Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that his platforms of Facebook, Instagram and Treads are going to change policies to permit free speech to reemerge on the social media networks.
According to the announcement, Zuckerberg admits his tech platforms have gone too far in their effort to control content, and censorship has been the outcome. While providing no apology for the intentional control mechanisms that have created censorship, Zuckerberg notes he has met with Donald Trump and sees a “new opportunity” to reset his social media control to allow free speech to return. Simultaneous to this announcement, Zuckerberg has offered Dana White a position on the board of directors. Apparently, White has accepted. Dana White is a strong supporter of President Trump and the position by Zuckerberg is clearly an effort to open a channel of communication with the Trump administration.

He said he’d do everything needed to restore fair discourse on his social media platforms by removing the “review” committee. The one thing he didn’t say is he will make sure the underlying algorithm works to ensure that fairness.

Zuckerberg is not to be trusted and will sway with the powers to be and sway right back to where he was if they ever get power again!
It took him this long? Really? Of course not……he is obviously being motivated by the change in leadership and THAT is the only reason. He didn’t just wake up. He didn’t just realize what he was doing was not right. He did not have a come to Jesus moment and is now awakened.
Sorry….but this weird guy has no conscience! Maybe no soul! One thing for sure……he doesn’t look quite human now does he!

So, is he also going to promote the use of “bots” to boost followers of targeted posters so that they can suddenly shut down the bots and claim reduced following/interest allowing them to “de-monetize” their targets? Ho-hum, just choose a different platform.
Was thinking while listening to a clip from his “announcement” that he was using words very carefully, saying things like they’ve put into place “too MUCH censorship” (so a certain amount of political censorship is necessary?) And he didn’t qualify “political censorship,” sounding as if silencing political views is okay or he would have said such..And to have this conclusion drawn right after the election shows (if anyone doubted) his blatant political/personal calculations.
