The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) is the facilitation silo for the U.S government exploits through the Intelligence Community (IC). The newly appointed Chairman of that committee is Republican Tom Cotton (Sea Island attendee ’16).
Within an article noting Vice Chairman Mark Warner meeting with Director of National Intelligence (DNI) nominee Tulsi Gabbard, it is noted, “The pre-hearing questionnaire also has not been sent to Gabbard as of yet,” implying the SSCI is purposefully slow walking the nomination. The SSCI did not have any issues sending their pre-hearing questionnaire to CIA Director nominee, John Ratcliffe.
Following the meeting, Senator Mark Warner said, “I had questions going in. I have questions coming out.” The main issue appears to be Mrs Gabbard standing on support for Ukraine, which the Republicans and Democrats on the SSCI fully support.
After the Assad removal operation was successful, Tulsi Gabbards previous meeting with removed Syrian leader Bashir Assad, takes on a new dimension. The SSCI does not like that Gabbard was seemingly a previous supporter of Assad in Syria and the Intelligence Community doesn’t like having their interests challenged; particularly as it revolves around Ukraine.
Within the IC nominations, it is very important to pay attention to Senator Tom Cotton; this could be a moment when the masks of the collaboration between the SSCI and IC are revealed.
The CIA, NSA, DNI and U.S interventionist policies as carried out by the intel agencies are all maintained in status through the “oversight” of the SSCI. Both Mark Warner and Tom Cotton are part of the ‘Gang of Eight.’
As we have documented and noted for several years, the FBI background checks are part of the control mechanism that keeps the wrong kind of people out of the IC silos in order to maintain their operational intents. The FBI background check on Tulsi Gabbard has not yet been completed and submitted to the Senate Intel Committee.
WASHINGTON DC – […] Warner sat down with Gabbard, Trump’s pick for director of national intelligence, on Wednesday, a meeting that had been highly anticipated as part of her push to win Democratic support.
But Warner, who is expected to remain the top Democrat on the Intelligence panel in the new Congress, indicated that he remains concerned about her nomination, putting a dent in those hopes.
“I had questions going in. I have questions coming out,” Warner told reporters at the Capitol.
“This is an extraordinarily important job,” he continued. “A lot of this [is] also about protecting the independence of the intelligence community and making sure we continue to have the ability to share classified information with our allies.”
When asked if she is fit for the job, Warner noted that Monday was his first chance to ask Gabbard questions and that this is still the “beginning of the process.”
“I have a lot of questions,” he added.
It remains unclear when Gabbard’s confirmation hearing will take place. Warner and Democrats have pressed pause on the committee’s push to hold her hearing as early as next week and say they have not received her FBI background check, ethics disclosure or a pre-hearing questionnaire yet. (read more)
The pre-hearing questionnaire is being used as part of the justification to delay Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination. However, the pre-hearing questionnaire has not been sent to Gabbard by the committee. Interesting…

Warner is as bad as McConnell – Shine a bright light on him
The nation would benefit more if it is a bright laser beam.
😄 yes indeedy! Or a Directed Energy beam, lol.
The Feds used them on us protestors in Australia!
People with burnt faces!
We’re not happy!
Better yet, a bolt of lightning.
Warner is as bad as McConnell
– Shine a bright light on himtwo traitors who should be tried and hung. And so it begins. Warner looks like he bites his fingernails! Tulsi is a lightning rod for exposing people such as Warner. He’s been a big problem for a long time. Trust Trump!!
telling campaign contributions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_United_States_Senate_election_in_Virginia
Virginia politics has been a corrupt back room machine since the days of Harry Byrd. The VA General Assembly is the precursor to Uniparty. As are the R and D party chairmanships who nominate candidates for higher office. Their grip is an iron one, which they will never release.
If the Commonwealth party apparatus nominates a candidate you can bet they are corrupt and faking MAGA, like Winsome Sears. Lastly, due to the high concentration of foreigners and Gimmedats, the voters of Richmond, Tidewater, and NOVA often cancel out the votes of the rest of the Commonwealth.
Holy smokes! Look at Warner’s campaign finance data.
I think they look evil even when they’re smiling.
Like sharks just before they bite.
They are used to shaping things exactly how they want them – and they can keep the door closed.
They’re using support for Ukraine as a litmus test to hold up approval for President Trump’s nominee. Even though we voted partly on the basis of getting the US out of the Ukraine quagmire.
Yes, but they know better. Gag!!
“ A lot of this [is] also about protecting the independence of the intelligence community” Uhhhhh, no it’s not. As one who worked for decades in the IC, we work for the CDR in Chief. Intel is intel and should remain apolitical no matter who is at 1600 Penn Ave
Bingo – my thoughts exactly. You go there first.
He says independence , but he really means sovereignty.
Here, Sundance is stating the hard, corruptly evolved reality of gubmint operations and strategies, not the originally intended organizational dynamics.
It would be interesting to know just when you worked in “intel”. However, I’m not even going to ask
Apparently Warner doesn’t understand that concept. He does, however, seem to have a vested interest in Ukraine. Don’t most politicians have a vested interest in the mic and its profits.
58 years since I joined in 1967 to serve 4 years. Never in those 4 years and never in the 58 intervening years have I ever heard any serviceman say “CDR in Chief” instead of CIC.
Navy
“The FBI background check on Tulsi Gabbard has not yet been completed and submitted to the Senate Intel Committee.”
Meaning they have not found the right sort of “dirt on her” to either keep her under control if her nomination is accepted OR to have her nomination not accepted.
Or made up the right “dirt” about her. These feckless soy boys can only pick on a woman.
Reference the no fly list.
Under the impression Trump is doing private background checks, and FBI is not involved?
I understand that SSCI gets (requires) FIB check.
They already did a background check on her. Thats why they labelled her a fly risk
“That’s why they labelled her a fly risk.”
Can’t find something incriminating, create something intimidating.
All I can say is that I expect Trump to stand behind his nominees the same way he did with Kavanaugh. This is a big test, and there can be no bailing out or equivocating. The electorate voted for radical change. He needs to stand by ALL his nominees come hell or high water, and if there is no chance of getting a confirmation in the Senate, then he needs to force an adjournment of Congress and make recess appointments. He has the Constitutional authority to do this, assuming he can get Johnson to force an adjournment disagreement with Thune. Rejection of any of his nominees is unacceptable and nonnegotiable.
We see you Warner and you others who are setting up the tone and the scenario for PJT’s nominees. Since when did a trillion dollars in kick backs overrule the legitimate votes of 77+ million American voters?!! Listen up you feckless Republicans and Democrats!! Shame on you!!
We want out of the Ukraine money laundering and the horrible mass casualties of that war. Fight fight fight!!Our job of supporting PJT is not done, not by a long shot. Trust Trump.
The committee needs a more honest moniker such as the Senate Intel Controlled Kommittee: S.I.C.K
Slow walking it to hold up the nomination process.
And the media can now spin the nomination with “Why is this taking so long. What have they found?”
Here we go again . . .
the Republicans are in control of the Senate, right . . . but like last time, when Chairman Burr seemed to defer to Warner like some kind of Pekingnese lap dog, will Cotton be doing the same?
I bet yes that Cotton will do the same. He has a pencil neck like pedo Schiff.
……”concerns about protecting the independence of the intelligence community” …….
Think again, Warner. The voters have spoken and they are shutting down your ultra cops and robbers cosplaying around the world. You do far too much damage out of anyone’s purview to continue. Get back to coloring within the lines. You brought this on yourself.
A brazenly arrogant attitude. Scram Warner. You are exactly the reason why this IC over-kill must be abandoned. Not in my name, do I ever want to fund any of your paychecks ever again.
I like the ploy where they bring congress into recess, and P DJT makes makes his recess appointments. The American people have spoken, and issued the mandate.
Enough with the clown show. The President needs his team – end discussion. Time to play hardball, Sir.
Patience, Remington.
This is justvthe warming up, before the first inning of what promises to be a nine inning game.
This first step, the nomination process will take up 2-3 innings of play, with much going on behind the scenes, but it IS kind of “wholesale” filling of a bunch of positions.
PDJT can NOT fill his whole cabinet with recess appointments,..and to pull that off he needs ONE MAGA Senator willing to destroy their political career by making the motion to adjorn, because leadership will DESTROY them.
But , there ARE a # of ways PDJT can finesse the Senates selection process for his nominees besides the recess ploy.
Dutch – He doesn’t need a Senator to destroy his career with a motion to adjourn. All he needs is Mike Johnson to provoke a disagreement with Thune on adjourning Congress. In the case of a disagreement between the House and Senate on the timing of adjournment, the President has the Constitutional authority to adjourn Congress unilaterally and indefinitely. In that situation, if he wants, he can appoint his entire Cabinet that way.
I don’t expect him to do that, but in the case of Patel, Gabbard and Kennedy, it may turn out to be the only option. That’s one of the main reasons he’s been supporting Johnson so heavily. He may need him to force an adjournment. The drawback is that recess appointments will expire at the end of the 119th Congress, In January 2027, instead of January 2029. But two years is better than nothing.
Trump can repeat the process in 2027, hopefully after more rinos have been primaried.
Screw Warner and all of them with their Ukraine fetish.
Yes, they need to tell us (the American people) why we should spend one more dollar for Ukraine! If they want to continue this war, they need to tell us why it is a good thing (which it is not!)
You misspelled Feti$h.
they are getting filthy rich off of Ukraine. it’s money that’s the fetish
Trump is playing nice nice

in reflection, i do know that our government can’t just be wide open, willy nilly. it has to protect itself from any group that tries to usurp it(the constitution), so the nominee needs to be worthy…..however, a foothold situation is a foothold situation. go gabbi go….”let’s roll”
The more we learn, the more we realize that Rand Paul was correct when as a freshman senator from Kentucky he stated (paraphrasing), “…Washington, DC is far worse than we thought”.
Rand should talk, he never requested recess like all of them.
Make a motion to recess the Senate, and then bend over, put your head between your knees, and kiss yer ,*ss goodbye, because your political career would be over, the Senate ethics investigation would ruin your reputation, the lawfare legal cases brough against you would bankrupt and imprison you.
Reward! A grateful Republic! Wanted! One man or woman senator with a sacrificial love of country who will put the American voters choice for CIC first and adjourn the Senate if need be.
So let it be written; so let it be done.
trumps got the bully pulpit and multi million maga army. all he needs to do is point to where its energy and attention should be directed.
So? Rand Paul is a doctor. I’m pretty sure he would have a soft landing.
Regardless, all it takes is one to show courage, do the right thing, then look up to see that the sky did not fall down. Makes it easier to show courage again. Rand Paul isn’t scared, he’s comfortable..
Warner is a partisan hack going back before 2016’s Muh Russia. Anything he says or does is not to be believed.
he goes back to teddy Kennedy days
Need to start firing people for jacking around with the paperwork.
Threatening the personal rice bowl is the motivator.
The concern is that she intends to do the job.
No Clapper, she.
you are spot on Maquis!
Sacre bleu! They cannot afford that!
Pas du tout!
Warner himself should have been prosecuted for his part in the attempted RUSSIAN HOAX COUP against President Trump. He was and is part of the intelligence CABAL working against America.
He has absolutely no fear of that happening to him at all.
Most of the government – Congress, Judicial and executive branches -would have to be indicted along with Warner.
Are those rice bowls causing Warner to bite his fingernails ? Yes, according to that photo.
Wonder if Warner and James Wolfe traded Christmas cards this year?
It would be interesting for an audit of where the money and weapons went for the Ukraine project.
Most money never leaves the US, and what does actually arrive in Kiev is skimmed at several layers there too.
Large percentages of weapons and munitions end up on the global arms markets. Some of these “businesses” are operated by the CIA to generate extra black ops funding.
I’d wager my last $1 that what goes on is far worse than what anyone who is skeptical can imagine.
If Trump is unaware and/or unable to reign in the SSCI, nothing will improve long term for our country.
These Senators are 100x worse to our national security than any foreign nation.
Yes! Pray that the Brunson case comes to light.
Maybe you can enlighten me what that case is.
Same type of thing happening with Hurricane Diseaster money except most money never leaves DC and what actually arrives here is skimmed off in layers…not much left to help folks who live here…there were actually people who applied for the one time 750 dollars who were denied…and they live in the disaster area.
The DeepState seems to be very misogynistic. Can’t really count Mary McCord!
The stall .. waiting in effort to figure out how to keep her out .. something needs with happen to Warner

Maybe an all expenses paid vacation to the Hindu Kush might get his attention….

YES, how honest – protecting the independence of the intelligence community from any oversight by Donald Trump or any of his picks.

noting: there is a “investigation” into how tulsi was placed on the “quiet skies” (surveillance = political harassment).
I am certain this is playing into the secretive world of the secret police spy state.
q: how will Congress respond when this subject matter comes up?
q: will the “oversight committee” attempt to interfere with the confirmation wrt to disallowing questions about the nature of quiet skies.
noting: a bunch of bad guys were recently transferred from gitmo to oman…why? are the two issues, related to how the secret police spy state has developed false or exaggerated or counter terrorism programs that have effectively revealed zero fruit. is this related in some way to the same programs AND PEOPLE who targeted Tulsi.
just questions.
God Bless America
Really good ones, regitiger! Yes, me thinks the Intel Committee(s) have a lot of squirming to do over Tulsi. Maybe they are afraid she might actually start asking them questions.
.
This is getting beyond annoying and stupid, isn’t it. These appointees can only be placed with the “advice and consent” — CONSENT being the operative word — of the Senate.
And yet, there is NOTHING that any of them can do that the President himself cannot do. Reaffirmed last year by the U.S. Supreme Court.
I am wondering why Trump couldn’t just appoint her as an “inferior officer”, something along the lines of oh say, “White House Intelligence …Emissary” — and send out orders that until a DNI is confirmed, the President will handle these duties himself and Gabbard will relay information to and directions from the President, and anyone about whom she informs the President isn’t cooperating about anything can pack up and hit the road.
.
Well, one reason is becsuse HE ISN’T PRESIDENT, yet.
But yes, one of the many ways he can finesse them, is to wait and first force them to vote down a perfectly viable candidate like Tulsi, then as you say appoint her as “Intel Czar”, with total authority to speak/act on his behalf, and the NOT nominate another as DNI……making it obvious that she is the defacto DNI, without the title.
And then, by actions effectively DARE them to vote no on Patel, Jr, etc. with it obvious he’ll do the same thing..
That SCOTUS ruling, a direct result of one of the Lawfare cases THEY initiated, is going to really bite them in the buttgig.
.
Wait? Why wait. Why wait for a yes vote or a no vote? I think he should do this if they don’t act to confirn within 48 hours. There’s been plenty of advance notice. There is work to do!
.
That could well be the buttbite heard round the world.
If Cotton and the rest of the Republicans on the committee support Tulsi, do we really give a hoot what Warner thinks or votes? After the SSCI vote, she will then go to the full senate for a vote of confirmation. Every Republican Senator had better vote for her, or they will be voted out on office on their next election.
Ya know, I hear that….They’ll be gone. I’m not real sure they give a rats. they will have been well rewarded for they’re treason. the only thing that might have impact is a trip to Florence….Florence, Colorado.
They damn well for SURE give a rats. Especially the entrenched ones.
Believe that.

The THREAT we have made, and voiced by Musk, is thst if they vote no on any of PDJT’s nominees, that we will primary them….
Something of an empty threat, since many of them have been out as RINOS for some time, and we have not successfully primaried say,…Lindsey or Mitch, Murkowski or Collins, or Romney.
By keeping the Senate close to 50/50, the argument will be “we can’t risk losing the majority to the Dems!” and many voters will fall for it…
And, the State R party machines that out them in office, and keep thrm in office, will do their magiccto insure they survive a primary challenge..
Its about more than just$..
That was then. This is now.
The Great Awakening IS happening, and we can be certain VSGPDJT will ensure it continues to happen.
2026 is gonna be LIT. That July 4th is going to be our Republic’s 250th Anniversary, and it is gonna be a patriotic celebration to remember for a long, long time.
PDJT is already making sure of that.
Watch and see.
voter fraud is responsible for the 50/50 split in both house and senate.
Warner would have his flunkies speed-dialing any media he could think of to dirty her up after she were confirmed, if only to make the Republicans look stupid for approving her.
Clearly facts would not matter.
How many R’s on the committee or in the Senate would fold like wet towels just knowing that?
What media?
Barack Obama Ordered the CIA to Overthrow Assad (Syria), part of a 7 Year “Clean Break” Strategy, Directed by Israel
At least, that’s what Jeffrey Sachs says…
Why would Obama want to overthrow Assad (Syria)?
—— because Israel has run American Foreign Policy in the Middle East over the Last 30+ Years.
—— Netanyahu wants to create a “Greater Israel”
• Syria was in no way a threat to the United States, but was deemed a threat by Israel, because Netanyahu wants to rule over all of Palestine.

.
Probably not. Obama was/is not pro-Israel. In fact he’s arguably an anti-Semite. He was/is about enhancing Turkey (who has had continual issues with Assad), as well as the Muz Brotherhood’s caliphate ambitions. Also, because Russia was allying with Syria. Also because Assad is of the Alawite sect, i.e. a bad Muslim.

A warning shot across Trump’s choice. Will he allow this IC semi-mutiny to be successful going into the Inauguration?
I have $100 that says Trump has boxed them in to a corner where they are damned if they do and damed if they don’t.
Too many are now awake and paying attention.
And for the recently awakened, it’s turned into the best drama they’ve ever seen. PDJT is a master showman, and he is giving everyone quite a show.
This isn’t Term 1. It a whole different ballgame now.
If Kamala Harris ever writes a book on treating the insignificant as though it were significant, Mark Warner would be the first to buy it.
There is a Kamala like quality to Senator Warner’s comments that leaves one gasping for some fresh air. This is classic word salad, leaving the listener feeling that he knows less after listening to Warner than he did before. “I had questions going in.” (to his meeting with Gabbard) “I have questions going out.” So what are those questions, and how many, if any, did Gabbard answer? Warner doesn’t say but he feels compelled to add, “I have a lot of questions,” in case we didn’t hear him the first time.
Then Warner tells us, “This is an extraordinarily important job…” for those morons in the room who might otherwise think the Director of National Intelligence is an ordinary and unimportant job. Then he tells us that he and Gabbard are at “the beginning of the process,” so presumably “the process,” whatever that may be, and those questions we are all clueless about, will take a long time to get asked.
All I have to say to that is there is great significance to the passage of time…when you think about it.
And you can quote me.
I think we could look forward to Kamala Harris “writing” a coloring book or if she has a co author, a graphic novel.
Kamala needs Hillary’s ghost writer to complete a coherent sentence, let alone a book!
Your comment reminds of the joke about the guy who loved doing the Hokey Pokey. He died. They had a hard time putting him the casket. When they put his right foot in…
Yes, and speaking of the Hokey Pokey, on January 20, we’ll be putting the Right ones in and taking the Left ones out!!
I suspect NO ONE, not ONE voter in the whole country, votes for any Senator because they want them dictating foreign policy for the U.S.
With the War Powers act, the Congress did NOT actually relinquish its authority to initiate wars (by voting to go to war, as required by the Constitution).
All they did, was set it up so they could avoid RESPONSIBILITY for taking us to war.
And then, thru operations run by SSCI, and G of 8, thru the State Dept. to CIA, they run operations like “Charlie Wilsons War” the true story movie about how Congress initiated a war against Russia in Afganistan, funding and training the Taliban.
We THINK our POTUS is in charge of and responsible for foreign policy generally, and engaging in Wars specifically,…after all, he is CiC.
And, when one of the wars they start goes South, they are more than happy to put the blame on the POTUS.
We really need to gut Congress…
Literally….
No.
We simply need to repeal the 17th Amendment, and return the election of US senators to the state legislatures.
Just as Sundance has said.
EFF ALL of them. Burn the entire thing down.
We had the chance. The National Guard had been told to stand down, and we had a million person human barricade to surround the Capital with, and those two things would afford the time to drag the keadership out ,,,(G of 8) and tar and feather them, right there on the Capital portico, and live stream it for all to see.
And they will never give us a chance like that, again!
No, they won’t GIVE it, but someday we may have to TAKE the chance whether we or they like it or not.
I have Zero doubts Tulsi gets confirmed.
IMHO, the nominees who have been named to the various IC positions appear to support each-others nomination. To be clear not in a verbal or harmonious sort of way but in a way which several of them will get through & if others are held back those who have already made it across the line will provide unseen internal pressures on these senators to remind them who’s in charge.
As time has gone on, I’ve increasingly come to believe that PDJT has the front & back doors covered. Specifically by the deputies he’s putting in place who won’t require confirmation & will he seated in their respective positions immediately on Jan 20.
Yes, the deputies is one way, certainly.
So is Ambassadorships; the “Grennel,l” ploy.
Once confirmed, to be Ambassador to wherever, if you need you appoint them to the unfilled cabinet position.
Then, there is the Czar or Emissary approach discussed above .
“ he continued. “A lot of this [is] also about protecting the independence of the intelligence community and making sure we continue to have the ability to share classified information with our allies.”
The problem is that the IC is so “independent “ it is out of control. I didn’t know that the constitution mandated an “independent“ entity as opposed to being commanded by the President.
We may need to re-read that part.
George Washington’s spy number was 711. I am pretty sure he was in control of his own intelligence group. AND the petticoat colors.
Senator Mark Warner, “Go Eff yourself to your face.”
If that is whatever Elon said.
Elon is a Gen Xer. And Gen X is the generation, and undisputed king, of movie lines. Many of us can hold entire conversations simply quoting movie lines.
The one you are referencing that Elon used came from the smash hit Ben Stiller 2008 comedy, “Tropic Thunder”, spoken by the now-legendary character Les Grossman, played by Tom Cruise, in a scene with Matthew McConaughey, where he said…
”Ok, Eff-face, take a big step back and literally….(yelling) EFF YOUR OWN FACE!”
Needless to say, one must have seen the movie and the scripted line delivered to understand the context of it’s use, which was hysterical.
You can find it on Utube.
It does not matter where Elon Musk got the words; although it does not surprise me in the least that he has to have his very WORDS subsidized too… I digress.
He said them to US. He meant it as the threat it conveyed. And we responded.
At any rate, this is about the corrupt SSCI and Warner’s part in the corruption.
Looks like there’s going to have to be a recess appointment then.
These folks are too long on these committees, they are corrupted.
president trump is gonna go full moe howard on these “leaders”.
he’s gonna do some serious head klunkin’.
He needs to let them know, we can do this the easy way or the hard way!
“A lot of this [is] also about protecting the independence of the intelligence community…”
-Sen. Mark Warner (D)
.
Wow. They just are so open about it. They really do believe they are untouchable, even as they worry about the possibility of being held accountable and facing justice.
.
I cannot believe that we are so lucky. Trump Trump!
Nice to see him on TV today acting like a boss -kicking ass. ‘
Refreshing after listening to slojo mumble 5 words and fall off the stage.
Thanks for that visual of Biden! LOL
We know they are going to fight PDJT hard on his nominees, especially those which can most effectively help he carry out his MAGA agenda, or most threaten them.
So, Tulsi, Jr., Hagseth, and Patel.
They will leak unverified dirt on them,…which the parrot media will amplify,,..they will try to trip them up on questioning in the hearings, with the Dems taking the lead role on that and Repubs sitting on their hands,..but they can not Not confirm these nominees without Republican No votes, and the Republicans DO NOT want to go ON THE RECORD,as voting against PDJT’s nominees.
Ergo, they hope to generate so much “public pressure” or the ILLUSION of so much public pressure, that PDJT will withdraw the nomination.
IF he forces them to vote, by sticking with his nominees, I think the Senate Decepticons will cave, and vote to confirm.
And, there are rumors a couple of Dem Senators might defect,…
Trump could (and will) make a deal -If you confirm Tulsi, I won’t bring charges concerning the Russia Russia Russia hoax.
Since election day, the leftist globalist govt of France has collapsed, the leftist globalist govt of Germany has collapsed, the leftist globalist govt of Canada is collapsing (with Castro’s illegitimate bastard son, Tru-doh!, having resigned) and the leftist globalist UK govt is teetering on the brink of collapsing.
None of this is accidental. One, maybe. Two is a stretch. This many, with this kind of timing?
No way.
Trump is FAR and away more powerful than is being realized or recognized by the public. And I’m 100% certain it goes back to what he did in his 1st term, especially regarding trade agreements.
I suspect one of the biggest differences between Term 1 and Term 2 will be that, in Term 1, “they” were doing their best to EFF Trump, whereas in Term 2 “they” will be doing their best to keep from being EFF’d by him.
”They” are clearly, and indisputably, on the defense now.
Can’t see why its always the same. The democrats are in control. No matter how many republicans we put in congress, the democrats run the flow. She needs democrats to get approved; why? Isn’t republicans the majority?
If Gabbard were military, would she not have already passed a background check?
!@#$%%^&*(^%%$#@
Not just military, she was U.S. House of Representatives (D) from 2013-2021, Vice Chair DNC 2013-2017 and 2020 Democrat Presidential candidate.
I’ve disliked Warner for what he did to destroy the Virginia state Constitution, and lothe him for the part he’s played in destroying the constitutional government of the US.
Yes, shine a bright light on him at a table in a star chamber.
“The pre-hearing questionnaire is being used as part of the justification to delay Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination. However, the pre-hearing questionnaire has not been sent to Gabbard by the committee. Interesting…”
[Channeling Ann Putnum in “The Crucible:”] “There are wheels within wheels in this
villageDeep State, and fires within fires!”The so-called “intelligence community” serves the elected president. They are all under authority of the executive who is the president.
The spies are not supposed to serve a U.S. legislative committee of CORRUPT senators and representatives. This is the whole problem.
The war in Ukraine is obviously a war started by U.S. intelligence agencies for the purpose of making crooked politicians more wealthy and making sure any U.S. president remains a slave to the den of snakes in those corrupt intelligence agencies.
The spy agencies are the tail wagging the dog and that has to stop. The masks must be ripped off these criminals. President Trump MUST wrestle control of the intelligence agencies away from the criminals in the legislative branch.
I would suggest a rephrasing of your second paragraph:
“The CORRUPT legislative committee SERVES the spies.”
The spies choose the (corrupt) legislative members of the committee as they can be controlled by the spies. The aspect that the committee members benefit from that relationship furthers the spies’ control over them.
I just imagined that when Tulsi is being interviewed by a senator who is asking gotcha questions, someone pulls out a stun gun and zaps them. As they are lying motionless on the senate floor, President Trump’s voice announces “ANY ONE have another question? Good. She’s approved!”
Sorry, the mind will wander sometimes. LOL
Warner revealed himself: “A lot of this [is] also about protecting the independence of the intelligence community”
That’s all it’s about.
Fear not! The Lord is in control. What will happen will happen. His will be done. So relax .
What did Cotton do at McKinsey following his tours of duty, I wonder….

A bit about Cotton’s wife: https://fedsoc.org/contributors/anna-peckham
Follow the wives….. Look where Senator Tom Cotton’s wife works…….https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Reconnaissance_Office
How do we view Cotton’s placement and comments, now?
These men will answer to our Lord just as we will answer one day. I am choosing the narrow path. Live your best. It is good to seek knowledge, but worrying will not change anything. We trust in our God.
Hang tough Tulsi!!!
Senator Cotton should be careful with whom he aligns himself. Tulsi embraces the Gita which is her religious foundation. Her constant reminder to others of her military efforts might be defensive armor; however, it may also show her principles at work. The SCCI, five eyes etc. just might be a group of power hungry players where real patriots are needed. Gabbard comes across as a real patriot. We will see who moves the ball on this nomination.
I’m not American, I’m a New Zealander. So maybe I’m naive on this. But since sunlight solves most things in the intel world, why wouldn’t sunlight solve this one too?
So if the SSCI refuses to confirm Tulsi, why doesn’t Trump simply tell the SSCI he’ll do a “My fellow Americans” address which lays out to the American people the broad picture of what Sundance has been explaining to all of us last decade or two, re: the IC, the SSCI, and all the rest of it?
I appreciate we’re talking the six ways from Sunday crowd, but why does this mean everyone on Earth including Trump needs to tip toe in their presence? What would happen for example to the six ways from Sunday crowd if Trump released the JFK files? You name it, Trump can release it. That’s your law. Right?
So why does he even need to worry about tactical delicacies over obtaining a DNI confirmation from a bunch of Senators with almost certainly compromised backgrounds aplenty, with that power at his fingertips?
