I have a question for the Founding Fathers.
The 2nd Amendment was put in so that the people would have the tools to rise up against a government that strayed too far from our Constitution and became repressive. Once victory was achieved, what were we suppose to do with those that sat in the senate, congress and the courts and how were we to govern until those seats could be reestablished?
Were we suppose to strip these people naked and throw them out into the cold and then have a benevolent dictator until new elections could be held?
What happens if that revolution takes place not with the 2nd Amendment but with the ballot box? do we still strip the politicians naked and throw them out into the cold and then have a benevolent dictator until election can be held?
It seems that the more that DOGE expose the width, breadth and depth of the corruption, the more it seems as though the 2024 ballot box is evolving to be more than just a referendum on commie policies.

States would run themselves until Congress and executive branch were filled by special elections or appointment. The system was set up for politics to be local and states run themselves.

The corruption runs deep into the states as well and they can not be trusted to have legit elections. Oregon has vote by mail and so a higher authority would be needed to over haul the election system and to put in safeguards, this takes time. In the interim, how is the nation to be governed?
This is the problem. States are just corrupt as the FEDs. Maybe not all states, but cerainly most states are just out of control by voters. Ranked choice primaries, mail in votes, vote counting machines permanently attached to the internet will never yield an honest election.
That’s on us. State governments are supposed to be run by locals, not by carpetbaggers. We collectively forfeited our electoral (primary) process via apathy, and allowed our political parties to put serve us garbage candidates for choices.

A recently completed research lab building at bezerkely has a “Novel” open space design.

That becomes the avenue the Democrats would absolutely use to obliterate all judges they hate. In fact, they have been trying to use that against Clarence Thomas for a very long time. It has only been due to the general resistance of this in SCOTUS to disallow it. Any such actions based on this “good Behavior” requirement would eventually reach SCOTUS and would be denied.
It would be NICE if SCOTUS created standards by which this can be used appropriately. We have completely lawless judges operating here.
President Trump’s risk in doing so is Impeachment as is the risk to the “Night Court Judge.” We know Congress would be itching to Impeach the President. Until they fire some “Peach Mint” shots at the Judges, its asymmetric risk.
Then they impeach themselves and will be removed.
I like it! FJB openly boasted about subverting the SCOTUS ruling that he not pay off student debt. Not a damn thing was done about it.
These judges are basically ordering federal employees to continue illegal, corrupt, and fraudulent payments. They are ordering people to break the law.

I don’t have a list of all the judges overriding President Trump’s administration – the one elected even with popular vote, the one with a mandate to take a second shot at “draining the swamp.” But it certainly starts to look like a cabal, a conspiracy, a seditious plot to replace our elected government with continuation of the very thing the people voted against.
This latest one, Jeanne, who “split the baby” by ruling that congress conferred legitimacy on the President’s executive authority only confirms the judiciary’s contempt for our president. It is a vapid ruling to do little and delay, to kick the can down the road until a steal can be arranged in 2026 to keep the epic grift alive as the rule of the land.
A pox on these judges. The rule of law is supposed to apply to them as well. Right now they are clearly advocates for the deep bureaucratic state and the D-rat Party. If two branches of government act in concert to deprive the third of its rights – especially when it is the only one interested in representing the long-abused people of this country – they cancel the rule of law and invite chaos. If such is the result, it is not MAGA that brought us to it.

Can a judge be indicted and arrested for obstruction of justice? These judges obstructing the President and the Executive branch investigators should be told their actions are obstructing legal oversight and investigations. They will be prosecuted for obstruction of justice.
Not for acts on the bench, that’s what the Appellate process is for (higher courts reverse errors in application of law and process) and Impeachment to remove (get rid of idiots who blatantly disregard statutory and case law).
They claim full immunity, even for criminal acts from the bench, but that needs to be tested. If the president’s immunity doesn’t extend to illegal acts, then surely a judge’s doesn’t. The Court had ruled that judges needed to be above the law in their own courtrooms so as not to be intimidated by the bad guys they were prosecuting. Now they are the bad guys. Trump said he plans to take over the Gaza Strip, transfer its Palestinian population to other countries, and rebuild the territory into the “Riviera of the Middle East”.
The US leader further questioned why Palestinians would ever want to return there when asked whether they would be allowed to return. Speaking at a White House press conference last Tuesday, with visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu looking on, Trump said that Egypt and Jordan would “give us the kind of land that we need to get this done”.
Egypt and Jordan have rejected the plan outright, with their leaders, foreign ministers, and several senior officials expressing their opposition. Arab diplomats stressed to Haaretz the gravity of the US president’s remarks on Cairo and Amman, noting that they are taking them “very seriously”.
Middle East Eye learned in early February that Jordan is ready to declare war on Israel in the event that Netanyahu attempts to forcibly expel Palestinians into its territory.

I become more disillusioned every day. This administration started out so hot and heavy. Now the pace has slowed to a crawl. The momentum has stalled and now nothing is being done to counter the process. The fact that the Democrats would use the judiciary is no surprise. Why wasn’t the president ready to counter this. Why is the DOJ so slow to respond. As the clock ticks the opportunity is lost. The agencies should be ignoring the injunctions and force the Supreme Court to make a ruling. The court can place the injunction, but the DOJ can choose not to enforce it. The judge who handed it down has no way of enforcing it himself. Keep the pressure on and blow up the whole system before it is too late.

And last I notice, Trump is pretty much ignoring these judges. DOGE continues to march forward. People are getting fired. Money is being clawed back and not spent.

So some time ago I realized when Trump restated his interest in Canada as a 51st state that he was serious and not merely taunting Trudeau.
Trump’s interest in Greenland and in Canada is probably best understood as trying to head off any Russian or Chinese threat of control. China has been corrupting the world (admittedly, so has the US… we all know it for sure now) We know Mandarin is the third most commonly spoken language in Canada. So there’s good reason not to Trust Canada as a government as it is clearly acting against the interests of its own people. To annex Canada as a US state would immediately destroy any influence China has over the region or any claims over the arctic. (Because we MUST defend the interests of Santa Claus from the unbelievers!) Greenland would further solidify national and strategic interests in the far North.
I think Trump’s interests are clear and they are based on strategies which would counter threats to this country. You can bet on that.
