Ohio is an odd state. They seem to always find a way to leave themselves with the worst possible options for Governor. He’s going to be a liability in the long term. Ramaswamy is not stable; he’s erratic and focused on emotional/personality issues.

If no better option, Vivevk is the one to support. I can think of at least 50 current Republican Senators and Governors who are far worse than Vivevk. So, a Trump endorsement is not always a sign that the candidate is worth a shit. It just means that person is most likely the one that is going to be elected. Well, people I used to hold as dear, family and friends, are no longer respected by me and included in my life and family any longer. Many personal alliances and bonds have been severed with the now well-defined differences in ideologies defining our country.
I suspect the relationship stood as long as JD always validated Vivek as superior and oh-most-successful and allowed Vivek to define the dynamics between the two. Seems JD has moved away from Vivek. I had a relative who has no interest in close relationship anymore once I stopped acting and reacting to how he thought was best. It was laughable how frustrated he became when could not influence me away from MAGA and President Trump. The beginning of the end of closeness was when I realized he was not one of the smartest people I knew but the stooopidest, most ignorant. Lightbulb moment was when he actually thought the mini-series from years ago, Centennial, was historically accurate.

Both Vivek and my relative have mastered “acting” smart, going through studied motions and mannerisms of being smart. Funny thing is how impressed they are with themselves. Famed investor Ray Dalio said America has some of the world’s best and brightest. He added the problem is we only have about 3 million of them (out of 300+ million). China will kick our tails on AI unless we bring in the world’s best and brightest. As long as we prioritize prom queens, we’ll never close the gap in time. The stakes have never been higher. Todays young voters (YV) aren’t any more dumb or mediocre than any generation. It’s the old bell curve, and they fall across it like people generally do. Most of those YV are struggling to see a positive future and make their place in it. Those YV choose PDJT for a reason: hope for a future. Vivek will likely attempt to tap into this as well. Those who voted against PDJT generally are surrounded by a lack of hope or todays equivalent of MSM. I spend a lot of time in Ohio and the YV aren’t dumb, but have limited hope. The old school party hacks do control the system but are dying off. The cities are for the most part currently lost to conservative thought, but if good blue collar jobs can be brought back there’s a small chance, because indoctrination walks when money talks- look at the shift in minority voting. And lastly, H1B visas aren’t our enemy if they are limited and controlled well; those coming in on those visas are the cream of the crop and more often than not fairly conservative once they learn how the American system actually works. Tightly regulated immigration is as good for us as badly regulated immigration is bad for us.

What surprised me is that one of their wives is deeply aware of the nastiness of our Canadian government, and a now a huge President Trump supporter.

I’ve spent the last 32 years, since I was 14, in acute chronic pain nearly every single day. I was prescribed opioids for over a quarter century in order to be able to work and raise my kids who are both on hard fought college scholarships.
In 2019, I developed non viral hepatitis and pancreatitis from decades of opioids. I detoxed myself, and got a recommendation to use the plant in lieu of pills. I found certain varieties Miraculous for pain relief.
The problem is affordability, quality of available medicine in this State and the fact under our Amendment, no one can have a job with cannabis metabolites in their system.
President Trump endorsed the plan to let the growers of this BS crony system sell the plant to anyone who wanted it in Florida, after they monetized mine and many others suffering to build the infrastructure for recreational marijuana.
While weed is Federally Illegal, how would selling it to whomever be a good idea?

Prosecutors sought to seize more than $6 million linked to office towers in Dallas that are tied to Igor Kolomoisky, a billionaire industrialist.
The filing in U.S. District Court in Miami is the Justice Department’s fourth attempt to obtain assets tied to Kolomoisky and his associates through forfeiture proceedings.
It claims the funds are linked to international money laundering.
FBI agents in Cleveland are investigating Kolomoisky and associates linked to the PrivatBank, a Ukrainian bank that Kolomoisky and Gennadiy Boholiubov opened in 1992.
In August 2020, agents searched the offices of Optima Management Group in One Cleveland Center at East 9th Street and St. Clair Avenue, as well as company offices in Miami.
Optima is the name of a series of businesses run by Kolomoisky’s associates in America, according to federal authorities. Attorneys representing the companies could not be reached late Thursday afternoon.
Michael Sullivan, a Boston lawyer who has represented Kolomoisky in the past, also could not be reached.
Federal documents filed in Miami allege that Kolomoisky and Boholiubov swindled PrivatBank out of $5 billion from about 2008 to 2016.
They sought out loans, repaid the loans with more loans and then poured the money into U.S. real estate holdings.
As a result of the massive fraud, the Justice Department said, PrivatBank was nationalized in 2016.
In the past two years, the Justice Department has sought to seize tens of millions of dollars in property from businesses tied to Kolomoisky and his associates, including 55 Public Square in Cleveland.
The office tower sold for $17 million last year.
The sale’s net proceeds went into an account maintained by the federal government, and a judge could order the money forfeited later.
Optima was once one of the largest landlords in downtown Cleveland, but its interests in the city have dwindled in recent years.
It still owns One Cleveland Center on East 9th Street and has interest in the Westin Cleveland Downtown.
The government also sought to seize other office towers in Dallas and Louisville, Kentucky.
Those properties are worth more than $70 million.
On Thursday, prosecutors sought through civil forfeiture to seize more than $6 million in proceeds from the sale of Stemmons Towers in Dallas in 2019.
An Optima business purchased the towers in 2008, the filing shows.
Prosecutors claimed that the properties were maintained and improved using the proceeds from the fraud at PrivatBank.
Defense attorneys said in documents filed last year in Miami that authorities in Ukraine have not brought charges from the case.
They stressed that no criminal court in Ukraine has determined that any misconduct occurred.
