NBC Today Show says it has an “advance copy” of the Inaugural Address for today.
The reporter – with a little astonished concern in her voice – said the speech promised not just a restoration, but a “revolution” in America! Especially a “Revolution in Common Sense.”
Well, I hope so!!!
America needs a revolution in everything, from personal behavior and attitudes on basic things like Honesty, Diligence, Responsibility, and Piety to returning government to its basics of protecting freedom, keeping the peace, protecting the nation, and providing an economic environment for prosperity, rather than an environment which enlarges government through massive taxation and diminishes prosperity, rather than supporting wars throughout the planet, rather than allowing breaches of our borders, rather than protecting criminals through “decriminalizing crime,” rather than restricting our Freedom in the name of supposed “fairness” and “equality.”
The hardest item in this litany is the revolution in personal behavior: we need to impress upon the future generations the importance of VIRTUES, and NOT “VALUES,” a term which I hate and detest and which is part of the bastardization of moral and political discourse by the Communists!
“Virtue” comes from the Latin word for “man,*” and meant specifically the traits one would expect from a man, a father, a grandfather, a soldier, a worker: Honesty, Courage, Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Self-Control, etc.
“Value” also comes from Latin, but deals with prices, which can change, which can be haggled over, and which can be set at different levels by people simultaneously.
Virtues do not change, cannot be debated, cannot be charted, and must be passed on to future generations by example and by instruction.
So, “let’s roll!”

Or, can they be pardoned for future acts, not yet committed?
If they are subpoened, either by Congress or a Court, can they refuse to testify, and be exempt from being cited and jsiled for contempt, because they have a Presudential pardon?
Are we guaranteed to see a SCOTUS decision, outling what are the limits of a Presidential pardon?
The statement announcing the pardons, reitrrates several FALSE NARRATIVES they have been pushing all along, like their version of J6 as a violent action by Trumps supporters, attempting to overturn the legitimate results of the election.
To me, as odious as the criminals are that prrpetuated the crimes on J6 and then covered thrm up, it is this FALSE NARRATIVE which I am more concerned about seeing totally and thoroughly repudiated now and for histories sake.
Simply having Bidens people pardon some of the perpetrators (he didn’t name Pelosi, McConnell, the pipe bomber or LEO leadershership, etc) and then having PDJT pardon the J6’ers, and then ” lets put this dark chapter behind us and move on” just WILL NOT CUT IT.
AS for Fauci and Miley, they were at the head of their respective organisations, but hardly acted alone or are the only ones culpable.
On a positive note, this shows they are scared, and can’t prevent PDJT’s administration from seeking Justice by any other means, and so are attempting to test the limits of Presidential pardons…

G’morning Dutch, IIRC, there is a caveat regarding treason. Fauci, Milley and Austin all have close ties with foreign countries and used those ties to PURPOSELY undermine the sitting President and the United States of America. Simply put, treason.

So the lady who changed her lawyer, then changed her testimony and gave the wild story about President Trump grabbing the Secret Service agent who was driving the Beast – did not receive a pardon.
Now that is going to be very interesting to see what any new legally constituted committee that looks into the real weaponization of the federal government does with her when she gets called to testify about why that happened.
A commentator on this morning’s Fox news channel said those who receive Presidential pardons are not exempt from testimony in Congress about their crimes and if they lie in new testimony going forward, there is no pardon free pass from that and future acts.
As it concerns Miley, I wonder if his “pardon”, while it is Federal, covers the UCMJ? That traitor should not be allowed to walk, much less be pensioned. And he should be at the top of the list for having any security clearance he has revoked.
What that man has done has left a black mark on the U.S. Army and he should not be allowed to escape his very deserved punishment.

Also, There is no such thing as a “preemptive pardon for acts by people who committed crimes after the issuing President left office. Pardons are only binding when issued during the term of the Presidency.
If it’s true that Biden stated in writing that they were not being pardoned for crimes committed then they weren’t pardoned.

additionally, his signature has zero value and prosecute everyone that knew he was mentally unfit for office and did nothing and/or instituted policy or regulation as if they were the President.

These are only federal pardons (if they stand the legal test of time) and don’t stop state/local charges, as well as any individual civil cases. If those being offered pardons accept, however, I do believe they are admitting guilt as per precedent set in the 1925 Burdick v the United States case/verdict. The fight continues.
If they don’t stop civil cases and they can not perjure themselves, I see no downside.
These pardons are coming from a man who gave us the 28th constitutional amendment.
If he is not in control of government, he should not be able to pardon anybody.
Remember it was already ruled that he was too impaired to stand trial for his own felony’s.
Pardons do not cover extradition. Maybe we will get lucky and the countries who have the research that proves the dangers of the covid shots were purposely ignored will demand Fauci answer questions in a Crimes Against Humanity trial.

True. Clearances are a privilege, not a right. They are also granted on a need-to-know basis. Once you leave a billet requiring a clearance, that clearance goes inactive or suspended. So why all of these folks who are no longer in service have clearances leaves me baffled. Or maybe things have really changed since I was entitled to one. Regardless, it’s a good policy, on a need-to-know basis. The President should go further, and proclaim anyone not actively serving in a government billet no longer has an active clearance.
To me it’s just symbolic, they will find a way to work around it! They have friends in the deep state/IC who will keep them informed about things that are kept from us We The MAGA People! There’s a law against leaking classified documents but that law doesn’t apply to elite Democrats like Hillary so the leakers to the 51 are safe and they know it! DC is so corrupt and I’m just as cynical! JMO But thank you President Trump!!!

It might be quicker to suspend than revoke. IIRC, Trump revoked Brennan’s security clearance, but there was a “process” that had to be gone through for it to be effective. the IC slow-walked it until Trump left office.

I like this approach. I wonder if they can break through the federal block of laws protecting Congress at the state level, but hey, if they did it to Trump, payback is fair play. Trump and Bondi need to put those “preemptive pardons” to a SCOTUS test. If they’ve been pardoned, then they cannot refuse to answer questions. If they lie, they can still be prosecuted. But I think, more importantly, Trump needs to erase these bizarre uses of the pardon power from the President’s quiver. Think of the evil things – think Germany 1945 – that can be pardoned “preemptively”.
You could “preemptively” pardon 100’s, or 1000’s, or 10,000’s of thousands of people at time, without anyone being formerly investigated, charged, prosecuted, convicted, or anything close to it.
“Show me the man, and I’ll show you the pardon”, I guess is the new thing. What this says to me is that they KNOW they were running Stalin 2.0, and now they’re saying they can’t be held accountable.
But they won’t. President Trump will take the high road, and Ms. Bondi doesn’t have it in her to be that aggressive. She has political aspirations.
Even the Airbnb mogul is on the Trump train.

Well – if he was, indeed, “a forgetful old man” against whom an indictment could not be brought – how then is he “competent” to have “signed” all of these pardons and executive orders?
I would like to please examine all of these documents. I want to look at that “Presidential Signature.” I want to check that they are not “exactly the same.”
And, I want Barak Obama to “sign Joe’s name” ten times in a row for handwriting analysis.
Fundamentally – this is never what “the Presidential Pardon Power” was intended to do. It was never to allow a crime family, headed by a “President” who might never have actually been there, to commit roughshod upon the entire nation and then “simply, waltz away” from future accountability.
We have not seen the end of this . . . nor have any of them.
Democrats play hardball. Republicans never leave the dugout.

I said in a post below that Biden’s handlers have “crossed the Rubicon.” I believe this to be true.
Beginning in the year 2016, these people recognized a fundamental threat to themselves. Over the subsequent eight years, they increasingly elevated their tactics – leaving the entire nation and indeed the world “in ruins.”
But now, literally in the last 24 hours, they have truly “crossed the Rubicon” by issuing “blanket pardons” to themselves. (At 11:59 AM, I expect Joe to “pardon himself.” Although, in truth, the actual man will probably be sucking on an ice-cream cone somewhere.)
(Hell: he might have died three years ago and we’ve been looking at a stand-in all this time. By now, “who knows?”)
Anyhow, this “Rubicon” will begin by challenging all of these “pardons.” How can a “forgetful old man,” on the one hand, be not-worth indicting? While on the other hand “he” can sign pardons?
I am utterly serious(!) when I say that I want to examine these ‘signatures.’ Are they all the same, as I suspect? (“Signature machine.”) And then, have Barak Obama “sign Joe’s name” ten times for objective handwriting analysis.
It may well be, I think, that “the entire Biden ‘Presidency'” has been a grand criminal conspiracy – the likes of which has never before even been attempted.
