I don’t have an issue with these Gold Cards. Cap it at 1,000,000 available. We get $5 Trillion to put on the debt. They would all be vetted. Why not have 3 levels of cards.
Silver card at 5 million per person. It entitles you to full citizenship at the end of 5 years if you meet all requirements.
Gold card. $10 million dollars per person. Automatic citizenship at end of 3 years.
Platinum card. $15 MILLION and it allows a family up to 4 members to become automatic citizens after 2 years. You can add up to 3 additional family members at $5 million each.
Total cap is 1 million per year. Pay a non refundable deposit if $1 MILLION DOLLARS TO GET ON WAITING LIST.
I am not certain about Automatic Citizenship.
Perhaps, after a deep DOGE dive into their businesses, social media, family members, and friendships then they can become citizens.
I am also not sure about their families getting Automatic Citizenship. I may entertain the idea that they get in line and start the process. I just know that forging a birth certificate is very easy and someone can import their “children” who are really not their children.

I also think that there needs to be something whereby they are not allowed to vote for FEDERAL election for a certain number of years. I know that becomes taxation without representation (voting), but I’m thinking it would be for something like for 5 years after citizenship is granted, not for a lifetime. Same thing for any entitlements (maybe make that eligible after 10 years, tho likely not even necessary, since they would be very educated and highly skilled individuals who will have no issues doing well financially in our country). States could decided when voting for state-level offices (governor, state legislature, etc) would be allowed.
All other Constitutional protected rights (freedom of speech, religion, assembly, redress of government; security and privacy from unwarranted searches; second amendment, etc.) would be theirs upon official entry to this country.
We don’t need automatic voters. Rather, we need people who will have a respect for this country and its laws, culture, language, etc and who will demonstrate it. Once having lived within the parameters of this country’s laws, privileges, and responsibilities, and having demonstrated a commitment to them, let FEDERAL voting commence.
Chain migration? Do they have to have a sponsor? Is it open to all other countries? What if they pay then need a small business loan or business fails and public assistance is needed? Just that a lot of questions and it’s going to have to be sold to American citizens.

Rather, they were treated BETTER than citizens (4-5 star hotels while veterans and natural disaster survivors (NC after Hurricane Helene, etc) remained homeless; no standard ID required to move about the country, just board the airplanes; full entitlements upon entry, including social security benefits without ever having paid into the system; etc.) None of this would happen with $5 million gold card holders.

I don’t understand why they can’t look at Trump’s first term. I brought it up and sent him links to Sundance’s charts and explainations of how prices did not rise with the previous tariffs. Haven’t heard anything from him. I figure they are all liberals.
For the most part, all investment advisors get paid a percentage on the money they move.
I highly recommend making all investments in things based on your own personal experience.
2 examples, my personal investments, during the Hilary/Trump election, my mutual fund co invested heavily against Trump & I lost all that they made me in share price dropping 75% when I was forced to redeem, after 20 years…. it was worth less than I invested. Share price still has not recovered.
Dad invested his lump sum distribution upon (forced retirement) with that strip mall investing chain….. had him constantly moving investments ….. lost at least 50% but he wouldn’t say.
As I recall from several different random picking stock methods …. using a dart board to pick things is equal or better than an investment “advisor”.
Had I used my auto investments into things I liked … [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], I could have retired a multi millionaire long ago.

Sorry, I should emphasize this is about Howard Lutnick’s idea to have the Post Office do the Census. As far as accuracy, idk my mail is often times given to my neighbors and vice versa. This idea should never have been floated until citizenship is clearly defined in all its iterations and qualified via its impact on the citizenry AND the borders are secured. Who in their right mind at the WH thought this was a good idea? Frighteningly narrow-minded and guided by an ugly shape of greed. Who could be so greedy or were they simply nervous about the potential of dual citizenship to be diminished?
And let’s not forget, no one in Washington cared about the debt until today, when it suddenly became an argument to sell citizenship.
Then why the new proposed 10-year forecast budget which:

People already pay for citizenship, or the ability to work in the USA. Green card, which was designed for temp workers, Visia’s which is more like a revolving work/school permit. Both cost money. Lets draw the line at $5 million though because they may finance the Democrats agenda? Hmmmm Pretty sure the Democrats agenda has been functioning quite well with out them.

My thoughts exactly. He KNOWS he needs at least $1T of REAL cuts in each of the next 4 years, dedicated solely to paying down the debt, while having NO INCREASES TO SPENDING AT ALL, PLUS he needs a crapload of $$ to deport all the grifter illegals.

thought I heard either President Trump or Sec. Lutnick say these had a limited time frame these will be offered so need to see if that has an end-life
so – not 5 bullet points but that last one it’s possible I heard that wrong or misunderstood. Canada gave out similar, but with a lot less purchase price and I remember a good friend, a Canadian businessman we worked with (now deceased; would love his take on what’s going on between Canada and the US) telling us how Vancouver was turning into a mini-China and that is the other danger – the CCP can come up with $5.0 million per person if that person and their family are of the deep-planted sleeper agent variety.
Also, has there ever been a government gimmick that actually had an end date and did actually end?
Initial gut reaction – really bad idea; but am learning with President Trump it will be in the details and those need to be seen before liking this idea. The next Democrat administration will take this model and run riot with it so this is why a hard end date for it has to be built in.

Secretary Lutnick is turning out to be a joy to watch. From September 11, the depths of awful events concerning this man, to him having the time of his life working for We the People is really something. This big ticket card is fine with me for right now as we might as well get something in return such as possible debt reduction. My dad used to say poor people do not employ people.
I was not sure about Lutnick or Rubio several months ago. Still not sure about Rubio long run, however at this moment both men are providing great service.

Hillary would call me xenophobic, but experience is experience. Trump seems to think engineers from other countries are superior to American engineers. But my experience working with engineers from other lands is that their cultures are very different from ours. India appears to breed sloth, laziness and sloppiness in work ethic; Chinese engineers are arrogant, feel very superior to Americans, but are not smarter and frequently cannot speak English understandably. Russian engineers just generally don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Often, the work from all three has to be done over again by an American engineer because it is so bad. So how is it they get hired over here? To a man because they ‘know’ somebody who gets them the job. And now we want to give them gold cards???
