For everyone complaining about Rubio…think about how inconsequential SoS really is…its a diplomatic post for the most part.

RV campgrounds have by far been traditionally family owned. They too are been bought out and regulated out of business.
State and federal park campgrounds have begun raising rates dramatically and limiting rentals.
A very similar thing is going on with mobile home parks. A few large corporations are buying up the parks and they immediately skyrocket the lot rents and come up with improvements needing to be done to the mobile homes that many can’t afford. If you decide to leave, and especially if you have a doublewide, how are you going to afford to have the doublewide disassembled and than reassembled plus you have to move 2 homes, in a manner of speaking? People are selling their homes for less than they owe and certainly less than they’re worth. Lot rents are now in the category of renting a large apartment or a small house … the lot rent ALONE!
How can they legally ban this? Something does not make sense here. I live in one of those states and no sellers of these nor buyers have been complaining about this that I have heard.

Wendell Anderson tried something like that in Minnesota. After Mondale was elected VP in 1976, Anderson resigned as governor, and had the new governor appoint Anderson to the Senate seat.
Minnesotans had somewhat higher standards for their politicians back then and defeated Anderson when he ran for a full term because of this tacky maneuver.
DeSantis appointing himself as Senator would be political suicide. His constituents are already angry at him for abandoning them for an entire year to campaign against Trump. If he bails on them again, he WILL be primaried out when his term (as Senator) expires in 2028.

Not sure if the appointment offer is real or not since nothing from President Trump himself, only ‘sources’, but if Senator Rubio is offered the position of Secretary of State there is a potential upside, for he would no longer be a sitting Senator (assuming DeSantis will pick himself or another RINO republican to take Rubio’s spot), is – if Sec. of State Rubio doesn’t follow the President’s agenda, he can be fired!!!
