IMO it’s another reason these Demonrats have mandated EV’s in their states. With geo-fencing technology, which we saw officials use to disable electric scooters during the LA fires, they can probably prevent anyone from leaving “their sector,” with a kill switch. During the pandemic in CA it was ordered that we were not allowed to leave our homes except for “essential” activities such as going to buy food or get medical care, or if you were an “essential worker.” Even for those exceptions we were ordered not to leave our county. They really had no way to enforce these orders other than writing a ticket if someone got caught. Next time they will have perfected their methods of control.
The good news is most of CA law enforcement refused to comply with the Governor’s antics. Lots of LEOs left the state, giving up their great salaries, and relocated to Red States where their salaries weren’t even half of what they had, but the cost of living matched the salary cut. I know of at least two LEOs who complied, ended up with “turbo cancer” and died within 2 years. Tragic.
