Speaker of the House Mike Johnson appears on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the details and mechanics of the House legislative agenda for 2025. As Johnson notes the large legislative constructs are what President Trump wants to kickstart the agenda and that is the timeline the Speaker is working with.
Within the discussion Mike Johnson outlines the specifics of the legislative packages and the expected timelines he is targeting for completion. WATCH:

The Big Snow Job!
Many are reporting that Congresscritters have fled DC even as leaders insist they stay in town to be present for the certification; absent critters will surely blame the unforeseeable snow storm as their rationale for attempting to thwart the procedure I mean being unavailable.
They need to stay and do their job, none being of greater importance than certifying the election of President Trump.
There is no excuse for abandoning this task at hand.
I can only wonder if they would bail if the result were different.
They are “Public Servants”. Does this surprise anyone?
Public Servants? Puhleeze. They see us as their serfs.
They see us as their money wallet!!! SPIT!!!
Public servants? Get real! They are a total waste of human breath! Keep America great? Naw, They are only worried about Ukraine money getting laundered and in their bank accounts! When do we get rid of Obamacare? It’s as useless as the hind teat on a boar hog!
MTG posted on Truth Social that they knew weather would be bad and to stay in D.C. Of course, many did not.
They are not required to be there. The Constitution says that in the presence of Congress, the President of the Senate shall read the results into the record. But Congress does not actually vote to certify, which seems to be a huge misconception for many, judging from the comments sections of other conservative websites.
So in the presence of Congress could be interpreted as the minimum number of reps and senators needed for that legislative body to function (i.e. a quorum).
All that is done is that the President of the Senate reads the results, and the one who has the most Electoral votes wins, and that result is entered into the record and that person is declared President (this entire procedure from past years can be watched on YouTube; I would start with Trump’s certification in 2017).
Members of Congress can object to the results, but thanks to the democrats, there is now a higher bar and more Congressmen required to make such an objection.
But otherwise, there is no actual vote by the House and Senate to certify the election results. Because that would take away the power to oversee and certify elections given to the states by the founding fathers.
THANK YOU!!!
Beat me to it.
Excrllent clarification.
However, as so few of the “General Public” know this, and the legacy media certainly has no motive to educate them, could they still try sometyhing?
Is this perhaps all a ploy to play to “the Court of Public Opinion” or a slight/insult to PDJT and MAGA?
In general agree with your assessment about “certification”, but “the one who has the most Electoral votes wins” is 100% wrong. You need a majority of the total (“shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed”) or it goes to the House (Pres) or Senate (VP). Interesting that in the “runoff” you can have the top 3 for president, but only 2 for VP.
Should be noted that in 1876 (Hayes/Tilden) there were competing slates of electors delivered to Congress, which had to determine which slate to accept. Then there was a separate issue of the qualification of an elector — “no Senator or Representative, or person holding an office of trust or profit under the United States, shall be appointed an elector” — challenged as to “holding an office…” Of course back then with the old calendar they had to March 77 to figure it out.
And reporys are it is REPUBLICANS that are fleeing.
And,I got news for you; not a one of them farts, without getting permission from leadership.
If indeed they are leaving in order to not be there for certification, its because thats what leadership TOLD them to do.
So, puublically leadership is staying “STAY in town!” and privately saying “,Go, go!”
And this way, Karmaella can issue a public statement assuring that she will certify the election, and then say “,Ooops, proceedure requires,…don’t blame me!”
Theres still many a slip, between cup and lip, and now and J20.
They are talking about the ‘big beautiful bill’ being signed by June? That’s not something to be proud of. We are in big trouble with enacting legislation when everything has to be finished by May 2026 so the creeps can run for reelection.
The good news is the Senate will be starting confirmation hearings starting this week for all the biggies. By the end of January we will know who our enemies are.
If we don’t know who our enemies are, at this point in the war, we are in big trouble.
However, its pretty simple.
Everyone in the Senate and House are our enemies, with particilar focus on the Republicants who try to pretend they are our allies.
Trust no one.

95% of incumbents won re-election

https://news.ballotpedia.org/2024/11/25/95-of-incumbents-won-re-election/
I keep seeing lists like this that have “Richard Shelby” as a senator (AL). He retired from the Senate in 2023. That website also lists “Mo Brooks”, who also retired in 2023, and it says his next election is in 2027. He was only ever a House member (never Senate). With such inaccuracies, we are not helping ourselves to use such a poorly edited and maintained site.
ditto Richard Burr
Above reply meant for hector.
5% did not win reelection… look at the positive.
Richard Burr has not been a Senator for several years. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of this list.
Still confirms my belief that most Republicans are Democrats but no Democrats are Republicans. At least 6 of those RINO Senators on your list are no longer in the Senate.
I don’t care what Levin thinks.
A lot of the folks he likes in Congress belong to the so-called “Freedom” Caucus, which is largely composed of globalists who are bought and paid for by their globalist donors like the anti-MAGA Club for Growth (e.g., Chip Roy, Thomas Massie, Nancy Mace, etc.).
Most of these same folks also backed DeSantis for President last year.
Thank you for this list. Sad but many will not believe this and yet they will complain about the RINOS in both Houses. 95% won reelection because the RINO and UNIPARTY will not let a Conservative or MAGA person on the ballot. Until the people realize this and that is when a 3rd party is needed NOTHING CHANGES. Enjoy and expect TRUMP to make all RIGHT , Warm and Fuzzy.
You need to update the list. Some are already gone. But with a caveat for many/all of them that they still wield political influence in their respective states. Of more interest would be to concentrate attention on the current members. Example: JD Vance replaced Portman in 2022 but he does still wield influence.
Thank you for the information!
“Particular focus on the Republicants who try to pretend they are our allies.”
Johnson is at the top of the list. His last 1500 page Bill proves who he is for, it certainly isn’t the American citizens.
Oh, we know who are enemies are: all of them.
If you don’t know who the MAGA and conservative enemies are by now you will still not know by the end of January, 2015. They could send you a letter saying they bare your enemy and you would not believe them.
2015? You mean 2025, right?
This time for sure they’re ready to fix Obamacare!
🤣
Whatever plan they want to foist on the rest of us, it should be good enough for them too
BINGO!!!!
Then do what pee lousy always did to ram thru conhressional business – “do it remotely”
We voted for Trump.
We are stuck with who he supports.
Trust Trump.
Criticize where appropriate, but otherwise stop the bloody whining.
Trump is our guy so we must support him to the extent that we can…!
Mike Johnson may not be Mr. Right, but he is Mr. Right Now. I don’t see anyone else who is MAGA that could sail in and get elected at this point. Johnson has been between a rock and a hard place with such a razor thin majority, and too many Uniparty folks still in the fold, and not enough MAGAs to overcome them.
I believe that with Trump as president again, and a majority of the popular vote as a mandate, PT will be able to wield more authority than he did in his first term.
I think that although Johnson may be prone to caving under pressure, PT thinks he can work with him, and that’s big. (Think Paul Ryan.)
Johnson is not Ryan… We need to have a little faith.
Sorry if you misunderstood, Bill. I meant that PT can work with Johnson, which is big, as opposed to how it was with Paul Ryan.
Johnson is but the latest symptom of this long-lasting problem with an institution as important as the U.S. Congress: How it can suffer such a bleak 20% approval rating, and yet re-elect well over 90% of its incumbents. Election after election after election.
It’s the “hold-your-nose/vote-for-the-lesser-of-two-evils” hand that we are continually dealt. Money, or lack thereof, is the driver, and, of course, you always have the election fraud to drive them over the line. And congress creatures are some of the stupidest people on earth.
Congressional leadrship intentionally thru a # of elections, in order to insure the Republicans would have a razor thin majority in the House, SO THAT Johnson would have this excuse.
They used it to insure he would be elected Speaker first ballot, (” We can’t risk a fight, we might end up with a DEMOCRAT for Speaker, and there goes certification!) which insured even PDJT would support Johnson.
And, they used it as an excuse for him ‘caving’ and going for the 100 page approp. bill, instead of the 1500 page one, and rejecting the proposal to go with 3 seperate bills.
THAT was all kabuki theater; if the 1500 page bill failed, the 100 page one still gave them what they wanted, and deprived PDJT of the debt cieling raise he NEEDS.
Johnson is NOT “caving under pressure” that is all part of the scripted, kabuki theater.
He could have gotten the 3 bills passed, with Party line vote, the 26 Republicans would have voted for that, and he has never explained why he dropped any notion of a debt cieling increase, other than the Dems, which he didn’t HAVE to negotiate with, insisted.
Without a debt cieling increase, a totally fraudulent construct of Congress, PDJT’s whole legislative agenda is stalled.
He can not renew, much less increase his tax cuts, because despite the evidence of our eyes, that they increase revrnue, the CBO says they decrease revenue, and so increase debt.
He certainly can’t give tax breaks to all of those companies he anticipates coming into the U.S.
And how is Homan going to have the $ he needs for mass deportations, without raising the debt cieling?
Even if they were to give him all his nominees, without $ his agenda is hamstrung.
And that is why Biden had no debt ceiling and they sure spent. Most of it surely goes back into dem pockets. He left Trump a mess. But we will have to spend and the road will stop it’s just when.
in order to insure the Republicans would have a razor thin majority in the House
Yep, by design the old “insufficient majority” excuse from the RINO half of the UniParty.

SPIT!!!
thank you debbie downer
Thank you for explaining the con-artistry of the razor thin margin. I can’t seem to get that point across.
When the same conservative group votes against your legislation every time, so you pass bills with rinos and democrats, you are not trying to pass legislation that represents republicans.
Mike Johnson has legislated strictly uniparty.
President Trump can and will use DoD funds to deport the masses of illegal invaders.
If Johnson responds to pressure, then Trump needs to apply it. Seems that’s working.
Lol. They ousted Santos, who had yet to be convicted of anything, but kept Omar, who married her brother. Yeah, they’re such a fit crew.
But remember, Trump is obligated to do certain things he’d rather not, and needs us to triangulate off. We must speak out. I don’t want unified action, I want right action. That’s a process, not an event.
Trump is our guy so we must support him to the extent that we can…
In most cases we have absolutely no control whatsoever over the vast, national and international (ex., Five Eyes), complex, interwoven, LONG established Deep State/Blob forces against him where trillions of dollars are at stake and “we” are just 50% of voters according the the 2024 popular vote where he had nothing even close to a landslide.

Intro:
Common delusions notwithstanding, the United States, I submit, is not a democracy—by which is meant a system in which the will of the people prevails. Rather it is a curious mechanism artfully designed to circumvent the will of the people while appearing to be democratic. Several mechanisms accomplish this. Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens [Princeton University, 2014]
https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/aop-cambridge-core/content/view/62327F513959D0A304D4893B382B992B/S1537592714001595a.pdf/testing-theories-of-american-politics-elites-interest-groups-and-average-citizens.pdf
Excerpts:
A great deal of empirical research speaks to the policy influence of one or another set of actors, but until recently it has not been possible to test these contrasting theoretical predictions against each other within a single statistical model. We report on an effort to do so, using a unique data set that includes measures of the key variables for 1,779 policy issues.
Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence. The results provide substantial support for theories of Economic-Elite Domination and for theories of Biased Pluralism, but not for theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy or Majoritarian Pluralism.
In the United States, our findings indicate, the majority does not rule—at least not in the causal sense of actually determining policy outcomes.
When a majority of citizens disagrees with economic elites or with organized interests, they generally lose. Moreover, because of the strong status quo bias built into the U.S. political system [that describes the overwhelming influence of The Blob – W], even when fairly large majorities of Americans favor policy change, they generally do not get it.
To be sure, this does not mean that ordinary citizens always lose out; they fairly often get the policies they favor, but only because those policies happen also to be preferred by the economically-elite citizens [and their Blob – W] who wield the actual influence.
Governor Trudeau out this week?, Conservatives surging in Germany, France, and the UK.
Add Austria…and with God’s good grace Germany.
I’d hoped (no, prayed) with President Trump’s resounding and reverberating re-re-election the ripples would quickly spread across the Western world, inspiring other people in countries crushed by insidious Marxist forces to rise up in great numbers for their own victories.
First, Milei in Argentina, then President Trump…next??
The times, they are a-changin’…
Bukele in El Salvador.
An inspiration.
But he just sold out to the IMF, and agreed to remove Bitcoin from the national reserve. So sad.
Die Neu Zeitgeist.
Vakey Vakey!!
Mustard seeds, Cariad 🙏🏻
All credit to PDJT, but IS this,….GLOBAL shift to Nationalist/Populism due stricktly to his re-re-election (lol, good one!) or is it just that the same ‘tired of these horrible Globullust policies’ view that got him elected, is surging World-wide, all at the same time?
Also, just before Oct. 7, Israeli Govt. was poised to go leftist, so maybe they are another one, although obviously Oct. 7 saved Bibis bacon.
I think things have become so bad and intolerable for those who have been told that their peace, security, and prosperity are fungible, been told their interests have been exchanged for those of a culture malignant of antithetical to a Western Christian one that what we are witnessing was bound to happen. Been told all which has been brought to bear is destined and that there is nothing which can be done to stop it.
Demoralizing and designed to psychologically defeat any who dares to object. Solzhenitsyn wrote his “if only” long ago. Are we seeing that moment?
The fight to wrest control was happening…see the Netherlands. But it was and is occurring too slowly. In part because they had no unifying force such as President Trump has been for us. His election almost seems to be regarded by them as theirs. That impression for me bolstered by the steady stream of western leaders flocking to MaL since November 5.
To borrow from a well known song, if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere.. Which message I heartily believe was delivered.
But more than that, dutch…much, much more…I do believe we see God’s hand here. His mercy and grace on July 13 was for millions a signal as well as a blessing that He has other plans than those of the satanic elites who answer to another and which they have been executing. I cannot disabuse myself of this belief.
When He decides to act, no one can stop Him.
So many threads in the tapestry He is weaving…not only one.
And I think this is what we are witnessing. I pray so.
Secure THE BORDER and DEPORT NOW
Trump Backs Down From Strong Sweeping Deportation Promise
December 24, 2024
https://mishtalk.com/economics/trump-backs-down-from-strong-sweeping-deportation-promise/
Both Trump and his border czar are sending strong messages that Trump’s deportation plan won’t live up to his campaign hype.
The Wall Street Journal reports Trump Allies Fear Watered Down Deportation Efforts:
Donald Trump ran for president on a bold promise: to carry out the largest mass deportation in U.S. history.
Now, a little over a month before he takes office, some allies are worried that a shift in rhetoric from the president-elect could portend a watered down removal effort and are urging him not to scale back his plans.
In the weeks since the election, and even in some rally speeches toward the end of the campaign, Trump and his incoming advisers have alluded to a mass removal effort of immigrants with a criminal record, a far narrower set of people than the 15 million to 20 million Trump pledged to deport earlier in the year. Tom Homan, the president-elect’s incoming border czar, has said Trump’s team isn’t planning to perform mass raids in immigrant enclaves—the worst fear of immigrants-rights activists.
“This isn’t going to be neighborhood sweeps and military vehicles going through the city,” Homan said in an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw on Thursday after meeting with New York Mayor Eric Adams. “I told him, you know, President Trump and myself have committed that this is going to be a targeted enforcement operation.”
The emphasis on criminals reflects not only what Trump considers to be the highest priority but a practical understanding of the complexity of rounding up millions of migrants, [even just finding and deporting the criminals will be a monumental effort which will probably involve lot of gunfire – W] a person familiar with the matter said. While Trump remains committed to a deportation effort, his team is mindful of those realities and wants to set expectations.
The decision also reflects some concern over economic impacts [and THERE it is – gotta’ have that cheap, hard working labor that can’t unionize or complain about work conditions whose income and benefits are supplemented by taxpayer subsidies for the poor! – W] to key sectors such as housing and agriculture, the person said. Through it all, a focus on criminals has been the animating force of Trump’s message, as he repeatedly highlights instances of migrants committing crimes such as sexual assault or murder.
Here’s how mass deportations could change the housing market
November 19, 2024
https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/19/economy/new-home-undocumented-immigrants-trump/index.html
More than one-third of construction workers in the labor force are foreign-born, according to the US Census Bureau’s 2023 American Community Survey. In some states, that share is much higher: In California, New Jersey and Texas, more than half of construction workers are immigrants. In New York, where Garcia works, 46% of construction workers are foreign-born.
“The majority of employees in construction are Hispanic and most don’t have documents,” Garcia said of his experience working in construction.
why do you quote such unreliable sources?
Exactly.
I just say, as usual:
Concern noted. 🙄
A staunch Democrat funding farmer has warned President Trump that his mass deportation will starve the citizenry. He sounds more like an extortionist than a farmer.
“Farmer Warns Trump: Prepare for Fallout from Your Key Policy”
Excerpts:
Today, both economic blackmail and the arrogance once associated with landed aristocrats come in many forms and from many sources.
For instance, on Tuesday, the French state-owned international news network France 24 published a video report featuring comments from a California farmer named Joe Del Bosque, who, like the plantation grandees of old, warned that President-elect Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan would deprive farmers of cheap labor, thereby requiring farmers to pass along increased agricultural production costs to consumers.
https://www.westernjournal.com/farmer-warns-trump-prepare-fallout-key-policy/
I HATE farmers. Always got their hands out for more money (VERY bad in FL, they will NOT hire legal workers), and for taxpayers to pay for their medical.
That bas*ard can get H2B workers, LEGAL farm workers, paying transportation cost to get the workers TO the farm, and all MEDICAL COSTS.
Winston, I remember Fridays. That show was so much funnier than SNL. Most of those skits probably couldn’t be aired today.
“You go to war with the army you have not t he army you might want or wish to have at a later time.”
Despite being a pathological liar, Secretary of war mongering and D.O.D. entrepreneur O.G. Donald Rumsfeld later regretted stating that truth.
The U.S. House of Representatives thought they could fight the will of 77,303,573 Trumpsters with a skirmish and some sabotage.
Well Trump brought the Army he has, ALL 77,303,573 America 1st, MAGA verifiable, certifiable real, American citizens to the Swampy Shores of the U.S. House of Representatives to Fight, Fight, Fight every species of Swamp Creature in the House that day until all The creatures surrendered in defeat to America 1st, Trump/MAGA!
What did we win? The satisfaction of beating every single Marxist lov’in Lawfare Dem in the HOUSE, every stink’in RINO Uni-Party traitor swamp creature. Our army WON the FIGHT for our RIGHT to America 1st MAGA on Jan. 20, Day 1.
Who’s next, Tech Bros. or Election integrity?
Who’s next…..
So now, the American death-dealers know that if they can get 15 MILLION invaders here, we can never get most of them out! The bad guys WILL TAKE NOTE.
This is MAKE OR BREAK, P. Trump. KEEP YOU WORD!
Let’s do this!! Thank you, President Trump, for your iron will and coat tails around the world. Now, let’s beat this snowstorm! Fingers crossed!!
Opinion wise, it like the democrat party follows the route of nazi in Germany who lock step behind Hitler to kill even their own families or the jihadist who willingly accept a bomb on their purpose to kill. The democrat party will vote party no matter what happens to America. Make one wonder if they don’t have a machine in an office where people like Pelosi just flips a switch and the vote is done. They just pretend in the chamber. Shame that the republican party for the betterment of America won’t do the same. Lots of demands I suspect in order to get the job done. Let the biddings begin.
Call me a pessimist; I think we get rolled yet again in 2025-2028.
I just don’t see it.
Call me a realist and I agree.
Thune on every network stating Trump has to ‘be realistic’……meaning, it ain’t happening UNLESS rino’s, establishment, woke, Musk, Gates, donors, wall st, k-street are onboard, which they won’t be.
I think we might get just enough to make the forgotten men and women, feel less forgotten? I hope for more, of course…”let’s see what happens”…
Favorite words of PDJT there…
…and I am always with him on that idea…
Agenda: Same as last time – obstruct Trump with a microscopic RINO majority.
We should be slashing and burning, but instead we will see $40T debt very soon and inflation heading at a steady clip for the next two years minimum. Very hollow victory, but this is the cost of voter fraud from 2020.
J. Steinman FTW
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/01/former-trump-nsc-senior-staffer-warns-dangerous-move/
President Trump was smart to advocate for one reconciliation bill. It is clear that Lindsey Graham and the uniparty wanted tax cuts to fail, which would have happened under two reconciliation bills.
Nobody wants an Omnibus. In fact, we’re sick of the Omnibus. Raises for Congress, Liz Cheney and all the the J6 committee immune from prosecution?? No way. In fact, just the opposite. We want smaller bills where everybody knows what’s in them.
agreed.
I want a reconciliation bill of tax cuts, border security, mass deportations and spending cuts. I actually want Trump’s agenda to be passed.
Talking is useless.
Mike Johnson doesn’t wield the gavel like Pelosi did. She’s a complete tyrant.
Exactly. There will never be another Democrat speaker Pelosi. (Thank goodness). I cannot even imagine a Republican speaker made in her likeness.
You mean the Legislative Agenda to continue astronomical levels of overspending of fiat money created out of thin air by the Fed to “loan” the Treasury, accelerating the rush to economic collapse?
Or the Agenda to continue pushing for major war with Russia, without the necessary industry and military capacity to prevail, which will result in capitulation and collapse to vassal state?
Or, are we talking about the Agenda to inject Americans with more and more harmful genetic manipulation serums, accelerating the bio-democide attrition of Americans, a slow-motion collapse?
How about the Agenda to “keep us Safe” with increasing surveillance and police state mechanisms abetted by AI profiling, propaganda, and censorship, collapsing the Constitutional Republic based on the Bill of Rights?
The Agenda to overwhelm America with indentured servant immigrants, collapsing the educational system, housing availability, and the indigenous working- and- middle-class?
Or is it the Agenda to strangle energy and transportation based upon the climate canard lies, which persist to continue the strangling regardless of short-term pushback, helping to move America closer to collapse?
Hmmm…am I missing something important?
The Federal Gubbermint will never do anything for the people.
11 He said, “This will be the procedure of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and place them for himself in his chariots and among his horsemen and they will run before his chariots.
12 He will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and of fifties, and some to do his plowing and to reap his harvest and to make his weapons of war and equipment for his chariots.
13 He will also take your daughters for perfumers and cooks and bakers.
14 He will take the best of your fields and your vineyards and your olive groves and give them to his servants.
15 He will take a tenth of your seed and of your vineyards and give to his officers and to his servants.
16 He will also take your male servants and your female servants and your best young men and your donkeys and use them for his work.
17 He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his servants.
18 Then you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day.” (1 Samuel 8:11, NASB)
We can still live a Rightous life thru Loving our neighbor almighty God has promised us a roof over our Head Food and Clothes.
All else is of this world.
Eternity is an amazing place Hang in there Jesus return is close at hand.
Snowing stopped here in Pittsburgh. Now congresscritters, get to work!
Just outside the District of Criminals and the Beltway, in PG. Snow started up again. Still snowing now.
Is there any way the idiots who left DC can be financially penalized for running away and not doing what their EMPLOYERS want? I think their EMPLOYERS need to get seriously tough with these employees!!!
I don’t like Johnson; his face is fake. It’s like he looked in a mirror and practiced how he should look.
I think he looks like a weary high school principal, trying to project a positive vibe, but always worried the kids are going to try and burn down the school on his watch…
I place zero weight on Johnson’s words.
Way to go guys. There has been no inauguration or confirmations yet and everyone appears to be in a quasi doom and gloom defeatist condescending criticizing we’re screwed mode. And of course, the reality is that there are definitely a number of major concerns. But, POTUS DJT has yet to lift the curtain and start dishing out his stated meat and potatoes main course meal that this country desperately needs to put the Biden administration disasters behind in order to start the process of restoring our Constitution, the rule of law, the economy while securing our country’s borders in addition to removing those illegally in our country and rebuilding our military as an effective deterrent to those who would threaten our nation. In closing, know that POTUS DJT, being a task and goal oriented astute successful businessman and POTUS 45, knows how to make significant changes when the POA is not progressing in a desired manner. The operative words are trust, monitor, verify and critique.
POA?
Plan Of Action
Thanks!
Many of the Eeyores have also conveniently forgotten the sky-high stack of EOs waiting for the 20th – and the power behind each one.
Uncle Joe Stal…, Biden had to poop in the pond today, with his “permanent” offshore drilling ban.
Deep State Dominance (and national destruction) vs Trump’s Energy Dominance
What is their definition of securing the border? Escorting more across or stopping it?
Maybe you prefer Democrats in charge of the border.
GOP has razor thin majority in the house by design. UniParty circus clowns.
The first thing he was going to do as speaker of the house last session was get rid of 80,000 new IRS agenst. Or not, whatever. No biggie. Who cares anyway, right?
Say the nice words.
Politics as usual.
The argument for “One big beautiful bill” is a reprise of the tired old B.S..argument for “Comprehensive” bill, whether its Immigration, Healthcare or whatever.
And its B.S. There is nothing more complicated than regulating TRAFFIC.
You have big commercial trucks, public transit, private owner cars, bycyclists, pedestrians, etc. all wanting to go in different directions.
But, we did NOT pass one “Comprehensive” traffic bill, we passed a whole bunch of little ones, dealing with each aspect in turn.
What a “Comprehensive”, “Omnibus” or “Big Beautiful” bill does, is enable congressman to avoid accountability, justify NOT giving the American people what they want, hide all sorts of pork, or carve outs for major corporations/special interests, and poison pills (like McStain did in McStain Fiengold, for instance.)
How about each bill is only 1-3 pages long, max. and is written in plain language so anyone can understsnd it?
They could pass 2-3 /day, and really get something done by April.
Trump ran on tax cuts, border security, mass deportations, deregulation and energy dominance. He didn’t run on single subject appropriation bills or minimizing the length of bills.
A reconciliation bill is required to lower the threshold to 50 votes in the Senate. President Trump ran on tax cuts, border security, energy dominance and deregulation. He didn’t campaign on bean counting and single subject appropriations. If you don’t support Trump’s agenda, then get off the MAGA bandwagon. You can start your own party and run Ron Paul.
I don’t understand why people complain about Republicans working on Trump’s agenda. They complain before and after the election. Don’t you want to accomplish anything or just complain all the time and be in the minority?
I don’t recall Republicans ever working on a Trump agenda other than to thwart it.
They’ve passed Trump’s tax cuts before, so they can do it. If you are so negative about Trump and the Republicans, why even vote?
