For decades, we’ve listened to politicians speak “politician’; I.E. all the fancy talk meant to mesmerize us into believing they had our “best interests” at heart. And look at where we are, THEY are all rich, the county is trillions in debt, staring at the possibility of another hot war, potentially a world war, strapped with high taxes, people KEPT poor, so that our “leaders” can get elected on promises to fix things, but they never do, at least 2 generations of poorly educated citizens, “special groups” created to divide and pit us against one another. Reagan tried, but he was inside that bubble, hamstrung, unwittingly by the “political speakers”. Now we have TRUMP. For years prior, he hung with all those in the halls of power, he was a “star” in that élite world of the rich, listening, privately judging, learning, watching our country slowly begin to die. But he also, by the nature of his business, “had” to listen to US, through his dealings with those who really counted, worker and their families. He knows and emphasizes with the struggles and pain of US. He always had, and still does. His true nature sneaks thru all the bluster and commanding attitude, stories of the scores of people ti whom he helped on a private personal level. His not a god, he has cringey moments, but we should be fortunate to have him as president.
