Thank you for this beautiful tribute to God and country.
For these past four years, everything has been so completely out of whack. Unfortunately, instead of educating people the academy brainwashes them. Back in the 1960s the blue-collar worker was made to feel like a lackey if he couldn’t afford to send his kid to college. Bernie Sanders nailed it when he said today a Bachelor’s Degree is the equivalent of a high school diploma. Then you need a masters and by the time you’ve earned that it’s obsolete so you need a PhD. Planned obsolescence courtesy of non-profit ivy leagues. Kids getting through a four year college can’t get jobs. Trump is right to advocate trade schools. That’s just some of it. Yes, everything is out of whack.

1. We admit we were unaware of our Republican abusers – Our elections have become manipulated.
2. We accept that only a power greater than ourselves can restore our republic.
3. We make a decision to focus our effort and our life to the care of a loving God.
4. We have made a searching and fearless inventory of our prior beliefs.
5. We have admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human, being flawed in our political belief.
6. We are entirely ready to have God free us from defects of character, break our victim mindset and strengthen our resolve.
7. We humbly asked Him to remove our false assumptions.
8. We have made a list of all political abusers, and we commit to holding them all accountable.
9. We accept the need to confront the republican abusers, if even when doing so hurts their feelings.
10. We continued to take personal inventory and if we accept victimization again, we promptly admit it.
11. We seek through prayer and deliberation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for righteous knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had an emotional, intellectual and spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we pledge to carry this message to others who are abused, and to practice these principles of awakening in all our political affairs.
It takes on average, 7 attempts, to leave one’s abuser. Also, the most dangerous time is when the victim is leaving or has just left….

To God Be The Glory! Thanksgiving prayers with gratitude for all graces and help on ALL who worked hard and made sacrifices, offered prayers that in God’s own time – His Will Be Done. God be praised and honored for never-failing His people as He promises to those who truly respond to His invitation to “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”.

Like many things in the bible, requires understanding of Jewish culture! It was common in first century Israel that when a man and woman became betrothed there was a period of time before they got married. In this time the man would build a room off the main family courtyard for him and his new wife to live. Of course, he would have to work to live and eat and build in his spare time. As a consequence, these rooms (bedrooms) were often just big enough to sleep. Jesus is using the visual image of the bridegroom being betrothed, going off to prepare a room for his bride, which directly links to the church being the bride of Christ. Incidentally, this also is show in the parable of the ten bridesmaids in Mt 25 and also why there was no more in the inn!

I was 10 years old when Ronald Reagon beat Jimmy Carter in 1980. My memory of that year is that my parents were elated, describing their feelings as “Liberation Day!” At school, for the inauguration, they had an announcement that if any students wanted to watch the inauguration, we could do so. I raised my hand (4th grade) and asked to go watch. The school set up a TV in a broom closet next to the A/V room. I sat in that dark room with the TV by myself for 3 hours and watched as much as I could until the bells rang for lunch.
This is Liberation Day.

1980 was the first election that I was old enough to vote in, and I proudly cast it for Reagan. I was off to a good start at 19. And now this come back and what will end up a resounding victory makes it all come together.
I’ve been writing for months that the photo of Trump pumping his fist in Butler is an iconic photo that will be talked about for centuries.
This is without exaggeration the most important political event in the past 250 years of Western civilization.
And Trump is now the most consequential political figure since Lincoln.

I encourage everyone to go (once) to the FDR Presidential Library in Kingston NY, and see what a pain in the democracy FDR really was. My wife and I stopped on impulse while driving by, and learned a lot about him from his own records.
Prior to FDR, each President took all of their personal effects, or left them to be destroyed by the next occupant. FDR was so high on himself that he wanted the public to see the context of his 3 war terms, what he really wanted from the New Deal, and how his socialist vision was repeatedly thwarted by Congress and the Supreme Court. The exhibits are a sob story about how he wanted to do so much more, but from a conservative perspective, it’s a story of our country’s root causes of today’s issues on government heavy handedness and social control. The guy was terrible.
