A little over a week ago I got tickets to go to President Trump’s inauguration. Within hours I had 10 people going to the inauguration with me.
Since then people have dropped-out from going. The most recent to drop-out was yesterday when my sister-in-law said she no longer wants to go because she is “afraid.” She and the two friends who were also going to go are all afraid.
A short while ago one of the 5 people still going asked if I thought there’d be an inauguration. I said, ‘Yes,’ and then asked her why she asked that question.
I had a good idea I’d know the answer.
I’ve heard people talking for days now that; we won’t have a speaker of the house, we won’t have any one in charge to call for a vote of the electoral college, no one will be in place to accept the votes for President Trump, no one will be in charge to actually say President Trump won the election, the dems are all going to stay home and not take part in the vote to ensure he does not become President, etc., etc., etc., and her answer fit in with all those things.
8 years ago I attended the RNC national convention as an alternate for Donald Trump. At that time lots of people were saying that if you got within 5 miles of Cleveland during the convention you were crazy; they were sure some kind of bomb was going to go off. . . or some other kind of horrific event would take place.
4 years ago I went and listened to President Trump give a speech. Many people knew that something big was going to take place during that event, and they warned everyone not to go.
Nothing happened 8 years ago, and something dirty and deep happened 4 years ago.

When we were told we should be fearful of going to Cleveland for the 2016 RNC Convention I refused to be fearful. We went and all along the drive from northern Minnesota to Cleveland we were passed by police cars, sheriff’s cruisers, military vehicles, etc., all heading to Cleveland to keep the peace, and that’s just what they did. My take is usually ‘show me why I should be fearful,’ give me good reason to have fear of something first, and then I’ll decide whether to go or not.

If Vivek is looking for a headline, he should tell us about teacher proficiencies in the subject areas that they teach, including reading and math. Much of that data has been scrubbed from the internet, and some states (like NY) have stopped standardized testing for teachers altogether. The explanation is that too many minority teacher candidates were failing the tests. If you’re going to put out a 5-alarm fire, you might want to start there.
Common Core Math and DEI Affirmative Action policies have crippled our education.
Those DEI policies that make it impossible to fire bad teachers also make it impossible to discipline and punish certain students that act out. Disruptive behavior affects the entire classroom so that even good teachers have a hard time teaching and good students can’t learn.

Matthew Graves Resigns

Two weeks after the U.S. Senate confirmed his nomination as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia in November 2021, Matthew Graves indicted longtime Trump confidante Steve Bannon on contempt of Congress charges.
The move represented how Graves would conduct himself in office. As the nation’s capital descended into a deadly and dangerous crime wave, Graves, also responsible for prosecuting local violent crime, devoted most of his resources to doing Joe Biden’s political dirty work: rounding up, charging, and imprisoning Americans who protested the 2020 election on January 6, 2021.
Graves today announced he will resign effective January 16, 2025. In a lengthy press release, his office bragged about Graves’ success in managing what the Department of Justice calls the “Capitol Siege” probe into the events of January 6:
On January 6, 2021, a violent mob of several thousand individuals stormed the Capitol and the United States briefly lost control of the grounds around the Capitol and much of the Capitol, itself. More than 140 law enforcement officers were injured during the siege of the Capitol, making it the largest single-day mass assault of law enforcement officers in our nation’s history. These events triggered the largest investigation in DOJ history. To date, roughly 1,600 people have been charged in connection with the attack with almost 1,100 having already been sentenced for their conduct. There have been over 170 contested trials with the United States prevailing in more than 99% of them. These convictions include the first seditious conspiracy convictions since the trials stemming from the first bombing of the World Trade Center in the 1990s. Because politically motivated violence and destruction rip at the fabric of our society, Mr. Graves made federally prosecuting such crimes a priority.
Equally as destructive to the “fabric of our society” are politically motivated prosecutions that destroy innocent lives while destroying public trust in the nation’s most powerful law enforcement agency. It will take decades to repair the institutional damage caused by Graves and his superiors, Attorney General Merrick Garland and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, in their vengeful pursuit of Donald Trump and his supporters.
In fact, Graves reckless handling of J6 matters forced higher courts to rein in his abuses. Last June, the Supreme Court overturned how Graves applied 18 USC 1512(c)(2), a post Enron obstruction statute, in at least 300 J6 cases. And the D.C. appellate court twice reversed excessive sentences sought by Graves: unlawful “split” sentence of prison and probation for low level misdemeanants and a separate sentencing enhancement for (now) unlawful obstruction convictions.
Even more unforgiveable is the fact at least three J6 defendants—Matthew Perna, Mark Aungst, and Nord Meacham—committed suicide on Graves’ watch.
While at the same time Graves accelerated the pace of charges against Americans even for nonviolent, harmless participation in the Capitol protest, he refused to partner with Special Counsel David Weiss in 2022 to bring tax charges against Hunter Biden. Graves and his wife, Fatima Goss Graves, have close ties to the Biden White House. Graves worked at the same law firm with Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris’ husband, before Biden took office; Fatima Goss Graves, who runs a radical leftwing nonprofit in Washington, has visited the Biden White House at least 40 times since her husband became U.S. Attorney.
After Donald Trump’s decisive victory last month, Graves continued to charge J6ers despite Trump’s promise of pardons. His prosecutors are attempting to hasten jury trials and sentencing hearings before January 20.
The tables soon may turn on Graves and perhaps his line prosecutors, who reportedly are lawyering up over fears they will face investigation for their role in the J6 prosecution. But even if Graves ultimately faces legal consequences, the human damage he inflicted can never be undone.

We continue to watch as young men lose their homes, businesses, families, miss the births of their first child, we watch as American citizens who exercised their First Amendment rights sit, unconstitutionally, in solitary confinement for extended periods of time, Americans are kept in torturous conditions, Americans are denied their right to consult with counsel, Americans are demonized.
And the fact that five of the victims of this Graves’ character have committed suicide is a testament to the vindictiveness of this regime, desperate to stop anyone from seeing the truth: They stole the 2020 election, they know they did, we know they did, they know we know, but anyone who says it must be punished.

4 terms for the House. 8 years.
2 terms for the Senate. 12 years.
Would be nice if this were to be addressed. We need to eliminate the Grangers in assisted living, Mitch, Pelosi, and Thad, who disappeared after Mark Levin called him out. I’ll never forget that Mark Levin said that he was a vote for Mitch every time. Levin said that Thad Cochran was “barely coherent”. Everyone agrees we need to fix this.
The 25th Amendment also needs to be amended so that anyone can reasonably challenge the mental or physical competency of the President, when the cabinet refuses to act.
More generally, I think that we should espouse the European notion of “vote of no confidence.” Englishmen can actually throw out their entire Parliament and replace it within two weeks. And, historically, they have done so more than once.
Why aren’t they voted out? Do we really need more laws to handhold the American people ?
