To me, it wasn’t epic at all. It was just the best the hearing had to offer – which is unfortunate, because Repubs should have been much more forceful in getting the nominee through and rebuking the Dems.
Mullin simply said what should’ve been said. I can’t believe I made it through the entire hearing (especially those shrill Dem shrews) and he strikes me as playing the part of the new rooster-head. It seems like a game.

I am no fan of Mullin, either. I have sent many a scathing piece of correspondence to “my” senator from OK on his missteps, and misstatements. I have vowed to vote for whoever runs against him due to his transgressions (i.e., money for Ukraine, backstabbing by working with Democrats and RINO’s to undermine a vote, so he could grandstand and say he voted the way his constituents wanted, etc.).
