This stuff actually made it into movies, I remember watching a British film that had a scene where a young woman waiting for a bus in front of a housing project was being harassed by a Pakistani taxi driver, and I had no understanding what that was all about, so it had to have been pretty widespread by then, an accepted part of the culture.

In a Monday interview on “Bloomberg Surveillance” addressing New York City’s newly implemented traffic “congestion pricing,” Lieber brushed off concerns that many commuters have about taking the subway instead of driving.
“Some of these high-profile incidents, you know, terrible attacks have gotten in people’s heads and made the whole system feel unsafe,” Lieber said, addressing the recent subway crimes, including an illegal immigrant burning a woman to death on a train, a man being pushed in front of an oncoming train by a random attacker, and a group of teens attempting to violently mug an elderly woman in a station.
According to Lieber, however, “The overall stats are positive.”

I worked to expose intentional flooding in a Central NC town over 10 years ago. It was difficult to ferret them out, but a number of Agenda21/2030 agendas for urbanization had been laid at Federal, State and local level ensuring targeted flooding. Any one policy did not, but together it was clear that modest single family homes were being flooded to provide for urbanization.
Engineering data we uncovered showed over 200 homes that would be flooded over time depending upon storm intensities. 12 homes were lost to foreclosure before the city had to reverse course.
Here is how it works in a nutshell:
> The houses built in the 50’s-70’s well outside any recorded flood zones.
> Over a couple of decades, stormwater infrastructure upstream and downstream had been ignored and began to cause localized flooding.
> Original flood zone maps “disa’m’peered” from public databases. Original surveys had to be located.
> “Sustainable” and “Resilient campaigns to counter “climate change” were launched by city to distract from high density development and intentionally neglected stormwater systems.
> Even though there had never been flooding there, low cost federally subsidized flood insurance was advertised
> After the first 12 homes flooded, the Town updated the FEMA Flood Zone maps using authority quietly granted in volumes of Fed regulations.
> Once in FEMA Flood Zone, there was no insurance subsidy. The homeowners could not afford 7-10K$ year private insurance.
> Other Fed regulations kicked in requiring their mortgage companies to purchase the private insurance and add it to the monthly payment.
> Homeowners could no longer afford their mortgage payment,
> Foreclosures ensued, property value assessments were not adjusted, and back taxes added up.
I see many similar “confluences” of events in Western NC and across the US. Similar Regulatory-Taking is going on with coastal storms, “wildfire”, environmental and utility regulatory collusion. . Nothing, NOTHING, like this happens per chance.
