President Trump spoke about that during his interview with Hannity. He was referring to Elon and his intelligence that is matched by his “energy” to get a job done. He basically said there are a lot of smart people that work in government, they just don’t have the energy or drive to be better or do better for the people.

I work for an airline that pushes DEI they all do as far as I can tell. I hate it, it’s destructive, but people learn how to navigate and even proliferate in that circumstance. Remove it and see who is left standing then make assumptions. Nobody should be called hyphenated tribes, it was the beginning of the downfall. Remove them all and watch. Some of these who are considered “underprivileged” will excel to greatness, it’s why it’s done not to lift them up. Disgusting evil people, from the deepest regions of hell, retrieve these ideas. If the US pulls back from NATO, who is the dominant military partner? Is it Turkey? I believe the answer is yes. Turkey is a NATO member, but not an European Union member.
If Turkey is admitted into the EU, is it now a Muslim majority alliance? I believe the answer is yes.
What are the implications of a dominant Turkey inside the EU? Is an Ottoman Caliphate being restored under our noses?

The reality is that most people operate with motivations that first and foremost are “what’s good for me”. And they take what they perceive to be the easiest safest and most lucrative route for themselves, their own careers, their own pocketbooks and families. It’s human nature.
Does one “join the party”, rationalizing that his or her small bit isn’t going to make a difference versus the frequently thankless, dangerous, or just plain old fruitless and useless position of standing on principle, being a naysayer or whistleblower.
The cumulative effect of myriad datapoints of self-interest add up.
I first observed this problem emerge in a large international corporation as an “in-house counsel” where literally no one from the lowest employee to the C-suite actually cared about the overall success of the company versus “how does this or that make ME look” and their own incomes and power fiefdoms.
It’s orders of magnitude worse in politics and bureaucracies in which there are few objective (or at least transparent and un-spinnable) measures of success “of the enterprise”.

Keep in mind that we will be bamboozled into believing that we are falling into a recession. However, the government counts deficit spending as part of GDP. If we cut $1T off of spending, then there will be shrieks that the sky is falling when in reality we are reallocating unproductive spending into a new, productive workforce. Also, all the loans that the government would have made can be redirected to more productive sectors of the economy. This will be the best recession of my lifetime.
On a personal note I don’t agree with the dividend being proposed… however, it would be useful to cut those shrieks off at the knees

I received an invitation to a Town Hall Meeting by Democrat Andre Carson last night. I enrolled in it so I could see what the other side was talking about. Got to hand it to the demonRATS that they mobilize really well and march in lockstep with one another.
Our representative Victoria Spartz often hosts in person listening session town halls, but haven’t seen any of those since President Trump has been re-elected.

For clarification – I believe I got the invitation to the dark side – because I voted for Trump, but voted Libertarian for the Indiana Governor’s race because of first hand knowledge I have about the Lt Governor. Also, I solidified that decision when Braun announced that he was leaving Dept of Education, Katie Jenner, in place – basically continuing the liberal onslaught on our students in K-12. For instance, a few years ago, I caught wind of a BLM Movement plan to assemble in the parking lot of a small public elementary school that was in my neighborhood… lauded and being ushered in by the sympathetic liberals who lived in that neighborhood.
Peaceful protests, my hind side!!!
I immediately filed an anonymous tip with the school district and by the next morning… a huge tactical SWAT team vehicle was parked at the building deterring any assembly.
I thought it INSANE the liberals would bring protesters into our residential neighborhood at a children’s school!!!! Should it get out of hand, the number of casualties and property damage… to homes and a children’s school was alarming.
If those low life liberal idiots were going to protest, get their butts off their comfy couches and go fight in the riots in downtown Indianapolis that were occurring… don’t BRING THEM to our residential suburb community where they could burn our homes down or worse!
We got out of there. This was in NW Indianapolis and the head of the HOA was a lunatic, screeching college English professor, never Trumper communist who wasn’t running the HOA all that fiscally well, but all the neighborhood was over 55 years old and would never stand up to him to regain control. The monies collected for our HOA and the deposit balances due didn’t add up and the property management company went defunct. This area we lived in was a decent upper scale neighborhood but liberals amuck.

Why not all of it to paying down the debt? Where is the rest of it going? Does this mean they anticipate increasing the budget 60% in proportion to the savings? I’m confused.
This was my question as well. I understand he wants to incentivize people to help find waste, but we have an enormous problem that is nearly unsolvable. IMO all of it should be going toward the debt.
I think that if someone wants to decline the money up front and have it put towards the debt with the thought that they will get more than $5,000 back then that may be a good plan.
I also think that if someone is in poor health, has been getting taxed to death for 50+ years, or is getting elderly then they should have the option of taking the money now. Some people may not live another 4 years or have been so financially devastated by our politicians that they may need the money NOW.
I do not know what the percentage $5,000 is in $36,000,000,000,000 but I would imagine that it would be miniscule. I also know that our bureaucracies can blow through $5,000 in a minute.
I trust that PDJT and his Team have seen how much money has been wasted/stolen and they are trying to balance fiscal restraint AND returning some of the stolen money to the taxpayers. I also believe that they will dig so deep into the weeds that they will claw back the money, confiscate property that was paid with stolen money, and take all sorts of measures to get this money back.
It reminds me of the State of Michigan. The county employees would force a sell of someone’s home for $150,000 to pay a $1,000 tax bill and keep the remainder. Finally, their Supreme Court told them that it was unconstitutional and that they had to pay the former owner $149,000. These counties are now crying about how they don’t have the stolen money anymore. Boo hoo.
But some of us are old and want the money now. We do not have 30 more years of MAGA prosperity to get the money back.
I understand your point. But, two things. First, with a few exceptions so far, not much has been clawed back, relative to our enormous national debt. Second, with that enormous national debt in mind, every penny we’re spending is borrowed. So, if we give back $5000 we are borrowing it times however many get the check. And paying interest on it.
Sundance has pointed out, time and again, how Biden lied when he said inflation had fallen because the percent of inflation in the month he was talking about was less than the percent of the month before. It was still positive inflation, it was just not rising as fast as before.
Same here, unless I totally misunderstand government spending and bookkeeping. We don’t really have money to give back. We will be spending money we don’t have, and increasing our debt.
If President Trump is actually saying that they will claw back more than enough to cover this, then everything I said is wrong. If not, then what we are essentially doing is spending less than we did during the Biden regime, which is a huge accomplishment, but not a positive balance in the bank.

So I read that CPAC I removing some, maybe all, people that were involved in J6 even if they were pardoned.
I don’t know what justification they used to remove these people and there may be some bad hombres in the group, but doubt it.

I believe we really need to expose J6. I understand there is a House Committee headed by GA Rep. Loudermilk that is investigating J6. We definitely need to expose what actually happened and was this a Democrat and FBI setup to blame President Trump and his supporters.
