Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

Someone in a podcast recently gave a really good explanation of USAID. It is not what it sounds like. It is our tax dollars being used to set up the infrastructure necessary to overthrow other gubts.

I know that the UK Daily mail calls people from India “Asians”. My guess is that Pakistanis are also called “Asian” when they clearly are not.
Are there other non Asian groups that get lumped in with actual Asian people? Australia is very close to many Asian countries so I can understand why they were encouraged to move to Australia.

Keith Alexander, former top cheese at NSA and CYBERCOM, was interviewed by Maria Bartiroma this morning, The subject matter was the US cyberwarfare level of risk, particularly for critical infrastructure, posed by China.
His message, as expected, was supremely dark.
Maria never dug for answers to an obvious question. Gen Alexander was designated commander of NSA by SECDEF in 2005. He was dual hatted as CYBERCOM lead (by Senate vote) in 2010. He retired from these roles in 2014. Did NSA during his watch ever collect data for American citizens in the US without warrant?
The question is intentionally phrased not to delimit specific programs (i.e., more than just the 702 data management/interface).There was considerable interest in this specific question from Congressional reps during his tenure – and suggestions from former employees. Maria never even hinted at probing in this direction.
In my mind, the larger problem is not even what did or did not occur. The biggest problem is that these people (Gen Hayden is another example) do possess deep expertise and knowledge about cyber threat actors and vulnerabilities; yet, how can they be trusted?
This is a very serious fissure in our national security posture. It shades everything in the security sphere going forward no matter who is in charge.
