The nomination of former Florida AG Pam Bondi for the position of U.S. Attorney General is a big mistake; not for the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of, but rather for the background of Pam Bondi the Deep Swamp is almost certainly aware of.
Within the background story of state AG corruption and unlawful activity, Pam Bondi is very easily leveraged, blackmailed and controlled.
I presume at this writing that President Donald Trump is completely unaware of what Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi did during her time in office. The Florida Governor at the time was Rick Scott, who could most certainly corroborate much of the background, albeit now with layers and layers of serious political ramifications.
If you followed the story around the Trayvon Martin shooting and the subsequent arrest, jail and trial of George Zimmerman, you probably know the majority of what Florida AG Pam Bondi did. However, it was almost 12-years-ago now. So, for those who don’t remember here’s the story.
On the evening of February 26, 2012, in Sanford Florida, George Zimmerman fired one shot into the heart of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, fatally killing him.
The Sanford Police lead investigator into the shooting was Chris Serino; the Police Chief was Bill Lee, and the local prosecutor was Norm Wolfinger.
Detective Chris Serino questioned and investigated George Zimmerman, who used a traditional “self-defense” justification for the shooting. Eventually the case went to trial and the same “self-defense” justification was used in court. Despite what you might have heard in the media, it was never a “stand your ground” defense. It simply was not needed.
In addition to questioning Zimmerman, Serino documented two eye-witnesses to the shooting. One woman in an apartment who saw the initial encounter between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, and another eye-witness, a man in an adjacent apartment who saw and partially recorded, the entire confrontation as it unfolded on the pathway approximately 20 feet from him.
The second witness called 911 and described in real time what he was seeing. Trayvon was straddling George in an “MMA style” position and slamming Zimmerman’s head into the sidewalk. During the 911 recording you can hear Zimmerman calling out, “help me; somebody help me.” [NOTE: Both of those witnesses as well as the recording were later buried but came out at trial.]
After a thorough investigation, all of the statements by George Zimmerman were corroborated by the eye-witnesses, the forensic evidence, the audio recording, and all the physical evidence found at the scene. Detective Chris Serino gave his investigative report to Police Chief Lee along with the recommendation that Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense was valid and justified. Serino and Lee then consulted with prosecutor Norm Wolfinger who reviewed the evidence and agreed.
ESSENTIALLY: Zimmerman was looking for Trayvon, who appeared from the bushes (Witness #1) punched Zimmerman in the face, and then the fight went down the sidewalk to where they ended up on the ground (Witness #2). After Zimmerman was screaming for help, getting his head slammed into the concrete, he pulled a pistol from his belt and fired one shot into the chest of Martin. All witnesses and evidence supported this series of events.
Detective Chris Serino had the responsibility to tell Trayvon Martin’s father, Tracy Martin, his findings from the investigation. He played the audio from the 911 call as part of his explanation to Tracy Martin and his girlfriend Brandy Greene.
Having just ended a relationship with Alicia Stanley, essentially the only mother Trayvon had ever known, Brandy Greene enters the picture with Tracy Martin. Sybrina Fulton from Miami Gardens was presented as Trayvon’s mother later on; however, Trayvon had not lived with Sybrina for almost 10-years. Alicia Stanley was Trayon’s rock, and now she was out of the picture.
Brandy Greene was not happy. As a corrections worker, Ms. Brandy Greene was eventually put into contact with a Florida “civil rights lawyer” named Benjamin Crump. After some back-and-forth positioning and discussion, Crump decided to champion a wrongful death case for the Martin family against George Zimmerman, the City of Sanford and the Sanford Police Department.
Benjamin Crump hired a PR firm run by Ryan Julison to create media pressure. Using his civil rights contacts, Crump requested support from groups like Al Sharpton, Dream Defenders, and allies in the DOJ. That approach led to AG Eric Holder and eventually President Barack Obama.
Additionally, having worked previously (2007) with Florida prosecutor Pam Bondi in the Martin Lee Anderson case, Benjamin Crump called the now Florida Attorney General Bondi for support. The detective (Serino) sided with George Zimmerman. The Police Chief, Bill Lee, agreed with Serino and the evidence. The local Sanford prosecutor (Norm Wolfinger) refused to bring a case against Zimmerman based on the evidence.
…. Enter Florida AG Pam Bondi, who told Florida Governor Rick Scott a special prosecutor was needed for her friend Ben Crump.
Police Chief, Bill Lee, was removed from authority; then the local prosecutor, Norm Wolfinger, was removed; eventually the lead Detective, Chris Serino, was removed.
No prosecutor in Florida wanted to touch the case because the evidence against Zimmerman just didn’t exist. However, Florida AG Bondi replaced the Sanford officials with State investigators working for a new “special prosecutor” Angela Corey, out of Jacksonville.
District Attorney Angela Corey (pictured above right in pearls) was Pam Bondi’s campaign manager.
Martin family attorney’s Benjamin Crump and Daryl Parks then began creating a fabricated case construct to sell to the media. The PR firm led by Ryan Julison provided the initial media contacts and narrative distribution of the fabricated case. The majority of that fabricated case still exists in the public psyche despite all of the truth that came out during the trial of a transparently innocent George Zimmerman.
Pam Bondi was part of that fraudulent prosecution architecture. In fact, without her origination the state case against Zimmerman was non-existent. Everything told about the Trayvon Martin shooting was a lie, including his age, the “skittles and iced-tea” story, this background criminal record, Trayvon’s known drug use, and just about everything else. It was all an entirely manufactured Lawfare case, pushed to a compliant media.
None of the witness statements were ever in the media. None of the (full context) 911 call evidence was ever in the media. None of the images of George Zimmerman’s face and head were ever in the media. None of the corroborating forensic evidence was ever in the media. None of the accurate pictures of Trayvon Martin were ever in the media. Nothing. It was one big, fabricated Lawfare operation headed by Benjamin Crump and Special Prosecutor Angela Corey.
However, it’s actually worse. The State Prosecutors and Benjamin Crump claimed there was an “ear-witness”, witness #8 at trial, a mysterious Trayvon Martin “girlfriend” witness they refused to identify but swore she heard Zimmerman threatening and attacking Trayvon Martin.
At the trial you saw witness #8 as Rachael “that’s retarded sir” Jeantel.
This was the state star prosecution witness used to construct the case against Zimmerman, and she was protected and isolated until the very last second when she was called to the stand at trial.
Except there was an immediate problem, Jeantel was never an ear-witness, she was never Trayvon’s girlfriend, she only had cursory knowledge of Trayvon when he infrequently visited the neighborhood in Miami Gardens, and she never authored the supposed statement attributed to her; heck, she couldn’t even read it, and she was NEVER Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend.
Everything about Rachael Jeantel as a witness was entirely fabricated by Ben Crump and Angela Corey. They literally put a fabricated witness on the stand. Attorney General Pam Bondi knew all about it, in real time, as the false witness was being created and flown back and forth from Miami to Jacksonville in order to try and get some form of story aligned.
Let me be very clear. Florida AG Pam Bondi knew that her special prosecutor, Angela Corey, and her friend, Benjamin Crump, had manufactured an entirely false and fictitious witness against George Zimmerman. [CITATION]
Everyone, including AG Pam Bondi, was willing to put a transparently innocent man into prison; even to the extent of manufacturing a witness; in order to achieve a racially equitable political outcome that would assist their careers.
And don’t forget, throughout this entire time – George Zimmerman was kept locked in jail, pending trial.
This same Pam Bondi is the person President Trump is relying upon to clean out the corruption in Washington DC’s Main Justice system.
Pam Bondi is the person who is going to stop “weaponizing” the justice system?
Think about it.
Many of you are probably reading this aspect of the story for the first time. However, what we do know with as much certainty as we knew going into the George Zimmerman trial, is that every element of the Deep State knows exactly what Pam Bondi did in Florida with that case in 2012 and 2013.
The Intelligence Community and the people who control the DOJ know every single detail of that corrupt Bondi timeline, complete with emails, call logs, transcripts, text messages, strategy meeting notes and more.
They know all of it, and they will leverage that as blackmail (and more) against her just as soon as President Trump starts to think Pam Bondi is going to make a difference.
Wrongful prosecution by the State, on the scale of manufacturing false witnesses, does not have a statute of limitations.
In 2016 President-elect Donald Trump did not know his Nat Sec Advisor Mike Flynn was an unregistered foreign lobbyist for Turkey.
In 2024, I highly doubt President-elect Donald Trump has any idea what attack vectors a completely compromised Pam Bondi carries into the AG role. Including her being a registered foreign lobbyist for Qatar.
We shall see…..
Pam Bondi, Trump's new pick for Attorney General, was a registered foreign lobbyist on behalf of Qatar. She received $115,000 a month for her undoubtedly exceptional lobbying services pic.twitter.com/Sqi6fHa8Bx

Republican Senators allowing liberal judges to fly through the senate.
Bondi for AG
Andy McCabe approved Rogers for FBI director
All we need now is for Susie Wiles buddy Bill Gates to unleash another virus and we will be back to 2020.
Drain the swamp my ass, he is restocking the critical positions in the swamp with the worse swamp people.
Good Morning Treepers,
So, I’m not a 3D chess man. I’m more of a tic-tac-toe with my grand-kids kinda guy. But after spending the last 4 years feeling hopeless, I’m not quite ready to give up on hope after God’s grace gave it back to us just a few short days ago. Based on that hope, I offer the following possibility.
Trump picked Pam Bondi because he expects her nomination to grease the skids in the senate for all of his DOJ picks. She and her immediate underlings will be confirmed shortly after the new senate session begins in early January. After that, Desantis can select Pam Bondi to replace Marco Rubio as a Florida Senator, which is a job she probably would prefer anyway. At that point, Trump’s senate confirmed Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch will become acting AG.
I know, hope is not a strategy. But it feels too good to throw it away so soon.
“But it feels too good to throw it away so soon.”
The alternative was President Kamala. I’ll take President Trump 1 million times over. He’ll do what he’ll do. We have no control. We can help by making it known the R’s in the Senate need to confirm every pick and give him the Cabinet he wants.
So why not Ken Oaxton?
Not a fan of Bondi at all! Bad pick!
So why not Ken Paxton?
We need him to stay in Texas.
Silly question – he’s not swamp…!
That’s who I want
To me…Paxton was the right pick.
Great idea or how about Giuliana or Gen. Flynn?
Or Levin.
Several from TX on X say pick someone else; they need him in TX. I think he would be great.
Another suggestion was Mark Levin, but what about his ties to Israel???
The country needs him more than Texas. He will do Texas more good in the White House than in Texas. The tide must turn or it won’t matter who your state AG is.
He said he didn’t want the job and likes being AG in Texas.
This is also the case where the phrase “White Latino” came into existence; the prosecutors needed to make this into a black vs white racial story. Have yet to see a “Black Latino” story but there must be, right? 🙂
When she picks Matt Gaetz for Special Counsel, the deep state will not be smiling.
She will be doing no such thing! She’s pure swamp! Did you not read ANY of this article by Sundance?
It was a fight to the finish to clear Mr Zimmerman. CTH and Jack Cashill (I believe) were two of the biggest reasons George eventually walked free. Not that he walked free into a bliss-filled life with sighs of relief – that did NOT happen.
If you are not aware of any of those circumstances, you definitely need to go check out some of Sundance’s links.
It’s dangerous to be so unknowledgeable (or naive) about something that was done and could happen to ANYONE!
They would have given him the death penalty if they could have…and with zero remorse – just as the raging leftists remove any that are in their way by heartlessly removing them or their family members from the living – ruthless, conscienceless people.
Jack Cashill wrote a book about it. I do believe it may not be as accurate in all regards, as Sundance’s threads from back when – but it’d bring all you unknowing up to speed.
Someone on TruthSoc needs to send this book and/or CTH threads and info to PDJT. Or just put on blast – all over TruSoc to everyone you know on it. Get it out there!
Obammy and his poor little Trayvon idolization was used for Cashill’s title… ” ‘If I had a Son’: Race, Guns, and the Railroading of George Zimmerman
Jack Cashill is an independent writer and producer who has written for Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Weekly Standard. Cashill writes weekly for WND and has authored nine books of nonfiction under his own name, five of which have been featured on Book-TV, and collaborated quietly…”
this is disheartening…. i thought she sounded like a great pick!
There is also AG Bondi chief of staff for Gaetz.
Excellent summation, SD – thank you for the exceptional play by play reminder.
For the longest time following the 2020 steal, I simply refused to watch and read the news – I just went about my way yet carried with me the belief that ‘The Donald’ lacked the ability, skill set, whatever, to select strategic and exceptional people. I actually began to think this well into his first term. He didn’t know who to pick, evidenced by just about everything we watched unfold – relying on the GOPe nuts and bolts advice. He seemed to be of the belief that if he supported someone, it would be reciprocated. My guess is that he projected his own character traits upon others and was simply naive, in spite of the fact he’d navigated the rough and tumble construction world of NYC. I’ll always remember how he invited the embrace with that snake Comey, standing amongst a group in the Oval. Comey even looked incredulous as he saw Trump’s extended arms across the room, surprised by the invitation. He thought Jeff Sessions was a great pick, who buried his head at the first sight of trouble. Then he supported that craven McConnell for reelection, getting nothing in return.
At least this time he’s not relying on the ‘First Daughter’s’ advice. So there’s that. I’ve been reading the same old ‘3-D chess’ comments and all that, again. No, there’s no 3-D chess. I’m afraid its Naivety 2.0. Its likely Gaetz reassured the inner group there was nothing to the allegations, he’d been cleared, no charges filed, etc. etc., and that was that, until it wasn’t.
Bondi is an amateur swimming with sharks. There’s no gravitas. Its highly unlikely DeSantis appoints Gaetz to the Senate – why would he? Gaetz is the architect of his own demise. Please feel free to tell me how I’m wrong.
I am with you did the same thing as following lies on a daily basis put on by professional Soap Oprah Actors was too much to sort out eventually realizing 85% is lies the other 15 are mistakes made by the little retarded girl. There are Trillions at stake. Unless he topples the FED and stops taxing the peoples wages so the 1% can live well. Nothing real will happen. A lot to say in the soap Oprah world but for us we are Serfs. Even though he was saved by the Lord he hasn’t publically came out and claimed anything without a public confession the deal doesnt work the answer is still the same at the pearly Gates.
Charlie Kirk is either blind or Deep State himself.
What is wrong with this picture? Like choosing Chris Christie to be your AG.
Sometimes people forget how YOUNG Charlie Kirk is.
Experience and age are the greatest teachers.
BS!
They were told to praise her. They know our guy LOVES praise.
Well, msnbc lies all the time so…
Thats what they want us to think so it feels like a win. The quandary is do people every really change? So she did these things, but one day woke up and realized she was on the wrong side? What is she willing to do or say to convince not only we the people, but also the establishment of this change? If she quoted this story and said it was 100% true and that she knows now she was fighting for the wrong side and that this cannot be used to extort her. She will face a jury of her peers at the appropriate time. Same for all the compromised Senators, what if they all came out with these horrendous stories on their own, publicly, for the purpose of exposing the extortion. Would we be willing to give these people a chance to continue to serve uncompromised? Would that be better than kicking them out and having them exchanged for other people who will be selected precisely because they ARE compromised? How do we get out of this?
After eight years of being in the thick of the politics of Washington DC, Trump does not have a list of friends and foes, then we have elected the wrong person. Why would he NOT know the history of Pam Bondi, Gaetz, Rogers, Patel? He has had four years to get feed back from his known friends, and add to his list obvious foes. If he still cannot get it right by now…. something is askew.
I know about it and I wasn’t on this site at the time it was happening. I did find out when I came here and at some point I looked in the archives and found it.
I’m just a grandma from Ohio and I know what Bondi did. Shouldn’t she be in jail or something for allowing witness fabrication?
Many of us just thought President Trump was just blindsided in 2016 because he was new to Washington and didn’t know who to trust. After all he has been through you would think he’d be a little better at this. I just hope someone gets to him and alerts him. But if he is isolated and protected from information by his closest advisor, I guess our only hope is that Melania knows and tells him.
I love Cedar Point myself! One thing should be understood, however, from a legal POV. The number of prosecutions for perjury at the state and federal level are minuscule compared to the amount of times the crime is actually prosecuted, much less a conviction rendered. It’s a difficult prime to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. But when you talk about pursuing the proponent of that testimony, the individual lawyer who knowingly calls a witness to the stand who he/she believes will give perjured evidence, is an ever more complicated and difficult case. And Bondi is at least 2x removed from that position. In short, there’s no reason to believe that Bondi herself should ‘be in jail’. I think maybe you’re just a bit too far over your ski tips here. It is a mistake to look at this scenario on the assumption of the worst. I think all of those here should remain optimistic. not sadistically pessimistic. The right guy won the election. He’s interested in willing the issue for the nation as well. Cleaning the Augean Stables at the DOJ/FBI/IC is but one of many pressing national issues. My operating assumption is that he’s picking the people he has clear reason to think will press on with addressing those issues.
I meant to say…”minuscule compared to the amount of times the crime is actually committed, much less a conviction rendered.” It is a problem, but juries and judges usually see the problem and address it in their verdict. She wasn’t believable and Zimmerman was acquitted.
I was thinking the same thing exactly about Melania and prayed to God that he would use her to speak some truth to him. I’m not sure she knows these things but God can put it in her way so she sees it. Baron might be able to do that as well. I better start praying for him too. Someone needs to help this man figure it out. God please help Trump figure it out and don’t let him be led astray by evil and or stupid people, thank you.
Seems that Mr. Trump has not yet fully learned the lessons taught during the years 2016-2019.
We know President Trump, or at least people in his orbit, read Treehouse. Hopefully this information gets where it needs to go, so President Trump can correct this egregious error.
He isn’t getting anything from CTH is my bet.
Too late now. He would look foolish if he swapped Bondi for a third nominee.
In before #BondoBondi starts.
Sundance. can’t you contact Trump and talk to him about this???
He has told us “no.”
Someone or someones don’t want that to happen, so Sundance has told us.
Recall that SD was ignored when he made his pilgrimage to DC years ago to present all the receipts on DS plots and crimes. I am confident that PDJT knew the content of SD’s information portfolio, but he was powerless to influence the DS acolytes who refused to meet with/act on SD’s MAGA-level reveal.
Moreover, the thin majority in the House and the RINO Trump haters in the Senate may be capable of neutering the legislative support required by PDJT to MAGA.
By any means of score keeping, the DS is undefeated.
I posted this in the Presidential thread as well.
Something to think about regarding the Bondi nomination. The “corruption” related to Bondi all seems to date back to the Zimmerman case which Sundance has thoroughly reported on.
Perhaps she was forced into those actions by the DOJ-CRS. Did she have a relationship with Crump prior to the Zimmerman case? Maybe she has the receipts on the corrupt actions of the DOJ.
Just my humble bumble opinion but…
It’s hard to read comments from the self proclaimed faithful. This man has laid everything thing on the line for you, even his life and those closest to him. I understand confusion fog of war, call it whatever you like but hold the damn line this sh*t show is just getting started. He has accomplished more for us than any other leader in our lives, loyalty….try it.
Loyalty is why we comment. She is a snake!
Exactly.
Well said
Jury is still out. I suppose everyone has a checkered past at this level.
Sundance, I truly believe that God is moving to open PDJT’s eyes to the snakes and wolves in his inner circle.
If indeed Susie Wiles is the one behind this nomination, it will put a dent into PDJT’s loyalty and complete trust, faith and belief in her and what part she’s played and is playing behind the scenes.
I’ve been praying about her because of her background and because loyalty is extremely important to PDJT – she’s been an integral part of his circle for quite a long time.
All evil will be exposed and Praise be to God for bringing this to pass!
These snakes and wolves in his inner circle are a huge threat to PDJT’s very life.
They’ve been underground in his circle for just such times as these – when desperate times call for even more desperate measures – for not just the Deep State’s existence – but for everyone that is a part of it – it’s all their treasonous lives on the line!
Pray, pray, pray everyone – for exposure of every snake and wolf anywhere near him or in the surrounding vicinity- to be fully exposed and to suffer the reward of Haman, to experience our God of Justice’s hand in what they’ve earned from their actions.
Pray them down – call them out, call on God to move…
To God Be All the Glory!
Amen and Amen!
I’m guessing that Blondi became a lobbyist providing “consulting and advocacy services regarding matters involving anti-human trafficking” for nefarious reasons.
If she had first hand access to the filth of human trafficking, and she is known for being less than forthright, it is painful to think of what may have actually taken place with the information she was given.
Why doesn’t Zimmerman go after Bondi and the others that framed him, if all the evidence is so clear?
And with what is he supposed to do this with? He’s lucky if he’s got two nickels to rub together.
They DESTROYED him – do you think any attorney (or anyone else) is going to come within three inches of him?
You’ve seen what they’ve done to attorneys working with PDJT, have you not?
Think what you’d be able to accomplish if his shoes were on your feet…
Zimmerman was found not guilty (despite the malfeasance).
Good question. But would he have mysteriously ended up dead. Like Foster, Rich, et al?
Never knew that about Bondi
YOU’RE THE FAKE.
The Trayvon/Zimmerman case is what brought me to the TreeHouse and I’ve been parked here, EVERY DAY, since finding this site.
AG Bondi’s actions during that time period was the spark that began the ensuing BLM riots and our Cities burning for 3-4 years.
WTH is Trump thinking with this pick?
FCK OFF, FED
I’m a retired Marine and lifelong conservative. Have voted for PDJT three times. Now wondering if he looked / sounded so good because the Dems are so bad and evil. I am a fan of Sundance but disagree that Trump didn’t know about the background of Bondi and Gaetz. Does Trump not conduct any level of due diligence before announcing these picks? Good grief.
I’ve watched Trump for 45 yrs because he was always exposing the deep state and because I knew he would be president one day. He works in VERY unusual ways. Pretty much everyone he has hired for various positions are deep state. He is exposing them to the public and he also knows they will commit further crimes, which he can then prosecute them for. Also he needs to stay under the radar of deep state and if he hires the deep state people they will think he is either too stupid to catch on to their tricks or that he is also deep state. Trump has always won every single time an enemy tried to take him down because of his unusual methods. He knows how to fight and win LEGITIMATELY and legally. He got mafia cleaned out of New York about 30 yrs ago. He has read “The Art of War” and uses those techniques among many other tactics. Lastly, Trump is NOT stupid, not by a long shot. Both his enemies and his friends say of him “Never underestimate Trump. NEVER.”
I was going to post something similar. It is outrageous that Pam Bondi is not in jail for her totally unethical and criminal actions in the Zimmerman case. I can only hope this is Trump’s way of eventually setting up Bondi, so criminal charges can finally be brought against her. I know it is a longshot but I despise her for what she did in that case against an innocent man!
Ethical behavior and morality is so important for the person that will be picked as the Attorney General. This pick reminds me of the past Democrat’s Presidential picks for Attorney General.
Donald Trump: George Zimmerman not ‘going to heaven very quickly’

…let’s not forget, people sometimes learn, change….the Apostle Paul was once Saul, murderer of Christians…
Okay…I’d like to think out loud here for a moment, and get some serious feedback…
OTHER THAN the Trayvon Martin crap…not trying to minimize it, just want to set it aside for a moment, and notwithstanding the subsequent post about her lobbying (which I haven’t fully read through, yet)…
Do we think that Pam Bondi would do what Trump wants done?
I say that because while the IC and deep state (aren’t they the same??) may have the goods on her with which to exert pressure and control…do we think they would be able to use it, or if they used it, that it would work?
Maybe the threat to use it would do the job, but part of me thinks that, if this is the only thing they have on her (remember, I think it was a piece of shit thing for her to do, but I’m trying to see the long game here), and the admin knows about it, they might just give the IC the big double barreled middle finger and say…go ahead, try.
They would be torpedoing their own narrative about Trayvon and would take down some serious ‘civil rights’ bigwigs…Ben Crump for one. I don’t see any way for the others involved in the fiasco to do damage control for themselves and their interests without also rallying to Pam Bondi’s side.
I also think that, while we know the truth, the narrative is really set hard…not sure the public would be willing to entertain it…
That all presupposes that Bondi and company are willing to engage in the good old fashioned Mexican standoff, which presupposes that Bondi is willing to communicate the threat to others…
So…supposing that the threat from the TM incident is somewhat neutralized…
Do we like her???
History rhymes. And we thought Trump had learned his lesson regarding key personnel picks. It seems he hasn’t. Wasn’t he ready for this? Didn’t he already have a list of true patriots lined up, plus back-up? Bondi is his back-up?
All that campaigning, all that work getting Trump elected and it will be a repeat of 2016 with the Senate opposition and the traitor personnel picks. I had such hope.
“My name is Bondi, Pamela Bondi”
“A woman who is not afraid to prosecute and imprison the innocent for a political trick.”
Who in the world is Trump using to vet these people? It is so disheartening. I don’t want Trump sidelined.
He’s not getting support from the right places. Fox now has Paul Ryan on their board and he is pushing his fellow fecal picks.
The Zimmerman prosecution was my first exposure to Andrew Branca when he was writing over at Legal Insurrection.
I’m not persuaded by that case history that Bondi is a compromised pick….compromised to the DC DOJ/FBI/IC interests. This was a state prosecution. A special counsel prosecuted the case. It is by no means clear that as AG, Bondi was privy to the nuts and bolts of the evidentiary issues raised in SD’s piece. Or that we should wring our hands at the prospect that Bondi will somehow be blackmailed by any assertions of complicity in that decade+ old case. What is laid out is publicly available and has been written about before. Its pretty weak sauce as blackmail material and delivers no direct suggestion that she is personally devoted to protecting anyone on the 2015-today DOJ/FBI/IC list of bad actors. I might have preferred a Paxton, but she strikes me as someone who will be more than willing to open up and pursue an investigation on those bad actors. The Trayvon Martin/Zimmerman case does not seem to be at all disqualifying. I tend to think she’ll be a good pick. At this point, if DJT hasn’t figured who is a good team member and who’s a placeholder for corrupted DOJ/FBI/IC community, then hopes for a Reckoning are unlikely to find success.
Excellent analysis and conclusion and very worrisome. Please find a way to convey your conclusions to PDJT . If he is aware of this perspective then we must all worry.
SD: “…the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of…”
Not a chance PDJT is so ignorant. We don’t know what is happening “behind the curtain,” but it presently sounds like a train wreck.
For what it’s worth:
Donald Trump: George Zimmerman not ‘going to heaven very quickly’

Heard on radio this a.m. ~ 11/22 ~ [Deep State’s] happy w/Pam Bondi pick. 🙁
So,friends, we have a problem–which is a fundamental problem in politics and analysis of politics (whether the analysis is by such as ourselves, a government agency or an academic researcher). The problem has two parts–what is the role of the leader in history and why does a leader do what he does, what does he know (that we, perhaps, do not–pardon my fake humility) and how does he make his decisions. Actually, we also have another problem–are we honest with ourselves, do we remember what we were saying only a week or so ago? One can easily accept the thesis that Trump in 2016/2017 did not know much about Washington or about all the people foisted upon him by the Republican establishment and also did not know much about how Washington, DC works (either things on the surface or that which goes on under the surface). And he had to set up his administration very quickly, starting at baseline of zero. However, it is much harder to posit a naive/innocent Trump in 2024 after his experience in the White House and as a victim of unrelenting lawfare. Therefore, we have all been hopefully looking forward to all sorts of aggressive, MAGA nominees for top positions, we have been assuming that a much better informed and experienced Trump would appoint the people Sundance has identified as best choices. Yet Trump has not consistently done that! To the contrary, he is choosing for positions critical to the struggle with the Deep State SOME people, like Bondi, who clearly appear to be the worst possible choices. If we are not hypocrites and amnesiacs we have to give Trump credit for not being some kind of idiot or, worse, a false prophet. Which takes us to the nature of politics–not politics as mechanics of elections and parties but politics on the highest level, the struggle for power over policy and money. This is a game that has gone on since human society emerged and will continue until the coming of the Messiah. A leader has to–yes–make deals. A very knowledgeable person once said to me when we were discussing history and current affairs–“everything is deals, everyone is always making deals.” He also said to me, after I exclaimed that Alger Hiss indeed was a Soviet agent–“everyone is spying on everyone else”. In other words, get a hold on yourself, are you surprised? So I offer the following tentative hypothesis for debate–perhaps Trump is doing what he sees as necessary in order to play the game as best as possible within the given limits?
Thank you.
Meanwhile Obama smiles and thinks to himself, if I had a daughter…
Perhaps give Bondi the benefit of a doubt? Maybe she learned her lesson after the Trayvon fiasco? Maybe she didn’t know as much as Sundance gives her credit for? Maybe she could be asked to explain? Despite what Democrats think, people do change over time.
If the facts portrayed here are accurate this woman belongs as a bona fide member of the swamp, not as someone to clean it out. Who recommended her? That person is dangerous.
Do you people not understand that since slavery ended, we are not on equal footing? Trayvon was a protected individual and other colors of people are not allowed to “be on the lookout,” stalk or otherwise entangle ourselves even in the face of rampant criminality.
Times have changed and even the “appearance of evil” of targeting of black people for ANY REASON by normal citizens is not allowed. The atmosphere during the Times of Obama was radically charged and if Bondi had NOT put her Lilly White hands on the scale of going “above and beyond” any whiff of racism, perverted justice, or aligning her racial justice friends to hi-jack real justice, she would not be standing before us today. At least we have stand your ground and can carry weapons.
Even President Trump said it was an horrific act to kneel on the neck of George Floyd. Like it or not, this is our situation.
IMO, she is definitely a ‘loose cannon’ and could be a real snake. She is not MAGA either. I posted on your X feed that she really persecuted Field McConnell and Timothy Holmseth, before the election, and don’t forget how long she left Geo. Zimmerman in prison while they collected false evidence (see above from Sundance).
I had hoped Trump learned from previous adminstration under him, & all their problems, some of which were bad appointments. I have never been able to figure out if he just didn’t know, or was listening to the snakes surrounding him. I can’t wait to see more dirt, as am sure there is more.
“This is VERY concerning. Pam Bondi is seen here advocating for red flag law — a complete obliteration of due process. Removing natural rights requires a process of adjudication that red flag denies.”
I read folks on the left hitting Bondi over her role in the foreclosure crisis in Fla, essentially her actions against what might be considered MAGA base versus the syndicators / deep state mortgage companies.
How is it that the Trump campaign isn’t doing a proper vetting of these appointees? That’s the PRIMARY JOB of the Chief of Staff. Of course Trump’s Chief of Staff is a deep state lobbyist, so, from my perspective, without question she’s doing her damnedest to torpedo Trump’s second administration just like Jeff Sessions and Reince Priebus did the first time around.
There’s been stories in the press about leaked conversations that have taken place from INSIDE the transition team. Where do you think those leaks have been coming from? Yah, some of it has been made up stories by fake news trying to torpedo Trump’s second administration from the outside like the first one was. But, where’s there’s smoke…
This incident with Zimmerman is a bit like what happened in the George Floyd thing except it was Fentanyl that killed Floyd, not the police, but the transparently innocent went to prison to achieve the political/racial solution that was more desirable.
Without reckoning with the DOJ, nothing in there will change.
I’m afraid there’s a lot President Trump doesn’t know that he thinks he knows. After all some of his most trusted advisors are Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, sheesh.
I think she will be another Jeff Session & Bill Barr, doing nothing as an AG🤨
Confused by different viewpoints here on Treehouse regarding Bondi.
Steve Bannon, Mike Davis, Kash Patel, John Solomon, Todd Starnes, and a dozen other conservative thinkers and influencers are giving Pam Bondi accolades.
From what I am hearing she is a loyal Trump supporter and America First all the way.
Susie Wiles is starting to look very questionable.
