My fervent hope for Western civilization has always been that a Trump win would inspire the populations of Europe (and elsewhere?) to their own renaissance in reclaiming their nations from the hands of despots intent on shutting them up and crushing them under the weight of the bald faced tyranny they exist under today.

The laws are already on the books (and so no Congressional or legislation needed) to break up the Big 6 news/entertainment cartel.
Back in the 50’s, due to recognising the need for diverse points of view, Congress passed laws, limiting the amount of media companies, Tv/radio stations and newspapers, that any one entity could own.
However, the legislation leaves it up to the FCC to detirmine WHAT % can be owned.
In the 80’s, as the Big 6 media companies began gobbling up newspapers, radio and tv stations, the FCC (regulatory capture) simply RAISED THE %, in order to allow the purchases.
ALL the FCC needs to do, is lower the %, and that would effectively force sales that would have the effect of breaking up the LEGACY media.
The FCC has plenty authority, to destroy fake news, it just needs to USE it.

Inspite of informing GPT of what the issues were and what I had tried we went through all the same formulations . None worked. I finally found a work around by mining the data before it went into the spread sheet. It was intresting but you would go broke as a coder trying to get Chat GPT to do your work for you.
