2024 was mostly spent watching reruns on Prime Video of “Perry Mason” (1956-1965), “Ironside” (1966-1974) and “The Rockford Files” (1974-1980, if I am remembering the dates correctly) . . .
so after watching President Trump and that great long version of “YMCA” today with the original Village People, that was running in the background so to speak, in our minds, when starting a new episode of “The Rockford Files” and found that the Trump Dance works well with the theme music from “The Rockford Files” . . . another reason to enjoy things that are not the news!
Say, we are just now watching the episode with Rob Reiner – goodness, he looks pretty trim in a leather jacket with a belt – now he just blew off Rockford, saying they could talk while they rode along, then when Rob Reiner got to his white Rolls Royce, he told his chauffeur to dump Rockford . . . Rob, that was pretty cheesey!
Okay! How fun is this . . . watching an old episode of “The Rockford Files” with Rob Reiner in it while we do the Trump Dance. Who would have thought!
