Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

Ten were related to firearms possession – including one for being an “alien” in possession of a firearm – and one for possession of approximately 10 pounds of the synthetic opiate.
Sanchez was also charged in Massachusetts federal court on Wednesday with possession with intent to distribute more than 400 grams of fentanyl and unlawful possession of a firearm. He had been living at the Quality Inn in Revere, where authorities found five kilograms of suspected fentanyl, an AR-style assault rifle, ammunition, two rifle magazines, digital scales and latex gloves in his room, federal prosecutors said.
The Executive Office of Housing & Livable Communities told the Boston Herald that Sanchez and his family had been living at the Revere Quality Inn since Oct. 15.
The shelter is just a short drive from Downtown Boston, where Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu has said that the city’s sanctuary policies “make everyone safer.”

A man seen in a viral video being confronted and apprehended by Los Angeles residents, and who was eventually arrested by police with an alleged blowtorch, is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) sources tell Fox News.
Los Angeles police took the man into custody after a group of local residents grabbed him near the Kenneth Fire, allegedly carrying a blowtorch, according to video from Fox 11 Los Angeles.
He is shown holding a torch head and a yellow fuel tank, before being tackled to the ground by at least five residents.
ICE sources tell Fox that he is a Mexican illegal immigrant named Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva. He is in custody due to a probation violation and has not been charged with arson.
ICE intends to place a detainer request on him – a request that ICE be notified on any release so he can be transferred into their custody and potentially deported. However, they do not expect it to be honored as California is a “sanctuary” state that largely limits local and state law enforcement cooperation with the agency.

Officials said the six-foot-tall, four-foot-wide structure was built over the past year and called its discovery “historic,” KTSM reported. CBP said federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and Mexico’s government are working to find and arrest the builders.

Good thoughts! First thoughts or jumping to conclusions, are usually more emotional, impulsive, create ideas. Second thoughts are those which help us consider all information and help us in making rational decisions and to develop those ideas.
First thoughts can and do inspire us to move to second thoughts in many cases. I would imagine more actions based on first thoughts turn out wrong, lacking, incomplete or regretted. But I think we need both at some point to be balanced in our thinking and actions.
Unfortunately those on the left seem to be first thought responders for the most part. They don’t easily move to second thought responses. There is a major divide created between first thought responders and those of us who move onto second thoughts before we take actions or speak.

The complaint fails to prove illegal discrimination and appears “meritless” on its face, legal experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
“What the complaint fails entirely to address is that Hispanic candidates are losing races not because of their race, but due to politics — if they run as Democrats, they are going to lose,” Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation and former counsel for the DOJ, told the DCNF.
He helped the agency enforce the Voting Rights Act under the Bush administration.
“In the 2023 election for the city’s mayor, the incumbent Republican, Jeff Cusat, won in a landslide with 61% of the vote,” von Spakovsky said. “The Democratic Hispanic who ran against him, Vianney Castro, received only 28% of the vote.”
