There’s a myriad of outrage articles written about the Senate DeceptiCon Leader stepping down from his position and the likely heir apparent John Thune (R-SD) taking his place.
I doubt you will find a website that has been outlining the conniving duplicity of South Dakota Senator John Thune more than this one [SEE HERE]. That said, attempting to stop John Thune from becoming the next Senate Majority Leader is an exercise in futility, here’s why.
I cannot stand Thune and his Big Ag duplicity. But I’m not going to waste time trying to change an outcome that is essentially done, negotiated (yes, discussions with Trump) and “in the books” so to speak.
We have written about this plan for several years. Mitch McConnell isn’t leaving the Senate; he’s just stepping down from leadership. McConnell personally groomed Thune for the position and has introduced him to all the key financial players that keep the DeceptiCons (Deceptive Conservatives) in office. GO DEEP and GO DEEP
John Thune talks about assuming the role as the natural outcome of his time with McConnell, because the political silo that houses the Senate chamber is well fortified. Unfortunately, almost all the GOPe Republicans (DeceptiCons) will support this passing of the baton, and the only thing that makes the Deep State professional Republicans nervous, is the potential for President Donald Trump to intercede in the anointing. This is Trump’s leverage point.
With the upper chamber in Republican control Thune has the support of the democrat uniparty apparatus and the Decepticon wing of the republicans (McConnell’s team). The nonaligned Republican coalition is approximately 20 to 25 members, who might -key word, ‘might’- vote against Thune. This makes Thune’s installment a generally accepted foregone conclusion.
We don’t have to like that reality, but we are not going to pretend. We can dirty him up, position President Trump for maximum leverage, but at the end of the day math is math and the numbers in opposition just are not there. Now, if We The People want to change this dynamic, then [HERE’S The Solution]. Having said that, remember, the Senator who becomes the Majority Leader then controls the committee assignments and specifically who are the senate chairs of those committees.
President Trump has previously been in meetings with Senator John Thune in Mar-a-Lago.
FLORIDA – John Thune, the second highest-ranking Republican in the Senate, was in Palm Beach, Fla., for fundraisers with his wife, Kimberley Thune, and called to see if Trump might be able to sit down and chat.
It wasn’t a sure date. Less than four years prior, Trump had called Thune a “RINO,” or Republican in name only, and urged others to try to oust him in a GOP primary, saying on social media that “South Dakota doesn’t like weakness!”
But in the hourlong meeting with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort, Thune and his wife helped defuse some of the tension in the relationship. Those strains have loomed as a problem for Thune as he vies to lead the GOP in a possible Trump second term, and shows how the complicated politics of the party and the uncertain election are pushing the onetime antagonists to mend fences.
“I think we have an understanding, and it’s professional,” Thune said of Trump in a recent interview in Michigan, calling the Mar-a-Lago visit important in establishing a personal rapport. “We both know we have a job to do.” (read more)
Yes, as the political games are played, positions and interests are discussed well in advance to permit the political players to organize their best interests. No doubt Thune expressed his position, and President Trump discussed his expectations. This is just what happens at the highest levels of DC government.
For our optimal solution approach, it is prudent, pragmatic and proactive to shift focus away from the senate leader role and toward the objectives of President Trump and the MAGA movement he represents. We, meaning us and Trump, need positions confirmed, ergo we need specific interests represented in the Chairs of the Senate Committees who hold the power of advice and consent.
This is likely the approach taken by President Trump in his discussions with Thune. President Trump is a man of pragmatic wisdom who understands the longer, more strategically necessary moves that need to take place in order to achieve goals.
EXAMPLE: The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) will hold hearings to approve or deny appointments to CIA, DNI, NSA, FBI etc. The Senate Committee Chair holds the timing and outcome in his/her hands. The same thing applies to the Judiciary Chair, Senate Foreign Relations Chair, Senate Homeland Security Chair etc. etc.
In the role of Senate Leader John Thune can work against President Trump, or the two men could come to an agreement. Ex. President Trump endorses Thune in exchange for Thune accepting names for chair and committee assignments that would be favorable to Trump. Hopefully, something like that will likely be the outcome.
We are not going to be able to install a different Senate Majority Leader with only 20 or 25 pure-blood MAGA senators in the silo. Compromises will need to be made, but with the end goal of having a solid foundation to rest the cornerstones of President Trump’s second term.
The battle against the Deep State will require an SSCI Chairman who at least gives the opportunity for success. In my opinion the current vice chair, Marco Rubio, is going to be the acceptable chairman for both Thune, Trump and the Intelligence Silos who operate in the SSCI orbit.
Several months ago, Marco Rubio went back into his pretending role giving the illusion of conservatism, liberty and freedom. Those who accept that Rubio wears masks, can easily identify his self-interests. But again, like Thune, the number of Republicans who understand Rubio’s masks are not enough to change the scenario of who becomes the next likely chair of the SSCI. The pretending amid the upper chamber is strong and the awakening electorate don’t quite fully understand it, yet.
Getting the right people into Senate committees, and more importantly getting the right Senators into the role of the Chair, is really the dynamic that matters most. This is the actionable dynamic that should be our focus. It is wise not to be distracted from this focus by getting caught up in the emotional (angry), yet futile, fight against Thune.
President Trump will need leverage and pressure points to break through the hard silo and deal with the Senate Leader.
The Secretary of State is confirmed by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The Director of National Intelligence, Director of the CIA, NSA Director and Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (ICIG) all must pass through Senate intel committee confirmation. The Senate Homeland Security Committee confirms the Dept of Homeland Security Secretary (DHS). These, and many more, are vital to our expectations.
Yes, the next Senate Majority Leader is important. However, we must remain focused on the goal and not get too distracted by the leadership battle.
Public pressure that provides President Trump leverage is useful. Outrage and anger that can label MAGA as extremist and create more internal alignment for what will be an inevitable outcome, can/will work against our strategic interests.
This is where it becomes important to accept President Trump as keen negotiating Trump and finding the optimal solution.

Trump trust noone!
The problem is he trusts everyone. He refuses to believe that there are bad people who do not like him and will do anything to defeat and/or block hm. It might be ok to have a few traitors in the ranks, but honestly, don’t have them involved in any room with you unless your son Eric is present.
He keeps saying how he did the honorable thing by not locking up Hillary…do you think anyone cares about that? They think he is a fool…Democrats are evil…you cannot defeat the devil with honor or statesmanship or care…they just think you are stupid.
I see it here on the local level; the Republican Party here is a party of losers. They keep being nice to the evil Dems who walk all over them..I don’t understand maybe because i was a leftist activist in the 60’s…you have to fight fire with fire…that’s the only thing they understand. You cannot defeat Satan with respect…it needs to be crushed with the heel of your boot.
Well said.. the RINOs are spineless every where starting at the local level..the reason is not too difficult to understand. They are not a genuine opposition to the democRATs and have rarely been other than pretending to side with conservatives on cultural issues and taxes
Genau!
There is a good chance that if Trump does not win the election the Republican Party will crash and burn. Everyone will know what happened if Kamala is installed. The woman can’t do her part even when everything is set in place for her and many in her own party hate her. No one will trust anything after that. A large percentage of people will come to the conclusion that voting does not matter and simply drop out of the political process.
Rinse and repeat….except if the boss gets a ‘mandate’ next Tuesday. Then follow or get the hell out of the way.
Hopefully Chicom Mitch doesn’t last much longer wasting the breath of normal people
…and that he takes his ‘Thong’ with him.
Now, now…
Psalm 94:8-11 NKJV
Understand, you senseless among the people;
And you fools, when will you be wise?
[9] He who planted the ear, shall He not hear?
He who formed the eye, shall He not see?
[10] He who instructs the nations,
shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge?
[11] The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile.
If God knows then the prayer should be: Father if the leaders of our nation are corrupt and I ask you Lord to show them the gift of forgiveness and salvation that Jesus your son died for. Lord if they cannot accept your grace, Lord ~ Judge them from on high May their plans become their own traps and snare them with their own pride. Amen!
Amen!
The Sanhedrin was never dissolved, unfortunately. This awareness is , however, the key to moving forward.
AMEN
Trump has no fear and total confidence in negotiating with those from the world of New Jersey construction to the world stage with Putin. And he knows others who are good negotiators to help. And he knows how DC operates now. The numbers look good there for a favorable outcome.
Plus a wildcard may be the Brunson Bros, not just w the Supreme Court, but the Fderal Reserve.
Trump on Negotiations –
I lived in California in 2006, and my very first political cash contribution to a candidate was Thune.
Shows my nativity to politics at that time.
I know Thune is the appointed one now, and for all the wrong reasons.
My eyes were opened 9/11, and it too me almost 14 years later to see the light.
Too bad for us we have to accept Thune. It is a given, just like Johnson was forced on us.
I’ll never forget in my early 20’s, me and my buddies were very much in to politics. All conservatives. And my one buddy joined Thunes ground team, and tried to get me to join as well. He flew from DC to SD and canvassed door to door for Thune.
I chose not to go because I had no clue who this guy was, and I had no clue how we would get around SS safely. And for some reason I feel like the campaigning was done in Montana. Was getting there before SD?
Rick Scott for GOP Senate Leader.
Fairly good ally to Trump and rich so can’t be bought.
Scott is rich because his former Company, Columbia Healthcare, bilked(overcharged) Medicare/Medicaid for about $700 million in the largest fraud case in history. Fortunately for him, he bailed before the settlement and got out with a very golden parachute. Other than that, he’s better than Thune or Cornyn who are Never-Trump RINOs!
Scott is a weasel. Not a stand up guy.
that
s depressing...if sundance is indeed right i think this administration(if we do actualy "win",sort of).will look stunningly similar to 2016..........if true,we have to accept that we DO NOT control the republican party....the establishment republicans will call all the important shots...again..it apparently has nothing to do with any learning curve for trump....hes boxed in…
it appears there is no way out…layers upon layers of failsafe firewalls to stop trump…who do we blame?
why,ourselves…stupid republicans who can
t bring themselves to vote against traiterous incumbents.....mitch/thune barasso et al....swimming against the tide....one of the few articles i regret reading here(although i an a realist and i wasnt aware of the hopelessness of the process) ….i was starting to feel encouraged…lol
So very gratuitously Doomy.
I understand how you feel. I am one of the few who have always voted against Cornyn in the primaries, but we must stay encouraged none the less.
Keep the faith brother!
the supreme court spelled out the president’s power over the executive branch. they can’t stop trump. first stop, the DOJ/NSD office.
In Michigan, If we manage to elect Rogers, who is he going to be? Seems to me he was in on the creation of the surveillance state. I voted for O’Donnell in the primary but no one else did. Stop sending Seal Team 6 members, Helicopter Pilots and Ex FBI, CIA agents back to Washington, send accountants.
I’m enjoying this thread, but having trouble joining in because I’m thinking we still have a huge machine manipulation effort to deal with on Election Day… I still remember broken water pipes in Atlanta… and the “magic” happened… sorry for being a downer….
Yep 100%
Did you hear AOC, we are threatening them to make him president. Obama is the king in that manner, holds the country hostage to get his way.
They will cheat no matter what, same as how Thun gets anointed.
Agreed, long row to hoe before next Tuesday 👍👍🙏🙏
These four look like a take from the series ”The Invaders””
If they had to work they wouldn’t be there. To old to do anything productive.
STOP ELECTING SENATORS.
REPEAL THE SEVENTEENTH!!
ROGER THAT Maquis we need to not forget and work to that as a goal for MAGA
I hear ya, I want it on the record that I do not like it or him. But I hear ya.
Go scorched earth. Whoever votes against Trump’s guy gets a big, fat fatwa on them. Play offense. Make them unelectable.
Rubio has work to do if he expects to enter the Trump orbit. To not attempt to enter Trump’s orbit is to risk the end of his Senate career when his term is up.
IMO Rubio is still a skunk RINO. Remember the gang of 8 amnesty committee?
Rubio almost got his amnesty bill passed.
I think threats of outing Rubio’s homosexual past keeps him in his RIÑO place. He will do exactly as he’s told.
Past? What makes you think he stopped?
I was just going to ask that same question.
There has to be a non-violent way to get rid of these people that doesn’t involve voting.
Unfortunately, no. Other than resigning, the only way to remove a Senator or Representative is to vote them out of office. There is an expulsion clause in the Constitution, but that requires Congress to police themselves then take a vote similar to impeachment.
I wonder how Eleven Inches of Persuasion would affect that dynamic?
Geez Marquis, I was thinking the same thing. What does that binder contain and how can it be used during “negotiations”? Makes me hope that Thune’s name prominently shows up in the book.
Hmm…reverse psychology…if the MSM think any of their RINO patsies are turning proper MAGA-conservative, they could be run out of DC on the Left’s tried-and-true slander/accusation/’me too’ train. Christine Blase’ Ford probably needs a job.
???
And to think, How Thrilled I was, when Thune unseated then Majority Leader Tom Daschle ! Back in ‘04.
“Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”
Probably Tom Daschle was more Conservative!
Outrageous!
I used to love that spoof commercial that Rush did about him as a late night radio host.
Those spoofs are the reason I kept up my subscription after his death for a couple if months. We were led to believevwe would be able to access replays of his old shows. I soon found out that was a lie.
And could they possibly have gotten two more uninteresting clowns to take over?
Might the recess appointment dynamic be different in the new Senate?
Would it not simply take a single faithful Trump-sympathetic senator to frustrate the “pro forma session” gimmick by
(a) first objecting to (withholding consent from) a set-the-table motion by the Majority Leader to rule quorum calls out of order during said upcoming pro forma session (a motion which requires unanimous consent in order to pass); and, should the Leader nevertheless call for a vulnerable pro forma session,
(b) attending such pro forma session and making a “quorum call”–thereby exposing the absence of a quorum and consequent failure of the in-session fiction?
At which point the Senate should rightfully be deemed in recess in fact, enabling the president to exercise his Constitutional recess appointments power.
Happy to have my rudimentary understanding of the relevant Senate rules on the matter clarified, but it’s my understanding that it was the failure of a and b above that prevented President Trump from effecting any recess appointments during his term.
Should one attempt that, they need to wear a wire!
On the other hand: Rather than a pyrrhic fight to get a new one, establish and maintain leverage over the enemy you know…?
Kari Lake said she will do that which is why McConnell will make sure she loses.
I remember when Hugh Hewitt was going so hard to get Thune elected….
Which makes him the next Uniparty-Republican Pez.
There may be an immediate way of disrupting the Senate. When Nixon went off the international gold standard, it removed any serious control over government spending. The lack of incentive to not spend, except when needed to posture for a re-election campaign, created the unifying principle of the UNIPARTY. The priority switched from to spend or not to spend, to spend on virtually all projects.
The idea of a basket of items of value as a support for a currency should be embraced by all that want to throttle deficit spending by the government and cut the black box budgets of the Deep State.
A basket of gold, silver, oil, minerals and enriched uranium could support a currency easily, but it would require the government to save the items in the basket just like they save gold.
A basket of such items would be flexible and tangible and would go a long way to providing stability for a growing economy.
Keep in mind what the UNIPARTY taught Trump. Investigations by the DOJ and the Inspector Generals can apply huge leverage to the key Senate committees. He can temporarily appoint a different AG every 90 days which is enough time to get indictments. He can do the same with the CIA and FBI, and just roll the same set of trusted warriors through the departments until the opposition to his administration is neutralized.

“Do not post huge blocks of text. Think of the reader, and modify your presentation for understanding, not for exclaiming. Do not write to yourself, you are writing to others, so please structure your thoughts so other people can grasp and enjoy. NEVER post massive blocks of text without paragraph breaks.”
“PARAGRAPHS – Should NEVER be longer than two or three sentences taking up three to five standard lines of text. Again, you are writing to be understood, the emphasis should be on the reader comprehending what you are sharing.”
************************
William, does have paragraphs, but they are all together in one big block of text. = This is unfortunate, as the thought of having our paper currency actually backed by something valuable is a >good idea. … We now have a ‘fiat’ paper currency, losing value with inflation. = Many things are NOT actually increasing in price. Our paper money is quickly losing its value in purchasing power.
It’s his device.
You can see where paragraphs were created, but not separated.
Needs more spacing, click twice, Bill!
I like the idea of a wagon wheel cabinet that rotates one seat every 90 days if need be. Continuity of policy to be maintained. Constant cabinet members. Pre-defined rotation order. Sit in a circle, rotate the title plaques, have a shared swearing in, then start the next 90 days.
Chaos Series.
I like it.
In the last couple of minutes of this interview, Mike makes a conclusion about President Trump playing ball with the deep state.
Okay
One guy’s opinion.
We will see what really happens.
If the whole interview was like the last 2 minutes, I’ve lost an awful lot of respect for Mike Benz.
This is a fight for ALL the marbles. Trump would never accept less than what this country deserves, which is total long-lasting success. And if we think he went through all of this for only 4 years of freedom and prosperity, then we are sorely mistaken.
My President Donald J. Trump is in this to change the world, not just the USA. And I’m betting he will do exactly that.
The leadership positions is where the power is. The Council On Foreign Relations made sure to get one of their members Newt Gingrich in as Speaker to stifle any insurrections in the House during the Clinton crime spree years. He also made sure to whip those freshmen Republicans who came in under the NAFTA backlash, the Republican Revolution of 94, into the Uniparty line.
These guys have not a clue what is about to befall them.
Problem is Kentucky has a democrat governor for some reason and will replace McConnell with a a democrat if he goes down.
Incorrect. The party of the outgoing Senator submits three names to the Governor, and he picks one of them.

John Thune Rails Against Trump Supporters, Vows to Back Establishment Candidates Over Outsiders
https://thenewamerican.com/us/politics/john-thune-rails-against-trump-supporters-vows-to-back-establishment-candidates-over-outsiders/

Now Thune will sell RINO votes to the dems whenever they need them.
Just like RINO Mitch. SSDD
Creepy.
I have long thought our electeds should wear something like what the NASCAR drivers wear so we would know to whom their allegiance lies.
Repeal the 17th Amendment…
Make States Great Again!
I am a native of South Dakota. Although life has taken me on a journey through several states since leaving after High School. Both my wife and my family settled there before it became a state. Now to Thune. Just another grifter who has been funded by wealthy ag corporations. The corporations are mostly family types. They have lived off government welfare for at least two three generations. How many small businesses have price supports and subsidized insurance? Paid not to plant! Patriotism will never be found in a wallet!
Your post reminded me of the subsidies received by the Busches of the Anheuser-Busch family when they owned the brewery. I looked at that website that tells who receives farm subsidies and found DH’s cousin’s name. Owner of large farm in Marthasville, MO. Owner of many pieces of large farm equipment. I also found other local names – same situation. I was sad to see President Trump continue the ethanol subsidies. Of what benefit are they except to the corn farmers.
I’m from SD. Thune is a major snake. Sure my name is on a post it note on his staff’s bulletin board as someone to ignore. Don’t trust him. He is a rino to the core.
On a scale of 1-10 with a 1 being Cocaine Mitch, and a 10 being Donald Trump, what is John Thune? A 3? A 2? In other words, does this changing of the guard move the needle even 1%?
Would Thune actively use Senate PAC money to hurt people like Cruz, the way McConnel has, or is he slightly more reasonable?
I’ve always wondered, why do they call him cocaine Mitch?
There was a crazy article written about a cargo vessel. And if I remember right the cargo ship was owned by Mitch McConnell’s wife’s family (they are Chinese). The ship was supposed to go from, I think Europe, to Columbia…but it never made the trip. And when it was searched, a crap-ton of cocaine was found on the vessel.
Anyhow, later on a guy running for Senate from Virginia or West Virgina was being interviewed (I believe he was a GOPher running in a primary), and during the interview he used the term “Cocaine Mitch”. He meant it as a pejorative.
The McConnell team wisely, I guess, created merch in their shop that alluded to this (Cocaine Mitch) thing. And so I think the fact that he embraced it sort of gave cover for everyone to start using the term.
It really came to prominence, later, when people would try to defend Mitch for his stance way back on the Merrick Garland thing and the fact that Mitch held up his nomination, by Obama. In other words, when people would be critical of how weak Mitch was, his supporters would defend him by noting how “badass” he was during that critical Scalia replacement situation. And the term went from being a pejorative to being a compliment….because it alluded to Al Pacino in Scarface being a badass who doesn’t give a damn (honeybadger is said in this same vein).
Anyhow, that’s how all that happened!
1.5 ?
Is it the Judiciary committee who deals with Attorney General nomination? If so, should we expect any pushback when Trump nominates Ken Paxton? I realize even if the nomination fails, he can just keep appointing short-term “acting” AGs over and over, but it would be nice to have Paxton in there from the start.
Some preemptive communication of expectations and allusions to consequences in the wings could go a long ways . . .
Employee turnover on the hill, hopefully the new guy is better than the old guy, age limits, term limits.
The 3 acolytes of Satan and their Chinese owned leader. A disgusting group that has never supported the MAGA movement or Trump. I wish no ill on anyone, but all of these chicken chit cowards need to be removed, 1 way or another for Trump to flourish. I would like to see the payouts for Thune early in his career when he couldn’t keep his pants zippered with Govt female staff members. The one thing that the Senate/House has for initial ownership/blackmail of weak minded members of both. Calls should be made to release how much money to which members are on the list covered up. I hope, like Tommy Tuberville, that the new senators voted in understand that the MAGA movement has moved beyond these RHINO backstabbers and are not going to be friendly with them if they are nothing more than Mitch 2.0.
IMO, President Trump has the goods on all of these vipers. I’m not worried about his being able to proceed with his spectacular agenda….”we’ve caught them all.” Come January, we’ll know just who “they” are. And it’s gonna be EPIC!
Thank you for mentioning that fund that pays off victims of our electeds’ sexual exploits. Several years ago I read it had already paid out either $15 million or $55 million, don’t remember which, but either one of them is too much.
Did y’all know it was going to be John Coryn from TX. The anti-gun senator. Also, Coryn worked with OK’s traitor Lankford on the “border bill” that Kammy touts constantly.
Jesse Kelly put out the word that Coryn was top of list – about 3 weeks ago.
Many of us contacted our Republican senators & said Don’t You Dare!!!
It’s going to take another senate 2 cycles to clean these bast*rds out.
Hopefully Thune’s time will be short.
The Wise Judge (The Holy One) still sits on the Throne. The scripture clearly says not to assume anyone has a tomorrow coming up. “This night your soul is required of you”. So….. all of us is on borrowed time. Thune may be first in line, but he may be dead first before his turn comes up. “Don’t assume anything” is good advice for everyone.
I agree with Sundance’s premise as outlined.
What I don’t agree with is the continuous doom and gloom that President Trump just cannot finesse a good deal among all the snakes slithering around in DC.
How do you think Donald John Trump lived his life and built his businesses, which continue today? How did he create the NY skyline of today? How about Wolman Rink?
How did he negotiate peace deals in his first term? He wasn’t playing with nice people, nor morons.
Maybe I’m in the minority here, but that is a.o.k. with me…because I am not going to piss and moan about President Trump’s failures, before he is even re-elected as the 47th President and Commander in Chief.
However, it does appear that the world is getting ready for 4 years of a Trumpian MAGA Golden Era explosion.
Donald Trump can handle the likes of a John Thune.
A Golden Age Beckons!!
Concur. Li’s video ‘Trump on Negotiations’ posted above makes this point perfectly, IMHO.
Rage or Doom, the two faces of the Derps favorite coin.
Dispirited Impotent Despair.
A poor investment, the worst, maybe ever!
He will find one or more leverage points.
I think there is a middle ground here. It is true to say Trump typically does well in negotiations with foreign nations. However, it is also true to say he did not do well in negotiations with Congress. Now, if you want to attribute that to Russia Hoax weakening him when dealing with Paul Ryan and Turtle…..Ok, I’ll buy it. But the facts are the facts and the history IS the history.
He did not do well in terms of legislative wins in his first Administration. Almost all of his wins were in foreign policy and executive orders. In other words, things he could get done without Congress.
I do think if he wins this time, that he will have a much better go of it.
First, I think the MAGA wing of the part actually exists now and can help with pressure from the inside. Second, he will have a Vice President who isn’t a total fraud and moron, that can help liaison with Congress. Third, if we have both houses it will be because he drug people over the finish line and, unlike last time he did it, I think he’ll get credit for it.
But pointing out that he basically got rolled last time isn’t doom and gloom. It just happens to be stating the facts. And it’s a rational concern to have about him going forward.
PDJT is Optimal Prime!
I naively thought Thune was gone and cheered that back then. Something kept nagging at me until he was mentioned again a while back. Oh C**p.
Trump was able to sink Tom Emmer. He should do the same to Thune.
Thankfully DJT has some legitimate allies in the house. Sadly, those are few and far between in the upper chamber
Dems gave whole new meaning to “passing the baton” for US Senate Committee rooms.
https://nypost.com/2023/12/16/news/senate-staffer-who-filmed-public-sex-in-congress-leaves-ben-cardin-office/
Thune is as corrupt as McConnell. Trump better not expect to have his back, he won’t. He’ll back Uni-Party Military Industrial Complex Deep State that is wrecking American National Security, but they make the big bucks.
Only a matter of time before Thune starts snapping his suspenders and throwing his new-found weight around, letting everybody know that he’s in charge. For a little while, anyway. McConnell may have groomed Thune for the Senate leadership position by showing him all that he knows, but for all McConnell’s experience he can’t train Thune about all that Trump knows. There’s going to be repeated rounds of negotiations between Thune and Trump. I’m thinking little Johnny is about to be educated about Trump’s mastery of “The Art of the Deal.”
I’ve read a lot of the posts below,,, look here, this is Trump we talking about. we don’t know what he knows. We don’t know his thoughts on issues, but,we do know this; I believe he’s got the best interests of the people at heart. I think he’ll make the right decisions.
Trump has to threaten to use the Redundancy Act to eviscerate the IC to get things past the Senate. He’ll need to play very tough by wacking a few organizations early just to set the tone.
Flame thrower, or scalpel?
If another Tesla (or two) backed into a pond, others might wake up.
Wasn’t there another Senator who was floated as a possible Senate Majority Leader? Can’t remember who it was, I do remember it was yet another RINO.
But the possibility leaves me wondering whether we could upset their cozy little apple cart if we got someone better to throw his hat into the ring. I wish we had 20-25 decent senators!
If we can just get Trump elected and get no voting machines, voter ID, paper ballots, citizens only, one day voting, then we can find out who truly win elections.
So many of the names written about here are undoubtedly installed by the corrupt machine.
Cleaning up our election mess should cleanse a number of the organized crime syndicates machinations.
20-25 MAGA senators? Today?? What planet are we living on??? I thought we dont pretend here…
I dont think i can fill two hands up with Gop senators i even like a little bit, let alone actually trust. Let me try, in no particular order:
1. rand paul
2. Tommy tubberville
3. Josh hawley
4. Ron Johnson
5. Ted budd
6. Jim banks (soon hopefully)
7. Mike lee
8. Tom cotton
9. Chuck grassley
10. Ted cruz
Keep in ming we’re losing Vance and dewine(barf) gets to appoint his replacement. Those last few i dont like or trust at all, i was just trying to fill my fingers up. Am i forgetting anyone? Dont know much about moreno or sheehy, maybe they’ll be solid but I’m not holding my breath. And lest we forget, even if we get to 51 next week, we still have lisa and sue voting no, and so we won’t be able to get anyone actually, legitimately solid, confirmed. Sadly i think DJT is on his own.
The other senator from MO, Mike Schmitt, I believe to also be a legitimately America First at heart.
hmm… when trump wins he may drag a number of senators over the line with him. then, as we all know, the deep state is going to go nut’s. their actions before the inauguration may expose the corruption of mcconnell and his minions. there may be some new senators that will throw a monkey wrench in the works. anyway, what happens between the election and the inauguration is going shock americans and thats a prediction i’d bet a c note on.
The bright side is the most exclusive club in the world is positioning for a President Trump victory!
