Truthfully, I have no problem with Graham’s sexual life (a personal choice) and he has never flaunted it and ( as far as I’m aware as someone who lives in SC) has been extremely discrete regarding any relationships. I dislike people calling him Miss Linda…so what if he’s gay? Having said that, I absolutely disagree with him on most issues, have emailed and called his office many times. He’s a fence-sitting, seasoned career politician who plays the game very well. There’s no doubt, IMO, he’s been on the take for decades and a search into his finances would be devastating to his reputation and career. Personally, I’m all for it.

Why can’t we have THAT Charlie Rose show back again, even do re-runs as an example of congenial conversation.

When we discuss RINO senators, 3 in particular come to mind: Collins, Murkowski, and Graham. (Others here can probably point out more).
So I think since Collins is from left-leaning Maine, you have to accept that she’s the best we can expect. If you primary her, you’re likely to shoot yourself in the foot if you’re a conservative. She’s got an R behind her name, and that matters in tilting the balance of Senate power to R so we’ve got the committees under control.
But Murkowski is from Alaska, and Graham from South Carolina. Two states as right leaning as could be. Does anyone seriously think if you primary them and get some more conservative R candidate, you risk losing the R seats for Alaska and South Carolina.
BTW, I think it’s worth mentioning, lest we forget, that when D’s were attempting to smear and derail Kavanaugh’s nomination to SCOTUS, both Graham and Collins stepped up and condemned the D farce and contributed to salvaging his nomination. They’ve got some tickets with me for that.
