President Trump has announced that Stephen Miller will be the Deputy Chief of Policy for the next administration. Miller will work closely with President Trump and the legislative liaison to organize and prioritize the flow of actionable policy goals.
Miller will also man the White Board and check off the promises kept!
Associated Press – NEW YORK (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump is naming longtime adviser Stephen Miller, an immigration hard-liner, to be the deputy chief of policy in his new administration.
Confirming the appointment, Vice President-elect JD Vance posted a message of congratulations on Monday to Miller on X and said, “This is another fantastic pick by the president.” The announcement was first reported by CNN.
Miller is one of Trump’s longest-serving aides, dating back to his first campaign for the White House. He was a senior adviser in Trump’s first term and has been a central figure in many of his policy decisions, particularly on immigration, including Trump’s move to separate thousands of immigrant families as a deterrence program in 2018.
Miller has also helped craft many of Trump’s hard-line speeches, and was often the public face of those policies during Trump’s first term in office and during his campaigns.
Since leaving the White House, Miller has served as the president of America First Legal, an organization of former Trump advisers fashioned as a conservative version of the American Civil Liberties Union, challenging the Biden administration, media companies, universities and others over issues such as freedom of speech and religion and national security. OK. I am curious, though, why you and some others thought “Stephen” is a woman. I know it’s 2024 and many young women carry traditionally male names, but aside from “Stevie” and “Stephanie”, neither I nor my wife (I checked with her) have ever run across a female name “Stephen”.
Also, Stephen Miller has been President Trump’s primary speech writer since 2016. During the first term, especially after one of PDJT’s exceptionally inspirational speeches, Miller was discussed here in comments sections among Treepers.

Replacements for congressmen aren’t done by appointment, they are done by special election. It’s senators who, when a replacement is required, are done by appointment by the governor.

I agree that the use of the word “hard liner” was intended with a negative connotation.

I heard that he helped write President Trump’s victory speech in 2016. It was a total firebreather at first. They decided to back off a little and keep it positive and uplifting for that particular speech and save the fire breathing for a later speech. I am guessing that later speech was the 2016 inaugural address. That was a firebreather.

The frequency of these so-called family units entering illegally was also recognized as a very disturbing and recalcitrant problem at the border by Obama administrators and direct Federal humanitarian responce staff at the border.
Which should not come as a big surprise for in FACT many of the same people on the front lines in the later days of Obama, were also the very same officials on the font lines at the start and during Trump’s term in office.
