Ronald Rowe Jr., the acting director of the U.S. Secret Service, spoke at a congressional hearing today investigating the two assassination attempts of presidential candidate Donald Trump. After Representative Pat Fallon of Texas began questioning Rowe about his presence at a 2024 9/11 remembrance ceremony in New York, the two men engaged in a shouting match in which Rowe accused Fallon of using 9/11 for political purposes.
“You know why you were there? Because you want to be visible,” Fallon accused. “You are out of line, congressman,” Rowe responded. The shouting match devolved from there. WATCH:

Fallon should have told Rowe “Just shut the f**k up. Stop the political theater. You are a government servant, NOT a politician. Just answer my questions and otherwise, keep quiet.”
Rowe’s goal was to run out Rowe’s 5 minute clock, which he was successful in doing.
Now, in a COMPETENT GOP House, versus the 95% fake conservatives holding office as elected GOP House rep’s, the very next person, preferably the committee chairman, would take Fallon’s question right into the next five minutes, while telling Rowe the things I just said above.
I don’t blame Rep. Fallon for shouting. I might have done the same thing. Except, I’m not an elected House member, with the goal and obligation to get to the facts being obfuscated by Rowe’s theatrics. There’s smoke there. The GOP House (and that particularly includes my Rep Fulcher) needs to go after it with a fiery vengeance.

Mr. Rowe thinks this outburst will solidify his chance of retaining his job?? I do not blame Fallon for not backing off when someone is trying to gaslight him. Rowe just brought more dishonor to his job the SS and himself. PDJT, should immediately demand that his resignation be on his desk by 12 noon Jan. 20. He showed insubordination at the 9/11 ceremony by putting the security team(s) of the POTUS/VP?POTUS/VP elect in jeopardy by moving their detail out of range. If necessary, PDJT can leave that position unfilled and appoint a temporary standin until he can fully vett a new candidate. These people need to be reminded of who they work for and who they answer to. Mr. Fallon wasn’t “out of line”, but Rowe was definitively.
It would have been even funnier if after the Secret Service Director had his temper tantrum, the congressman had calmly said “we’re not talking about things that happened over two decades ago. We’re talking about how your agency failed this year in July.”
Can we stop pretending that these are foreign threats? I’m not worried about Iran. I’m worried about the scum bags within our own government.
