How DOGE Came To Be
From ZeroHedge: https://www.zerohedge.com/political/trump-doge-fire-layoff-bazooka-targets-200000-fed-workers-probation
At the end of the post is an X imbed from the X user KanekoaTheGreat which had this post about the creation of DOGE – turns out it wasn’t “created”, it is a repurposed, existing agency created by Obama. (A must read!)
It’s legally untouchable, and because it already exists, it is already funded and operational, has access to all federal agencies, congress is virtually powerless to do anything to stop it and will run into standing issues if they try to challenge it in the courts.
It’s absolutely brilliant!
a great post.
May I add to your excellent find, jmp? Just as a quick overview…
Which leads to this, a long but extremely worthwhile read.
It has a sort of Sundance written feel to it, though it isn’t.
Grab a coffee or two; and while we wait for Lawfare inferior court judges to be humiliatingly, publicly slapped down, understand what they really are…pawns in the Great Game President Trump has mapped out and of which he truly is the Grand Master.
From the article…as a preview for a delicious read.
“The Deep State spent the weekend celebrating its judicial bottlenecks, believing it had stalled Trump’s momentum. Instead, they woke up yesterday to three separate existential threats unfolding at the same time.”
It makes this which I posted yesterday even more apposite.
https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/swamp-apocalypse-wednesday-february
I read this article on Wednesday and shared it widely. It is a must-read to understand the scope of what is happening.
Good…it needs to be shared as widely as possible, zephyrbreeze.
Tell me you weren’t smiling all the way through…
As well as appreciating the incredible strategery of the greatest President we’ve ever had during a time of war, which is what we as a nation are most definitely fighting.
A Commander in Chief for the ages.
Need some kind of OTC medicine, for the severe facial cramps I am getting, due to a constant ear to ear grin.
The winnamins, as great as they are only exacerbate the problem,…any suggestions, lol.
I got nuffin, dear dutch…I don’t think I want anything…cramps withstanding.
Feels so good and so right 😁👍🏻
I’m having so much fun that I might need surgery to get the smile off my face.
10 out of 10 pain in this case is expected.
Alcohol, orally.
Will popcorn help????
it did for me last night………
that’s where i saw it – thanks, very enjoyable article.
if DOGE is just the expeditionary force,
i wish them expedited expeditioning because their receipts
have been the sword that finally cut the deep state Gordian knot.
we “villagers” are in total support.
more autists, please!
especially appreciated the renewed view of scotus as a co-equal branch of government,
not the sole governing voice of any and all things.
He’s posted another good essay today – 2.14.2025
… its another Ray of Sunshine… worth the time also
{ https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/my-valentine-friday-february-14-2025 }
Oh thanks for this, AmaraGrace 👍🏻 I am familiar with this substack from over the past few years, but it has been a long time since I’ve seen it…off to read
.
I’m enjoying this as much as the one above, sis.
I’ll say its worth the time!
And how!!
thanks for that.
Really nicely done!
The author does a good job of tying different pieces together, to show how much, and in how many ways, DJT and DOGE are working to reach their goals.
And how the Speaker also appears onboard with the efforts to audit these multiple agencies and departments, to put together a budget – and pass it! – so that deep state lawfare is irrelevant.
I think this past 3+ weeks of DJT’s governance is a terrific example of how
intelligence,
creativity,
focus,
energy,
and perseverance,
can accomplish wonders greater than most of us could imagine.
People recognize Musk is smart – probably has an IQ of 150 or more. He also is very driven.
He is a mixed bag (for example, his stand on H-1B), and is somewhat socially awkward (and an unusual personal life).
Yet, he and his team of gifted, talented overachievers is changing ‘the game’ in DC.
People have called Donald J. Trump many things – some awful, some very good.
But I don’t know how many of us recognize how incredibly mentally agile and resilient he is.
I don’t just mean IQ – which in my unexpert opinion, may be 140 or better.
It’s the unique combination of:
Age (maturity)
Intelligence
Experience
Emotional stability
Empathy
Emotional Intelligence
Perseverance
Humility (yes, humility!)
Humor
Self-deprecation
Salesmanship
Self-awareness
Public speaking
Strength – physically,
Mentally, emotionally
Risk-taking
Relatedness to others’ needs – wants- desires
Understanding of so many various concepts/processes/views
Wiliness
… just to name a few.
Which makes him the right man – in the right place – at the right time.
All of his rallies focused on the pain of the middle class….his empathy and relatedness IQ is quite high.
Historically, he used to show up at construction sites and talk with the workers/laborers.
And not by chance either, Bob. You’ve listed so many of his attributes, but I particularly like your descriptive “mentally agile”.
I’ll add ” generous” to go with “empathy”.
He is in a wonderful position to act on his empathy, and does so without demanding credit or public fanfare. In secret does he do his very good deeds, a biblical command.
And finally, he gives credit and praise to others when it is deserved. He is not a glory hog…team effort is what is making this term a success.
I stand in awe and amazement as we alll do.
And with gratitude to Almighty God as we watch His grace in giving us such a man as this to lead us out of the terrible darkness of the last four years.
Betsy, you bring up some good points about DJT. The generosity he has shown, both publicly and privately.
He apparently has helped people in all walks of life; we rarely hear about those incidents, because for all of his ‘puffery’, DJT does Not seek attention for these acts.
DJT may not be the most ‘pious’ public persona, but practices good works out of the limelight.
Those he has helped have spoken. For all his (I’ll call it) showmanship on the world stage, behind the curtains of the world srage where he is seen he lets his heart speak in silence.
Others in general won’t see it, but his Father in Heaven does. It makes me smile to know it.
“The Right Stuff” if ever there was.
This president is a legacy president. He has, without doubt, saved the country. It will take much t restore it, but with all glory to our Father GOD, we are grateful.
“People recognize Musk is smart – probably has an IQ of 150 or more. He also is very driven.
He is a mixed bag (for example, his stand on H-1B), and is somewhat socially awkward (and an unusual personal life).”
Let me get this straight. The guy behind Tesla, Starlink, DOGE and delivering PA for Trump with an IQ of 150 or more is wrong on H1-B? Highly unlikely. I realize many Treepers, severely lacking in international business experience, disagree. To me, Musk is only vulnerable on his decision to build a giga-factory in Shanghai and simultaneously launching a legit competitor (BYD). His money his choice.
Um, respectfully, yes.
Can we use H-1B workers – yes.
Do we Need to use H-1B workers? – no.
As a CBP officer, I’ve interviewed many, many H-1B workers – and they are not any more capable than US citizens.
If we, as a nation, want to bring such visa workers in, to supplement the workforce already here, let’s do so with certain provisions:
That such visas are for a set period of time, such as a J-1 visa – and that at the end of that time, the visa holder returns to his country.
Currently, the H-1B functions more as an immigrant visa, than a non-immigrant visa.
After enough time here, the H-1B visa holder can apply for Legal Permanent Resident (LPR – Green Card).
The 65,000 H-1B visa holders can bring their H-4 spouses, who also can obtain an EAD (Employee Authorization Document) and get a job as well.
So, 65,000 x 2 =130,000 people, and all can work.
Plus, the H-1B visa holder can bring any children (also H-4) to the USA.
In my experience, most
H-1B / H-4 couples have 2 children either overseas (H-4) or here (USC).
130,000 x 2 =260,000 potential people added to the US population, each year.
Over a decade, 260,000 x 10 = 2.6 million added to the population.
All due to a non-immigrant visa acting as an immigrant visa.
No one voted for that.
Does Mr Musk concern himself with that?
I honestly do not know.
He is looking for IT workers, and the H-1B pipeline is one way to get a lot of them, at a nominal cost.
But beyond the impact of H-1B visas on the job market, the unintended result of the H-1B visa on US population is rarely (if ever) discussed.
We need a discussion to take place – at some point – regarding this feature of the current H-1B visa.
Thank you, dear sir, for this informative post.
Agree with your final statement as the wife of someone who jumped through every hoop for his Green Card.
He’s an adroit leader – his leadership skills are exemplary; it puts him in a category with other historical leaders.
I agree – Right, Right, Right (side of Natural Law/God’s Law), AND Correct.
Thank you Betsy for sharing this article! It is awesome and I shared it on Facebook and going to share it with others that are not on Facebook!
Blooming where you’ve been planted, Carolyn. That’s how we make a difference in our own small ways, even when we may believe we cannot. One little pebble like sharing what we read…don’t know how far those ripples might spread.
Great article!!! I was almost getting the vapors over all the TROs!!! The money quote, and there are many in it, to me was:
“The Deep State thought it could box in Trump with legal challenges, but he’s moved the fight to Congress and to public disclosure, where the judiciary has no power.”
Yes, this needs to be spread far and wide. That is why I keep saying this is not going to end well for “the resistance.”
Supreme arrogance, hubris and hatred are a bad combination. It blinds them to reason/caution.
It will not end well, sis. Nemesis will follow at some point.
And the resistance will still learn nothing from it.
Absolutely outstanding read. That is the 3D chess we have talked about here numerous times.
I wonder if Steven Miller had anything to do with initially figuring this out?
Certainly SOMEBODY ‘Discovered’ this, and “took it to the boss”, can you imagine what that must have been like, to have been the individual or team, that figured this out?
OMG, the greatest discovery since pennicillin, lol.
Im just now remembering the other day at one of his Oval Office press conferences when President Trump, asked about these judicial unconstitutional over reaches if he would obey them, and his short, very short answer…
Remember?
He said he always “obeys the law”.
Think about that pronouncement in conjunction wih the explanatory DOGE meme above 😎
👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
Thanks Betsy!
That’s the “meat” of the ZH post I was trying to put in this post, but I couldn’t copy and paste the X post here at the Treehouse, call me “tech challenged”!
Can’t be worse at tech than I am, jmp. Two things at best I can do, one of which allowed me to leave that overview here. Glad to oblige 😊
and now zero is coming in that backdoor to take credit.
Zero made a comment about it on fox this morning.
They haven’t figured it out yet, Dixie.
Betting they never will.
Who is “Zero”? I have seen this mentioned before by others, but I have missed who that is!
OBAMA
Washington DC District Court Federal judges born in Pakistan, Jamaica and India might have a difficult time comprehending your analysis?
There’s a Moslem in there somewhere, too, Joe. Guarantee he won’t get it either.
(How in this world the senate (small “s”) could vote to confirm such a person whose beliefs are completely antithetical to our Republic based on Christianity is beyond me. I doubt he took his oath with his hand on the Bible.)
No, USDS was never to “patch a melted website.” It was intended to be so vaguely and innocently named that you wouldn’t know what it really was.
Obama was and is a very paranoid man who wanted total access to data. He built that, then hid it. But others knew where it was buried. And what it could achieve under a different charter.
That was the excuse, Mike. A phrase which really should have inverted commas around it.
I read that with complete and total astonishment!!! Good on you Betsy jones!!!
Genesis 50:20 “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done”
This verse of Joseph telling his brothers not to worry came to me, what obama intended to do to harm us via obamacare has been used by President Trump to do good for us!!! Godspeed President and Elon Musk!!! Isn’t God great!!!
So great, dear Bubby. Using evil by repurposing it for a time such as this to good through the hands of another. Amen.
‘Get Trump’ March Madness brackets are shaping up for 2025 season. Run for Championship will be one for the ages. Have fun with your bracket picks!
Ouch, there they go, again!
“We aren’t anvi-vaccine, we took our children to get vaccinated. That’s how we ended up here.”
Anti-vaxx’er had become a slur, even though every parent I spoke to have vaccinated their children. They didn’t read some random blog and make this an obsession, they were looking for answers. Moms were called crazy, we see this even today, although much less often post-Covid.
“Do you think we want to blame the vaccines? We denied this until every other cause had been ruled out. You think we want to feel guilty?”
None of these moms wanted to believe that vaccines could harm their children. It was the opposite. If the vaccine caused the child’s injuries, then the parent would be left with an immense amount of guilt. Even though it’s undeserved. They did nothing wrong. They did what doctors told them.
There was a day when we believed the FDA was forcing pharmas to adequately and properly test vaccines and pharmaceuticals. This is now transparently not true.
No doubt those in authority of the FDA have millions of $$$ reasons to look the other way.
The FDA has more important work.
https://thenewamerican.com/us/politics/pure-evil-fda-purchased-baby-heads-and-body-parts-demanded-fresh-and-never-frozen/
Well when it came to Covid, Trump directed them to do whatever it took to bring those vaccines out as fast as possible.
The COVID jab isn’t a vaccine, it’s gene therapy. It should take at least ten years of testing to make sure there isn’t any unintended, harmful side effects. This gene altering method of manufacture will be applied to all “vaccines” because it is more cost effective to produce. I have a sibling who has a graduate degree in biological chemistry, and has been managing a lab that produces chemical compounds for pharmaceuticals. I find it ironic that people who refuse to eat genetically modified foods willing allow genetically modifying “vaccines” into their bodies.
Given that it is gene altering, I don’t believe any amount of testing is “enough”; the stuff should just be banned.
First, lets look at “regular” drug testing. First faze, they test on tissue samples, liver, kidneys, etc.
Then, on animals…then on healthy volonteers with NO chronic conditions,..then on otherwise healthy ‘volonteers’, except they have the illness or condition the medication is intended to treat.
And, they must not be taking any other medications, or have any other chronic conditions…
And then it gets to the FINAL STAGE of drug trsting, aka MARKETING, where it is sold to millions of people, Worldwide,…people who may well have multiple other chronic conditions, and be taking multiple other medications,…and THATS when they begin to record the “contraindications” “adverse drug interactions” and “rare but serious side effects”.
For instance, until the marketed Statins to millions, they could not discover that 1:100,000 people who take it, have their liver shredded in short order, any testing would not uncover this…
And, this is DRUGS, that do NOT alter the genes of the recipients,…and so their offspring.
MRNA should be banned technology, just like GOF.
mRNA technology is coming to our food supply next.
Eat a salad, fight a cold.
Eat a taco, lose weight.
Drink your coffee and change your eye/hair color.
Have a piece of pizza, lower your blood pressure.
All without any oversight from the government and of course without your permission, since the entire population is too stupid to understand the wonderful benefits they just can’t explain exist.
Dutchman is there a way to find out if a drug has gone through this “regular” testing? In my opinion doctors should make sure that they have been tested by this method before prescribing it to their patients! I am sure I am dreaming by saying this should happen, but one can dream!
They had to change the definition of the word vaccine just to be able to call the clot shot a vaccine.
They removed the words immunity and antibodies, and replaced them with the words “some protection”.
Q.
Why did big pharma ask a court to seal all the data, testing results, communications, emails and financial transactions associated with the clot shot for 75 years?
The dead cannot stand trial. 75 years is far enough into the future to exceed the typical lifespans of nearly everyone with the least bit of culpability in any wrongdoing.
Perceptive comments.

“They won’t listen to us because we are moms, they call us crazy,” this is what a mother told me on the plane right back from a protest in California. Demoralized and sad, she was tear stricken at what had been done to her and millions of other moms across the country.
Totally dismissed by doctors. Looked at like she was crazy and didn’t even know her own children. Smeared by everyone from media from friends.
They listened today, and today RFJ JR was confirmed.
RFK Jr’s confirmation today is the culmination of ten-of-thousands of hours of moms who were gas lit, abused, and tossed aside by the political and medical establishment.
In 2019 I met these moms during a protest in California. The state was ending all vaccine exemptions, even for children who had been vaccine-injured.
This was a new world for me. I had flown up to Sacramento on a lark. I hadn’t given the vaccine issue much thought, and had conventional views on them. The stories were heart breaking and several themes emerged.
Moms know their children better than anyone. A healthy child would go in for their shots, the child would change. Doctors would mock the mothers who asked if there was any connection. Moms were told that they didn’t know what was happening with their children.
“We aren’t anvi-vaccine, we took our children to get vaccinated. That’s how we ended up here.”

No parents wants to believe that they may have made a medical choice that altered their child’s life forever.
Every human impulse would lead one away from being anti-vaccine.
RKF JR, or “Bobby” as all the moms called him, was banned from social media, along with Del Bigtree.
There wasn’t much interest in the censorship that Bigtree and Kennedy faced. I would post about it and everyone went, “Meh.” This wasn’t a cause conservatives or supposed free-speech liberals wanted to embrace. It was unpopular, these were the wilderness years.
The moms showed up to every city council meeting. They fought against Covid, they resisted medical tyranny at every gate.
Today is their day, as much or more so than RFK JR’s.
The people are listening now.
And today the fight has only begun.

The Ukraine owes its wealth to the US corporates, but the US and their corporates owe nothing to the massacred Ukrainians and their other vassals. Fair.

When this god forsaken Ukraine war is over, the Ukraine needs to keep whatever mineral rights are within it’s borders. I don’t pretend to guess what President Trump has in mind but I trust him explicitly. We must never forget what the Allies did to Germany after WWI and we don’t need a repeat of the Versailles Treaty.
I agree totally. Ukraine can keep it’s rare earth minerals, if there really are any, and the United States can keep it’s money! That’s the bargain we need.
President Trump wants the minerals as collateral for the billions of dollars we have loaned them.
The EU loaned Ukraine money….
Biden just gave our money away.
🤷♀️ 💁♀️
🤣 🤣 And the money EU recently “loaned”
was based on the interest earned on the
Billions of frozen Russian assets in European banks.
It is illegal. And has the potential to boomerang 🪃
big time…..and not in favor of EU.

Link from “X” re the WSJ
The WSJ pivoted to being a useless liberal rag long ago. Even the editorial page has turned generally useless.
If still in print form, it can be used to line the bottom of the bird cage.
Now, now. It is very useful, for lining the bottom of a bird cage, to catch the crap the birds produce.

Implementing The President’s “Department of Government Efficiency” Workforce Optimization Initiative

Trump Gives DOGE New Teeth; New JFK Assassination Inquiry Starts
Crossroads with Joshua Philipp
13 Feb 2025
Per Andy Biggs on warroom- they will be doing a 1 yr CR in March. All FJB spending will continue. WTF!!
Didn’t see the Biggs clip, but if PDJT doesn’t agree, what happens? Where in our laws does government need to use continuing resolutions?
I’m hopeful the President forces Congress to do their job and provide a budget for October 1, 2025.
Why? The 65k federal employees (so far) that have taken the buyout are covered until September 30th. This date ends the fiscal year.
DOGE plus a budget could actually demonstrate success to the moonbats at the midterms. A CR, not so much.
Yes, despite Coffee and Covids optimism, the real battle has always been with the RINOS, not the Dems.
However, I do think when Musk SAID “Millionaire BEAUROCRATS” every member of Congress, both houses HEARD “Millionaire POLITICIANS” because of coarse the exact same “simple” question applies…
“HOW did you become a multi-millionaire, on a Congressional salary?”
Its ALWAYS been “out there”,…Peter Schweitzer has written numerous books on it,…but due to control of the narrative, they have always managed to suppress, ignore and evade the question.
I bet 535 anus’s puckered, plus a LOT of Congressional staffs, when Elon said that.
And, by keeping that question in the public awareness, any resistance in Congress, by the F’ing RINOS, may be suppressed, as they are trying to go unnoticed…
Look how they have caved, on PDJT’s nominees..
Rinos in the House will torpedo everything PDJT has accomplished in the last month.
Make book on it.
not this time
Trump promised to pay through the fiscal year (9/30/2025). The CR allows PDJT to spend money and develop an actual real budget – dept by dept for from 10/2025 to 12/2025 for a budget through 9/30/2025 with regular order (annual budget) for 10/2025 thru 10/2026.
My two cents.
Just because they fund the agencies, Trump doesn’t have to use the money, right? He is the executive officer. Can’t he reduce the spending in areas where fraud is funded and hold the money to be refunded until next budget?
Historically, government agencies go on spending sprees if they have any money left near end of fiscal year because if they don’t use it, they not only lose it but it may also be reduced the following year.
“In reality, its not me they are after, its you”.
Thomas Massie
@RepThomasMassie
USAID funded an organization that fabricated evidence which was used to impeach President Trump. The Deep State frequently funds regime change efforts abroad, but when it uses taxpayer money to undermine our own government, isn’t that treason?
Video linked…
https://x.com/RepThomasMassie/status/1890186529676447864
And
We need to get on the phone and tell the House NO on the CR…no continuation of Biden funding!!!
….bearing in mind, of course, that the task of actually producing a national budget is something these yahoos have not done for well over a decade, and many of them have NEVER participated in that task because the last one actually prepared and passed by Congress was done before they arrived in DC.
Any successful effort to stop the CR will leave a pretty big blank place on the map since there is no budget proposal on the table.
I’m certainly not suggesting that “therefore the CR should be approved”….just pointing out that….”NO on the CR” should involve some awareness…..(bearing in mind).…….it’s not like Congress is prepared to deal with either passing a budget or the necessary appropriations bills.
Congress may not be prepared for it, but President Trump can help them out by having all of the agency heads submit realistic budget proposals individually per agency.
Congress can than use those proposals as a starting point for drafting appropriations bills subject to the normal legislative process. It need not be more complicated than that.
and hopefully the dems will know better than to submit a lot of their normal pork.
If I understand you correctly, those appropriations bills would be drawing funds from the new CR bill?
That could be a productive first step, yes. Thank you.
I can solve that very easily – all funding EXCEPT SS, military pay, military continuing operations, and government utilities is hereby shutoff and only those listed as exceptions shall be able to continue to draw at their current funding levels.
I.E. SHUT IT DOWN till a real SERIES of budget bills have been passed.
Since Trump is renaming things, I fully endorse him renaming all of America’s fault lines after Democrats near the fault lines.
Mount Harris?
Willie Brown would be right there with Sir Edmund Hillary in the history books.
In southern IL…the New Madrid Fault could be Pritzker’s fault…
Rainbow Falls in SF -> Pelosi Falls
; )
Congress:
-releases a 2025 budget for discussion
-budget carries forward the j brandon (expensive) spending
-one big, reconciliation bill
-does not include dept. cuts of the line items that DOGE is finding (waste, fraud, abuse)
-$ 200 billion in cuts in a year, is just a beginning, when the annual deficit is $ 2 Trillion
-the 12 separate budget bills, are being ignored again,
-Congress / staff is leaving DC area for 10 days
-a budget is due in 1 month (Mid March)
We can do much better on the budget,
Apparently that remains to occur….
During President Trump’s first term getting a proposed budget over to Congress was a quick priority.
Can President Trump veto and shut the Government down? What would be the. Harm?
Stop funding Doge, deportations, dhhs etc…..
I can see why some swamp rats would hope for a shutdown.
Veto the CR, and shut it down…see how urgent they treat it,…then.
Please dont throw me in the brier patch.
Ya know, a strong parent would with hold the wayward child’s allowance.
I’ve tried to find a good summary of the Trump/Modi trade deal. It was rumored that more workers from India were going to be allowed in, but I can’t determine whether that is true.
There appears to be a lot of opinion that Modi got skinned alive, but it’s short on specifics.
I have read that it is only a small number of illegal immigrants that are going back.
“There appears to be a lot of opinion that Modi got skinned alive, but it’s short on specifics”
Skinned alive? Ahahaha. Modi is currently the most popular world leader. American worker productivity is at an all-time low and our students are consistently ranked number 20 or below. Throw in “quiet quitting, minimal effort Mondays, safe spaces, addition to social media, feather bedding” etc. It’s clear we need the best and the brightest where ever they come from.
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/charted-approval-ratings-of-24-world-leaders-in-2025/
I have been here at The Treehouse for at least 10 years. For the vast majority of this time it has been a common complaint, here, that America is graduating it’s students with worthless degrees and it’s high school graduates are in many cases, functionally illiterate.
I place the blame at the feet of educators who are only in it for the benefits and money and bad parenting. Bad parenting which is mostly a result of government interference. Too many families need 2 incomes to survive and the State and Federal governments interfere with good parents being able to discipline their children and those same governments enable bad parents.
American students have great brains, the equal to any on Earth, but our government seems to be bending over backwards to insure the failure of a great majority.
I have been to many teacher-parent meetings where it’s repeatedly said by the professional educators that “learning should be fun!”
NO … sometimes learning is a matter of keeping your sorry ass in a chair and studying. Yeah … let’s never mention to children anything to do with self discipline. What used to be a motivating factor, helping to make our country great, by contributing in a positive manner, seems to have disappeared. We don’t teach American History or Civics and we sure don’t teach Love of God or healthy self respect.
I don’t know whose statistics to believe anymore? I don’t know the actual number of needed tech workers but I can offer up much anecdotal evidence about American young people who cannot do basic math, understand anything beyond rudimentary English and absolutely have no knowledge of geography or history.
I believe MOST motels in the US, aside from chains, are actually run by Indians? Anyhow, I mostly deal with Indians when I work in motels and it is usually an unpleasant experience. Every Indian I have ever met have first rate math skills but the class/caste deal is extremely off-putting.
I believe that some of this was an intentional plan to dumb down our children so they could more easily controlled as adults. Evidence of this is the fact that actual adults voted for both Biden and Kamala in 2020 and then again in 2024.
“Skinned alive” refers to the opinion of many of the deal itself, what he got for what he had to give up.
We have the best and the brightest right here, and even if we didn’t, we certainly wouldn’t be getting them from India.
Clearly we have many smart people here but not enough to compete on a global stage. How did we put people on the moon in 1969 (hint: German rocket scientists)? You seem in denial that India, with over a billion people, is capable of producing their share of the best and the brightest. Some of the best engineers, computer scientists and management consultants I’ve worked with were Indian. If the US expects to be a player moving forward, we can’t do it exclusively with homegrown talent. My perception is that you see it as a zero-sum game and are willing to watch America gradually fade away rather than allow the best and brightest Indians to work here. I’d rather “grow the pie” and not lose out to China (or one of the 20 countries with smarter kids who understand advanced mathematics before they graduate high school).
The problem is that all the best and brightest here in the USA were let go so they could hire the cheap Indians.
I, personally, lost my career to a RIF where the H1B dudes got to stay. Then I lost a business when the H1B staffing companies flooded the market with cheap labor….
Unless you have experienced the devastation of all of your friends and colleagues no longer able to work in the profession…. the ones who lost everything (including by suicide), then don’t bother trying to talk about your “perception” of what we “see”.
Like hell. Send them back and stop this H1B bullshyte.
“most popular world leader” – false. He oversees a country with one of the largest populations, but you neglect to include people all across the globe that love PDJT and wish THEY had a leader like he is.
As far as best and brightest – your comment is pure BS. This nation is filled with the best and brightest – a considerable number of which have been shunted to the side in order to hire barely functional cheap slave labor from abroad.
Here’s India for you…
Very colorful map … possibly more persuasive if the numbers had meaning.
So you’re position is a country with 1.2 billion people (thousands of which have received masters and PhDs from US universities in engineering, computer science and business) could not possibly have any of the “best and brightest” and that a country of 350 million has a monopoly on them.
Denial and blaming behavior are not winning strategies in the hyper-competitive, ruthless global marketplace. The “best and brightest” Americans (with a strong work ethic) will never be unemployed.
How many of those thousands with “masters and phD’s” really have those achievements?
You cannot win this particular argument here at CTH. We all know, firsthand, what the issue is.
Jamie Dimon isn’t impressed either.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/jpmorgan-chase-ceo-jamie-dimon-goes-employees-who/
Very colorful strawman.
The numbers have great meaning, as your own attempted deflection shows.
Nowhere did I say the U.S. had a monopoly on the best and brightest. I most definitely did however indicate that there was zero need for thousands, much less tens of thousands, from any other country, much less India.
Your last paragraph is a pure lie for which there are thousands of examples of, some of which were shared on this very site after the moronic statement by Ram-a-swammy. If you wish to see some, go read through the extensive discussions held over multiple threads here.
ps. I am completely unimpressed with “masters and PhDs” from US Universities – or much of anywhere – having worked with quite a few PhDs that gave true meaning to the acronym of Piled Higher and Deeper. A piece of paper means only 1 thing – you MIGHT have memorized some information for a short period of time.
The Treehouse is better when diverse opinions derived from diverse experiences are shared and considered. For example, I lack military experience and gladly defer to those who do. However, there appears to be a distinct lack of international business experience here. Unfortunately, where some commenters lack business consulting experience they compensate with emotion and conviction. With American worker productivity at all time lows and debt at all time highs, “brown man bad” seems especially counterproductive. Long live the prom queens … they have a bright future on OnlyFans.
It’s interesting how people speak the words of “Trust the Exspurts” only and often completely dismiss even the possibility that others may have much broader experience than they posit, based predominately upon their disagreement with them. Unfortunately, consultants often view themselves as the true and only correct purveyors of knowledge on subjects, completely dismissing those with much deeper and broader experiences in the trenches and on the front lines of industries – dismissing that knowledge out of hand. Instead they make sweeping statements from their lofty perch of abstraction. It helps nobody and advances the conversation not one wit.
I would take it strictly from your closing several comments that you’re a died in the wool progressive who interjects copious quantities of emotion where there is little, racism where there is none, attempts to use shame about singular, fractional examples of a whole, and thinks self-named exspurts are the singular gatekeepers of truth in their futile attempts to make a valid point or dismiss a differing viewpoint.
The cold, hard reality is that a majority of Americans don’t give a tinker’s damn what pigmentation a person has or what historical native country of their bloodline comes from – and anyone who actually thinks that’s the core of the issue is an utter fool – as are those who look who use an entire distribution to debate a subject that centers on the outer bands of the distribution.
I leave you with a silly phrase on the level of your own – long live those who bath in tubs of dung and drink deeply of the sacred yellow liquid from their gods – they have a bright future on the pages of National Geographic.
Who drew up this map and who provided the numbers?
The meandering distance for shipping physical materials, energy to the other side of the planet India – USA, and vice versa
looks to be a challenge – and possible.
But, Has anyone wondered if ‘credits’ or ‘exchanges’ could be prearranged with a geographically closer partner,
such that for instance
‘energy’ could be shipped Saudi Arabia to India (and the USA getting credit due to an exchange relationship with a partner)
with a lower cost of shipping (via a tri-lateral agreement)?
I do not know
Russia is really close…
The comment that “There appears to be a lot of opinion that Modi got skinned alive… ” is rubbish. I know that without knowing very much about the deal.
First, President Trump never has and still doesn’t as President try to skin anyone. He makes deals on reciprocity, deals that work for both parties.
What about Ukraine not being in NATO, you might ask. That is the deal and in that case it is hard reality. Russia has made it clear for many years that they won’t accept it. The reason is it threatens their security.
So yes, President Trump makes reciprocal deals, but deals that account for reality.
What he doesn’t do is try to skin anyone. He looks for win-win in all negotiations.
Always follow the money. It’s worth noting Britian treasury has been getting drained of gold when you see banks in a country, South Korea, halt movement of silver bars.

Sometimes its the “simple” quedtions, that are the most illuminating,…for instance;
If a “Non-Governmental Organisation” can not exist and function, without Government funding,…how can it BE a “Non-Governmental Organisation”?
Isn’t that conclusive proof that it IS, in fact a GOVERNMENTAL Organisation?
Like “Where are the female to male trans, demanding to be allowed to compete against MEN in sports, or be incarcerated in MENS prisons?”
Sometimes, its the ‘simple’ questions, that cut right through the bullshit.
.
I’m wondering where in the U.S. Constitution it says that the government can take money from some people and give it to others, individuals or entities — in ANY way… and for ANY purpose…

Congressional leaders given access to surveillance court in bid for more transparency
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), which operates in near total secrecy due to the nature of its work, will begin allowing a select group of congressional leaders, or their proxies, to observe proceedings in-person for the first time starting this week. They can also attend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review, which hears the rare appeals from the lower court.
Congressional visitors won’t have a “full picture because they will not be able to put it in context” and by the time an application lands on the judge’s desk “it might well have been shaped to be more appropriate for what the judge might approve because they’ve weeded out some things that were problematic or of greater legal concern.”
Not just anyone from Capitol Hill can show up at the court.
A November 18 memo signed by Matthew Olsen, the now former chief of DOJ’s National Security Division, details who can be present at the court and the security protocols they must adhere to.
The memo, and a “prioritization list” — copies of which were obtained by Recorded Future News — specifies the two dozen people who can go. The group includes the “Gang of 8,” made up of the top two congressional leaders in each chamber and the Republican and Democratic heads on the House and Senate intelligence committees.
The roster also includes the leaders of the two Judiciary committees, which share jurisdiction over FISA with the Intelligence panels. Both groups already have access to FISC materials but there is often a lag; policymakers sometimes must demand information to be turned over.
Lawmakers can also pick “designated staff” to attend FISC activities, which occur in a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) in a courthouse in Washington, on their behalf.
It doesn’t matter – FISA NEEDS ELIMINATED – along with the entire “Patriot Act” and all the hell spawn it created.

Maybe Tucker could find some pictures of the weapons the cartels are using.
What about the keystone pipeline? Has that been dropped?
When the Biden Administration revoked a presidential permit for Keystone XL in 2021 — which otherwise would have allowed the pipeline to cross the Canada-U.S. border — TC Energy filed a damage claim against the U.S. government for US$15 billion.
TC Energy argued a provision of an old trade pact between the United States and Canada, which had allowed such damage claims, applied to the Keystone XL permit denial even though a new trade pact in place since 2020 excluded such claims.
The international arbitration tribunal disagreed and dismissed TC Energy’s claim on July 12, 2024

Supposedly, bird flu has been spreading silently among veterinarians for some time now. If this is indeed the case, then so what? It’s like covid all over again only this time we don’t have an upcoming Biden admin to mess everything up. Good luck trying to get Trump to close the economy down now, suckers.
Also, anyone else get the flu this year? I was the sickest I’ve ever been. Covid was a cakewalk. I wonder if it’s already transmitting between person to person anyway. Many people who say they’ve gotten the flu shot say that it didn’t do anything at all for this strain. Yes, I know that the shot only has a 30% chance of working (hence why I don’t even bother).
https://esstnews.com/2025/02/14/cdc-evidence-that-bird-flu-spread-silently/
I have heard from people who got the flu this year, for the first time in years, and they have been quite ill with it.
That would be me. I hadn’t had it in years. It took about a month before the residual side effects left.
Hubby and I had the flu, and some friends who live 100 miles away had a bad flu, too.
While in the midst of it I read about vitamin c and how IV vitamin c had saved a man’s life who was expected to die of swine flu back in the late 1980s (I believe that’s when it was). If his family had not fought to have the hospital give him IV C they are sure he would have died.
At the end of the video from Australia (think it was 60 Minutes Australia) the hospital stopped giving the man IV C so the man’s family found and started administering liposomal vitamin c.
After seeing that I checked into liposomal C, read about Linus Pauling, a man who’d won 2 Nobel prizes in scientific stuff (sorry I don’t have all the facts here, but you can read about Linus), and yet when Linus starting saying that vitamin c could cure many different diseases, he was poo pood.
Anyway, I looked for liposomal vitamin c, found it all over the internet, and bought a few small bottles of the liquid to keep on hand.
Three days later it arrived. I took it, feeling like road kill, and 6 hours later I looked back and realized that at some point along the way the c kicked in and gave me lots of energy to work until midnight.
It was crazy good.
Talking to our friends 100 miles away a few days later I learned they’d been sick even longer than we had, so I sent them a care package, including a bottle of liposomal c.
Two days later the woman, who had been especially hit hard, recounted having the same experience I’d had.
I gave a third bottle away, same effect.
Don’t know if it works the same way for everyone, but it worked so well for us I bought five 16 oz bottles so we can take it every day.
It is one of the vitamins that is supposed to fight cancer, too.
Smart girl! Vitamin C is an absolute toxin neutralizer.
Liposomal encapsulated C is as bioavailable as IV administered – it gets into the cell easily & is used fully.
Where did you order your C from???
I just checked and Amazon has it in liquid, capsule and powder forms.
Oops, forgot to say I got all the liposomal vitamin c from various sellers on ebay.
I read that liposomal c is even better at getting to where it’s supposed to, and being better absorbed, than IV C because of the encapsulation. That would be super groovy if it is true.
The small bottles I bought, and still have a few, are vitablosom liposomal vitamin c 2000mg. That is liquid formula that reminds me of tinctures.
Since I wanted to try a couple other brands/types I bought 3 Mercola liposomal vitamin c 2000mg, 15.2 ozs. That stuff comes out thick, like what I originally saw on tv. It is citrus vanilla flavor and should be mixed with at least a little water when you take it. I put the 2 tbls in a small juice glass, fill it with water and stir. My husband loves the flavor — it tastes like a Dreamsicle. Yummy.
The other two bottles we haven’t tried yet. They are VThrive lipsomal vitamin c 3000mg in 15 oz bottles.
I read lots of stuff about taking liposomal vitamin c. Some people say just take your limit of 2000mg/2gr or you’ll get sick. Some sites say 2000mg is way too much. One site said to take 2000mg, then 2 hours later take another 2000mg, then 2 hours after that take another 2000mg, until you reach a point where you get the runs. When you reach that point, they say you should go back to the last 2000mg you took, remove it, and you’ll know how much c your body needs.
For now we’ll just stay with the 2000mg.
I also printed out instructions from years ago that tells how much vitamin c a person needs to battle certain diseases. I keep a book of important stuff to have in case the SHTF and there are no more doctors or internet for research, and those instructions went in there. Interesting that those instructions clearly say that before you start ramping up the vitamin c for any disease, first you have to determine the c level the patients bowels can tolerate, and once you hit that number, that is what they should take.

I’m hoping our new MAHA direction includes VC as a staple in every mindset & worldview.
*Most especially* for alcoholism & drug addiction… but everyone without exception needs this nutrient for optimal health.
I had alcoholic family members and I’ve read a huge amount of research on VC in treating addictions in particular.
VC is basically illegal in mainstream allopathic medicine *because* it effectively resolves so many horrible conditions!
Nutrition in general is verboten in mainstream ConMed – for that reason.
Me too. I never take the shots or Covid shots. I was down for more than a week.
Bird flu does not affect humans. Any one stating otherwise is lying to us.
Do not be afraid, please. Take good care of yourself (good food, exercise, sun, and human interactions, i.e., all the forbidden things from the covid era) and be at peace with Our Lord.
Occasionally humans will get pink eye from avian flu, but that is it. No big deal
Where did you dig that up from?
It can cause some symptoms, but so far all have been mild except you guessed, the elderly and infirm. They’re really trying to repeat covid all over again. NO ONE is going to lockdown. They desperately want Trump’s economy to crash.

Been awhile since I heard
Hoosegow.
Thanks for the smile.
Bookkeeping errors?
No, he got arrested and convicted because the progressives are looking for anything to hurt him and a New York jury was more than happy to comply. The prosecution and judge lied and condoned lying, in addition to not following the law.
This attempt at hurting President Trump worked as well as it did because most people, and apparently the jury, had trouble grasping the issues.
None of it had anything to do with bookkeeping.
He was charged over falsifying business records. I didn’t say he was guilty.
Why “MAY” All the evidence says she’s guilty of breaking the USA immigration laws. Failing to arrest these people isn’t a good thing. We need action – not words.

“The Associated Press continues to ignore the lawful geographic name change of the Gulf of America. This decision is not just divisive, but it also exposes the Associated Press’ commitment to misinformation. While their right to irresponsible and dishonest reporting is protected by the First Amendment, it does not ensure their privilege of unfettered access to limited spaces, like the Oval Office and Air Force One. Going forward, that space will now be opened up to the many thousands of reporters who have been barred from covering these intimate areas of the administration. Associate Press journalists and photographers will retain their credentials to the White House complex.”
Isn’t this name change from “Gulf of Mexico” to “Gulf of America” a comical President Trump trolling stunt? I don’t see any necessity or advantage to it and never heard a single human being ever mention it, ever?
President Trump hosted SNL in 2004 and 2015. We must not forget this.
Nope. Biden banned drilling in Gulf of Mexico.
President Trump renamed it.
Trolling stunt?
You’re still not getting Trump.
Yesterday, I watched a presser Trump held. Behind him was a very large map of the United States and in big bold letters were the words “Gulf of the United States” where you would normally expect to see “Gulf of Mexico.”
Not trolling at all.
I will wait a while to see the outcome.
Why did the map you saw say, “Gulf of the United States” and not the “Gulf of America”?
It allows oil drilling in the gulf, working around a Brandon order about “no drilling in the Gulf of MEXICO”…
I am not a big fan of name changing to suit the powers that be. I saw no problem with “Mt. McKinley” instead of “Denali” and no problem with “Fort Bragg”.
It was formerly custom to name aircraft carriers after famous US Navy ships and famous US battles.
Lexington, Saratoga, Enterprise, Hornet, Wasp, Yorktown, Ranger, Midway, Coral Sea etc.
Now we’re naming aircraft carriers after political figures.
It’s not a red line or a hill to die on for me, just a preference.
I am hoping President Trump’s Presidential Library will be a part of a huge university named for him. A new university from the ground up.
I think the Gulf of America was to prove a point. Name changing is stupid and now they have nothing to say.
I am surprised Biden did not change the name of Fort Sumter. Or Fort McHenry.
Agree with a general distaste for the entire renaming of places, destruction of historical objects – including statues and art, the attempts to redefine words and create new ones, and the rest of the related insanity of the last several decades.
In regards to ships – my own preference is for the historical norms, but have no real issue with that kind that doesn’t involve renaming something already named.
Kind of like the flag pole gig and landscaping at MAL, to make the flag pole consistent with ‘code’.
It makes perfect sense.
The gulf of America is in the Americas.
There’s south America, central America and North America.
Ps. Mexico is in the Americas too.
Should we rename the “Caribbean Sea” to the “American Sea”? It makes sense for all the reasons you just mentioned. How about the “Atlantic Ocean” to the American Ocean”? India gets an ocean so why not us? Even Antarctica got an ocean.
Already done… we now have 3 oceans!

Never concern yourself about those who whisper in shadows. As can be seen in the videos hosted on BC, this has been openly discussed by governments, politicians, and oligarchs for decades – it isn’t a secret. I have never seen it as intense as the last week.
This is costing someone (probably us) billions.
The counterargument being put out is that hanging aluminum particles in the air confuses missile guidance systems, or something, so there is a national security need until the Iron Dome comes together.
I have no way to evaluate that claim.
I saw them on Monday, and by Weds. we had lots of snow in the Chicago region. Followed by brutal cold…single digits.
Chaff (metallic particles) is in fact used to foil radar guided air-to-air missiles, but trying to use that as an argument for filling the entire sky with them when there are no missiles in flight is absurd IMO. In fact, if the nation was under some kind of major attack, chaff and flares would do absolutely nothing to help, as the weapons used would be impervious to such measures…
Contrails are mostly water vapor clouds caused by the condensation of water vapor from the combustion of av gas by jets up in the stratosphere, onto tiny particles that give nucleation sites to the water vapor to make visible droplets (clouds).
The stratosphere has more than the normal amount of water right now because of the Hunga Tonga Hunga A’apei volcano eruption in 2022, which add 10% of the GLOBAL amount of water vapor in the stratosphere, TO the stratosphere.
With more water vapor available, more visible droplets are made and take longer to re-evaporate than before.
When a weather system is moving in, there is more water vapor available and contrails are denser and last longer. With dry skies in the stratosphere, the contrails are short and evaporate quickly.
Having said all that, now we have 4-5 Starlink satellites deorbiting every day. Every Starlink that deorbits puts about 65 pounds of aluminum oxide aerosols in the upper atmosphere from the vaporization of the metals in the satellite.
Aerosols reflect sunlight away from the Earth (skies getting darker, anyone?) which causes . . . GLOBAL COOLING!

Biden appointed New York US Attorney Damian Williams had political ambitions…
Deputy AG Emil Bove letter firing Acting SDNY US Attorney Sassoon:
“After President Trump won the election, in late-December 2024, the former U.S. Attorney (Damian Williams) launched a personal website—which closely resembles a campaign website—that touts articles about the ongoing prosecution of Mayor Adams with titles such as “U.S. Attorney Damian Williams has come for the kings,” “A mayor, a rapper, a senator and a billionaire: Meet the man who has prosecuted them all,” and “Federal Prosecutor Damian Williams Flexes SDNY Power Against Eric Adams and Sean Combs.”
The former U.S. Attorney increased the appearances of impropriety by releasing an op-ed on January 16, 2025 entitled, “An indictment of the sad State of New York government.” In that piece, he disparaged Mayor Adams with the following comment: “America’s most vital city is being led with a broken ethical compass.”
The former U.S. Attorney also made what I reasonably interpreted as a reference to himself in that piece when he suggested that there was a need for “elected officials” willing to “disrupt the status quo.”
You did not directly defend the former U.S. Attorney’s behavior in response to a recent defense motion. Nor could you. His actions inappropriately politicized and tainted your office’sprosecution, potentially permanently.”

While restoring the right to use lead in ammo and fishing tackle is great….people need to remember that Obama shut down ALL of our lead mining and smelting capacities during his administration.
We need to open those mines and smelters back up. Re-opening the lead aspect of those mines gives an extra way to make copper/zinc mines great again!
Artists have used Lead White paint for centuries, Now Minnesota in its wisdom has banned it along with all cadmium paint, As a painter it infuriates me that some nin com poop can decide for me if I am Allowed to use something. Absolute stupidity!!!!!!
During the Obama reign, there was a gun range off of Lake Michigan that was in the news due to the ‘lead contaminants’ being deposited in the lake. I don’t remember what happened to the range, there was talk of closing it.

JUST IN: Jens Spahn, a high-ranking member of the top German opposition party, says the EU should consider a 0% tariff on American imports to avoid President Trump’s reciprocal tariff.
“We as Europe could offer to go to zero [tariffs] for all US goods, and then say we would expect the same the other way around. And then we could try to discuss a common approach toward China… The European Union has big leverage on China.”
If Europeans had any brains left, they would do this.
Actually having true free trade? Believe when I see it.
A 0% tariff will not do the trick, because the US maintains that their 20% VAT tax is equivalent to a tariff. Germany would also have to drop the vat.
Note the PDJT considers their VAT just another form of tariffs. Europe also has one of the most import and regulatory systems in the world, making it almost impossible to do business there for foreign companies.
The BMW and Mercedes are popular vehicles…wondering if someone did the math?
Considering when a Cadillac goes to Europe that hit it with tariffs and the vat which causes a 50,000 dollar car here to cost 65,000 there. That is what we are combating.
We do not do the same with BMW and Mercedes.
Happy Valentines Day!

Since CJ Roberts never bothered to rein in the federal judges interfering in Trump first term, this article shows how congress could do it. These rogue judges in term 2 have opened a can of worms they will regret. Where there is a will there is a way.

Dear Mr.
@PeteHegseth
@SecDef ,
I am writing to extend my deepest apologies for the highly inappropriate and disrespectful comments made by Magdalena Fitas-Czuchnowska @MagdaFitas, the official interpreter during your meeting with the Polish Ministry of National Defense.
Calling you a “tattooed criminal reoffender idiot” on @X
was way out of line, and I’m really sorry you had to deal with that kind of people during today’s meeting.
Let me be clear: her comment doesn’t reflect the perspective of Polish citizens.
It’s just the narrow, misguided vision of the President Trump’s administration by the ruling coalition under PM Donald Tusk.
Polish citizens respect the work you’re doing for strenghtening security in Europe and value the strong relationship between our nations

And to be clear: I do not represent polish government under PM Donald Tusk. Moreover, as independent legal scholar I think that democracy and freedom of speech in Poland are at stake. This is why I really appreciate today’s @JDVance speech.

Seventh SDNY Prosecutor Assigned to Eric Adams Case Abruptly Resigns in Protest Over DOJ’s Decision to Drop Corruption Charges
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/02/another-prosecutor-assigned-eric-adams-case-abruptly-resigns/
i thought this was a bad thing. Do we not want Adams brought to justice? I’m confused.
He is likely completely guilty. But.. it was also seemingly a political prosecution/persecution which would not have happened if Mayor Adams didn’t start criticizing Biden’s illegal immigration agenda.
tldr: Adams is probably 100% guilty of the same class of crimes that 90% of politicians commit, 99% of whom never get prosecuted.
President Trump has a long list he can go through before he gets around to helping Biden get his revenge prosecution
In dropping the prosecution, PDJT has gained a strong ally. Hence, the Rikers Island deal.
Dropping the Lawfare charges against Mayor Eric Adams is justice!
Schumer, Nadler and other Democrats had rec’d $$$ contributions from Sam Bankman-Fried which were illegal and AG Garland ordered the SDNY to drop the charges which they did. Nobody complained!
My suspicions are that in return for this action by the President’s administration Mayor Adams is divulging a lot of information helpful in the prosecution of the states lawless players that have weaponized lawfare such as Bragg, Hochul, James and the cast of clown 🤡 judges.
President Trump has them all and they are all scared.
President Trump has many pieces in play and many people to roll.
airline tickets and helping a foreign country with building an embassy I thought I read. Ridiculous and brought on by Biden after he turned to help against illegals.
Elon Musk Derangement Syndrome is in full swing.
You have to hear this profanity-laced meltdown from a Maryland realtor and “sex therapist.”
It’s one of the most bitter, hateful, insane things you’ve ever heard:

Police in the UK release a mugshot of a woman convicted of terrorism offences. She was distressed over an earlier custody image showing her without a head covering.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14398893/Police-mugshot-ISIS-terrorist-picture-British.html
Oh, yeah. I’d know her anywhere.
If they allow her to keep her head covering in her mug shot, may we conclude that every woman with a head covering is a terrorist?
They all look alike…
I recognize the eyes. The culprit had two of them just like the sheet.
Change my mind:
“Associated Press banned from press room for not using Gulf of America”
https://edition.cnn.com/2025/02/14/media/white-house-ap-ban-air-force-one-oval-office-gulf-of-mexico/index.html
This is exactly like DEI and Cancel Culture, only from a different “righteous” angle
If I do not use someone’s pronouns I get a strike at work or fired.
If I do not use the presidents dedicated terms I get a strike or banned from the press room.
There is “right speak”, and “wrong speak”.
Convince me that this is different. I think it is exactly the same as DEI.
As if words equal actions. Words get punished.
Everything in the world was named by some human. Adam named all the animals. Adam named his wife.
AP is being banned from the Oval Office. The Oval Office is President Trump’s Office. They still have White House press privileges.
I wouldn’t equate DEI and Cancel Culture with President Trump’s actions. What ever you are convinced of is your business.
There was a discussion upthread about the upcoming budget deadline and reference to the Bannon interview of Rep Biggs.

Judge O’Toole, a Clinton appointee, was undoubtedly aware of the case’s vast public interest and the inevitable scrutiny, and wrote a thoughtful and well-reasoned five-page order. I’ll paraphrase. First, Judge O’Toole said, hey, the unions aren’t facing the Fork Directive since they aren’t executive branch employees. So the policy doesn’t harm them. Second, federal employees enjoy elaborate, hideously complicated administrative procedures that must first be fully exhausted before a district court can hear the case.
The exorcism of the USA just keeps revving up

Mugshot in the Oval Office!…
Trump hangs iconic mugshot outside the Oval Office
Perhaps its a reminder of the treatment he has received the last four years.
No disrespect to the President, but it’s his version of Sundance’s Mickey meme. Or better, “Here Be Dragons!”

TV Dems say 2 things: “nobody voted for this” & everyone hates Elon. They have learned nothing. And they lie. Read ‘em & weep on @axios:

They sound like cartoon characters who can’t carry a tune. ICK
That’s their last gig.
Not as bad as what they have been doing to the people of Appalachia, but still pretty darn bad.
Personally, I would have never asked for permission in the first place…
Of course the reason for this is actually for her benefit. This isn’t stopping her, it’s stopping everyone who wants to put bunch of homes…..maybe apartments right beside her. So, she doesn’t get special treatment, it has to apply to her, too.
I know maddening, but do a quick deed of 1 acre or minimum for each tiny home. It might be 5 acres minimum where she is. Again, she would be singing a different song if some huge developer came in putting in a 100 house subdivision right beside her.
Did you actually listen to the entire video, which included the reason she was told no? A quick deed wouldn’t solve the issue.
Having a family compound with multiple buildings is vastly different than a developer putting up subdivisions or apartments (but I would wager that either of those would be approved…)
I also strongly suspect that if she had intended to put them in a different area of her property, based upon the reason she was given a no, would have resulted in a yes. A potential 1,000 year event however isn’t one – in fact if one is willing to take on the risk themselves, a 10 year one shouldn’t be.
Was there a zoning ordinance in place specifying the minimum square footage of a home when she bought her 37 acres?
If she gets her way, shouldn’t the next door neighbors with 37 acres be allowed to build an apartment building?
Seems a lot of folks are getting very nervous…
I’m really psyched about President Trump unleashing Amercican Energy. This will kill Bidinflation.
Let’s Go USA!
The way President Trump compliments and builds up his team is amazing.
The Trump train just keeps rolling along and picking up steam.
I’m thinking $1.58/gallon of gas.
The delusional witch doesn’t realize that she and her ilk ARE the enemy…
…btw, the EU needs the US far more than the US needs the EU (in fact, there is VERY little they have to offer other than pompous, totalitarian oligarchs, mass migration policies, draconian censorship, and failed ideas). They (governments and leaders) can quite frankly do what Musk told the American people to do during the H1B discussions…
Somewhat related:
She better be careful. She’s got a “thing” for Elon and she’s gonna piss him off and he’s gonna tell her what he told the american people.
Pretty sure that was Italy’s PM, Meloni (sp?). I haven’t heard of Von DerLeyden Hosen having one on anyone other than maybe Klaus.
BTW – hope that you’ve been doing well Dixie and things have been improving.
It’s starting to be talked about – may it spread like a wild fire in Santa Anna winds. ABOLISH property taxes – as long as they exist, nobody OWNS their property – they are just renting it until such time the state can steal it.
