The notoriously political Judge Juan Merchan sentenced President-elect Donald Trump Friday morning for his ridiculous ‘hush money’ conviction in Manhattan. The Lawfare effort was entirely to position President Trump as the first convicted felon in the White House. That’s it. That’s the sum of motive and intent. To create a narrative.
That’s what lawfare is all about, creating public perceptions and using the judicial system to advance political goals. Few people care about the issues and the entire case is likely to be thrown out on a host of appeal reasonings.
The audio from the court sentencing hearing is below.

“They” continue to expose themselves and tell us who “they” really are. Takes names, remember faces – always follow the money.
With Trump, when are they going to learn that every attack they bring against him makes people love him more!
The ability to learn is directly related to the amount of intelligence one has.
The ability to learn is directly related to the amount of humility one has. I’ve noted that many average people appear to be geniuses because they are humble and believe that life is for learning.
I would posit that it is even more directly related to the amount of pride one has…if someone is unwilling to acknowledge how much they do NOT know, then they are often unable to learn new things, because that requires a measure of humility and curiosity, two qualities which many on the Left seem to have in short supply!
bingo.
BS
No, it’s not.
Cartoonist Scott Adams commented that whenever the “convicted felon” phrase is brought up, the listener should ask “what do you think of Nelson Mandela?” And leave off with that.
I believe Martin Luther King, Jr was also a “convicted felon”….
Spent time in Birmingham jail for parading without a permit. City officials wouldn’t give him a permit, so he marched anyway.
Then in Selma, state troopers attacked on the bridge
Note that President Trump 47 will be inaugurated on MLK Day, January 20,2025! Coincidence? 🤔.
This is the post I am using today:
*** *** ***
I CHALLENGE EVERYONE/ANYONE TO EXPLAIN how the fact that the Trump organization’s comptroller wrote “LEGAL FEES” on the memo line for checks to THEIR LAWYER constitues….a FELONY!
Seriously. If YOU consider Trump to be a “convicted felon”, then please explain the crime. Thank you.
*** *** ***
Exactly. Every time they call Trump a convicted felon they will remind people of the corrupt judiciary that has made both them and him suffer, increasing support for both him and his agenda of cleaning up government.
But they so despise us and him that they can’t help attacking us when even the slightest reflection would tell them it will backfire. It’s what they’ve done all their lives; it’s who they are.
Please learn to insert quote marks around “convicted felon” when using that term in ref. to President Trump.
He is not a felon, and his “conviction” is a sham and will not stand the test of judicial appeal. That is why the corrupt judge could not legally apply any sentence.
Therefore we should consider the term to be merely a tag used on Pres. Trump by anti-Trump Democrats & Uniparty RINOs which requires quote marks.
For sure. I agree.
Persecuted citizen with no quotes added.😡
Good point. Thanks!
The fact that he is plainly innocent of the felony does not make him not a convicted felon.
The fact that it incriminates the courts and not Trump does not make him not a convicted felon.
The fact that it will reasonably be successfully appealed does not mean it never happened.
Giving the phrase scare quotes won’t make the stain of its purpose go away.
It really happened, and I’m not going to pretend it was just a game; just politics; not actually so.
Not to mention all the merch possibilities!!!
Those people never learn!!! That’s the scary thing!
People that would refer to the theory of climate change/global warming as “settled science” you know have to have a paucity of functioning brain cells. The very term “settled science” is an absurdity.
For sure!
“Joan of Arc. Convicted Felon.”
“Galileo Galilei. Convicted Felon.”
“Founding Fathers. Convicted Felons.”
…
Put that on your T-shirts, Lefties.
Academically, these people perceive themselves as brilliant but have a mental intelligence deficit. MID leads to TDS. TDS is not curable, but I bet we could convince them to take the vaccine for it.
Every unfair, concocted attack – in short political libel.
That’s what people are reacting to. That and, let’s be honest here, a not insignificant portion of this is “if they can do it to him, they can certainly do it to me”
Who knows what their internal calculations were. It does make one pause – there had to be some component of “it’s worked before”. Well how about reprising that discussion!
If America’s judicial system is so weak it cannot preemptively short-circuit the efforts of the corrupt Lawfare and Political “assassins” of this era, perhaps it is time to reform it with rules and severe penalties to stop such abuse.
That’s the big issue. There’s really no checks or balances against the judicial branch. Not in practice. Serious reform needs to happen, and a lot of it needs to be on the side of accountability for acting in bad faith. Lawyers and judges almost never suffer for bad behavior. They always protect their own. It’s time to change that.
The entire legal system is corrupt. It starts with ridiculous hourly billing and lawyers dragging out cases for as long as possible to increase billable hours
And, sometimes they split the $$ with elected officials. Have seen some “interesting” zoning cases
that keep getting “rescheduled” over the years. Generally due to heavy “opposition from neighbors”
who none of the other longtime neighbors have ever seen prior to the meetings.
In Crook County, at the Daley Center downtown Chicago, my daughter’s divorce
took three years.
Yes there is. The Congress,
Which does Nothing but write “strongly worded letters” meaning Nothing. So that means there are no checks or balances against the judicial branch.
agree. the House has the Constitutional authority to establish and abolish courts — and thereby put judges out of a job.
With ALL those lawyers? ROFLOL!!!!
Shakespeare might have been right!
Deleted and moved
BINGO!
I am doubtful that we can legislate or rule-make an educated and moral populace.
The people must do this themselves, or the rupublic will not survive.
BINGO!!!
We MUST return to being a moral and religious people!
No other answer!!!
👍👍
The reauthorization of Section 702 through H.R. 7888 represents a major win for national security hawks and the Biden administration. But any enthusiasm may be short lived.
To secure House passage, House Speaker Mike Johnson to shorten the original five-year re-authorization window to two years. This concession means the elections in November will do much to foreshadow the FISA debates that will again return to Capitol Hill in 2026.
Democrats claim they they’re for decriminalization so that less minorities end up in the prison system. They claim they want us to be “more understanding” towards criminals. They say you cannot defend yourself against them. Yet here they are, falsely accusing someone of a crime and hating them for it.
If they didn’t have double standards they’d have no standards at all as they say.
I am all for short sentences for some the worst felons, murders, rapists, child molesters…
because I want them given the death penalty and it must be carried out within a month or less…a very short sentence!
We should not be required to pay for their room, board, food, lawyers, court costs, basketball courts, conjugal visits, library books, and a roof over their heads for years and years! Release them…from life on earth.
Mach nichts. Libs have been calling President Trump a “convicted felon” for years. They are the boy who cried wolf. The vast majority of the American people don’t care.
Sentenced to 4 more years at the Whitehouse 🫶🏼🤣
Nice….
lmao, indeed, and their lawfare helped ensure he got there.
The REAL jury has spoken.
Your line, Tiffthis, is boss.
Classic, Tiff! Comment of the day! Love the irony that results from these irrational dimwits!
THAT should be on a T-shirt or sticker! I’d buy one!
Maybe we should all file a claim of Election Interference against the State of New York. I want my 100
It’s a badge of honor. I salute you, sir!
Wear it with honor Mr. President. Our forefathers were all felons according to the British Crown.
Yes. The Crown that lost!
There is that.. 👍
After this trial is overturned on the multitude of prosecutorial and judge violations, we can sit back with the popcorn and watch their criminal and civil trials.. can’t come quick enough!! 😎
I doubt that but truly love to see that happen.
Oh what a wonderful thing to be in perfect company with Jesus!
Amen.
I think a good question would be, “What did this prosecution cost the taxpayers?”
Really! Make the Prosecutors cover all the costs themselves.
I’m serious.
Personally!
I mean, come on… we’re ALL felons now.
Yawn.
I am a career criminal, both a felon and a domestic terrorist!
And we are all deplorable lying dog faced pony soldiers, to boot! :))
We should be more concerned about the unconvicted traitor currently occupying the White House.
Post of the day Ned! 👍
Does it even matter anymore? He will be the President and can not run again…
Everyone that voted him in knows what the story is….
They were calling him a convicted Felon since the Jury verdict arrived….
As far as i’m concerned… It means nothing…Onward and upward…
Yep! A big “who cares!!!”
I read something about not being able to allow a “felon” take an oath of office. Would they DARE use this to stop Trump’s inauguration????
I want retribution more than ever. They won’t stop unless there is.
I want justice!
The Lord has a way of turning the weapons of the enemy against themselves, if they attack His annointed.
I am proud to have voted for the man who is standing between our nation and the evil that is trying to destroy it.
God bless America.
God bless President Trump.
Can’t call PotusTrump ‘Convicted felon’ when laws were made up…it was always @political pursecution
Regardless of what demedia cries, I proudly voted for a felon and a hillbilly marine.
#maga4life
#metoo! 🙂
So abominably petty, but that’s how the enemies of freedom behave, and there will be more to come in the next ten days, be sure of it. It’s always personal with them, and you really can’t hate them enough.
Sticks and Stones.
There is a Mt. Everest of injustice to be fixed, it will take time to rectify. We cannot dwell on its sheer size.
We stay on the trail, one step at a time with the resolve and conviction of MAGA. Undeterred.
It’s a badge proving the whole judicial system is beyond corrupt.
Project 65 is who is behind the attacks on lawyers who dare stand for what’s right and the truth and they publicly threatened lawyers who dare.
John Eastman and Jeffery Clark were recipients
And Rudy Giuliani.
More reason for Trump to go right after the Deep State, and release every file declassifying the whole works.
From the JFK assasination to the FBI counterintelligence investigation on Trump. Time to expose the wickedness of these people.
Expose everything associated with lawfare while you’re at it.
Maybe do some digging into the Clintons. There are some horrendous skeletons in their closets that need wide exposure.
It wouldn’t take a shovel to do that. A teaspoon would suffice. Just scratch the surface.
Expose ALL to sunlight!!!
The Supreme Court Decision is one that surprises and alarms me. These nine judges are supposed to be the ”cream of the crop” when it comes to knowing the law. Their decisions set the precedent for future cases. Yet five of them failed to acknowledge that the way his trial was conducted, the ”gag” order he was given, the failure to allow him to counter the charges, etc. gave the public the impression that the case was little more than a political vendetta to stop the man from running for president. The perception was that we’ll indict the man, and then change the laws and find the evidence to try him.
At least that is the impression that I received. And the close ties the prosecution and the judge had with the Democrats and Biden’s administration was unsettling to many. Democrats profited off this case, and that is reprehensible in a justice system.
My feeling is that it all stemmed from Trump telling Hilary Clinton, ”You will be in jail.” A woman scorned is a dangerous person. I feel that she used her power, her friends, and her connections to engineer many of these ”lawfare” attacks against President Trump. Yes, I believe there is a ”deep swamp” in Washington which needs to be drained of the evil which exists within it.
Godspeed, President Trump. Keep your head held high, your focus on the next four years, and know that tens of millions of Americans continue to support you.
This is not anything we don’t know. The question is, how do We the People, given the current state of the country and the positions of people currently, correct the flaws in our system, reverse the wrongs, and restore justice to this nation.
Did you miss the meeting of the former Presidents and those wishful of being President yesterday? I think the Clinton’s have little power these days. No one liked her-maybe ever. It goes way deeper than that harpy.
At this point I could care less. Trump has now revealed he supports replacing skilled American Workers with less skilled Cheap Foreign Labor so the wealthiest Oligarchs in History can rule over the Americans forced into perpetual Serfdom. All while eliminating the few remaining jobs equivalent to those offshored over the past half century. Supported him in the past 3 elections only to see him reverse policies at the behest of Anti-American Tech Oligarchs that got rich from subsidies funded by the American Workers they despise. I’ll be voting against this at mid-terms and I won’t be alone.
clean up isle one.
clean up what??
your pretending??
I hate to say it but Olen is telling the truth
did you hear Trump say why we need Greenland?
nothing but fear mongering to the Russia and China Boogy man
that the uniparty loves to use.
I almost thought he sounded like a democrat!
one of Peter Thiel’s companies has been trying to acquire Greenland for years
and now some EXPERTS say We need it for national security?
give me a break
add that and the H1B in
20 billion for a data center
and Trump is doing more for private business then the people as far as I can tell
The US has wanted Greenland for some time now, and it makes sense strategically.
The US has offered to purchase them after WW2 so this isn’t new to Trump alone.
And you make it sound like China is our friend and ally and not an economic and military enemy who war plans against us every day.
You have a point but let’s see how it really plays out.
Exactly. I’ll be pleased as can be on inauguration day, it’s a celebration of sense over madness. It’s odds-on that Trump will disappoint people a little or a lot, sure, but as long as the left is unhappier than the right, I’ll stay enthused.
No question that you are correct that we need to see how this plays out. But it is worrisome that pre-inauguration, there is all this talk of nonsensical stuff like Greenland, H1B, Gulf of Mexico, etc. As an example of how this could turn badly the Dems (Schumer) has already turned the table saying that he will go along with Trump to rename the Gulf of Mexico but first they need to address grocery prices, etc. Stuff like that could prove disastrous in 2026 as those election years are tough normally.
Is that accurate, or is it a narrative?
Attn Pam Bondi: 🎯 Mary McCord, Norm Eisen, Andrew Weissman, Lisa Monaco 🎯
Don’t forget Reid Hoffman who funded much of the lawfare!
US will never again have the luxury of labeling another country a “Banana Republic” while pretending we are not.
I pray that President Trump can turn that worldview around.
Everyone of the Prosecutors that was involved in President Trump’s 91 indictments MUST be investigated for REAL RICO Conspiracy Crimes.
There is an assumption of infallibility of Judges. Lawyers used to be a respected profession. A lawyer elected as Judge was never questioned. There was a deep respect by the judges of the responsibility they shoulders.
These days are no more.
There is so much selfishness, greed, and lack of wisdom or respect for life in the universe. Lack of acknowledgement of the spiritual realm. But in talking of spirituality we run the risk of being discounted as “religious” — and there problems with public credibility of religious people as well.
Jesus indicated, and our laws reflect that teachers and persons in a position of authority are held accountable for the misuse of their power.
I do not think we can recover respect of human beings, much less authority, until there is a return of overwhelming kindness and unquestionable respect by people.
Hence, once again: Sundance’s primary solution for the return to sanity and salvation of this country: Start with yourself. Get right with God, and have faith that He is the Creator of the Universe, the author of absolute Truth, the way to follow for optimizing not only our own lives, but the lives of our relationships and the people we love.
We must rebel against the silos, cross the boundaries, carry the message to everyone we know. Do not hide, become a wall flower, become “compliant” out of fear and weakness. Leave abusive relationships, reject abusive rules, live by principles that clearly declare the existence of love, value, and respect.
There needs to be a outcry directly aimed at Merchant, his actions, his deviance from constitutional principles, and his wrongness. Aimed at him, and everyone supporting him. Turn the tables. Demand appeal to Caesar. Demand lawmakers and judges censure this obvious manipulation of our system of justice which still demands respect.
There perhaps was a time when the legal profession could be trusted to police itself. No longer.
The state Bar Associations are dismal failures. Higher courts won’t intervene to put the breaks on rogue lower court judges. We need something else soon.
And totally eliminating abortion would help to protect all the innocent!
Trump should have thanked them… “Thank you, I don’t think I could have taken every swing state without your help.”
Does this now mean President Trump is freed from the gag order and can now speak his mind?
I have this same question. I would think so since Merchan is now done with this case and his courtroom is out of the picture.
Once an appeal is taken, the lower court no longer has jurisdiction, so probably. However, the appellate division could extend it.
Judge Merchan just created opportunity for DJT to create more income streams selling convicted Felon POTUS, Commander-In-Chief Merchan(dise) T-Shirts, Hats, Mugs etc.
Let the memes and graphic artist talents go wild!
You might be onto something.
Back in the 60s a big selling point for adult comedy albums was a sticker
on the front that said “Banned in Boston”.
Can remember seeing it on Red Foxx albums back when, and, in particular
some female comedian named “Rusty Morgan? ” her album was “Banned in Boston”
and it was called “Knockers Up”
I will take the 1st Convicted Felon as my President over the first female president only because of gender any day!!!!
It’s great to be #1! :))
Too bad the Supreme Court doesn’t have access to such privileged information.
They could have righted a wrong.
Thank you John and Amy.
#MY FELON
Let the Dems have their “narrative”.
It’s a hollow narrative and the voters said so loud and clear last November.
There seems to be a prominent aspect focused on provoking outrage, in the ongoing PsyWar seeking to sink the US.
Anger leads to many negative effects on the angry.
The Christian gospel includes the doctrine of forgiveness, for more than one reason.
The Word of God instructs us to have a
“…readiness to avenge all disobedience, once Our obedience has been fulfilled.”
Trust God.
Fear not.
It’s a fitting sentence from this #FakeJudge; Merchan IS an Unconditional Discharge.
I tend to agree with Mark Steyn. We are so far down the Marxist rabbit hole, little will change until politicians are hanging from lamp posts. Metaphorically speaking of course 😉
in 4 short years we will deeply regret we didn’t do just that!
mark my words
Metaphorically, of course. Though I’d say Meta-Physically might be appropriate too.
I’d be THRILLED to see pictures of corrupt criminal politicians, judges and lawyers hanging from ANYTHING, posted on Fakebook, Facecrook, Meta or whatever it’s called now.
Also, we could probably reduce our national debt tremendously by televising executions of these traitors on pay per view.
No…..untill US CORP.(current government of USA)..will be transform to US as Costitutional Republic as known before 1871…. untill than all rallies are just empty rhetorics…
So now we have a “convicted Felon” President, to go along with the “unconvicted Felons” serving in the Biden administration, not to mention the “unconvicted Felons” that make up the House of Representatives, and the Senate of the United States of America.
Seems to me that the public needs to start calling Congress by that term, “unconvicted Congressman, Unconvicted Senator”.
As for the few innocents in Congress, someone once said “You are known by your associates” . . . .
I would consider Barack Hussein Obama an un-convicted felon for droning an American Citizen. And his crimes are far more serious than an accounting ledger dispute.
Alan Dershowitz advised that President Trump cannot be considered a felon. He’s got a YT video up with his discussion, but I believe the idea is that you are not convicted until you receive a sentence. And a sentence indicates a penalty or punishment for your actions. President Trump’s trial ended with an ‘unconditional discharge’, meaning that the charges in the case were discharged without any penalty or punishment. Legally, that is not considered a ‘sentence’, therefore President Trump was not sentenced and cannot be considered a felon. While the media and public may consider that President Trump is a ‘felon’ if Alan Dershowitz’ legal interpretation is correct, then he would be allowed, say, to vote in 2026. Eyes on.
The legacy media will have a field day with this, they’ve been expecting it and stoking it for years.
The ridiculousness of this case means it HAS to be reversed on Appeal, for numerous reasons. Imagine spending millions of public monies for this temporary and patently false adjective.
Why are democrats so eager to use Trump’s pseudo conviction – to set a precedence? For what? Maybe democrats want to set a precedence to use use in the future when they play another dirty lawfare game against Trump, or on their own behalf the next time they get caught committing another crime
Normalizing their bad behavior and lawlessness
will be their ruin.
By exposing themselves they WILL lose power. 💪🏽
Swamp Draining
-IN PROCESS. Thank you!😊

That makes sense. They don’t want to be caught/penalized for their evil, perverted behaviors.
Patience: For some reason I trust President Trump, also. I keep thinking of “offhand” comments I have heard him make. One coming to mind now is … “Trolling. It’s called Trolling. We do a little Trolling”. Not sure why this keeps coming to mind. I love my Country. God’s got this. He is the real One on the move.
If I were Mr. Trump I would wear it as a badge of honor.
This seems ludicrous too me. They did a probation report on the next president of the USA.
Sources?
Dershowitz video here, indicating why, legally, President Trump is not considered a felon: https://www.youtube.com/live/rdbA1td2gMA?si=YHfYSPPlc1FAo1hJ
After it is overturned, I believe President Trump should sue them for a frivolous case (or something) and $1BILLION dollars in punitive damages. I am serious. Maybe $5BILLION since they defamed him worldwide and in the history books.
Forget suing. Go for criminal charges. Arrest. Trial. Convict. Sentence. Then sue.
Yours is a much better plan!!!
Both
I am always hoping these sorts of overt actions against him will pierce the protective silo cocoon around him “protecting” him from us who want to warn him about these evil ones. I keep hoping he can tell the good from the bad people in his inner circle.
As a “convicted felon,” quote unquote, is our patriotic President not allowed to carry a firearm? Hadn’t thought of it before, I thought it was all labeling, messaging, libeling, gaslighting.
Now I’m very concerned.
Not totally sure about the answer to your question but hopefully with an appeal victory that all goes away.
See Dershowitz. Not a felon, reasons.
We now need a convicted judge narrative.
(YAWN) More symbolism over substance.
Non-pretenders don’t care because they know it’s illegitimate, and the socialists have nothing else but meaningless labels.
