One of the many lame excuses Biden’s FEMA and SBA are using as to why they have been ignoring the victims of Hurricane Helene in Western NC is that the SBA loan funds are depleted and blaming Congress for not allocating even more money (after Biden wasted all those funds on illegals and DEI.)
Regardless of fundraising, both FEMA and the SBA need total overhauls. All of the FEMA no bid contracts need eliminated and about 75% of the DEI slanted criteria for SBA loans needs trashed.

If President Trump threw her a bone, fine with me. I would like nothing more than to see her unemployed shortly after the inauguration due to the work of DOGE. As a former commercial lender, I can tell you that SBA lending is a joke. No one lends money when the risk of repayment is too high. So, the SBA is not taking any more risk than a normal bank would take. There is simply no reason for the SBA to exist unless creating more red tape is their purpose and believe me, they excel at that job. .
Fyi, the Georgia coast Golden Isle is really a great destination … St Simon’s Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island…& further south. We’ve never run across the Control Group characters there:)
Small business doesn’t mean what you think it means. Most of the money goes to quite large companies, not the small Mom and Pop place down the street. The paper work to get anything is massive.
