It was interesting to read a recent German article on the downhill trend in Germany, along with the comments.
In short, the commentator wondered how such a once vital country has deteriorated so quickly.
The answers were various: some blamed the entire post-war nature of the country.
A good number blamed the inculcation of an internationalist mentality (“I am a Trans-Atlantiker” or “I am a European”) rather than any kind of nationalist pride, from Kindergarten on up.
I saw this over 40 years ago first-hand and into this century: guilt from the Nazi era still pervaded, and the attitude on patriotism was that it was dangerous.
And only idiots joined the military!
A German commentator posed the question: “How can a country stand up proudly of oneself, if it is crawling to the E.U. for permission and obeying its dictates?”
Another German commented: “The Russians have more freedom under President Putin than we have under Brussels! ”
And finally: “The election of President Trump has nothing to do with our problems! Our own choices have ruined us: how can we still be electing the people who are destroying us again and again?”
Part of the answer to the last question is in the inculcation of that globalist mentality from Kindergarten and beyond: this is why I feel so strongly that the Communists in our schools must be rooted out and replaced with patriots who will teach The Truth about America, along with basic logic and critical thinking, rather than Leftist Agit-Prop.
A second part of the answer is the multi-party “system” throughout Europe: you end up with minorities in charge, supposedly making deals with other minorities to represent the majority.

When I was stationed in Germany 40 years ago, joining the Bundeswehr wasn’t an option. It was mandatory for all German males, with few exceptions, to serve in the military. Young German men worked and saved money for their 2-year hitch because the pay was exceptionally low compared to US forces.
One thing I do remember is the Germans invited Turks as guest workers. Within a brief period, they started treating them like unwanted guests. The bigotry was very evident. How they got the current population to embrace unfettered immigration always stumped me. My best guess is most Germans didn’t sign up for the EU dictates. They want the recent Muslim invaders removed, but their voices have been censored and their political movement suppressed.

The executive branch has the ability to deport somebody who’s in the U.S. without authorization. If someone can be demonstrated to be in violation of federal immigration law, deportation is the penalty. In practice, they are entitled to a court hearing in which the government has to prove that they are here without authorization and they’re not eligible for like some other form of relief — asylum, for example.
The alternative is something called expedited removal, which allows people to be deported without a court hearing if they are apprehended within 100 miles of the border. The current regulation is they’ve come into the U.S. in the last 14 days, but that can be changed.
The ability of ICE to just arrest people is easier when it’s someone who’s already in county jail somewhere. But it’s much harder to track people down in the community.
And the last resource bottleneck is removal: You need a seat on an airplane, and the country where you’re going to send them has to agree to take them, which is a diplomatic problem. Governments such as Venezuela and Cuba are unlikely to cooperate.
So any assessment can range from fear mongering to downplaying. The maximalist view would be what they had talked about doing — using red state National Guard units to assist federal deportation agents. If you wanted to play fast and loose with the U.S. law, you could have them make arrests. If not, you can have them building and staffing the detention facilities.
But what is far more likely is that they’re not actually anticipated mass roundups — that they identify people who are easy to target and take into custody. They talked a lot about people with existing criminal records as a priority. Some of those people already have removal orders entered against them by an immigration judge, so you don’t have to give them another court hearing. Of course, the reason that they haven’t been removed yet is either because the government has given them favorable discretion in the past, or because they come from a country that isn’t willing to accept them back.

Bingo. To compare those times with now just doesn’t work. People actually had more say at that time in their elections, the elections were simpler and therefore more secure. Was there cheating? Most likely there was some, but not as widespread as it is now I would bet. . Just the mail in issue alone completely changes the landscape on elections. Machines, early voting, late counting, none of that was allowed or existed.
There is two years to improve our elections before the mid terms which are important for the control of the House. The republicans had better get engaged in working seriously on that. Presidential elections are to be run by the States, but couldn’t Congress enact Minimum standards?
Make negligently maintaining an election roll used in a federal election a federal crime constituting mass voter fraud by criminal negligence if the error rate in the electoral roll exceeds 0.5% of the roll. Minimum mandatory penalty of 20 yrs prison for the top five people responsible for maintaining the electoral roll including the State’s Secretary of State.
Close the electoral roll four weeks prior to any election by making it unlawful to enrol any new voters more than four weeks prior to an election. Require all election rolls to be audited in the two weeks after the rolls close. Do not permit any early voting until the election roll is certified as accurate. Permit early voting effectively from two weeks prior to an election.
If an election roll is inaccurate then that roll cannot be used for a federal election and all Federal Senators and Reps from the affected State are to be suspended from all Federal office until the electoral roll passes audit. Any State that fails the electoral roll audit is to be fined 10% of annual State Tax revenue for enabling election fraud.
This is not telling states how to conduct an election, merely setting standards of transparency and confidence in the electoral roll used in federal elections.
Every other democracy in the world manages to maintain an accurate electoral roll, it’s about time the USA joined the club of functioning democracies.

Wiles is also a seasoned lobbyist; her LinkedIn profile summarizes her leadership roles at multiple corporate and political lobbying firms since the mid-1980s, allowing her to sway Trump’s psyche with her conflicts of interest.Wiles became co-chair of lobbying firm Mercury Public Affairs in February 2022. As highlighted by Wholistic News, Mercury’s clientele includes Pfizer; Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, which spearheaded vaccine funding and distribution efforts during the COVID-19 crisis – a role also played by the United Nations Foundation, another Mercury client; and Gilead Sciences, developer of the equally-rushed COVID-19 “therapeutic,” remdesivir, as critiqued in Science.

Then there’s Kuae Noel Kelch, Mercury’s vice president of media relations. She is national president of Mocha Moms, a non-profit organization through which she advocates for “global vaccines” via the Shot@Life campaign. Shot@Life is run by the aforementioned United Nations Foundation (UNF), which played a leading role in arranging and funding the global response to the declared COVID-19 pandemic—particularly the prioritization and rapid rollout of novel vaccines. In March 2020, the UNF launched the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund to help the World Health Organization “accelerate research and development of vaccines and therapeutics.” The fund reportedly raised over $254 million by August 2021 with significant funding from Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. The UNF also led a fundraising effort for the Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator (ACT-Accelerator), an initiative “to accelerate the development, production, and equitable access to COVID-19 tests, treatments, and vaccines”.
This boon for the pharma/biotech industry was only possible because of the unprecedented “testing” campaign – yet another pandemic money grab for clients of Wiles’s firms. Prior to joining Mercury, Wiles worked at Ballard Partners, a “lucrative, well-connected” firm whose client list includes multiple manufacturers of COVID-19 tests. This includes Nanobiosym, a military-funded genetic diagnostics company,
as reported by Nanotechnology Now. Robert Langer, co-founder of Moderna, sits on Nanobiosym’s advisory board. Nanobiosym has received substantial backing from the Unreasonable Group, a public-private incubator partnered with the State Department and Johnson & Johnson, and subsidized by the likes of Bill Gates and Google.Given these immense financial interests, it’s not hard to ascertain which forces drive the “Wiles M.O.” The majority of Americans have already decided they want somebody new in the White House, reports the Associated Press. However, Politico notes “the even greater power [Wiles] might have if Trump wins later this year,” offering a glimpse into the aggressively pro-Big Pharma platform circling a second Trump presidency.” …….

Another two ballot dumps in Maricopa County. Guess which way they went.
The first batch of 23,169 ballots, released at around 11 am MST Sunday, went more than 55% for Ruben Gallego and just over 41% in favor of Lake, netting Gallego an additional 3,278 votes.
Later, at 7 pm, MST Maricopa dumped 97,254 ballots favoring Gallego 54% to Lake’s 40%, bringing Gallego’s lead above 66,000. Notably, Kamala Harris won only 51% of these votes, and Trump won 47%, which makes no sense.

Maricopa County is becoming a laughingstock for corrupt elections. They conducted a massive public audit, confirmed(!) that the election had been stolen, and then did absolutely nothing.

Among the many initiatives we all hope happens in the next 12 months (J6 pardons, deport the illegals, end the wars, etc), I would put moving the various agencies out of the DC area into the massive area of red counties near the top while firing most along the way.
The fact of the matter is that the bureaucrats live in an echo chamber. Starting at their elite universities and throughout their movement up the ranks of the swamp, they are not exposed or care to be exposed to what our country really thinks. The latest data point being the “complete shock” reported amongst the swamp that President Trump actually won! They read the same two newspapers, watch the same two tv stations and probably have never driven further west than PHL or east of Lake Tahoe.

There are possibly a few among them who were violent; these would include total outliers from Trump supporters and those who became violent after being gassed, and watching their cohorts being beat up. So, which is which?

I agree that it shouldn’t be a blanket pardon. Especially if any of them are FBI assets or plants that got mixed in. (Also, since when is it OK to enter the Capitol building — or any other govt building — by breaking windows and climbing through?)
I heard President Trump say awhile back that he wanted to pardon most of the J6ers, but seemed to reserve the right to hold some people responsible for more aggressive crimes.
“I am inclined to pardon many of them,” Trump said at a town hall hosted by CNN at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. “I can’t say for every single one, because a couple of them, probably they got out of control.”
He added that “most likely” he would pardon “a large portion of them.”
“And it’ll be very early on,” Trump said.

So, what is going on in the Senate? It appears Mitch McConnell is playing musical chairs. Why can’t he wait until January to have a leadership successor? I would speculate he intends to resign and have Kentucky Governor Andrew Beshear appoint either himself or another Democrat as his successor. Resigning now would give the new senator seniority over senators who will be sworn in on January 3. These are the games Senators play.
If McConnell is replaced by a Democrat, it alters the math concerning who will run the Senate in 2025. Expect the cabal to go to the mat to block President Trump’s appointees. The Democrats still have a powerful incentive for Senators who are tempted to support President Trump: campaign cash.
The cabal sits on the pipeline feeding cash into the campaigns of all of the Congress. It is a bulwark, with pacs and pack mules, and laundries like Ukraine. I was encouraged that Elon Musk sat in on President Trump’s phone call with Zelenskyy. He might be in a position to influence reform in this area.
I believe the state of Kentucky does not allow the governor to appoint. It would be the legislature.
Hold the phone. McConnell wrote his own bill the Kentucky legislature passed for filling his own vacancy. And if it happens within three months of a new Senate term, the replacer need not face the voters until the next election. The governor must choose from three names chosen by the party, so McConnell has that stacked.
