In the J6 case President Trump was accused of conspiring to illegally overturn the 2020 election. Charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. However, the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity, again threw a wrench into the Lawfare strategy.
President Trump wins a massive electoral and popular vote landslide election. Within 12-hours the DOJ announce that technical legal processes block them from targeting a president-elect and sitting president.
The non-pretending reality of the issue is that Jack Smith and the Lawfare attacks were always going to end up in appeal to the Supreme Court, and the high court had already put its opinion on record. The election result provides the DOJ an excuse, a plausible justification to save face.

In the New York City case, watch Judge Merchan defer any sentencing outcome pending the appeals to the higher state court. Those appeals will likely be successful, and the entire issue sitting in front of Merchan becomes a moot point.

The NY state fraud case is up on appeal to the Supreme Court-Appellate Division (the intermediate appellate court0, and judging from the reports of the oral argument, the judges seemed to have some doubts about the legal basis for the case.
Questions kind of like:
“Don’t you need a victim in a fraud case?”
“Did the bank suffer any financial injury?”
“Didn’t you stretch the language of the statute to cover the facts of this case?”
I’d predict the court issues an opinion reversing the verdict as based on legally insufficient grounds.
The E. Jean Carroll verdict is up on appeal the the USCA for the Second Circuit. No opinion on that, either.

And you don’t go after them for prosecutorial misconduct. You order them to produce the required documentation which will be declassified and made public without redaction.

Security clearance should automatically be revoked for anyone in an administration who no longer needs it due to a change in committee assignment or cabinet/advisory appointment. This especially includes officials from prior administrations. was never meant to be a lifetime get. Anyone caught passing on security info to prior admin officials should be tried for subversion at a minimum.

I don’t pretend to understand the scope of what having security clearances means. However, I’ve read a number of times over the years that those clearances are a money making commodity. Perhaps a full review of who needs to have them and why is in order? I wouldn’t think the likes of Jack, Pence, Obama, or a Cheney, along with many others would really have a legitimate need for them during a Trump administration. Wouldn’t the CEO of the country and Executive branch have the position to decide who ought to have them and at what level?
Well, according to the SCOTUS immunity opinion, the president is the executive branch.
Security clearances do not grant a holder of the clearance carte blanche to access classified information. They are limited to strict need to know rules. There are millions of individuals who hold these clearances and that is way too many. I agree these people have no need to hold these clearances and should have them withdrawn. However, unless specifically stated on a clearance holder’s record that there are circumstances that would stop them from holding a clearance, i.e., if they have been debriefed because of adverse information, that person retains eligibility for reinstatement of their clearance for 24 months after they are debriefed.
Many of them just go to a contractor and have their clearances reinstated and yes cleared employees are golden. It saves lots of time and effort if a company can recruit someone who is already cleared.
Up until they did it to Pres. Trump, former presidents kept their security clearances so their advice & wisdom can be sought at times of crises. But we’re in new uncharted territory. Never have we had 2 presidents selling us down the river.
The Lawfare was done to keep Mr Trump out of the election, that’s over so it’s not needed anymore.
