Having been a former prosecutor and former lead staff on the House Intelligence Committee chaired by Devin Nunes, Kash Patel is a favorite of Steve Bannon and many folks in the MAGA community to be the next FBI Director.
In this interview Kash Patel outlines his perspectives on the challenges President Trump will face from the embeds within Main Justice, FBI, HPSCI, SSCI and the larger Intelligence Community. Patel outlines the importance of the legislative branch in the process of supporting the objective of the executive branch to confront corruption. WATCH:

I love Kash’s loyalty but this inteview makes him look like a boy – not a man.
He appears to be reading a teleprompter.
He is nervous.
We need a Clint Eastwood type right now. This interview did not instill confidence.
Sad because he has good qualities but you cannot teach the qualities that Matt Gaetz has…
Wow – we must have seen a different interview…I thought Patel seemed very confident and fully in control of the facts. He has been in the mix of all of this for MANY years, and his position and loyalty to President Trump has never wavered. Matt Gaetz, for some bizarre reason, has walked away from Congress, withdrawn his name from the AG position, AND is now selling birthday greetings for $500 a pop on a bizarre website!
Let’s hope Gaetz is in a holding pattern waiting for a call that says he’s needed. Taking a real job would mean he wouldn’t be available. I’m liking he’s waiting and finding the birthday greetings hysterical.
I like the idea of Matt Gaetz as……..Special Prosecutor!
Now….lets see. What and who are we going after first!
Not a bad idea
I would say “a good idea” and not use the negative to say a positive.
He would have to receive Senate confirmation. That could be problematic.
I thought that as Assistant DA no senate confirmation was required
Rock on! David Hans! 🙂
I’ve always thought if one is denied something much desired, it’s often because something better is in the offing.
His time has not come…yet.
Yeah ok…
He looked great to me! Of course I have been following him and his appearances for years.
I agree with this post. Little boy? Meds?
You saw the right interview, viking mom. The Democrat sabatotuers are out in full force across the blogs, discrediting everyone who threatens them. They us the exact same format., but slightly different words. Be ready for them.
Today’s Democrats are NOT the same as when my dad was around! He’d never believe a Kennedy would team up with a Republican!
I thought he was fantastic. He’s obviously extremely bright, highly perceptive, and courageous. He knows where all the bodies are buried.
One thing is for sure. He wasn’t nervous, he was in your face truthful.
Hmm, so, ya’d rather have low energy at FBI?
I hear Jeb Bush might be available. 🙃😁
He always has that sort of intense stare.
Maybe he is a “boy”. He’s a BIG boy playing in the gladiators area. ‘Nuff for me!
We need the chaff separated from the wheat!
McCabe hates him. Patel said “make my day”.
i didn’t perceive nervousness. i sensed urgency. care.
Yes, he’s trying to say as much as he can as quickly as he can because our situation is dire! He’s got limited time in these segments. He was perfect!
No, he’s NOT nervous. NO, he’s not reading from a teleprompter. You fail to understand that he has an eye problem, which makes him look weird at times. He is quite capable.
You understand he has a glass eye. It might seem like he is reading off a teleprompter because of his eye and we have not been used to seeing competent people for 4 years.
Kash has a glass eye? I’ve been watching him for years and never knew that.
Do you have a link to this information?
Just because one isn’t bombastic and performative, doesn’t mean that they aren’t an effective communicator. I’ve always found Kash Patel to seem intelligent and straightforward. He called for sunlight and exposure, so the American people can see the facts about DOJ corruption. Usually those that are loudest, do the least. I like his matter of fact attitude
I’d be nervous too. He wrote “Government Gangsters” and he knows what he ia facing.
Thank you.
Kash nervous…lol. I don’t think so. He was just trying to get all his points in during this short window of time.
Matt Gaetz had his flaws too. Everyone does.
I’ve seen him many times with Bannon. I’m sorry, you are mistaken even here.
Oh brother.
I love this site and have a great deal of respect for Sundance. The problem is the commenters, many of whom seem spend their time looking for the slightest imperfection in every proposed member of the Trump administration. What’s amazing is the man we wholeheartedly support is the most imperfect of them all. Let me suggest if you’re looking for someone who is spotless, He came down from Heaven in the form of a man a little over 2000 years ago. The rest of us are seriously flawed.
Most likely there is a monitor showing Maria near the camera that is shooting the the segment with Kash.
He is not looking directly into the camera, , at the monitor, hence the appearance that he is looking at a prompter.
He was articulate, and did not appear nervous in my opinion.
Edit: It also has been pointed out that he has a glass eye. That is probably the bigger cause of the appearance. I was not aware of that.
What I see….Is a man with complete control of the facts and can articulate them perfectly. Your teleprompter imagination is because he has a bit of an eye condition that is actually much better today than in the past.
That’s because Matt Gaetz speaks from deep conviction.
Couldn’t disagree with you more.
It is confusing when two of us use the same handle. Kash Patel spoke very clearly and had much to say. I don’t know if he used notes, had the questions before or used a teleprompter and I don’t care. I liked this interview…bill
Matt Gaetz has qualities people have become used to by the overwhelming amount of Anger Mgrs in politics.
I’m not saying he is one, I’m just saying I have noticed how, in spite of his rhetoric, the status quo manages to remain the same.
Yes, the Q and A between the interviewer and interviewee is obviously gone over ahead of time, but nothing new there. In fact, Maria mentions it.
Yes, the interviewee has that eyebrow tell, similar but not nearly as bad as Chuck Schumer, where one eyebrow wants to go up into his hairline given the tense pull of nerves around the eyes. Usually an eye massage beforehand eliminates it, but I’m not sure if the interviewee has physical eye issues that are causing it, instead of stress.
Overall, I didn’t get the salesman vibe or that I’m being managed in any way, which is incredibly refreshing. Talk about cracking open the facade. If anything, the interviewee wants to bring us into his thoughts on as much as possible.
And I like what he’s saying. I absolutely LOVE that his loyalty is not to Trump specifically, but to Americans thru our Constitution. He sticks to that thought and concern, it’s not just a sound bite.
The last about the Dept of Economic Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon as an unpaid non-govt Advisory Group to Trump, shows he’s not afraid of the new progressive movement, where high IQ thinkers openly go outside the establishment box, and don’t just understand new tech, but freely use it to provide transparency in order to change the unbelievably corrupt and embedded status quo.
I disagree.
Kash did fine.
I don’t want Wray and Mayorkas to show up. They tried to kill our President just like that grinning baboon Biden. They are murderers, seditionists and traitors. I hope I never hear another word from those jackleg criminals, except “Guilty, Your Honor.”
Agree – Kash never acts or talks like a grown man. And he wears Tshirts a lot of the time, this is not a good sign. The ones that talk the biggest, always fail to deliver, just like the big talkers in the House. They took no action to hold anyone accountable. Mikey Johnson is always busy doing selfies with other people on X, like THAT is supposed to impress us? He’s all optics, has no substance.
Word on Axios is Patel will become the next FBI Director!
I think he has the right stuff ideologically… and with his fidelity to Trump – America First will thrive!
Like Vance, who turned out to be a rock star, Kash just needs to grow into the job.
…should be awesome
Why at the end of interview was DOGE mentioned?
🤔🤔
Purge = swamp draining (?)
“HINT !”
Nice to see some “connective tissue” between the nominees….
The reason he mentioned “DOGE was going a long way to support that” is that in order to prosecute the criminalization and weaponization of the FBI and DOJ and other agencies, we will be helped by showing a motive.
Sundance says Trillions are at stake. The value of the the labor of American citizens is being raped and pillaged by criminals running loose in our government, banks, communication systems, and infrastructure. It is blatantly illegal, unconstitutional, and a threat to us individually, economically, and as a nation. Treason, sedition, theft, dishonesty, murder, illegal search, subversion of elections, and many other crimes are being committed.
Andrew Brietbart said, “War”
Our best weapons are to live our best lives, network and encourage those you love, ask questions, seek Truth, through sand in the machinery of our enemies and their mechanisms, call out the enemy, stand up for your interests, teach your children.
I like Kash. Impressive. Smart. Articulate. Calm. Confident. Effective speaker. Good resume. Speaking from original thinking gleaned from direct experience.
From above: “Sundance says Trillions are at stake” To wit, the $91 million the government pays to NPR each year. Megyn Kelly talking about this today. There are probably thousands of others.
Kash also mentioned the agencies and their budgets. IDK if he meant make them transparent or not overspend. Both work for me!
Fear of the truth and evidence getting to the American public.
They fear Kash because he will speak the truth with facts and evidence.
Sundance has two posts today about the Congress interfering with the Trump agenda. The candidates seem lethargic in energy and addled in comprehension.
I am lowering my expectations from ‘saving the country’ to preserving the status quo.
I don’t see MAGA surviving after Trump leaves office either.
#batteredMAGAsyndrome
You need to watch all three Rocky’s and the lord of the rings. Our time is coming and it will be glorious
i read the Lord of the rings ten times. our real Lord told us what is coming . i look at life as the great adventure. as jordan peterson said, let truth take you where it will. there can be no better outcome.
Yes indeed. I watched the movie Avatar about 100 times (not kidding) after my Mom passed away (and I’ve read the Lord of the Rings many times) , and am now re-reading the “Once and Future King. ” My great escape.
I was captured by the story in Avatar by Jake Sully “getting his legs back” because my Mother had a will to live bey0nd my comprehension and lived 10 more years after a brain stem stroke, and in her later years was confined to a wheel chair.
I learned a lot from her. Kind of wondering why I can’t let go of her. I think because it reminds me of Americans are going through now. I think it is the Will TO LIVE.
Like it not, that movie was about the MIC invading another world for their resources. The inhabitants of that Planet or place be dammed.
To me in these times, this is what is happening in the US of A. Too many years of telling people somehow they are retarded, or emotionally challenged if they do not go along with the sh*t show playing out on the telly (TV).
What wonderful, wonderful, wonderful world it will be when be when when there is another media person out there who is the same ilk of Walter Cronkite. And Yeah verily @gary, I think the time is coming where it is coming to pass.
I’m all in on this on seeing what the Lord has told me about what is coming. I am so happy to be alive and seeing it come to fruition in my lifetime. And yes, it is a time of Thanksgiving.
Apologize for my rambling thoughts full of so much emotion.
As a full-time caregiver to my 93 year old mom, I relate to what you said about our human will to live. There is a kind of strength and beauty to the end of life that is very instructive. My mother has developed humility and faith because of her weaknesses and as a result we are getting along better than I can ever remember. May the God of all comfort comfort you.
Cronkite was a leftist. He and his cohorts were still in the pretending phase back then.
Today we have the internet and the boob tube is history! Cronkite only had the boob tube. Same with Huntley/Brinkley!
Apology? You brought us into your world, and your Mom’s world. Your post was a gift!
Walter Cronkite was a liar and no different than the talking heads of today. He more than anyone else was responsible for us leaving South Vietnam with our tail between our legs. Many thousands of innocents died trying to escape the revenge enacted by the victorious North Vietnamese.
Who saw Trump and the MAGA movement coming in 2012? Yet, he became president in 2016. Lots can happen between now and 2028.
Tea Party was its first iteration. Look what Democrats, the Deep State and the smug Media did to them. But it never died. It lives.
Tea Party didn’t have a Trump either!
LOL. You err assuming MAGA is tied to only one person It is a movement that started well before Trump and swept through every part of this country, except the worst run remaining blue enclaves who are rapidly running out of OPM.
I don’t see the UniParty surviving the MAGA agenda! The people are behind Trump in making America great again! UniParty wants to tear it apart!
Sunlight ? What about prosecution? They didn’t hesitate for a second to go after trump
You are correct…and on the subject of “appointments…consider this:
So after Trump won the popular vote, the electoral college, all seven swing states, majorities in both chambers of Congress and the most minority support in decades republicans in the Senate:
1. Picked Thune to be Majority Leader- known Trump hater who didn’t want him to even run in 2024.
2. Put Mitch McConnell as the head of the rules committee and the defense spending committee- another known Trump hater who thwarted Trump’s first term agenda every step of the way.
3. Put Susan Collins as head of the appropriations committee – RINO of the first order…
That is called saying F you to their voters.
Defense spending, rules and appropriations are the three ways to stop a second term Trump agenda.
If we had the senate seats in Arizona, Nevada and WI… the establishment republicans would have been neutered.
Our biggest enemy are Republicans and we need to get super focused on making their life a living hell if they oppose the agenda that we voted for.
Neutered? The fix was in alright.
Its ok. And for the most part those points are valid. However understand Collins will be primaried, even if she is the best we can do in her state. McConnell is not running. That senator in UTAH will definitely be primaried as the senator in OK and Murkowski in AK.
MAGA is serious, and this time we have MUSK and Turning Point USA to help us see this through. All other haters like Thune and Graham would be wise to stand down and allow the nominees to go through.
BeShear will be running for that McConnell seat and he’s going to be hard to beat. He won another Governorship in KY….how, I don’t know but he is a vote getter/stealer/whatever he keeps getting elected.
I don’t even know who is in the ranks for KY Senate. Rand Paul is as squishy as they come lately, he used to be tough but something happened.
We need to be preparing a candidate NOW
We can bear Beshear if the Scott Pressler, Charlie Kirk, and Elon Musk coalition gets sent to KY for that election.
I never really realized how dangerous machine systems were until I was shocked by Matt Bevin “loss” and looked into it closely.
a) Unions counted votes
b) Many ballots had Beshear and all GOP downticket
c) Other ballots had only Beshear
d) Then…there’s the machines:
There are longer and more thorough videos on CD Media
A: It was stolen and Mitch cheated, too.
I have always said, the RINOs are more evil than the leftists and Progressive woke drama people. At least the left tells you who they are. RINOs pretend they love God, vets, and Americans, while they sell our country to the highest bidder or the worst enemy.
I remember going to Dr. J’s last game in Detroit at the Pontiac Silverdome. There was a heckler behind the Sixers bench who mocked him relentlessly. Julius being a professional ignored him. I don’t think Susan Collins and her ego could withstand the same. Food for thought.
Agreed. Hopefully Musk buys MSNBC and uses it to reveal all the facts and details of the abuse of power by DOJ CIA FBI DHS, etc. The People have a right to know the truth.
And… uses MSNBC to explain what and why all these agencies must be cleaned out and includes running lists of all the graft and waste discovered by his and Vivek’s efforts to save the taxpayers money by eliminating this waste and graft.
AND, discussions re: how to create real election integrity… which is critical to our freedom. We should not have to create a vote “to big to rig” every election. Election stealing needs to stop.
Yes, states have the right to set their own election rules but those rules cannot be DESIGNED to make election fraud easy to commit as is the case in most blue states now.
AND the truth re: J6 needs to be revealed too and 95% of the J6ers currently incarcerated need to be freed… and receive some back-pay. We need them to discuss publically how many were tortured in our own prisons which is totally unacceptable.
We can begin to fix the country when we get the RINOs out of the Senate (about 46 if them?).
Who are running those committees (State) that screen out the good candidates to run in the primaries?
I could use some assistance in finding out who they are. I’ve not had much success in my searching.
Right but I think cheating was first used in state elections. Find it hard to believe that Kentucky would continue to return McConnell to the senate. Therefore, President Trump beat the federal system this time around, but many senators/representatives still kept their seats. In 2016 we were told to not vote down ticket but for new blood. Didn’t work then. Will it ever be effective?
They need to be primaried!
If the FBI declassifies all the abuses of the FISA surveillance system, the American people will demand legislative changes. Why does the current director do everything to keep us in the dark? We are the jury and we need the evidence. I say, Bring it on!
No Control over Senate = No Control over the DoJ = NO PROSECUTIONS.
Thune: Senate Majority leader
McConnell: Senate Rules Committee
Susan Collins: Senate Appropriations Committe
Langford: Senate Intel Committee
More “great assignments” to come.
It may be months before president Trump seats a cabinet.
This is headed for 2017-2020 redo, if we are lucky.
Someone, please remind me again how these four RINOS became the leader of their particular committees?
From the outside looking in, their presence, each and every one of them, signify major problems for President Trump to get ANY of his MAGA mandates “up and running.”
Thune, himself, just like McConnell did for four years previously, has the power to prevent any bill seen as beneficial to the Maga Movement from even reaching the floor for a vote. Accordingly, such measures are cast aside and NEVER see the light of day.
So, again, who are the real roadblocks to draining the swamp and bringing forth truth & justice? Asking for a friend.
Don’t forget Trump knows how to say “Your Fired”! Bident doesn’t even know what flavor ice cream to get!
Sunday. Fox News. Maria Bartiromo, looking concerned. Tomorrow is Monday. Time for CTH Thanksgiving recipes.
Kash, and the rest of you wannabe cabinet leaders, we want retribution with no excuses and no regrets.
Screw the transparency BS. Stop with ‘the constitution’ bull and stop with the Congress bull.
It’s just an intellectual game to these clowns. Infuriating.
Patel is exactly correct.
You can’t bake a cake in a cold oven.
You can’t get the necessary convictions without first getting clean judges and an unbrainwashed jury pool.
You can’t even get MAGA cabinet officers confirmed until sunlight truly lands on the cockroaches like Lankford.
There is a reason Elon Musk has been tweeting ” Sunlight is the Best Disinfectant” on repeat lately.
Tucker Carlson and Glenn Greenwald just outlined how Mike Johnson twisted on a dime into a pro- surveillance goblin after having been against renewing the Patriot Act, after basically one meeting with the CIA, and they both more or less said the cause of the change was blackmail.
If you release all that decades of blackmail, the whole house of cards collapses into a pile of ashes.
Patel understands this
Sunlight first, prosecutions follow.
Hard to prosecute the victims of suicide.
But it’s surely worth a try.
Sunlight is a good disinfectant but fire will eliminate the impurities and purify the product. I am with Bill on this, I would rather we start with blazing saddles. Let the pieces fall were they may.
Kash Patel is on the team we must support. He knows where the skeletons are buried.
“It’s up to congress and the senate” – That’s the tricky part.
What a contrast to the Waltz’s scripted babble!
My read on this interview: I wouldn’t want to play poker with Patel. His face is expressionless. Very fluent speaker, and very direct. Confident. Earnest. Telling you like he sees it.
<I wouldn’t want to play poker with Patel.>
Yes…Kash is good at poker…
In a private DC game, he took all the Transportation Secretary’s money.
Buttigieg couldn’t keep a straight face 🙂
He did withstand an inqueery.
Everything I’ve read, heard and seen about Kash Patel tells me he’s solid as a brick and will work with Bondi and Blanche to pursue arrogant traitors like Wray, Mayorkas, Brennan, Comey, McCabe and a host of other bad cops who operated under the assumption that they’d never be held to account.
Work with is the key phrase here, as we’ve mostly been evaluating Trump’s cabinet choices in isolation, but that’s not the way it will be. Unless I miss my guess, dress rehearsals of all the Deep State fumigators have already taken place at Mar A Lago and these men and women are loaded for bear on day one!
And let’s not forget about Matt Gaetz, who’s showing interest in a Trump appointment as Special Counsel, (ala Jack Smith & Robert Mueller), to pursue many of the bad players Bondi should be indicting.
Kash Patel speaks of the dangers of now having a Lame Duck president who, along with his cabinet, don’t feel the need to be accountable to anyone, and how this leads to the extremely dangerous situation, like what’s happening with our ties to Ukraine, and Russia. The true danger is not that Biden has recently become a Lame Duck president. The danger is that, because of his mental capacity, he’s been one since the first day of his administration, and so there has never been anyone in his cabinet feeling a need to be responsible for their actions. Seeing the end of their reign draw near heightens that danger for us exponentially.
Somehow I didn’t find any comfort from the words Kash Patel spoke in this interview. But I don’t think I have confidence in anything in these times.
Cast not away your confidence{in the LORD}, which has great recompense of reward.
Heb 10:35
Trust God. Fear not.
agree
Sackings are the best disinfectant.
Russia and China are not our enemies. Our enemy is in Washington DC!
Sunlight didn’t disinfect the system when the plotters of the Russia hoax were exposed. They all still got their salaries and gigs on air and book deals.
If they had all lost their jobs and been charged including Hillary and her lawyers, America would be a safer place today.
Even worse, the getaways spawned the trusty planner merch selling industry of perpetual “fighters”.
They make a ton of $$$$ off of the never ending “fight”.
He keeps selling a program that does not appear to be shaping up as a MAGA show with all the appointments that have never been on the MAGA row boat
The only reason why Wray and Mayorkas are not willing to testify is because they know full well they can no longer lie to the Senate and House committees while counting on Trump DOJ’s leniency.
In fact, they are “taking the 5th.”
“Kash is a favorite of Steve Bannon ….” and “outlines the importance of the (IC controlled) legislative branch in the process of supporting the objective of the executive branch to confront corruption.”
Understood. 😉
Sick and tired of seeing the whole Bannon/Posobiac crowd jerking around with Mr. Patel and pumping up his ego – for a job that would not be to the benefit of the incoming President of the United States in his goal to making America great again. It’s not a job for choirboys.
The entire push of this man for a position that is not open is just pure game play so that when Mr. Patel is not offered the job those two talking heads can get more of the incoming grift by going on and on about how bad it is Mr. Patel did not get the job offered to him.
Too bad it’s always cloudy in DC.
Kash Patel and Ric Grennell were two of my favorites from Trump’s last Administration.
I think Kash would be an excellent choice.
Kash Patel puts his money where his mouth is. He doesn’t have to be a great TV actor. That he may be uncomfortable on air is a sign of his integrity. He’s feared by the Deep State because he will accomplish what he sets out to do. The level of fear among establishment grifters says it all. Kash’s voice is in his sword.
I like Kash Patel, but one of the things that concerns me in this interview is the number of times he refers to these agency heads reporting to Congress and how they work for the American people. The fact is that these agencies and cabinet secretaries work for the President and not Congress or the American people. The Attorney General works for the President. The Secretary of State works for the President. The President is the one who works for the American people and can be fired by the American people if they are unhappy with how he manages or directs his departments. Yes, Congress has oversight responsibility but ultimately the President decides the goals and objectives of each agency and department and has the right to determine how it operates. If someone in that department is not following lawful orders than the President has the authority to remove or reassign them. Congress always has the Impeachment and removal process if they believe the President is committing High Crimes or Misdemeanors. My biggest problem with President Trump in his first term was that I don’t believe he understood this and often used his powers ineffectively. When Jeff Sessions recused himself Trump should have told him to rescind the recusal or submit his resignation. When Fauci got out of control he should have ordered him to chill out or be exiled to his office. My hope is that in his second term President Trump understands his authority better and uses it unhesitatingly. If there are failures in his administration it is he who has failed and it is he we have to hold accountable.
Don’t agree that sunlight is the road to recovery for all the three letter agencies. First, true sunlight will never happen and second, you can light a corner but the villain is still there. We don’t need the shadows removed; we need a thorough washing of get rid of the dirt.
Agree. Sunlight is the first step. We have a constitution. We are ethical. People are innocent until proven guilty. You can’t justly embarrass, prosecute, incarcerate, or hang for high treason without due process unless we want to ditch the constitution and have a country in anarchy.
Funny thing, though, with sunlight, nefarious behavior often stops, AND you can still prosecute.
The legal, financial, procedural silos and smoke and mirrors are all intentionally created to make dark corners where dirty deeds can be done. We need sunlight in all those corners.
I’ve never trusted this guy and still don’t. He didn’t object when congress was renewing the FISA/spy on Americans act. I think he is just another DC opportunist.
All the sunlight that broke out revealing the IC , legacy media and uniparty complicity in the Russia collusion lie was not enough. Yes the truth is out there but nobody was held accountable. Further evidence like Adam Schiff the manure spreading machine was just elected to Senator and Marco Rubio nominated as SOS. One perpetuated the lie the other was tight lipped. Both knew all along it was a lie. No accountability and no consequences late stage signs of a failing government.
The biggest challenge? The traitors in congress.
If McCabe is trashing Kash, then it is clear that Trump is above the target and should nominate him when the time comes that Wray is terminated or terminates himself.
Wray and Mayorkas have helped put the U.S.A. at extreme risk, the most danger we’ve ever seen.
This appearance as witness in CO case tells you a lot about Kash:
Unfortunately for the flagrantly rebellious IC, there has been a precedent set for contempt of Congress leading to imprisonment.
“Digitally control us and inject us to death.”
