I had college educated professionals tell me they couldn’t get a doctor appt for months, that they went stateside to get care, and, that the best doctors went south for the money. but they gleefully to me their healthcare was “free”! There was a sigh of resignation when they admitted they were paying ~50% tax rate.

Our family used to laugh, driving from Ohio to Florida in February, when we’d see the cars from Ontario or Quebec speeding past us southbound on I-77 or I-95, covered in dried-up road salt;-). They are just a pathetic bunch of losers!

This is TRUTH, Mtman. 18 years ago, I had a customers in Canada and one of them had a heart episode. Likely a heart attack. He went to the Canadian hospital, sat in the waiting room without being seen for 8 hours, turned around and went home. I told him to cross the border in Vancouver and go to an American emergency room to get help immediately. Told him to drive a pencil through his hand if he had to. It was RIDICULOUS. This was a very good man and I thought the world of the guy. I alerted my field salesman, so he could try to keep an eye on him. We just wanted to get him some real help!
For the record, I AM NOT IN FAVOR OF GIVING ANY HEALTHCARE TO ILLEGALS or SQUATTERS ON SOCIAL SERVICES. This guy was a hardworking, productive, human being who was denied care due to a broken Canadian healthcare system. What is one to do… when you can’t get through the ER and you have a family depending on you? Die on the street?
Well, fast forward, and now care here in the USA is no better. Long ER waits, 3 to 4 to 6 months for medical practitioner appointment and God help you for special conditions.

They sent copies of my X-Rays back to my MD in Canada.
Canada-My MD said that I must come back to Canada for Knee Surgery! I drove myself back to Canada, my MD sent me for more X-Rays & turns-out that I just had a Badly Bruised Knee Cap, NOT a Broken One! WTF was going on here?
Belize-I had to spend 6 months on my Scooter for 23 hrs./day, because someone ruined my Credit Rating to the Point where I couldn’t get a Car Loan to replace my Ambulance Camper that I had Sold in Jan/2024! I had terrible Bed-Sores & Swollen Ankles from Sleepoing Upright on my 3 Wheel Scooter that I bought to take on thr Plane. Although there is Free Medical Care for All here in Belize, it is Questionable, as I’ve still got the same problems that I had in Canada.
