Please pray for our niece Lisa who has been the caretaker for her daughter who has Down’s syndrome for 26 years and also for her mother who suffered with Alzheimer’s for 8 years and passed away in Spring 2024. Exhausted and overwhelmed,Lisa tried to commit suicide 3 weeks ago. She really needs our prayers.

(I put this request in #25 days ago, but thought I might put it here again. Forgive me if I shouldn’t have done that. I am desperate to have people pray for her.)

My mother is 97 1/2. She had sepsis and cellulitis and then was sent to a skilled nursing facility for PT. She has Covid now and is confined to her room for one more week. Please pray for us. My dear father died last December 3rd. I am concerned about my mother’s discharge because she wants to return home, but doesn’t want to pay for anyone to stay with her. She has more than enough financially to pay for a nurse for the rest of her life, and if she didn’t, we would pay for it. Thank you for this opportunity to ask for prayer. I have been taking care of my parents so they could stay in their own home ( and it has been intense for 10 years!). I am tired now! God bless you all.

Please pray for my youngest brother John who will see his 72nd birthday this Saturday the 4th of January but is suffering from terminal cancer. John is the youngest of 7 children and beloved in this close MAGA family that meets annually to celebrate together in the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praying for Dennis Prager, a nationally syndicated radio host who has been a radio-rabbi to many of us through the decades. His focus is on good and evil. He took a terrible recent fall. Currently he is hospitalized and can’t move his arms or legs. He is fully capable mentally. Dennis is a man dedicated to a north star of morality. I pray for his health and am grateful for so much I’ve learned from him!

His Rational Bible Genesis commentary convinced the logical part of my mind that there is no way so much deep wisdom could be written by a mere man. (Moses wrote the 5 books of Moses on Mt Sinai by God’s side). Traveling line by line through Genesis reveals the incredible brilliance of the text.
Example from Genesis: “Noah was a good man in his time.” Today, fools tear down statues because of “modern morality”. They judge important. people of yesteryear as underserving due to them not meeting the moral standards of today—as opposed to measuring people against others and the morality of their time)

I often wondered what and old Jews argued about on Friday evenings concerning a single line of biblical text. Well, I am stunned to find out it was about soooo much! Incredible.

Side Note: I went on a Prager led “Stand with Israel” tour just a few months before the COVID lockdown. Phenomenal! Happily surprisingly to me was 3/4 of the very large group was Christian. I learned and saw so much about Judaism and Christianity. I live in the blue bubble silo of Malibu, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Calabasas. It was great to laugh with my fellow travelers and kindred spirits about our all being “deplorables”…and how moving the trip to Israel and the ancient sites are. I was actually overwhelmed at the Wailing Wall and wept.

I see a lot of prayers for elderly. How about a prayer for the kids? All the kids today that should be brought up in Christian homes knowing about God and Jesus and knowing that they are our salvation. Not the nimrods that they will be exposed to online and in the media. We are running out of chances to really turn this country and the world back to God.

Praying for President Trump and his family. And his entire administration. Very worried about an attack on the inauguration.

I would very much appreciate prayers for my stepdaughter who has been battling stage 4 MBC for 3 years…she’s struggling right now dealing with pain as she starts another round of chemo. Also please pray for my Father who just turned 80 and lost his wife (my stepmom) to glioblastoma last year. He’s having a hard time adjusting to his loss and to being solo. And one more…please pray for my sister who has gone through some hard times and lost her home and is having trouble finding work while also dealing with memory issues that the doctors think may be dementia.

Dear LORD, please strengthen and encourage all the prayer warriors. Guide them and direct them. Help them to pray effectively and renew their strength so they do not grow tired. We ask this in the name of Jesus.

For my sister-in-law, who has been battling long covid (unvaxxed), and has subsequently been diagnosed with chronic Lyme Disease, heavy metal toxicity, and mold in her body. Visited standard medical physician, holistic care, and tried almost everything you can think of. She’s a tiny shell of a woman at about 90lbs, can’t walk properly, every joint pains her, doesn’t sleep, and needs basic care with everything.
My brother has done his very best trying to balance a truckers life (financial necessity) at 62…and his care for her. I do my best to help, and continuously pray for both of them. They found each other later in life and both deserve happiness more than anyone I know. Thank you friends 🧡

A good friend suffered a stroke a couple of days before Christmas. She is improving and able to walk now.

Prayer of Thanksgiving: Amanda update as God provided her a second heart on the last day before she would have been taken off the list. She just had her 5th yearly checkup and passed with flying colors. Truly God is the great provider and healer.

Because the needs in all these prayer requests can overwhelm our spirits.
There are many hardships and trials to endure while we live in this broken world.
And, we are unable to carry these burdens alone.

God says that the Holy Spirit takes even our groanings to His Throne of Grace. (Romans 8:26)
Sometimes words are not necessary … God is the Word, and He created words.
He understands our hearts and desires – even when we can’t express them.
And the Lord acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. (Isaiah 64:4)

Lord, hear our prayers and send healing.

Thank you so very much for all your prayers for my dear Friend Deb. She came through the surgery for repair of the first surgery. She is now still fighting for her life.

I will ask the great Treeper prayer warriors to continue to pray for her. She has too much liquid in her system so that has to be drained and later on in the week she will have a tracheotomy to help her breath on her own. Only then will she be on the road to recovery.

Thanks again for such wonderful support. The Lord and Father really blessed me when he led me this wonderful community years ago. Blessings to all.

Please pray for my neighbor Steve who has stage 4 lung cancer with mets to brain, spine…he just found oud and had gone to MD Anderson in TX….they just got back last night. He started a chemo study drug there as there are no studies etc here in IL.

This was the neighbor climbing on my roof, to help clear fallen trees last summer. His wife is falling apart. Please lift them up in prayer.

I just lost the best friend I had, this weekend, to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. I saw Aggiegirl’s post above, about her neighbor; prayers up for his wife. It’s so hard to see someone you care about fight cancer, it makes one irrationally angry, and sad, then even more angry at things out of our control.

I learned something however.

From the moment Kay was diagnosed, through her 8 months of living at my home, to her literal last moment, she never once lost an ounce of her warrior-like faith. She knew God was with her even through wretched pain days, and she prayed for me more than for herself. In between, we had fun when we wanted and how we wanted. She lived life on her terms and shared the Word of God with everyone she encountered.

I will admit my weakness here, and confess to being really angry at times because I thought it so unfair for a lifetime warrior for Christ be put through such hell. I cried a lot behind closed doors..

Then I would tell myself His thoughts are higher than my thoughts, His ways are not my ways. I’m relieved Kay no longer suffers and I rejoice at her being in Heaven. She looked forward to walking beside Christ. She hoped she could look down and look over me.. still I miss her so. My last words to her were “I love you so much, please save me a seat.”

Please join me in prayer for those struggling as family or friends, and the patients suffering cancer or any other debilitating condition. Please give them strength to know God’s plan is not our plan, know the strength to persevere and everything will be ok. It does hurt so much to witness suffering, but focusing on God’s Love, even for a minute eases that hurt. I pray they find patience and peace in the midst of chaos. Lord, help us all in these very trying times.
