The Los Angeles fires stage was set the day they stopped issuing grazing permits in the mountains surrounding Los Angeles.

California’s native grasslands had grazing wildlife.
That wildlife is now extinct, but to maintain the grasslands you have to have grazing of some kind.
It seems to me that grazing, with permits, was a good solution to a couple of problems.
Man has been grazing since he followed a goat. It has worked for eon’s until for some reason God some how decided “Libtards” may be a good idea.

Big fires bring out the firebugs. The arsonists are attracted to fire like moths to light bulbs. Some of them just have to join in.
In 2011, a wildfire burned around 50,000 acres of mostly timberland near here in the west side of the next county to the north. An arsonist was stupid enough to go to the east side of that county and started fires there. What an idiot.
If a wildfire makes the news for more than a day or two, expect the arsonists to be triggered. That is how they act.
It such a huge problem. Our prevention officers (CAL Fire fire investigators who attend a full police academy) spend most of their time investigating and trying to nab arsonists.
Search for John Orr, he was a renowned fire investigator who is believed to to have set over 2,000 fires. He was eventually convicted including 4 counts of murder (4 people died in one fire).
Vegetation management is the only way prevent these large scale fires. You can’t stop em’ once they get established. When a fire spots ahead of itself by 1/2 or 1 mile in dry conditions in heavy wind, forget about it.
Fire resistant/proof construction in the urban interface areas along with brush clearing/thinning and cleaning up the “ladder” fuels (grass and brush under the trees, you don’t set a large tree on fire but rather an established fire in grasses into brush develops enough heat energy get the canopy going) will reduce the devastation of these fires.
I saw a true crime show about John Orr. Very interesting case.

The exchange rate yesterday was roughly .70 (.6945) Canadian to 1.00 USA.
The price of a feedlot steer yesterday was roughly 2.00 (2.01).
A 1400lb feedlot steer in the USA at $200 would cost $2800.
A 1400lb feedlot steer in Canada at $1.40(exchange rate) would cost $1960.
The USA cattleman is at a serious disadvantage to the Canadian cattleman.
I don’t think Donald Trump is concerned about the USA cattleman. He is concerned about the North American cattleman.
No, the $2 USD would convert to about $2.80 to $2.88 Canadian.

This has been a major problem in California since 2016 and nobody wants to talk about it. Of the top 20 most destructive fires in California, 15 of them have occurred SINCE they legalized marijuana in 2016. You’ll notice that they are ALL blamed on powerlines or electrical causes except two which are “undetermined.” Right.”

Fewer egg-laying hens means fewer eggs and higher prices.
According to Neilsen IQ data provided by the American Egg Board, the average price of a dozen eggs of any kind at the end of December was $4.33 — up nearly 25% from the beginning of November.
These laying hens didn’t die of the avian flu, they were slaughtered by the order of the USDA cause a small number were found to have the flu.
And I believe a PCR test is once again being used as a diagnostic tool to detect avian flu, rather than an amplifying tool for lab use.
