Let me explain why fake news pollsters peddle lies in this case. Democrats in Texas know the state is going Trump, so you need a convincing lie, something motivating them to vote statewide. Fake news polls peddled a close Senate race because they wanted to squeeze out a few more Dem votes in close House races.
It’s all about the down-ballot House races. I suspect internal polls indicated a clear Cruz victory.
Also, if they make the vote seem closer than it really is, the vote fraud won’t be quite so glaring.

Wife is a precinct captain here in west Michigan
She just called and told me Trump lost by a single vote at her precinct.
Why is that good news? Because in 2020 he got beat pretty solidly( she didn’t remember how much, but said this outcome tonight was a huge pickup)

I have been thinking about the long history of Michigan being a prime car/truck manufacturing place, before we changed our laws and encouraged off-shoring manufacturing and importing products from other countries.

Amendment 3 was NEVER going to get weed off the streets. Legal weed was 21 and over; where did they think the under 21 crowd was going to get theirs?
A3 was pushed by the illegal weed vendors as well as the legal vendors. Seems that weed that has taxes put on it is more expensive than weed that isn’t taxed. Glory be! Also, A3 would still not have made growing your own weed legal. There were a few other problems that I saw as well. Glad it and the amendment legalizing abortion up to birth failed.
Republicans are in the dark ages when it comes to legalizing cannabis. We were all brainwashed with propaganda for the past 40-50 years that cannabis carries a negative stigma.
There are many medical and therapeutic benefits of cannabis. The biggest is that it is an alternative to opioids for pain management. Separately, if you have Crohn’s Disease, IBS and many other medical issues, it alleviates the symptoms better than any prescription drug in the marketplace. It is also huge for Veterans and it is the #1 drug used by cancer patients.
In our lifetime, scientists discovered that the human body has a cannabinoid system. Just like the body has a nervous system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, etc. Cannabis is a very important herbal medicine for the human body.
Republicans/conservatives that want freedom should rethink their stance on plant-based medicines like cannabis and many other plants that were made illegal by politicians.
Nobody objects to weed for medical ailments. Under a doctor’s supervision is better. Marijuana does nothing for my permanent nerve pain. What is out there for “recreational” weed is not what was smoked in the 60s & 70s. It is high-powered stuff that is addictive & long-term harmful. And it’s just as nasty as nicotine in causing lung damage.
Is cannabis worthy of scientific research for medical use? Absolutely. What we don’t need is weed being moved across our borders or legalized for use by school-age kids, which is what this is all aimed at.

The coast and eastern Oregon are very red. Same with the smaller towns in the Willamette Valley. Depending on where the reporting is coming in from ballot wise, that’s not hugely shocking. Once the Portland votes start being counted that changes. Worse, with mass mail in ballots, the recipe for fraud there is well built in. Its not an accident that Republicans have won like 2 state wide offices in the 25 years since it went into effect.

Centre County officials were planning to stop counting ballots throughout the night in violation of state law.
We threatened to sue — and that was enough. Officials agreed to continue the count as required.
