-you note after they’ve hacked and stolen your data,” Prince said to SiriusXM host Alex Marlow.
Prince claimed he had insider knowledge of the investigation that could help explain why FBI Director James Comey had to announce he was reopening the investigation into Clinton’s email server last week.
“Because of Weinergate and the sexting scandal, the NYPD started investigating it. Through a subpoena, through a warrant, they searched his laptop, and sure enough, found those 650,000 emails. They found way more stuff than just more information pertaining to the inappropriate sexting the guy was doing,” Prince claimed.
“They found State Department emails. They found a lot of other really damning criminal information, including money laundering, including the fact that Hillary went to this sex island with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Bill Clinton went there more than 20 times. Hillary Clinton went there at least six times,” he said.
“The amount of garbage that they found in these emails, of criminal activity by Hillary, by her immediate circle, and even by other Democratic members of Congress was so disgusting they gave it to the FBI, and they said, ‘We’re going to go public with this if you don’t reopen the investigation and you don’t do the right thing with timely indictments,’” Prince explained.
“I believe – I know, and this is from a very well-placed source of mine at 1PP, One Police Plaza in New York – the NYPD wanted to do a press conference announcing the warrants and the additional arrests they were making in this investigation, and they’ve gotten huge pushback, to the point of coercion, from the Justice Department, with the Justice Department threatening to charge someone that had been unrelated in the accidental heart attack death of Eric Garner almost two years ago. That’s the level of pushback the Obama Justice Department is doing against actually seeking justice in the email and other related criminal matters,” Prince said.
NYPD was surveilling Newark NJ mosques after 9/11. In the seminal book on the IC orchestrated “Race Riots” of the 60’s in Newark ” No Cause For Indictment” the genuine investigative reporter/writer noted that the Mosques there were FBI fronts/control.
Perhaps the IC had the lawsuit filed by their flunky Democrat criminal politicians like Spartacus Booker to end the NYPD surveillance so their operations would not be uncovered or future activities stopped.

This is the full 50 minute meeting in the Oval. Having watched it in full, some thoughts:
1. Z seemed fidgety. His hands were mainly folded in his lap (generally indicating submission/passivity – whereas PDJT’s remained in the inverted steeple position). He continually rubbed his fingers together, which to my mind, indicated anxiety, whereas PDJT’s hands remained steadily quiet, in the downward steeple.
2. Z seemed to have felt overlooked when it came to press questions which were mainly directed towards PDJT, often jumping in – but this was not his forum, he was no the host, nor is he on equal footing with the POTUS. Like it or not, that is his reality – despite the fawning from the EU and press, he’s no equal – he’s in a big mess he can’t extricate himself from without the US. He seemed to show frustration not having the focus on him.
3. PDJT seemed to really believe they arrived at a “deal”. He was very invested in this personally; this deal being of high importance and significance to him – however, Z flat out announced there would be no ceasefire. That had to have been a huge surprise – PDJT, Marco, Bressent and JD must have been trying to process that in real time, given the perceived agreed upon “deal” they all thought had been achieved.
4. When Z asked JD’s permission when Z could expound upon JD’s statement about the importance of diplomacy, JD gave Z that permission – essentially, a ‘yeah, go ahead’ – a reversal of JD’s admonition only moments prior that terms need to be “litigated” away from the gathered media. JD, imo, should have said “we’ll discuss this further, but not here” – or words to that effect. Once JD gave Z the permission to ‘go ahead’…it began to go downhill.
I completely enjoy JD’s quick mind, his articulation and ability to debate. But for whatever reason he backed away from his position that the negotiations needed to occur elsewhere, not in the Oval in front of the press. Once PDJT got his back up, it was all over.
The predicate for the Oval Office meeting was … There WAS a deal. Z-Man even said in public there was deal. There was not supposed any negotiations just meeting to sign the agreement, discuss the agreement and path forward. The VP allowed Z-Man to hang himself.
Why is everybody dancing around this point??
It was nice they mentioned 2014-2019. Great background and adds to my question …. Why is everybody dancing around the media reporting that Russia wanted to re-sign the Minsk Accords in November 2021, to avoid the war the NATO allies were pushing to have occur??
For major meetings like this … there had to have been a PLAN, given Z-Man was as likely to renege as he was to sign the agreement … GIVEN … Z-Man already sunk 3 x previous peace meetings ON COMMAND before this and he lied openly after meetings with President Trump’s Team.
The President and his Team were ready for either decision by Z-Man.
The VP did nothing wrong nor “backed away” … they (the President and VP) let Z-Man chose between being leader or puppet. Z-man chose puppet and President Trump went off vs the puppet.

I wasn’t implying JD did anything wrong – but it created an unnecessary firestorm, giving the Libbys what they yearn for: Negative Talking Points. I learned long ago the technique that I call the “Parrot Response” – that is, to keep repeating the same thing when one doesn’t want to get drawn into something, rather than to fall for getting into a dialogue with an adversary. The Libbys and their propaganda media are all falling into the EU’s corner; Z being viewed as the hapless victim.
I get Z began to insist on reneg’ing the terms. JD would have done well to have continued to repeat “We don’t litigate this here”. It would have shut down Z, and POTUS would have maintained control. He could have called an end to the spray in the Oval.
I suspect PDJT is still fuming today and JD has some recriminations. But, as PDJT says, “We’ll see what happens.” Ha!

My take is different, and I watched it, twice.
Z interjected, in order to push the narrative that Putin was evil, the invasion was unprovoked, Russia must pay reparations greater than $300 billion, and return ALL lands occupied, and including emotional appeals regarding children either “kidnapped” by Russians or RESCUED,, depending on which side you listen to, and pictures allegedly of Ukranians, before and after Russian imprisonment.
Our President knows thats largely b.s., and is not the way to peace.

Is Zelensky the new Arafat?
He tried to re-negotiate the minerals deal – which is his normal practice. He kept pushing for security guarantees after President Trump repeatedly told him and his Euro handlers there will be no security guarantees.
I noticed that PDJT said afterward that he wanted to do this part in public so people could see the emotion (so much for the claim that women are “too emotional”, Trump is dealing with men exclusively here).
PDJT started talking about the hate on both sides. That’s something a lot of people are overlooking, this isn’t just about Zelensky versus Putin and who is right versus who is wrong. There is deep longstanding hatred and mistrust that President Trump has to take into account.
When he started talking about the hate and staying in the middle, he wasn’t saying or doing anything wrong, but at that point, without a translator, Zelensky appeared to be getting concerned that there wasn’t enough recognition of Putin being a bad guy or something.
President Trump tried to make it clear that he didn’t have all that much he could deal with.
I personally thing a lot of President Trump’s obvious anger is precisely because he’s in a situation where he doesn’t have a lot to deal with, and that goes back to Russia Russia Russia.
I noticed when he went to France, he appeared angry at times, which isn’t like him.
I only understand now, after that episode in the Oval Office, and his remarks afterward, how much anger he’s been carrying all this time, because he’s not one to show it.
If they hadn’t poisoned that well before he even got into office, he could have built a decent working relationship with Putin, and prevented all this.
Now he’s stuck with “look, it’s the best I can do for you”, and he doesn’t like it at all.
A large part of that frustration and anger, on the part of President Trump, has to be the counterintuitive manner the EU and National Governments of the EU-NATO nations are acting … they could give two rat’s asses about their nations .. no matter how much truth is splashed into the sunlight … nor how dangerous the situation continues to grow.
That has to be galling … given how the good guys in this in terms of caring about their nation is the supposedly “bad guys”.
Your comments (here and above) are spot-on. Two additional points to consider in the total equation:
1.) The EU leaders would like nothing more than to destroy the USA economically, morally, and to see our young fighters die. Taking on this war (or getting us into WW3) would accomplish that.
2.) President Trump made quite a point yesterday in noting how both he AND Putin suffered over the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax. They have that in common, and Putin was measured throughout the ordeal.

Zelensky has pulled this crap in talks multiple times. There’s consensus and then at a point afterward, he brings up an issue already addressed to revisit it.
All were already aware of his concerns about a lasting peace and fears about Russia, cease-fires, etc., from past talks in private. Which is why he and Ukraine agreed to the mineral deal and why he was in the WH.
So what was with Zelensky’s bringing it all up (“re-litigating” their prior talks) publicly? And the propaganda pictures, etc.? Performing for the media? For whom?

Vance made clear his position. However, sometimes you decide to allow the other much more latitude under the idea of being fair – or, allow them room to hang themselves. It was at this point that everything became clear in public.
Zalensky came there under false pretenses. The only reason he was there was to sign the agreement. Having blown that up in private just hours before, he went for the public appeal that was – as he saw it and completely misguided, to his advantage.
In the end Z did us a favor by doing this.

The Zelensky incident makes for good ratings and drama chaser’s. However it changes nothing. From the get go, the die was cast. Ukraine was going to lose, it was just a matter of how much. I suggest learning about Finland’s model. Especially their tactics on snow ski’s turning the winter woods into Russian meat grinders. Finland had the means to let Russia know this, perhaps is a war you don’t want. But at the same time Finland realized it was a war they couldn’t afford. Ultimately they would lose. Thus, negotiated a peace and gave up a chunk of land. There’s no other solution other than a negotiated agreement. That’s it, do it now, do it later but at some point Ukraine and Russia will settle. Both sides losing their most cherished national treasure, human souls. President Trump isn’t really looking at this deeper than the simple answer. Stop killing innocent young souls. That is the righteous and simply to best reason to end this foolish endeavor.

Yes, Trump won the popular vote against unbelievable odds, but if you think Team Obama is being any less involved in quiet insurrections than they were during the first Trump administration (Russia collusion, Ukraine impeachment, etc.), you’re clueless. It later came out that Rice and Tony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, and Alexander Vindman may have been personally advising Zelensky to do this meeting in the way he did — that they recommended him to be hostile and to try to goad Trump into blowing up. Even though he didn’t, and even though Zelensky’s actions horrified many normal Americans, the Obama team went on the airwaves to falsely characterize what happened.

I think their goal was to have a wonderful performance by Zelensky, an angry Trump appearing to scuttle the deal, and the support of the neocon portion of the GOP to start applying pressure on Trump to have US Troop commitments as part of the “security guarantee.” It was a set-up, in Susan Rice’s interesting choice of words

Instead, Zelensky had one of the worst stage performances of his acting career, and Trump was statesmanlike (against all odds) throughout. Zelensky followed Team Obama’s advice to be hostile to a tee, but it didn’t land how they thought it would. Surprisingly, one of the most important aspects of it not working out might have been Lindsay Graham’s reaction. Had he and other neocons thought Zelensky was being reasonable, Trump would be having to fight (even moreso) the neocon portion of the GOP in addition to Team Obama’s dirty tricks. Even the “conservative” neocon pundits on TV last night were admitting Zelensky had royally messed up.

As you can see from the hostility of the bureaucracy to any Republican oversight, no matter how reasonable or minor it may be, the entrenched bureaucracy and permanent DC apparatus is quite active. That goes quadruple for the deep state in the Intelligence Community. I’d expect more and more shenanigans and to be prepared so that you don’t fall for the next information operation. The post-WWII architecture in Europe and the US needs this war to continue or be settled on “US troops on the ground” type guarantees, even though that’s not what Americans want.

Sounds good to me, so now we can cut off all aid to European countries, get out of NATO, etc, and save Billions of dollars!
