Incredible as it seems, at least to me, it is the four-year anniversary of this outline [GO DEEP].
During the rushed debate over the Patriot Act, was when I first heard political officials talking about the importance of “continuity of government.”
I immediately recognized what all these DC voices were describing was a construct of a post-911 government that would exist and maintain itself without the elected representatives of WeThe People.
The intelligence gathering and homeland security system put into place after the Patriot Act was passed, is a bureaucratic administrative state without the presence of elected officials controlling the apparatus. That leads to the following question:
How can a constitutional republic function without elected officials in control of it?
That question is at the heart of our current situation.
That question is at the epicenter of this “new American democracy” that no one seems to understand.
The simple answer is it cannot.
We have been fighting this three-headed IC monster (DHS, DNI, DOJ-NSD) ever since.
This reality the underlying predicate behind why Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed the Special Counsel charges against Trump. This reality is also the underlying framework behind why the Supreme Court recently reaffirmed the plenary power of the President with control over the executive.
In the post-9/11 system that was created by the Patriot Act, our Constitutional Republic was inextricably fractured, placing systems and silos in charge of government under the auspices of “continuity of government.”
From that moment forth, elected representatives no longer held authority or oversight *over* the national security apparatus. Instead, the Patriot Act flipped the actual system of democratically elected representative government.
The RESULT: Our elected officials became subservient to the institutional interests of unelected agency officials. As Senator Schumer calls them “the six ways from Sunday” coalition.
This reality empirically surfaces with people like former AG Bill Barr saying the President does not have unilateral authority over the DOJ. Also, the Lawfare approach and narrative that a President is not the arbiter of governing power. Both statements are constitutionally false, as affirmed by SCOTUS – Thank God.
Understand this. This is the root of the cancer that was always present, silent and lurking in the background institutions prior to 9/11. After the Patriot Act passed, that cancer fully metastasized and entered the bloodstream of American governance.
What was previously a slimy bag of institutional snakes, kept in place by a tenuously worn nylon bag – sewn from the remaining fabric of our constitution, was released by the Patriot Act.
Everything thereafter, including the constant bites we suffer from the unleashed weaponization, is a consequence of that moment.
That’s the root of our modern political reality.
This is the “new American democracy,” where the unelected officials and administrators within institutions hold power.
Under this Patriot Act framework, representative government [executive branch, legislative branch and even the judicial branch] are subservient to those who use the shield of national security. This outcome is the direct consequence of creating a system for the “continuity of government.”
LEARN IT!
Then, suddenly, everything about the domestic enemy we confront gets really clear.

Thankfully, the Supreme Court has now given indications that they understand what has taken place.
The Supreme Court has recently affirmed that only the President of the United States has the authority to control the Executive Branch. As a direct and consequential outcome, only the President of the United States can remove the core issue that has corrupted our constitutional intent.
Every element vested in the “continuity of government” as a manipulation of the constitution are now aligned to eliminate the threat President Donald Trump represents.
We have one chance.
Vote like your freedom depends on it, because it does.
Read the SCOTUS opinion, not from a point of view of President Trump, but from the point of view of what does this allow him to do in his second term, and what invisible straightjackets did it remove that were a threat during his first term?
While impeachment is a political process within the Legislative Branch, and the Supreme Court is extremely hesitant to overstep their role therein, the High Court did put this sentiment clearly into the opinion about immunity: …“The President is not above the law. But Congress may not criminalize the President’s conduct in carrying out the responsibilities of the Executive Branch under the Constitution.”…
Congress may not criminalize the conduct of the President simply for carrying out his core executive branch duties.
Removal of Executive Branch officials is a core duty, an official act, carrying absolute immunity.
That affirmed reality is exactly why the Deep State and Lawfare crowd are very alarmed.

There are currently 41 active-duty four-star generals and admirals. Which is MORE than at the close of WW2 when the armed forces had ten times as many men in uniform and was engaged in combat all around the globe.

It’s like this: the charter has been amended; designated departments, divisions, and functions have been eliminated. The roles no longer exist; therefore, the employees having been attached to those roles now have no requisite station in government employ.

There were institutional silos already being formed. If anyone was close to or involved with the FBI then, they knew a shift was taking place but didn’t understand it. That was the beginning of the transformation of the FBI. Longterm quality agents were being systematically removed and relocated away from DC. Peer groups such as they were, were being broken up through the rank and file. Newer kiss ass types were being elevated. From 2002-2008, even before the kenyan was installed, the FBI was no longer the agency it was. All of the tenured agents I knew retired or were forced into isolated posts.

At The Big Picture, a clip of Sen. John D. Rockefeller (then Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence) discussing how oversight actually works has been posted. It’s from an interview given in 2007, about the time the FISA Amendments Act was being put together to replace the expiring Protect America Act. The amendments act, among other things, extended the length of warrantless surveillance and gave telecoms retroactive immunity for their participation in the NSA’s bulk collections.

JMO…one way to get rid of the PA is public scrutiny. Bring forth very public hearings on what the PA is ….how it has infringe our rights and the results of having it in place. Very public harms that it has created with witnesses. Put pressure on the polls to justify it’s existence after the harms caused by it’s abusive use.
I’ve been thinking about an analogy Sundance used in another post of Donald Trump possibly laying the stones to rebuild our republic in what will be 4 very short years. This post helps me understand what he means.
The foundation that America’s Founders laid was brilliant in its simplicity. And, there are signs that it remains in place under 100 years of fascist layering, remodeling, demolition and reckless looting. We can peel it all back if we’ve the will.
As he did countless times in the restoration and vitalization of New York’s’ skylines, Trump is a man with the vison what exists, what it was, what it can be, and then, start excavation down to the core structure and rebuild.
I pray, that Donald Trump and his new team see the depth of Sundance’s analyses, that he understands the Republic’s original architectural drawings and that he knows where to start the excavation.
If the DOJ/FBI/CIA/etc. can’t handle the job for the Royalist Deep State of treating the American people as subjects, then they will send in the US military to do it.
The new Commander in Chief may have something to say about that.
And I don’t think Trump would ever give that order.
We cannot maintain a rogue CIA that operates outside the law and constitutional limits with zero accountability. The current mess we are in started with the CIA and brought us to the Patriot Act and now the current amorphous Deep State blob that has tentacles everywhere. Repealing the Patriot Act is a start but we have to reign in the activity of the CIA somehow. These people are unwilling to give up power and are assassinating anyone who gets in their way. The Chevron decision gives Trump a lot of help to tackle the bureaucracy but Idk how Trump deals with the rogue activities of these unaccountable elements.
There is only one way. Abolish the CIA, seize all its assets including the many companies they run, and start a new organization from scratch with carefully screened individuals. Any oh yea, identify all the people they have in the media and rain hell down upon them.

In defense of the rank-and-file Republican voter…a) the snake part was very well-disguised; and b) the choice given us was Dubya or Al Gore (Biden on steroids with half the intelligence) and Dubya or Lurch (John Kerry, or Al Gore, the twin).
I hate to think where we as a nation would have been, had Al Gore won the 2000 election. Even so, the nuclear emotional meltdown the Democrats collectively provided ample masking of the Uniparty already in place.

i also bet they are kicking themselves for not letting PDJT just go another 4 years. They could have continued to obstruct him, impeached him another 5 or 6times, and maybe unleashed another strain of C19, trying for another round of lock downs.

There should be NO deference to the executive branch by the judicial branch. None.
The powers are spelled out in the constitution. Each has its domain, each must defend it. But, neither defers to the other. That implies an ownership/obligation stake that is allowed to fall away in special moments.
That is what the Founders were counting on.
SCOTUS knows that things are going to blow up if the pressure isn’t released. They also are probably fed up with Congress using them as a political football/punching bag/scapegoat in the last few years. They have the least to lose if Trump wins, and probably want the threat that the IC represents castrated. I’m glad that the judiciary has come to its senses, but I doubt it was for virtuous reasons. More for self-preservation, but that’s fine. Their gain is our gain.

In response to a prior post, I’d noted how adept the IC is at defense through delay.
When considering how to disassemble this monster, don’t forget that the agencies of the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada reinforce and support each other and use each other’s resources against the population of their other Five Eyes partners. As hard as it seems, it’s harder because our ‘friends’ will be fighting us tooth and nail every step.
The Patriot Act – In 2001 I read it and was horrified. I realized it wasn’t so much about the national security of America as it was a means to an end: removing the Bill of Rights and due process from ordinary citizens by labeling them domestic terrorists if it suited their purposes.
My worst fears were born out by being a witness along with all Americans to the unaccountable powers of this Intelligence Community (as they call themselves). January 6th being manipulated and used the way they did to destroy the lives of patriotic Americans who were there to express their belief that the 2020 election was rigged, exposed their pure hatred for our right to petition our government.
Even if we lose this election and we land on some enemy’s list as a result – our voices need to be heard by these national security “experts” in a way they won’t forget.
Every person has dignity because he or she is created by God in His image. As flawed as we are, we all are given voices for a purpose. This country has been great in the degree that it has recognized the privileges we’ve enjoyed as a result of honoring our Creator’s purpose for freedom and the responsibilities that come with it.
We need to remind these people who dreamed up the Patriot Act to eliminate all the voices that slowed them down in their pursuits – that no matter what – we worship the True God –
AND THEY AREN’T HIM!

Re: Opinions of the Court —

Our Constitution sets up a system of governance based around specified and enumerated powers. All three branches of government (there are only three allowed) each has their own defined, enumerated powers, roles and limits. Each has some ability to check the other two.
But all powers not specifically delegated to one of those three branches are reserved to the States respectively or to the People.
That is the separation of powers. Each branch is contained within its own defined box. Each box can check the other two boxes. But the States and the People have everything else not delegated to those three branches. Either States or the People or both can check the federal government. That was how it was set up to work.
