Yesterday 11/16, Israel carpet bombed 32 cities or towns in Lebanon, hitting residential apartment buildings in Haret Hreik in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Decision Desk (leftist) shows 220 Rs. But Trump has been appointing a lot of House Rs to his cabinet, so you have to subtract those three (so far): Stefanik, Waltz and Gaetz. That leaves us with 217, a minority. But races are still not over.
We will likely (but not definitely, since there is blatant cheating going on in CA), end up at 218-214. To me, that is way too close. It means we can only afford to lose one vote on any given House vote, and that will happen a lot just due to absences.
Maybe Trump will rethink Stefanik and Waltz. He won’t rethink Gaetz, because he is behind that pick 100%, he says it’s his most important pick and won’t back down. He will put the Congress in recess just for that one pick, and I think Johnson will give him the necessary backing. And Gaetz has already resigned anyway.
Congress members do not have to resign until confirmed and sworn in. The state can start the needed preparations such that the resulting elections are held quickly with minimal effect on the House.
Gaetz resigned immediately to prevent a vote on his ethics charges such that the inevitable release of the evidence would not be official and thus not as damning, assuming that the report supports such. His resignation does not affect any others.

If you listen to the Spaces conversation in the first post, it goes considerably beyond merely “failing in their mission” and extends well into intentional, malicious, and evil actions. They were in fact both intercepting and stealing donations already on the ground, among a long list of nasty deeds, including some not discussed, like forbidding people the ability to repair their homes and stealing land through condemnation.
The Red Cross took close to $50 million of direct Helene donation funds, including all the money raised by the special concert fundraiser, and left after a couple of weeks – no doubt to hurry back to the Darien Gap with their loot – AFTER abandoning people like the mother in the video above and feeding false, malicious information to CPS, as well as very detailed personal information they had collected “in order to help.” There should be a full audit of the Red Cross and their charity status revoked as they are anything but a charity.
It’s also been known for many years now, and documented in some circles, that there are those in CPS who are part of the global human trafficking operations and that they are also filled with petty, evil little creatures who take great joy in taking children from certain groups of people… They need as much, if not more, investigation and house cleaning as FeMa does – even though they try to hide behind the “we’re a state function” cloak (which doesn’t protect them from federal investigation and charges).

Infowars Restored to Alex Jones in Total Reversal of Yesterday’s Shutdown…
The tables have turned against the enemies of Alex Jones in an absolutely stunning turn of events detailed by the man himself during a series of live broadcasts earlier today.
According to Alex Jones, President Trump, Elon Musk and all of their lawyers are personally interested in his case. Jones says there is an active federal criminal investigation open in Houston against those conspiring against him. Essentially, what happened is that the court-appointed bankruptcy trustee for the state-level court conducted an illegal, secret, fake auction handing over Infowars to the ownership of The Onion. Attorneys for X Corp., the firm established by Elon Musk to take over Twitter, filed a notice of appearance on Thursday in the bankruptcy case of Alex Jones and his Infowars platform.
The new owners of satirical news site The Onion had been declared the successful bidders for Jones’ controversial platform, alongside families of the Sandy Hook massacre victims.
But this week, the Texas bankruptcy judge overhearing the case voiced concerns about the transparency of the auction process and called for a new hearing to discuss those potential issues.
“Nobody should feel comfortable with the results of the auction,” Judge Christopher M. Lopez said, according to a Bloomberg News report.
Both Musk and Jones are known allies of President-elect Donald Trump. Musk has allowed Infowars to broadcast on X while Infowars’ fate is in limbo.

The Trump transition team is compiling a list of senior current and former U.S. military officers who were directly involved in the withdrawal from Afghanistan and exploring whether they could be court-martialed for their involvement, according to a U.S. official and a person familiar with the plan.
Officials working on the transition are considering creating a commission to investigate the 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan, including gathering information about who was directly involved in the decision-making for the military, how it was carried out, and whether the military leaders could be eligible for charges as serious as treason, the U.S. official and person with knowledge of the plan said.
“They’re taking it very seriously,” the person with knowledge of the plan said.
In his book “The War on Warriors,” Hegseth wrote, “The next president of the United States needs to radically overhaul Pentagon senior leadership to make us ready to defend our nation and defeat our enemies. Lots of people need to be fired. The debacle in Afghanistan, of course, is the most glaring example.”
Hegseth calls the withdrawal a “humiliating retreat” and says leaders at the Pentagon were not held accountable for the deadly attack at Abbey Gate, which killed 13 U.S. service members and roughly 170 Afghan civilians. Regarding the Senate ramping up to hinder Trumps objectives……again. I think based on the SCOTUS ruling of the executive power, much of the stuff he ran on……or at least the big picture, “I’m doing stuff you voted for.”, stuff, he can do from the Oval Office and ignore congressional whining. Get several of his cabinet picks quickly confirmed and it just adds more, “we are doing stuff you asked for”, to the tally sheet going into 2026. And regardless of Senate slow crawling stuff, Trump will be doing stuff his coalition asked for and the Senate Republicans will benefit despite their desire not to benefit. “Damn him, we are adding more to our majority despite our best efforts to get back in the minority.”
Alot of the big picture stuff he ran on……and won is executive based results. Stopping Ukraine war (executive diplomacy), general stopping wars and conflicts worldwide (executive diplomacy), border enforcement (executive based), overall crime reduction (executive based), going after cartels, banking, money, kinetic action against cartels (executive based), etc. Not much legislative requirements. Yes, no tax on tips or overtime requires legislation……but what congress rat will vote against that.
I wonder if he ran on big executive based stuff that didn’t need congressional action knowing they wouldn’t help him. Yes, I know he ran on MAGA, but the big (sake of a better word), showy stuff is executive based.
The true power of the Presidency has ALWAYS been dependant on his public support.
If he has little public support, they can impeach (and convict!) him for nothing, or hamstring him,…but with strong public support, he can pretty much run the table.
Thats why so much of their efforts against him, from day one, were attempts to attack him “in the Court of Public Opinion”.
I believe as he says “success breeds success” and that his popularity over the next 4 years will grow even stronger, as his list of accomplishments, FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, grows.
