I never knew just how brutal the organ donation system could be until my husband had his fatal stroke. They were calling his nurses 3 and 4 times a day trying to determine when they could get their pieces and parts. I finally had to produce the legal documents saying “NO organ donation”. I have always been an organ donor but am now rethinking that. I don’t want my kids to go through what I did.

While this of course is entirely your and your husband’s personal decision, organ donation, if you choose to do it, does really save lives. For a person facing major organ failure, there is no substitute. Obviously, the transplant teams should have learned of your wishes and then, graciously left you alone. They should not have sought “legal documents,” either.
They do it to babies, why not everyone? In the near future, instead of donating blood for money, you’ll just do a walk in and have a body part removed.
Although you certainly must not “kill a euthanasia patient by harvesting their organs before they die,” I see nothing wrong with the person agreeing to be an organ donor. Depending on the patient’s condition before selecting this final option, his or her organs might be in excellent shape.
I really don’t think that we should call this “assisted suicide.” There are for example certain medical fates which cause agony before “inevitable death.” A person faced with such a prognosis, for example, might choose to instead take matters into their own hands. “Cheating the hangman,” if you will. Deciding “when,” since they cannot decide “if.” A young woman in Oregon a few years ago was faced with the same reality.

You’re not supposed to be able to donate more than a small amount of money per-person to a political campaign or entity as a person, and corporations are not supposed to be able to donate anything at all. This is long-standing law. Of course we’ve created “work-arounds” through so-called “unaffiliated” SuperPACs which allegedly cannot “coordinate” with any candidate or committee, but what Zuck did was not even within that sort of remit because all electioneering (advertising being part of it) must disclose who funded it — he instead funded voter activity only in Democrat heavy areas, a clearly-partisan and coordinated act, and did so to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.
This while we were under the (false) rubric that “we cannot actually manage to get off our asses and go vote” because there was a virus in the community. Well, yes, there was a virus. There always are viruses and yet never before was this an excuse to violate election laws.
This time it was, and under the black letter of said laws those “exceptions” were not permissible. That is, State Law governs elections, including for federal offices, but in essentially every case it is not permitted to change said laws in the few months prior to an election because that is deliberate interference; that is, you can pass a change but not implement it on short time and in many cases the changes were unlawful in the first instance (e.g. non-attested ballot dropbox ballots with no chain of custody and no means of ascertaining that the person requesting and casting said ballot as indeed a lawfully-registered voter.)
Was the 2020 election thus engineered and stolen? Hell if I know — but that election laws were broken and nobody cared is not subject to debate — it is factthat in plenty of states, essentially all of them Democrat majority in Legislature and Governor, black-letter laws were deliberately ignored and thus there is no way to know if the results were tampered with or not whether in the counting or the casting of ballots itself. Lest you forget among the clear evidence of tampering (but not the outcome of same) were seals that were broken, non-segregated access (e.g. credentials shared by multiple people), audit trails deliberately overwritten or deleted and a false “water main” break that didn’t actually happen (an overflowing toilet in a building, whether accidental or intentionally caused, is not a water main break.)

Back when my husband was testing for fire departments – early/mid 1980s – Seattle was one of the first to be actively pushing for more females, with the result that a LOT of less than stellar people were hired, simply because they checked a box. (My uncle was an Lt in Seattle at the time and he told horror stories of women who were too short to even get a ladder off a truck.) Most of them were promoted very quickly because it was safer to not have them on the street and everyone knew it. But overall, the department was still safe, because there were enough competent people to offset them. But over time, as more incompetent people rose in power, they continued to push the same policies that had gotten them ahead, and now they are the majority and it is no longer safe for anyone! Denmark simply lacks the resources to develop an economy for Greenland. I’d hate to see the squishy woke EU get control of it. That would give us a national defense problem.

May State Courts, by whatever “Lawfare™” means, seek to interfere with National elections?
Beyond the superficial, this question (IMHO) really digs into the entirety of “Lawfare.™”
If no one “timely objects to this idea,” it is certainly conceivable that the National President could not take office until he has served out, obviously consecutively, every one of the 20+ year prison terms handed down upon him by “Grand Juries” in, presumably, every single one of the States.
Presumably, the same “logic” could be applied elsewhere. “Missouri, you cannot elect your Governor, because he or she has just been sentenced to 50+ years in prison in Oklahoma.”
IMHO, the only way to finally, directly address these issues is to recognize the already-existing Federal offenses of: “Malicious Prosecution” and “Denial of Rights Under Color of Law.”
None of these so-called “proceedings” are happening because anyone seriously believes, or has ever seriously believed, that anyone else has “committed a crime.” But the consequences have now become “National.”
And also: the fundamental issues decided by this “State” Court have always been … “Federal.”
To my way of thinking … and, “I am not a lawyer.™”
Here we seem to find the “Federal vs. State” distinction reversed.
In ordinary “State” matters, one would naturally expect “Federal” matters to be recognized as being supreme over the State.
But here, apparently, we now see a “State” Court making rulings over “Federal” matters, and then expecting “Federal” officers to be subject to them.
(Please don’t even pretend to pretend … otherwise.)
Irrespective of(!) “who” the Defendant was – in a State-vs-Federal taxonomy – here we effectively find a “State” trying to decide a “Federal” matter … also including in a “State” proceeding issues and conduct that are “Federal.”
Let us hope that this might be the beginning of “formal Federal (and generally Judicial) contemplation of” the actual consequences of Lawfare.™
